I wanted to share this. This is my boyfriend, best friend, the love of my life, my world Justice. He’s struggled so much in his childhood and his adult life. He’s been kicked out of his home before, neglected, abused, ignored, treated like garbage and much more… his own parents have called the police on him… put him in jail before… Justice has fought substance abuse, and probably been on every drug known to man….. the picture of him on the left was him before.. 2020.. he was so depressed and the drugs were causing him to lose so much weight, motivation, and spirit in his eyes. He was almost down to 89 lbs……

The picture on the right is Justice now. :) he’s fought so hard, he’s gotten off drugs, he’s fought and fought to say no to addiction now. He’s had withdrawals, and gotten physically sick for days on end . Today he is 205 lbs, muscle, smiling more, laughing everyday, and he is definitely treated like a king!

Sometimes- it’s not about having someone who’s “already self made” sometimes you fall in love with those who need just a little help, a little more love, and more reassurance! Don’t give up on those who may struggle….. Justice went through it and now he’s doing amazing. I’m so proud of him!!!!! I wanted to share his before and after with tumblr!

Justice is currently getting a letter of recommendation written for him to go down south and is waiting to be accepted into the Phoenix House in Tampa! He is someone who has struggled with drug abuse since 2013… this will be his year to finally turn his life around and get his head back on right! He is ready for his journey to get his life together and having a second chance in life! I am so proud of him!!

Reminder to CHECK ON friends you haven't heard from in awhile, or you know is struggling, especially those who remove or delete accounts, take their stuff down from websites and attempt to remove themselves from the internet. DO NOT let them go, even if they might reject you. These are signs that the person is in danger of hurting themselves. Let them scream and cry, but you keep reminding them they matter. Don't leave them. Tell them you love them and you're there for them. Your friend is in a place where everything, including their perception, is warped. They may be dissociating. It's better to annoy the hell out of them reminding them they are WORTH it than it is to end up going to their funeral.

My friend just lost her nephew to his mind because when you feel like that, you know that it is the only right answer, you don't deserve to live, and you just want the pain to stop. You can NEVER be too careful.

It’s going to be a long weekend for me. 1 year ago was the last time I saw my mother in person. I spent Mother’s Day 2022 with her and I’m so thankful for those last hugs and laughs. My mother was full of Southern grace and beauty. And she was extremely private and until she was suddenly gone, I had no idea of all the pain and suffering she experienced over those last years. It’s incredible the secrets she kept to not be a perceived burden on her children. So much so, that in the end when she needed us the most, she wouldn’t ask for it. And today, my heart still breaks into a thousand pieces wishing she had given me the tiniest hint she needed me. I miss you, Mama. ❤️

Experienced a passing of a very distant person I knew, but a family member of mine was close to. It was self inflicted.

Please for the life of God check on your mentally ill friends and disabled friends. This world is cruel, especially right now, and to avoid a death spike drawn about by political and economic issues, we need to build community and be there for each other.

I'm vegging you, from one disabled queer person with a litany of mental illnesses with economic instability. We need help.

one thing that really annoys me is that im the only person in my friend group that comes from working class and has a single parent, like they plan stuff that cost alot of money and if i say oh well i cant do that they say just ask your mum for some money..
