It's time for my 2000th post celebration!

It has been a lot of fun getting to this point! Thanks to those who have stuck around over the years and to newer followers as well.

Rather than making this purely focused on One Piece, I thought it may be fun to look back at the beginning of this blog, and give a bit of spotlight to the transitions it has been though up to this point.

I began this blog back in April of 2020, mainly out of an interest in keeping up with artists who were creating AU fan comics of Steven Universe, a show I began while it was in the middle of airing its fourth season, and caught up to soon after. Three fan comics I especially enjoyed reading were a White Diamond Steven AU by Chekhov, a comic where Steven has a sister(Twiniverse,) and a special shoutout to makingfriendos/court and snidy for being a great source of joy and whimsy with their SU art back then, being the creators of one of the first fan comics I really delved into.

The comic they worked on, Steven Universe B-Sides, focused on the trio of Lapis, Peridot, and Bismuth being Steven's guardians and is a joy to read. Captured the essence and humor of season one very well.

In fact, one of their drawings is the origin of the original name of this blog "showergelfan." Sourcing to a lovely doodle they drew of Peridot not understanding human cuisine and thinking that a shower gel recipe was acceptable for human consumption.

Moving forward a bit to September of 2020, Steven Universe had finished airing a few months ago and I shifted into mainly focusing on Amphibia and Owl House around the time, both shows having very active fan bases during their runs(shoutout to the-lone-witch-and-secret-room for being a cool and friendly presence within the Owl House fandom during the show's air.) Amphibia especially resonated with me for its humor, characters, and fun to explore world. Frogs being one of my favorite animals gave it a boost too.

A few other cartoons found their way into the mix as well, namely Hilda and Infinity Train. Both also good shows which I still recommend. I didn't explore fan works for these shows as much I did with Steven Universe, though enjoyed them all none the less.

Then finally, around August/September of 2021, I began the most recent and current focus towards One Piece from then on, with the name switch to fallensnowfan and greater attention to Kiku and friends happening in July of 2022. Being in part due to discovering the blog of cool friend basedkikuenjoyer around that time. Hi!

Going to conclude this celebration post with a small section dedicated to the much anticipated episode 1084, directed by Kenichi Takeshita, and the episodes he has worked on previously:

These comics are drawn for my WD!SU Traditional Chinese translate blogs. Last year while WD!SU’s original author Chekhov is on hiatus, I made a post to receive my readers’ requests. One day I got a request for “Canon!Steven meets WD!SU Pink Diamond”, but since the timeline of Chekhov’s WD!AU is based to canon show, I thought it was make more sense if “WD!SU Rose meets Canon!Steven”. And here are the comics. Actually the memories scenes are hard for me because I’m not used to draw abstract things, but I finally done and hope those are not hard to read.😅

Analyzing the 5 plays in this drama club poster .From the bts pics of stranger things 4.

So... some of ya’ll know I'm going through the st s4 films given to us by the official st twitter + the films reffed in the show itself or mentioned by the Duffers in interviews .

So I decided to look at the plays mentioned here. Because even if we don't see the monologues in the show directly - the Duffers wouldn't name drop anything unless it inspired them in some way. Similar to films name dropped in the show. Tw : for some dark themes .

This is just a quick little analysis I decided to do since we probably won't get any new st content today (3/22). Nothing too deep. Just mentioning things that caught my interest especially cause these plays have a lot of narrative connections to the st s4 movies I've been watching.

Invitation to a march (Authur laurents)

Reminds me of the stancy/jancy love triangle. "A young woman is having second thoughts about doing the right thing and marrying a respectable , rich, kind, young man with good prospects.By way of a prewedding diversion, this woman becomes interested in the passionate but poor and entirely unsuitable son of a local landlord.Basically, the plot concerns the efforts of Norma Brown to choose between a conventional fiance who "puts her to sleep" but is wealthy (like what her own mother did) or go for this new-poor guy. The play is principally interested in how this youthful love triangle affects the three mothers involved (whether the kids like it or not)

12th night (Shakespeare)

