Closest Fridge Fix For Cooking
Closest Fridge Fixes
Changes the fridge chosen to remove food from to be that nearest the Sim and not the cooker while cooking.
The standard code directs the Sim to take food from the fridge closest to the cooker, which in the scene above sends the Sim all the way to the orange fridge, completely ignoring the red fridge. With the mod, the Sim will collect food from the red fridge.
As with my “Closest Fridge For Leftovers Fix“, fridges in the same room as the Sim are preferred; in the scene below the Sim will still take food from the red fridge.

Hello hi!! I’ve been working on bookbinding this fanfic for the past few weeks and AAAAAA.
THIS FANFIC, IM TELLING YOU GUYS.
It gave it all. The tears, the joy, the laughter, the gasps, the pacing at odd hours of the night IN THOUGHT OVER THIS WRITING!!! You're supposed to have good reasons for killing off characters, right? Is "my best friend who made this character for our DnD game is now dead and writing the character without him feels like sacrilege" a good reason?
#im feeling maudlin tonight i guess#i have been having trouble figuring out how to deal w this character plot-wise#and now i have finally said fuck it#im fridging the character#he shall die to further my characters plotline#and help start her (dubiously healthy) habit of collecting younger siblings!#because her actual blood-relations sibling died!#and it feels poetic to have the character die the same way my friend did#off screen and with no closure for those closest to him#its been nearly 3 years and im finally feeling like writing this story again but the plot needs so much help

#Jesus fucking Christ#why do some people just. not see the mess they’re making and acknowledge that it’s their responsibility to clean up after themselves??#like. you throw your shoes in the entrance exactly where people walk. you let shared loafers stand outside for several hours#you cook the most simple dinner that one time you cook (mind you the other people have equal shares of making food)#and yet you don’t even manage to clean up after neither the cooking NOR taking the food off the table into the fridge so it doesn’t turn bad#you keep on taking the most easy solution that fits you the best without thinking about others. in a space where we all are exhausted#and I’m so done with it for now tbh. how lazy to not care about the bare necessities for others. how rude to admit to it#AND on top of this. you’ll tell stuff about your country that’s *objectively horrifying* and then add on to that that you love your country#it’s just. so many things. are so so so much of what I’d avoid in a person. a few things is fine. no one’s perfect. but damn there’s a limit#SORRY to anyone who’s read this far but I just. had to get it out#this guy is the one I’m working the closest with these two and a half weeks. hes still a kid kind of. I’m not gonna be mean to him#but damn. my patience. is being tested#AHHH I might delete this tbh. I don’t like showing this side of myself. I don’t want to spread this kind of negativity#I’m just so very frustrated. how a human person can come to this place and be here for SO LONG already#and still not have learnt the basics of living and working together#own post#oh. and all the triggering of intrusive thoughts is not helping your case buddy#(which you can’t really know about so it’s kinda fair but also it’s for bad hygiene stuff mostly and that’s. I mean…..)

day 4 of my friend's girlfriend practically living in our house

Per-Fridge Leftovers & Closest Fridge For Leftovers
Leftovers Overhaul
Two mods affecting how leftovers are handled - "Per-Fridge Leftovers" and "Closest Fridge For Leftovers Fix".
Leftovers are now stored per fridge, no more putting leftovers away in the main kitchen's fridge and getting them out of the granny annex fridge!
The standard "put away leftovers" behaviour is for the Sim to use the closest fridge to themselves. This mod changes the choice of fridge to be that nearest to the leftovers, favouring any fridges in the same room.

#went back to sleep and had another cool dream#my family (they seemed a lot different - as in they weren't rotten inside such that we were about to go camping together)#(CAMPING?? in my family?? we went on vacation ONCE and not because we didn't have money but because they're just..... dead inside)#(Once in 30 years! they rather stay home forever and watch tv and have nothing in the fridge but sandwich material and fucking eggs)#(again we did have money they were just dead inside)#(and yes i ear the same thing every day but i eat a fuck ton of veggies and MY fridge looks beautiful#with all those colours from the veggies and my plate looks delicious AND i have Danoninos in the freezer)#(thank god for the genetics on my mother's side or i would have turned into one of these lame individuals)#anyway 😌#we were getting ready for camping but for some reason other people were going too#i think this is the first time im able to beat up someone in the face in a dream (or IRL really)#cause there were two people who i identified as two unbearable girls in my school#and they were bothering me so i beat the shit out of them (as a warning - nothing too serious)#then XD we were climbing some long stairs and i was going fast and steady without feeling tired#and one of them asked 'hey do you train or somethingm' and i said yes#being lima lama one of those activities#and one of them (the most annoying creature ive encountered in any classroom ive been to) said 'woo i love lima lama'#i hate Lima lama and only practice it because it's the closest to karate i have available#so i told her 'of course you love lima lama'#so accurate xD#dream journal

Anyways! Yeah Sliver was the younger iterator that looked up to Stars that I talked abt briefly before lol. Stars was the first of their iterator group to bounce, and cut off her communication systems long before Sliver died and wouldn't come back online until long after. Girlie missed all the consequences of her actions while dealing with separate consequences of her actions, so sad how were the rest of your group going to tell ppl to shut the fuck up abt the death of y'all's baby sister
#rat rambles#rain posting#stars was the closest with sliver back in the day and did a lot to shape them into the person they became#the other three iterators of their circle were untold prosperity#golden boon and to the horizon#they were all kind if brats in their own ways but largely they just each had their own grudges going on and rarely agreed on much#not that they didn't care abt each other at all just that most of them prioritized not being hurt more#untold prosperity in particular did see themself as a caretaker of the group for a long time before becoming increasingly paranoid about#how others percieved them (especially after stars cut communications) and ended up growing much more defensive and abrasive#the other two are on the younger end of iterators but not nearly as young as sliver#and they both just did not know what to do when the older two both fell apart and they no longer had a token mature one#golden boon hated how scared he was for them both after paying them little mind before#and to the horizon had always been quite antagonistic to the bunch and didnt want to feek respinsible for all of this#even before all of that tho the group was more filled with tolerance than genuine friendships#also most of them are located in different areas surrounding a huge ass lake#or in horizon's case in the middle of it#sliver is the exception being located farther down the long mountain range that gaze from the stars was built#sliver was built to more energy efficient and less obstructive to the surounding environment in hopes of lessening the need of a new city#as a result the fridged mountain tops and lower tundras still maintain a decent amount of their original chill#this was an experimental model that never ended up catching on in a larger scale so shiver is a bit of a rarity in that#not that it matters much but it does mean their puppet is a lot less complex than most iterators#for example it doesnt have proper eyes things instead just having painted on ones#Ill have to try drawing my hc design her at some point maybe
