my headcanon is that clavell is trans and he used to be a nurse joy and thats why hes dressing up as a student. because he never got to be one as a dude because he was a girl when he was in school
My process has luckily been more of "transform an idea that doesn't fit" situation for most things, but I'm happy to talk about some of the things that didn't make the cut. Whipping out the notes page...
Lacey was actually meant to be the spotlighted E4 member that gets close to Juliana, not Drayton (hence the focus on her in Chapter 1 & 2). She was actually my favorite at first, and I envisioned her as being a positive, grounding guide for Juliana, and also somewhat of a middle ground influence for Kieran. But then I wrote my spin on the cafeteria scene, and I was like "oh my god wait, Drayton's character is so enticing and flexible, and he's especially fun to insert as an influence in the Kieran/Juliana dynamic". SOOOOOO I quickly decided to pivot and make him the spotlighted one, and have him do more of this brotherly figurer role who was very cunning and comedic. Before I even realized I got overtaken by the iconicism, and now he's just part of my brand in general. Whoops. The "Drayton Being Iconic" tag existed on this blog before this happened so I honestly should've seen it coming LMAO. I do have very important plans for the rest of the E4 and what role they're playing, though :
Don't laugh at this one - it was also early development LOL. I was going to have a party scene where Drayton convinces Juliana to pretend she got drunk (I know) as part of a roundabout and wild way to find evidence that Kieran had a soft spot for her (I KNOW). Kieran was essentially gonna waltz in (to a social event he otherwise never would make an appearance in) and he'd get all flustered as Juliana latches onto him. He would've decided to sweep her away from the party and take him back to his dorm. I ended up scrapping this entirely because while teens do party and all that...yeah, and also we pretty much got the dynamic moments I wanted to portray much better through the chapters where Juliana got sick.
Kieran/Juliana dynamic was also gonna have a moment where Kieran gets it in his head to start flirting with Juliana because he thinks that she’s flirting to get him to put his guard down. And that's where they both kinda were gonna secretly realize their feelings LOL. In hindsight lowkey fire still, but yeah, kinda just didn't have the space for it. We do have flirty Kieran era though, and that's still based.
This one is kinda known already, but originally the Applins were the only stars of the show (hence the name of the fic). I added Ribombee in early on after enough people wanted it and gave it lore/a connection to Kieran and his mother. Before Ribombee was conceptualized, I had different plans for what happened to Kieran's parents (he would still be an orphan regardless).
Briar was originally going to make a "deal" with Clavell regarding getting Juliana to come to Blueberry early, although it wouldn't be revealed until Juliana discovers this later. I scrapped this in favor of something much better because I didn't like the implications it had on Clavell's character, and honestly, only Blueberry is supposed to have the sketchy admin/systematic stuff going on anyways lol.
Kieran was meant to show more obvious signs of sleep deprivation (e.g. falling suspect to illness more frequently, slowed reactions). This idea is still good and realistic, but yeah, ended up leaning more into other symptomology that went well with the toxic chain curse (e.g. irritability, obsessive fixations, self-criticism, overworking himself, fatigue, etc.)
Ribombee was going to sleep powder both Kieran & Juliana in the cave scene of Ch 5. I decided to make it a bit more organic by having Kieran up and reflecting on everything + having Ribombee appearance in a more mystical way. Plus, I thought it would mean more if Kieran & Juliana opted to cuddle up themselves rather than being knocked out. There was a part of me that was worried the dynamic was progressing too fast this way with this change, but it seemed to have landed well! :)
This doesn't really count as a scrapped idea, but related: I 1000% retconned something with the Drayton POV chapters (if ykyk, LOL). But YEP. It's CANON. And frankly it's a decision I personally love that has implications, but also won't screw up the storytelling for where we're at now, either.
There's actually a lot more, too, but like I said: most of my ideas tend to upgrade. And lolololol OMG this is especially true for some major lore stuff. I just don't want to reveal it because I don't want to give y'all hints on where we're going!! LOL.