- viola (el) wrongly assumes a family member (hopper) is dead. She dresses up as a man named 'cesario'. A girl named Olivia falls for 'cesario' (violet dressed as a man). "Finally, when 'Cesario' and Sebastian (violet's twin brother: assumed to have drowned - Will) appear in the presence of Olivia there is more wonder and confusion at their physical similarity. Taking Sebastian for 'Cesario', Olivia asks him to marry her, and they are secretly married in a church. Cough if Olivia is 'straight' cause she fell for Viola (as a doppleganger dressed like her twin brother).Mike being into el who multiple characters in s1 said looked like a boy and specifically like Will is...suspish and a hint he's not straight lol. just like Olivia they're both into guys . plus, this play just has a butt load of love triangles (ugh i hated that aspect). There was also romantically coded letters (which was in the s4 films) . One character is also thrown into an insane asylum and framed as 'insane'.'Pretending that Malvolio is insane, they lock him up in a dark chamber. Feste visits him to mock his insanity'. We all know the psych hospital will be narratively important- talked about it more here.

The seagull (Anton Chekhov-russian)

similar to how I believed s4 will show m*#even already broken up since the months between s3-4 : act 3 (s3) ends with Nina begging for one last chance to be with Trigorin before he leaves/moves away. They kiss and make plans to meet again in Moscow.And in act 4 there's a timeskip where it shows they've been broken up for a long time between acts- and its established they never actually loved eachother. Do i even have to spell out why this parallels the m*#even ending in s3? There is also a play within the play (this is common in a lot of the st films- they have plays- or a story within a story- which illustrate certain themes or emotions of the characters within said film : blackswan, children of paradise, highschool musical, Rushmore, book of Henry, welcome to marwen, never ending story, romancing the stone, wet hot American summer, etc).The play is Konstantin's latest attempt at creating a dense symbolist work. There is also alot of love triangles in the seagull. TW!: for se#ual ab*se/su*cidal thoughts/ inc*st (here and in other play segments). The seagull motif reminds me a lot of Jonathan's rabbit story.Konstantin romantically into Nina shows up to give her a gull that he has shot. Nina is confused and horrified . Trigorin sees the gull that Konstantin has shot and muses to Nina on how he could use it as a subject for a short story: "The plot for the short story: a young girl lives all her life on the shore of a lake. She loves the lake, like a gull, and she's happy and free, like a gull. But a man arrives by chance, and when he sees her, he destroys her, out of sheer boredom. Like this gull." This immediately reminded me of jon's rabbit story and some of the movies on the s4 list . Like in forrest gump- Jenny (who is poor) was se*ually ab*sed as a very young girl by her father. As a child she runs away into a field-away from her alcoholic father yelling at her -there she prays that she can "be a bird so I can fly far far away" .

Jenny as an adult struggles with this unresolved trauma- being with ab*sive partners, doing dr*gs, and having su*cidal thoughts . She as an adult when contemplating su*icide, jokes 'you think i can fly like a bird ?' while looking down at a bridge.God-i'm worried about jonathan (Jenny was also a musician sort of like jon). In another s4 movie example ' mystic river ' :(in the 80s) a preteen baseball playing boy is r*ped by men in the woods. He later says he wishes he could become an undead monster to not feel the pain of that experience - cause quote " if I'm not human anymore maybe the pain will stop" (Will) . slightly off topic but he also has another personality, imagines a alternate word that dissappears when he turns his head. And as a less direct animal parallel to the play - the boy from the film also imagined his perpetrators as monsters and wolves to cope.In 'getout' the photographer character sees a dead deer in the woods and it represents a parent/his own childhood tra*ma relating to his past. similarly in 'prince of tides' the 2 siblings as kids were ra*ed by men. The older brother remembered it and the younger sibling developed DID (so didn't remember but she would draw wolves- as the perpetrators/villains in her picture stories she created . In the film they also had an ab*sive dad and were very poor. She also tried k*ling herself multiple times-but started to get better after remembering the source of her pain and trauma. There is also the theme of multiple attempted su*cides in the play- and the play ends with yet another attempt- and the audience is left unaware of the artist's fate at the end of the play.

The tempest (Shakespeare)

Prospereo - (the perceived antagonist) is a wizard with monstrous looks, storm powers , and ability to create monster-dogs

He wants revenge on a man who tried ra*ing his family member & revenge on his other family member who wronged him years ago. I mean... pretty much my did theory.But in the end.Prospero decides to show his enemies the mercy that they did not show him twelve years earlier. He tells Ariel to bring the men to him, he will restore their sanity and then renounce magic forever.Prospero breaks the spell that the men are under .

