Today Inktober had me sitting in the rain with pencil in hand as the sky darkened spending a delightful 20 minutes or so sketching the chickens of Callis Community Gardens. I worked until the page was too damp to draw on then ran home to dry off and ink. And drink tea, obviously. #inktoberprompts #inkandwater #inktober2018 #chicken #chickens #chickenpictures #energeticgrace #worms #wormpictures #autumn #fall #mushrooms #mushroompictures #fallenleaves #fabercastellpens #fabercastell #reservoirpen https://www.instagram.com/p/Bokaup_Bw3T/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=153rq00l1cqu1

My grandmother taught me this. She always used oranges, but any citrus fruit works well. Every now and then she would grind up the peel down the disposal, and I always remember the sink smelling a little like oranges.