And also...there are cuter moments I haven't used in S&S and probably won't be able to because I account for what makes sense with the given dynamic. BUT what I do end up doing is taking those unused ideas and putting them into What-Ifs or other stories. There's one I'm particularly thinking of that I was dying to put in S&S D, but I don't think it would trip up the current Kieran as much as it would've in earlier chapters, lol. SO. It's going in The Dichotomy in Our Hearts instead! xD
This was super fun to write, hope it was enough substance for the question! <3
If you asked the staff at Uva Academy, there was scarcely another person in Mesagoza more passionate about their job than Director Clavell himself. The students are his greatest treasure, they will tell you; and of course, that much was obvious. Nothing else would quite explain the “Glossary of modern slang” spreadsheet (of dubious accuracy) permanently on his desktop.
Equally true, although they would all be far too modest to admit it, was that Director Clavell also treasured his staff. Each was exceptional, in their own unique way, and, as such, indispensable to the academic institution. Dendra, for example, was a remarkable athlete. Saguaro, “wholesome”, as the expression was used these days. Jacq, brilliant, although you would be forgiven for thinking otherwise on first impressions alone. Tyme, well…Tyme was… Tyme. And Raifort, a woman with an encyclopaedic knowledge of history and a flair for the dramatics.
So Clavell thought, as the last-mentioned woman stood before him, peering at him over her glasses.
“Lovely to see you,” he had said. “How can I be of assistance?”
“You might want to rethink that adjective,” she had countered, “after you hear what I’m about to say.”
Heavens, it was going to be a long day.
“I’ve had reports that students were seen entering the Zero Gate.”
Clavell’s eyebrows shot up. Perhaps he had been wrong to judge her after all.
“The Zero Gate?! Are you quite sure?”
“Well, it’s not like I’ve investigated myself, but you know what they say about smoke and fire.”
“No, quite right…”
Now Clavell felt judged, by the single hand resting on the history teacher’s hip, no less. He didn’t dare look up at the raised eyebrow he knew was there, and busied himself with examining the surface of his table as he pondered the proposition. If it was true, how could they have gotten in? The security on that door was first‑rate in the region, and he certainly hadn’t authorised any entries, not in the last five years at least. The only other person with enough clearance was—
Clavell sprang up.
If Raifort was surprised when Professor Turo’s icon appeared on the TV screen, she did not show it; or, perhaps, she was already one step ahead of him. What she could not be privy to, however, was the growing apprehension plaguing the man next to her that perhaps he already knew who it was that was seen crossing the forbidden threshold. Perhaps he knew from the moment he laid eyes on that strange Cyclizar. The day Turo had rather abruptly requested an audience with the new student.
Clavell shifted his weight from one foot to the other as the static image of his friend stared back at him. A familiar face, although one that reminded him with each passing year that time spared no one—not even the man whose energy seemed like it could burn forever.
The ringing came to an abrupt stop.
“PROFESSOR TURO IS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE.”
Clavell tried to convince himself that it was probably nothing, that Turo was probably just busy (or on the loo, perhaps), but the pit of his stomach insisted otherwise.
“…I apologise for being abrupt, Ms Raifort, but I must go.” But not without forgetting his manners. “Thank you for bringing this to my attention.”
“You’re not planning on heading down there yourself, Director?”
There was no hiding from a woman wizened by human history. And yet, what could he do? Lead a group of teaching staff down into an active research zone? Ask the League and wait up to three working days for a response while there were children loose in Area Zero? No, if Turo had really achieved what he suspected, Clavell would have to see to this personally.
“Please advise Ms Tyme that the usual protocols apply in my absence. I should not be gone more than 24 hours.”
The Royal Swedish Ballet's Peter and Lotta-themed Nutcracker production has made me want to imagine other Nutcrackers themed to other classic children's books.
In particular, I've been imagining a Madeline-themed Nutcracker. It would combine the traditional Nutcracker plot with Madeline's Christmas, just as the Swedish production combined it with Peter and Lotta's Christmas.
It would start out with the plot of Madeline's Christmas: the eleven other girls and Miss Clavel all catch colds on Christmas Eve, so they can't go home from the boarding school for the holiday, and Madeline has to take care of them all.
During the Overture, the curtain would open on a Parisian street, and the girls would enter in their iconic two straight lines with Miss Clavel. Then there would be a short fantasy dance sequence, showing the girls imagining their families as they look forward to seeing them soon. Madeline would get particular emphasis, of course, and so would her parents in the fantasy. (Because, no, Madeline isn't an orphan. Her parents are alive and well in the books and in the earlier cartoons. The 1998 live action movie and the 1999 animated Madeline: Lost in Paris both made her an orphan, but this ballet is a separate canon.) But then, during the Overture's last bars, the eleven other girls and Miss Clavel would all gradually start sneezing, coughing, clutching their sore throats, etc.