Diary of a scoundrel (Alexander Ostrovsky-Russian)

- I suppose this could loosely relate to Jonathan? Glumov, is a young man from an impoverished family lacking status seeking entrance into society's pampered class. A 19th-century Russian scoundrel must scheme his way out of his meager life in a small apartment -whatever it takes.He has a quick mind and some talent for seeing through the hypocrisies of people around him ( Jonathan does make a lot of social critiques about society). That gives him some advantages. A tale of one man's mission to finagle his way into upper-class society and find a cushy job. Set in 1874, this social comedy follows Glumov, a Russian youth who begins his ambitious ascent to social esteem. He progresses by wit, guile and rhetoric. Pitting one stupid person against another, he soon gains his ends. To reach these goals, Glumov will lie, flatter, and cater to the vanities of the wealthy. Unable to contain his disgust with his victims, Glumov decides to relieve his unvoiced satirical comments by recording his schemes in a diary. But he is tripped up by his uncle's wife, to whom he has made passionate love on his way to success. At the end of the play, his diary is stolen and his duplicity exposed, but he can nevertheless suceeds. The author is much more critical about the high society itself than about the main character, so the play keeps attracting generations of directors by opening possibilities for political criticism while also avoiding naming names of the current rulers.The play's aim was to overthrow bourgeois tradition and establish a class-conscious art called eccentricism giving a deliberately comic portrayal of reality.

I suppose I notice some possible commonalities- besides s3 critiquing the wealthy/capitalism in comedic ways . jonathan since s1 has worried about his family's finances / had some resentment toward the rich . In some of the s4 movies ‘orphan’ & ‘ girl interrupted’ someone reads their diary out loud to get at them (in girl interrupted the winona character’s diary even had critiques of her new friends). Alot of movies also have someone (usually a teen/young adult) making a documentary about their life -which could narratively replace said diary? A few movies have a poor guy adjusting to snobby rich social circles (or being poor and then getting money)- titanic, kingsmen, karate kid, the craft , godfather, wardogs,into the spiderverse,flashdance, and many others . And movies like wardogs has a poor-young-character do shady things to finacially support his family . There’s also that whole uncle’s wife thing- which makes me uncomfortable for obvious reasons (but I’m just thinking of Lonnie’s creepy gf who was into him). A few movies had the guy’s step mom innappropriately hit on him- orange county & you got mail. And him trying to avoid her advances. Or...not to mention ... it may be a problematic coincidence /trope. But in enter the void -the guy who needs to finacially support his sibling/ does dr*gs -hooks up with his dr*g dealing friend’s married mom (who would give him money). Or in gilbert grape- the poor teen-who has to finacially support his siblings/single mom-has his endgame relationship be a girl his own age. But before that he h*oked up with a married woman -who would give him money. Don’s plum -young film guy-propositioned by older female film director (for dream job). Not even mentioning the other films that have the guy hooking up with toxic older women (like ‘the graduate’). Or analyze this-where the therapist accuses him of having an Oedipus complex (not touching that one... but the guy in ‘enter the void’ a 100% had one). It’s possible those movies were just- inspo for s3? A coincidence? Or s3 was foreshadowing for this in s4- but unlike s3 it will accurately be played as wrong and a sign of Jonathan recreating past tra*ma caused by Lonnie (cough like the photos) /being desperate for money. And not played ‘comedically’ like how it mostly was in s3. But shown as self destructive (for Jon) and immoral on the Woman’s end. Like... Billy and Jon are character foils. Both are older siblings into rock music, with ab*sive dads who shoved them into walls. Both lose it (and beat steve to a pulp when Steve accidentally triggers their daddy issues). In s3 it’s established womanizer Billy has mommy issues, than he tries ho*king up with someone his mom’s age, and the characters ref ‘back to the future ‘ and Steve incorrectly says it’s about “alex p keaton trying to bang his mom.” This could illustrate his subconscious issues with parental figures/adults cause of Lonnie’s possible past se*ual ab*se . One film the friend even says to the guy “you don’t have friends!” guy b: i have friends! him: no you have acquaintances! ADMIT IT! YOU’RE AFRAID OF MEN!I mean-Jonathan liked Nancy- but he initially hooked up with her cause he wanted to prove he didn’t have ‘trust issues’ from his dad. Also it’s prob a bit of a reach (and maybe a coincidence)- but the fact Murray in the same breath compares Steve (Nancy’s then bf) and Lonnie ... uh... if you think too long about it ... it’s very sinister . Especially because in s3: muray tells Joyce that despite her wanting to be with a nice guy, she’s curious about “the brute” Hopper despite him reminding her of a past “bad relationship”(aka Lonnie). Like- yeah connect some dots. Quite a few films (other than forrest gump) also have the character who (as a kid) was r*ped by their dad/parent- begin to do dr*gs/be pr*miscuous as adults since they never learned to properly cope with their trauma (’girl with the dragon tattoo’, ‘black swan’, and ‘magnolia’). Unfortunately the whole relative doing such things to kid-relatives is in at least 30+ movies.