The first scene proper takes place in the girls' dormitory, and show Madeline bustling from bed to bed, bringing the other girls tea, and giving some to the also-sick Miss Clavel when she comes in to check on them too. At one point she might stop to rest and gaze sadly at a photo of her parents. But then Pepito climbs up to the window and signals to her. (Pepito doesn't appear in Madeline's Christmas, but we need a mischievous little boy character to take Fritz's place in the Nutcracker plot.) They privately conspire together, then Pepito leaves, and a few moments later a knock is heard at the downstairs door, and Madeline goes to answer it. Then she reenters with Pepito, both dressed in special homemade costumes, and they invite the girls to put on their shawls and slippers and come downstairs.
The girls and Miss Clavel file down to the sitting room, where Pepito's parents and their servants from next door are just putting the finishing touches on a Christmas tree. Madeline announces that since they can't go home, they'll have a "Christmas at School" Party.
Happy dances proceed, with even Miss Clavel being persuaded to join in despite her initial shyness. At one point, though Pepito's "menagerie" of frogs, bugs, rats, etc. get loose from their cages and causes some funny chaos.
Suddenly, there's an unexpected knock at the door. Madeline answers it. Enter the Middle Eastern merchant/magician from the book of Madeline's Christmas, who is freezing and seeking shelter. He'll be taking the place of Drosselmeyer in this story. Madeline lets him in and warms him up with blankets and tea. As thanks, he performs a magic show for the girls and Pepito.
To fit the plot, I'll make the Magician into a toy merchant instead of a rug merchant. (I don't mind taking that liberty – after all, The Nutcracker, or Peter and Lotta's Christmas adds a romance between the charcoal-burner and the maid, when in the original book of Peter and Lotta's Christmas the charcoal-burner is a married man with children of his own.) Because it's Christmas, he gives each child a free toy from his supply. Madeline, of course, gets a nutcracker – maybe an especially French-looking soldier that resembles Napoleon. But of course mischievous Pepito tries to snatch it from her, and accidentally breaks it.
From this point on we follow the plot of The Nutcracker more closely. The party ends and everyone goes off to bed. But then Madeline sneaks downstairs in the night. She falls asleep holding her nutcracker, the Magician reappears, the room grows enormous, etc. But I don't think the enemy should be mice, because Madeline likes mice. Instead I think we'll use Pepito's menagerie of insects, bats, frogs, and rats, with a Rat King as their leader. This is why I included them in the earlier scene: to establish their existence.
To fight them, instead of the traditional toy soldier army, the Nutcracker would lead a mixed army of the other girls' dolls and stuffed toys, whose combat methods are unconventional but effective. Spunky Madeline will also play a more active role in the battle than Marie/Clara usually does.
After the Rat King is killed, the Nutcracker (played by an adult), will turn into a Prince who looks very much like Madeline's father, as we saw him in her fantasy and photo earlier. He'll be played by the same dancer and dressed in the same colors. Then, after the snowflake waltz (which will be much more urban than usual, with a theme of "snowfall in Paris"), he'll whisk Madeline away to the land of the Sugar Plum Fairy, who, of course, will resemble her mother. The Fairy will be emphasized as the Prince's love interest, from whom he's been separated ever since he was turned into a nutcracker. Instead of Marie/Clara's traditional dream of romance for herself, Madeline's dream of the Prince and the Fairy clearly reflects her longing to spend Christmas with her parents.
All the dances will play out as usual, although they might be themed to traditional French desserts and such. Since Pepito and his family are Spanish, I might also want their dancers to perform the Spanish dance, with Pepito providing comedy.
At the very end, we find Madeline still asleep downstairs on Christmas morning. Miss Clavel comes down, all well again and dressed, and then a knock is heard at the door. Miss Clavel answers it, and in come Madeline's parents to greet her just as she wakes up. The other girls' parents start to enter close behind them, and the girls file downstairs to meet them as the curtain falls.
Can someone please find a choreographer to help me bring this outline to life? :)
Moments I Will Never Forget From My First Time Playing Pokemon Scarlet
- Randomly seeing a pink fluffy Mareep in a pile of other Mareep. The excitement and then horror at realizing that shinies don't make sounds when they appear in the overworld. Wondering, hoping, and paying that was a glitch and they would eventually fix it
- Not realizing until days later that I had seen a shiny shroodle and also a shiny tadbulb, but I didn't realize they were shiny until I left the area and finally noticed all the others looked different from the ones I had seen; which is when I realized they were probably shinies so I looked up a shiny Pokedex. From that day on I committed many shinies to memory to correct my mistakes and also learned about spawn rates & how it works
- The first time I ran into a Paldean Taurus. Fucking RUN.
- The first outbreak I did being Cyclizar and hating every moment because of how fast they were, and having Tinkatuff's slow ass chase after them made me rage. I didn't find a shiny which is when I looked into shiny rates; but my team did gain 10 extra levels from ko'ing the whole outbreak which also pissed me off bc I was purposefully trying to stay under leveled. Also when I first realized outbreaks in this game were massively different from Legends Arceus.
- Speaking of Tinkatuff, the first time I saw Tink I knew I loved her and would always have her by my side. My OG team was Sprigatito named Bean Burrito, Quaxly named Sir Quaxalot, Fidough, Charcadet, Tink, and Pawmo. They are my most cherished friends and now all of them have the best friend ribbons 🥺
- The first time I ran into a Flamigo. Fucking RUN.
- Not following "Gym Order" and walking into the Quaking Earth Titan Great Tusk with an under leveled team and almost getting my ass handed to me- almost! But Quaxly came through in the end. One of the most iconic moments of my playthrough tbh
- Continuing out of "Gym Order" I fought Atticus without any good poison counters. I had a flittle but it hadn't evolved yet so it was very frail and kept dying. Atticus kicked my ass so hard I still remember that battle anytime I hear the Team Star Boss Battle music. Around 2 minutes of that theme is when I was fighting his Revaroom on the brink of total annihilation, running through revives for my whole team which kept getting decimated. I believe Tink dealt the final blow. Top 10 moments of the game I will never forget.
- Clavell disguised as Clyde. Oh my god I love this man so much. I'd always call him on his bullshit just to see his reactions xD
- Calling very early on that either Penny was Cassiopeia or that Cassiopeia was the Team Star Boss. Feeling my suspicions growing stronger each time Penny appeared out of nowhere each time.
- Making Herba Mystica sandwiches for my asshole Koraidon. I could never refuse him 🥺 also probably the first time you meet Koraidon on the beach and all you can give him is a sandwich lmao
- Another "Out of Order" moment, I wandered up to Alfornada right after the first gym. Needless to say I was in over my head w my lv20's team vs lv45 wild pokes chasing me. But I didn't want to have to trek there again so I kept running, kept running, kept running, got lost because I couldnt jump very high nor could I fly or swim or any of that yet so I ended up jumping to that little sand route. Eventually I got to the cave leading up to Alfornada and kept running until I was finally out. But holy fuck, panic attack the whole mf time.
- What the FUCK is Bombirdier??? Is that.. Is that A STORK???? OH MY GOD. And why do they suddenly appear everywhere after you beat the Titan??? I remember thinking this thing looks cool.
-WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GIANT EARTH WORM??? oh it's named ORTHWORM???? WHAT THE FUCK IS HAPPENING THIS THING IS HUGEEEEEE. One of my favorite surprise moments.
- Doing classes! And actually learning cool things I never learned about Pokemon before like the battle calcs and stuff in Math! And then the teacher sidequests!! I felt very giddy the whole time and it was one of my favorite things to do!!
- Eventually realizing that Pawmo had another evolution and wondering how tf to get it to evolve. "go jogging w ur Pokemon pals" 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
- Dendra being Tulip's (wife) Gym Challenge. Dendra's storyline about being bad at cooking. Just. Dendra 😍
- BECOMING OBSESSED WITH BRASSIUS AND HASSEL and also the Easter eggs & homages to ORAS with the secret base decorations in Artazon.
- RHYME AND TYME ARE SISTERS???????????????????
- Near the end of the game I started procrastinating hard core because I was having too much fun and didnt want it to end. I had like 4 gyms left (Alfornada, Montenevera, Glaseado, and Medali), 2 Star Bases (Fairy & Fighting), and 1 Titan (dragon). It took me about a week to start playing again.