Personally, i would be MUCH happier if Jon had a age appropriate romance- and had not a single creepy adult near him. A few movies actually imply Lonnie gets yet another ‘new model’ replacing his gf in her 20s with a new gf- who is ‘barely l*gal” and just turned 18. so there’s that possibility as well- that she’s jonathan’s age.I just want Jonathan-happy &safe. GOD. IS THAT TOO MUCH TO ASK?

I respect your resolve to keep the spoiler plotpoints a secret, despite the insistence of some fans. I'm curious though, do you have friends who know about your comic? And have you been just as tight-lipped about the story's future with them?

Honestly, none of my irl friends watch SU. I used to have a few who were interested in it but I don’t believe they read my comic. I don’t talk to anyone about my art because none of them are super interested in it beyond the surface level of ‘oh, hey, Chekhov can draw. Can you draw our DnD characters? Can you draw me a t-shirt design?’

Anyway, the point is, there ARE a few people who know spoilers for the comic - a few online friends, to be precise - but it’s not EVERYTHING, it’s just little pieces I’ve chosen to reveal in order to ask their opinion on it. For the most part, I don’t talk about the comic outside of this blog.

Welcome to ReformAUtion Week, a series where I design an entire regeneration till the current episode for an AU character

Episode 2 : Honorary Rebel

This weeks Character : Earl (au belongs to @ask-whitepearl-and-steven )

Now Earl was a little harder to do. We don’t have much info about Pink Pearl in SU, and we don’t know where Chekhov is going 👀 But we know something for sure : Earl WILL be fully released from Steven’s control.

I imagined Earl wouldn’t go to missions since she doesn’t really have a weapon. And training with a Holo Pearl would be a bad idea. So I suppose she’ll later train with Steven. And I can imagine her weapon being a gun >:) . So I only made her 2 reformations.

I can imagine her hearing about Pink’s demise and Rose’s secret and poof instantly. And we go to reformation 2.

And everything else happenes, but it won’t be White who’s doing since we have White Steven, but it would be both Yellow and Blue. Steven lears to control his powers and Earl is free

Now the final drawing for the design I liked the most.

How much do you draw for day? Asking because your art got much better (not to say the previous drawings were bad). Conglatu-freaking-rations.

TLDR; I only draw for the comic and my commissions/Patron Requests, and the following is a long, drawn out, rambling answer about how I don’t put as much effort into my comics as I’m capable of and also a small chronicle of where I started and why I’m making such quick progress.

Firstly I want to thank you for the compliment! I tend to not like comments like this because people compare my earliest pages to my latest ones and I’ll get to why I don’t appreciate that so much in a minute, but I do think I’m improving, and I can actually show that improvement now! Look at this glow up: (heck I didn’t even draw Steven in this first one lmao)

So, as for your question, honestly, I’m a terrible person to look to for being a good artist role model, because I never draw. I only draw for the comic and my Patreon requests (and the few commissions I get) and for the comic? Well, I don’t put out my best work for that. I draw at 100%, I only do one terrible sketch, and then lineart the finals directly over that. I don’t do warm up sketches. I just don’t draw.

Part of the reason I’m getting so much better is that I used to draw. I used to draw every day, constantly, so so much, every day, every year, until 2012. Then I hit a rough patch and I just stopped altogether. I actually didn’t start drawing again until I started Twiniverse! So, I took a 7 year break from drawing. I do not recommend this. I’m re-learning everything I knew, and it’s going quicker than it would take someone who’s new to drawing altogether, but it’s still a rough process!