- Making my way to the Fighting Star Boss without doing the final Titan (which unlocks wall scaling) and I didnt know there was an actual path that led to that area either so I had to get creative. I scaled the entire mountain on my own and just kinda... Fell down the slope until I was in the right area. Fkn iconic, until later post game I came back and realized there was a whole path I could have taken instead 😭
- Finishing the Path of Legends and then figuring out we needed both Penny & Nemona to go down to Area Zero
- MY DUMB ASS NOT REALIZING THERE WAS A GATE IN MESAGOSA THAT LED TO THE POKEMON LEAGUE SO INSTEAD I SCALED THE WALL OUTSIDE THE CITY AND CAME UP THE BACK WAY. then I saw the gates and was like WHAT THE FUCK YOU MEAN THERE WAS A GATE, WHERE TF DID THAT COME FROM LIKE WHO PUT THAT THERE?????
- *clears throat* Rika. That is all.
- *clears throat again* Geeta. That is all.
- Penny being the Team Star Boss!!!! TEAM STAR'S ORIGINS!!! PENNY BEING THE PERFECT REPRESENTATION OF SOCIAL ANXIETY I HAVE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!! Penny becoming my favorite character 😭
- AREA. FUCKING. ZERO. The first time I got down there. And the music played???? I LEGIT CRIED. I had to stop playing because I was so overwhelmed with how beautiful it was. I couldn't pick the game up for another week because that Area Zero Theme had shocked me so much I was so obsessed with it. Definitely one moment I will never forget for my entire life.
- THE ENTIRE SAGA OF AREA ZERO. THE DIALOGUE BETWEEN ARVEN AND THE OTHERS IS ICONIC. As a victim of child abuse myself I felt his entire personality throughout the whole game was very accurate and relatable. But when he called out Penny for badmouthing her dad & Nemona for being raised like a spoiled princess, I was like yeah I recognize that bitterness, anger, sadness, and regret; and was very happy and surprised to see that kind of dialogue in a Pokemon game. I don't even think Lillie and Gladion had those kinds of moments in SM after dealing with Lusamine's bullshit their whole lives. Arven really solidified the storyline for me personally. Everything about him was so well written.
- THE BOSS FIGHT AGAINST AI SADA??????? I have this image in my head every single time I hear the VS Sada/Turo Theme-- the paradox pokeballs falling from the machine into AI Sada's hands, then she sends out Sandy Shocks, Slither Wing, and Roaring Moon-- I hadn't seen any of those yet. I had chills, legit goosebumps at this part and it's all I can think about anytime I hear the VS Sada/Turo Theme.
- also the first time AI Sada's text gets warbled!!!! Holy fuck that is such a stand out moment in my mind. Then it gets progressively worse and I love how AI Sada's text is full of inverted letters and symbols and omg it's such a great touch. One of the most iconic scenes for me.
- Finishing the post game, the teacher tournament, and seeing Penny's, Nemona's, and Arven's dorm rooms. Such a wonderful little touch.
- Being done with the story but still exploring the map & finding watch towers I have never been to yet 🥴 so far I've found 5 towers, just random ones that I missed. Love that tbh.
- And now I'm just doing raids & casual shiny hunts from time to time! Waiting for the DLC and contemplating starting a new game!!

Shōgun: The much-anticipated Japan-set show has finally landed.—Cosmo Jarvis as the English ship pilot John Blackthorne, whose vessel was wrecked upon the Japanese coast in the early 17th century. After losing his ship to a violent storm, the English navigator finds himself in an endless web of complex politics and power play in Japan and is forced to deal with the two most powerful men in Japan these days. He is thrown amid a war between Toranaga and Ishido, who struggle for the title of Shōgun which will give ultimate power to the one who possesses it.
The term shōgun, which means “general who quells barbarians,” is an ancient military term that was adopted in the twelfth century for the dominant warlord who held political and martial power in Japan while the emperor in Kyoto maintained his position as figural head of state and cultural leader.
The original Shōgun, a five-part miniseries based on James Clavell’s best-selling 1975 doorstop, was a massive hit when it aired on ABC in 1980. Nearly a third of American households tuned in to watch a cast led by Richard Chamberlain and the iconic Japanese actor Toshiro Mifune retell the tale of an English navigator’s adventures in feudal Japan. The series won three Emmys and three Golden Globes. The series and book triggered a wave of interest in feudal Japan.
Shōgun: The First Novel of the Asian saga. Set in the year 1600, it tells the story of a bold English pilot whose ship was blown ashore in Japan, where he encountered two people who were to change his life: a warlord with his own quest for power, and a beautiful interpreter torn between two ways of life and two ways of love.
Shōgun is a 1975 historical fiction novel by James Clavell, set during the late Sengoku period in Japan. It serves as the first novel in the internal chronology of the author's Asian Saga. A notable best-seller, by 1990 the book had sold 15 million copies worldwide.
About the author
James Clavell, the son of a Royal Navy family, was educated in Portsmouth before, as a young artillery officer, he was captured by the Japanese at the Fall of Singapore. It was on this experience that his bestselling novel KING RAT was based. He maintained this oriental interest in his other great works: TAI-PAN, SHOGUN, NOBLE HOUSE and GAI JIN.
Clavell lived for many years in Vancouver and Los Angeles, before settling in Switzerland, where he died in 1994.

Shōgun (2024)
The new Shōgun, whose two-episode premiere comes to FX and Hulu, is not a remake so much as a radical reimagining. Adapted directly from Clavell’s novel, this sprawling, 10-part historical drama takes a far broader view than its predecessor. The series will have a total of 10 episodes, releasing a new chapter every week following the premiere. The release of its first two episodes is on Tuesday, February 27th 2024.
Shōgun is a historical drama based on James Clavell's novel, focusing on English sailor John Blackthorne's experiences in Japan and the power struggle among various leaders. Pilot John Blackthorne, also known as Anjin-san, is the protagonist of James Clavell's 1975 novel Shōgun.
The novel is inspired by the real-life story of William Adams, an English sailor who travelled to Japan in the 1600s played a crucial role in Japan's overseas trading, and rose to high rank in the service of the shōgun. The series follows fictional Englishman John Blackthorne's (Cosmo Jarvis) transforming experiences and political intrigues in feudal Japan in the early 17th century. Shōgun assigns details to characters that match their historical counterparts and has influenced other works, such as video games and films.
Hiroyuki Sanada headlines Shōgun as Lord Yoshii Toranaga. The Japanese actor and world-renowned martial artist is most known for his roles in films such as John Wick: Chapter 4, Bullet Train, Mortal Kombat, 47 Ronin, Army of the Dead and The Last Samurai . Shōgun isn't his first foray into television either, having appeared in Season 3 of The Last Ship, Seasons 2 and 4 of Westworld, and Season 6 of Lost.
With Shōgun, for the first time after more than three decades of work in his nearly 60 years of acting, the icon Hiroyuki Sanada took on the project of a lifetime. He received his first-ever producer credit on the show, painstakingly poring over every detail of the production’s lavish, nuanced portrait of feudal Japan. And he found himself giving a performance unlike any he’d given before.
To this end, actor Hiroyuki Sanada was brought on board not only to play the lead role of wise, strategic Lord Yoshii Toranaga, but also as an executive producer. Sanada, a major star in his native Japan, has enormous experience in period dramas there.
The main cast of Shōgun also features Cosmo Jarvis, British actor playing the lead in the series, which was shot over 11 months in Vancouver. Jarvis featured in Ridley Scott’s sci-fi series Raised By Wolves, as well as Peaky Blinders, where he was the tragic, shell-shocked Barney, part of the plot to assassinate Oswald Mosley.
Cosmo Jarvis, as John Blackthorne, his bestial and brooding, vibe couldn’t be any more different from Richard Chamberlain’s slickness. When John Blackthorne’s beleaguered ship drifts into a Japanese harbour where his ailing crew are taken hostage, he finds himself first used as a pawn in the local power struggles, before being appointed a samurai complete with his own army.
Anna Sawai (Monarch: Legacy of Monsters) as Toda Mariko, Tadanobu Asano (Thor) as Kashigi Yabushige, Hiroto Kanai as Kashigi Omi, Takehiro Hira (Gran Turismo) as Ishido Kazunari, Shinnosuke Abe (13 Assassins) as Toda Buntaro. Moeka Hoshi as Usami Fuji, Tokuma Nishioka as Toda "Iron Fist" Hiromatsu, Yasunari Takeshima (Silence) as Muraji, Yuki Kura as Yoshii Nagakado, Fumi Nikaido as Ochiba No Kata, Tommy Bastow (EastEnders) as Father Martin Alvito, Yuka Kouri as Kiku, Yoriko Dōguchi as Kiri No Kata, and Ako (30 Rock) as Daiyoin / Lady Iyo.