So I’m already aware I’m kind of rambling but I really want to be clear, there’s three reasons the earliest pages of Twiniverse suck: I took a 7 year break, I never tried to make the pages look halfway decent- they only took about 30 minutes or less per page!!!, and I was starting with an entirely new style to me. Back when I was doing art regularly, I was strictly an anime artist. I had to re-learn how to draw and re-learn in SU style!

This was one of my last (and most complex drawings ever) pieces that I did back in 2012 before I quit:

And while there’s obviously some issues with it, I think it was pretty darn good. Compare it to my first Steven Universe style stuff, after a 7 year break? I definitely lost a good amount of progress that I’m only now gaining back by working on this comic.

Also, like, hooray for comics? Even if I’m not drawing every day, comics are an amazing way to learn how to draw more quickly. Even if I never put my best effort into my comics (I sure as hell didn’t at the beginning, and honestly while I’m doing better now you can tell I’m not doing my best) I’m still learning to get better with things like... poses and hands and stuff. So like, I prefer people to compare pieces I’m actually trying on (like, compare the banner to the Tapas cover!) but it is true that the comics are getting better as I get more comfortable with the Steven Universe Style.

FINALLY, I have to give a big thank you to some of my other artist friends. Particularly @thechekhov and @trapdoornumberthree because when I really get stuck with a pose, or I really need help with hands, or I just want a fresh eye to look at something I think is kind of weird, they and other friends will help me with those things. Having someone look at your work, sometimes redlining what looks weird to them, and just in general offering feedback about your layouts or whatever, can make so much difference as opposed to flying blind. If you look carefully, you will actually be able to see a pretty big improvement in my art just from Cry in the Dark to Mirror Gem, and I can tell you exactly where that happened. In Cry in the Dark, Chekhov helped me with two panels I was really struggling with- the panels where Ronaldo asks “Nora” about being able to see, followed immediately by a scream. And having Chekhov’s sketch to work off of made something click in my brain about how I was drawing faces and expressions. When Mirror Gem comes out on Monday, I guarantee you’ll see some pretty good progress in the expressions category. Having friends makes all the difference in the world!

So... in conclusion... yeah, I’m improving! And thank you so much for noticing! But it’s not because of drawing every day, it’s because I’m making a comic, because I had somewhat of a decent artistic background to start with but I’m just starting over with a new style, and because I have some great friends helping out =)

if youre referencing back to the Bad prediction au tv trope page i found that in a surprising way considering i was just looking through some google images for some SU canon references and scrolling down found the pic on TV tropes which is Chekhovs drawing that someone colored and me seeing the title link to tv tropes i had to click and look

~Klaus POV~

After (Y/N) disappeared into her apartment I walked a block down the street to my house. I would say home but it was in no circumstances a home. I got to my fire escape and climbed up, getting into Ben’s room, who was still up, reading a book. He was fixed on The Bet at the moment, by Anton Chekhov. He was reading Frankenstein yesterday meaning he had already finished it. It only took the boy two days which was really something seeing as how every chapter Ben would excitedly, and sometimes exasperatedly ranted about whatever happened in the chapter yet didn't give any spoilers, not that I would be reading Frankenstein anytime soon. Unless it was the picture book version because that was a lot easier to read. Ben looked up and his eyes lit up when they landed on me.

“We have to go to that restaurant more.” That was odd, Ben normally wouldn't request a restaurant and definitely not as soon as possible. He would be kind of shy about it and beat around the bush but when he was really passionate or just in the moment he let it slip out.

“You got the waffles?” Klaus asked. He watched Ben’s facial features, something had to give the boy away, right? Ben’s face got a faint pink glow and he coughed slightly, scratching the back of his head, his head tilted. Right.

“Well, the uh, waitress was interesting too. She was kinda mean but she seemed sweet. But the waffles dude.” He said, attempting to change my attention to the delicious waffles, the blush still present.

“Who was your waitress? And the waffles were good today but when (Y/N) makes them they're real good.” I said, taking one of her sayings and watching him react. He didn't seem to notice, instead folding his book a few times.