Shōgun is Epic! Strap yourself in for a wild adventure in feudal Japan. This lavish adaptation of the classic samurai novel is a beautiful, intellectual fare that amply rewards your full attention. But be warned: it’s gruesome from the get-go. Highly recommended if you enjoy top tier drama 🎭
“Shōgun” is created for television by Rachel Kondo & Justin Marks, with Marks serving as Showrunner and Executive Producer alongside Michaela Clavell, Edward L. McDonnell, Michael De Luca, and Kondo. The series is produced by FX Productions. “SHŌGUN” PREMIERES EXCLUSIVELY ON DISNEY+ IN THE UK AND IRELAND TODAY 27th FEBRUARY 2024.

[Amazing. This day is amazing. This is what Florian has decided. Refreshing after the chaos of the last weeks of the treasure hunt. Purely by accident, too.
That's good. He could get used to this-- watching his friends grow more confident and feel more safe.
That is his train of thought until he is miserably interrupted by his weird little poryphone (that.. phone still confuses him) making an equally weird little noise.
Less of a normal phone sound and more of a screech, if you would.
Florian grabs it from the air desperately, trying (and failing) to stop it from floating around in his face. The extremely tiny little notification bar shows a teensy little message icon.
That is, a message from Clavell, beginning with the slightly uncomfortable, probably very terrible, "I hate to ask this of you at this time..."
The only reason Florian had Clavell's phone number was because of "Clive", really, and he had a bad feeling as to why he was being messaged at... whatever time now was (the sun was further down than he'd initially realized.--)
Not wanting to interrupt.. all of this, he acts normally and tries (and fails, once again) to open the full message and read it.
The message, in length, continues with "...but I need an important favor of you all."
Great.
Amazing.
Whatever other sarcastic words for such a situation snapped out of Florian's mind before he could actually grasp at them, and he decides whatever this "important favor" is, it's probably not actually going to be that crazy, so he decides he'll deal with it in the morning.
This can happen in other cases too. I think this was actually a mod.... (Ah yes, River is dreaming of something)
Talking about River, during the years I don't remember seeing River in many gameplays of other Simmers. I know Holly and Lisa were common. Bebe sometimes too.
I found the eyes funny 🤩
I'm probably capable of remembering half of my classmates' names. With pictures it's probably easier for me to identify them from professional school back to 3/4th grade maybe? All Sunset Valians of the base game I can list them down without needing pictures.
The images look hideous the ore I look at it. (Gotta love seeing Lisa with those firecracker things inside the house. It's totally canon 😆)
Most of the drama I do contains random "vanishing" Sims or ruining Sims' love lives.
Why is there even a cheerleader outfit?
If she wasn't eating, I could sell this as Mermaidman's invisible car.
Who needs to carry a stool anyway? (Eco, you idiot they have a backpack capable of fitting 30 cars, 20 drumsets, 10 books and a Italy. It's the equivalent of a boy's pocket)
This is literally the truth, most of the jeans for women/girls have decor pockets, because.....they're useless I guess.
Nah I wasn't over yet. I just realized, I should have left this in the previous post, but it's alright. (Bonus question: Can you recognize the SIms behind the costume? 😎It's probably too obvious 😐)
Well, I heard this from comments on Youtube under the Simlished Song "Na Na Na" I would do the same, if I were able to sing.
So beautiful 😍 But my heart belongs to Xander Clavell with Ayesha Ansari 🤠🥺
OH, I read this theory on the Sims WIkia and actually......it would make sense, eventually? Or not eventually? My head also hurts and I think I wrote nonsense here, but there is a theory of TS2 Kaylynn being the daughter of Parker Langerak.
VIDEO CAPTION: Me picking a teenage girl to play with.
Alternate titles:
Me looking for a love interest
Me looking for a main superheroine protag
Me looking for someone to piss off
Me looking for someone to give the life she deserves
Me looking for a cameo to use in fanfics
Ok actually that was meant to be the last meme, but as this clip of Greg's diary is going around Instagram, etc. I have my outtake 😂 This was me after returning to Sims 3 after the pandemic started.
EDIT: I forgot these two pictures 🤣
That moment reminded me of specific scenes from iconic movies.