“I didn't get her name.” He said honestly, flipping his book so it was showing the title. Aw little Ben has a crush! On my best friend though. But he's my favorite sibling. But then she’d ditch me for him. But I love him. But I love her. I’m getting ahead of myself, they don't even know each other yet. Pros and cons, currently pros outweighing cons.

“Well my best friend is coming over tomorrow so be on your best behavior.” I said, rolling off his bed and going to the closed door.

“Who’s your best friend? Is it the kid who brings you donuts? Do they know about us?” Ben asked. Normally I would give my favorite a response of some sort but I didn't want him to know so I shut the door and went across the hallway to open my door. Ben was lucky he had access to the street down below but that also meant he would be the first (Y/N) would be meeting, nothing wrong with that but sometimes both Ben and (Y/N) were shy. I collapsed on my bed and stared at the ceiling before passing out.

Sunday, your POV

I woke up and groaned. I was so tired but my inside clock decided I just had to be up. I didn't even have work today and I knew once I was up I would not be able to go back to sleep so I decided to go find Klaus earlier than normal. The poor boy was sort of an insomniac, mainly because he had vivid nightmares he didn't normally tell me about. As soon as I finished brushing my teeth I opened my closet to see Klaus searching my clothes. I normally would have kicked him or at least swiped a punch in his direction but I had a feeling he would be here in the morning so I didn't bother.

“You have no clothes!” He said rather emotionally which made me roll my eyes. He was in a closet that had a few good options.

“You have most of my clothes at your house so I don't know what you mean. Plus I have a few good options.” I said, folding my arms and glaring at him as he threw my clothes around. He tossed some skirts my way and ended up hitting me in the face with a sweater.

“This will do, go put it on. I won't peak.” I huffed and picked up the dark (F/C) high waisted skirt and the lighter colored sweater that went really well together and silently cursed him for being so good at picking clothes. I went into the bathroom down the hall and changed, glaring at how nice I looked in his stupid outfit. I walked back in and he clapped before throwing black thigh high socks at me. I rolled my eyes and slipped those on before passing him and pulling a (prefered color) and black flannel out of my closet, throwing it on over.

“You just ruined it.” He complained in a whiny voice.

“It's cold though.” I said with a shrug, walking over to the window and opening it easily. I knew all the lights were off and seeing as I had my wallet in my pocket I was chilling. I climbed out and Klaus grumbled behind me, going on about how I had ruined his amazing outfit. I ignored him and when my feet touched the ground I turned and put my arms out to help him down and he was about to accept since he always did until he realized he was mad at me. He hopped down and let out a little grunt as he stumbled. I steadied him and he forgot he was mad at me again, wrapping his arms around me and starting to drag me to his home. We walked for a good while, Klaus pulling me into Griddy's after the twenty minute walk.

“If this is your house I have a few things to say. One, why do you have me bring you donuts if you live here. Two you can always live with me.” I said easily, opening the door for him.

“So mean, I just want to treat you to a donut.” He said, pulling out some crumbled dollar bills. Agnes came out and Klaus quickly ordered two donuts but if I was being honest I didn't want one, I had had a lot of donuts lately and it was making me think of Five who was sort of getting on my nerves. Not in a bad way but thinking about him made me realize he was a little shit. I accepted Klaus’s sugar donut and followed him out the door.

“After you finish your donut I have to blindfold you because my house is a surprise.” We got to the park and I had finished the donut making him take off his fashionable scarf and tie it around my eyes so I couldn't see. He spun me a few times walked forward spun me a few more times then we started up again.

“So, anything I need to know or is this just a house tour?” I asked, holding onto Klaus for much needed support.

“The only one of my siblings you’ll be seeing today will probably be Ben. The best one.” Klaus said happily, dragging me around what I think is the park.

“That's cool, are we there yet?” I asked smelling the dirt and iron that came in alleyways.

“Yep! Mi casa es su casa! Welcome to the Klaus household!” He didn't let me take the scarf off and instead helped me up the iron ladder that reminded me of how I got to my room. He pushed me through the window and I yelped as I landed on a rather soft bed, someone in the room grunting. The makeshifts blindfold was taken off my face and I was met with a rather cute asian boy under my legs.

“Sorry to drop in on ya.” I said with a smirk, hoping he had a sense of humor.

“Are you Klaus's friend?” He asked, his face quickly going red. He was familiar.

“Yes she is and she needs to move.” Klaus said, popping up and kicking me out of the bed and onto the cold hard floor.

“So mean, Klaus.” I complained from the ground, admiring the room I was in. It was simple with a bookshelf being the main attraction. Everything was neat and I felt overdressed as fuck seeing as the boy was wearing a leather jacket and jeans, Klaus in his normal weird but stylish get up.

“Klaus, come on.” The boy said, dragging my bestie out the door and into the hallway, both stepping over me. I didn't mind it and instead went to look at the bookshelf. All of the books were interesting so I grabbed one that he was reading it seemed- The Bet by Anton Chekhov- and fell back onto his bed so I could read. I heard they were talking about me but nothing in my body made me eager to find out why. When I got to the fifth page the door opened and Klaus was there grinning, the boy behind him with his face still bright red.

“It’s nice meet you, my name Ben.” Ben muttered, his arms crossed and looking not at me. Broken english because of nerves I’m guessing- nothing a little humor can't fix.

“The pleasure is all mine.” I said with a grin, shutting the book and holding my hand out for a handshake. He shifted his weight a few times very quickly before uncrossing his arms and shaking my hand which made me light up. Klaus frowned and dragging me into what I assumed was Klaus’s room I couldn't process anything I was dragged so quickly.

“Welcome to my room, make yourself at home.” He said, falling onto his bed. I leaned against his desk as I took the room in, it was also simple but he had drawings all over his wall.

“I like it.” I said easily, looking around and seeing out of the corner of my eye from the small crack in the door that multiple eyes were watching us. I caught his attention and glanced over to the door which Klaus understood easily.

“My siblings aren't home so lets get to hanging out.” He said with a wink, pulling me onto the bed. I let myself be pulled and we landed on the mattress harshly. He started to make kissing noises and pulling out some lipstick we drew lipstick on each others lips. The door slammed open and four bodies tumbled to the floor.

“(Y/N) meet my siblings. The ones on the floor are Luther, Diego, Alison, and of course Ben- who you met. Vanya and Five are by the door.” Klaus said, lipstick smudges covering his face.

“Nice to meet you guys, Ben.” I said, winking at him. The boy blushed and Diego hit him.

“Can I just say I knew it? This is Klaus's girlfriend who gets us donuts all the time.” Five said smugly, leaning against the door frame. I sat up.

“I love Klaus but I could not be his girlfriend. But I will accept a ‘you’re welcome’ from any and all of you.” I said easily, standing up and almost falling down but instead being greeted by Ben tackling me to the floor in an attempt to keep me up. I hit the hardwood with a thump and Diego started laughing until a smack was heard and he shut up.

“I’m so sorry. This is my fault.” Ben got out as I rubbed my head, laughing slightly at what had happened.

“It's fine, just help me up.” I gasped, grinning up at Klaus who looked conflicted. Ben was pushed off of me and Klaus pulled my arm as hard as he could, basically launching me up onto the bed.

“Too kind. Anyways nice to meet you all you can all get going.” I said easily. The girl with long curly fair shook her head, scoffing.

“No, come over to my room.” She said, pulling me off the bed as Ben scrambled out of the way.

“I came here to hang out with Klaus so.” I said, attempting to reach for Klaus who looked sort of anxious at me being dragged away.

“Yeah but I want to hang out with you.” She said, her voice convincing but not enough.

“No thank you. I know I’m irresistible but my dance card is full- my best friend invited me.” I said, the words coming out of my mouth on the fly, Alison looking surprised. The door shut and now it was only Klaus and I in the room, Five had shut it angrily for the two of us.

“I love you.” Klaus said in the silence, jumping on me and kissing my forehead, the two of us laying on the bed, cuddling.

“I love you too Klaus, honest.” I said, not even fazed at his need for attention.

“You can date Ben, I won't even mind. I love you both so much.” He said, surprising me. I barely met Ben today, but he is cute, but how could Klaus tell I liked him so quickly.

“He is cute.” I hummed, petting his hair.

“You should get to know him- there’s a reason why he’s my favorite. Other than you.” He said, kissing my collarbone.

“Later. I wanna hang out with you today. Even if it's just cuddling.” I said, closing my eyes- tired.

“I can get behind that.” He said, the two of us just vibing and enjoying each other's company.
