NaNoWriMo 2023 is as crazy as ever. We're a lot more people participating this year in the Swisswrimo Discord than last year. The mood is good, everyone is writing like the world's end is near. I'm with my friend as usual and we comment on each other's story daily. That's why my word count is currently up on 45k. And that's insane. My story comes a long great. I'm so in love with the universe I'm creating. BUT . . . is has been a long time coming and I want to tell you now. My story I'm writing is not going to become a McDanno AU as I've planned it but it's going to become my very first orignial story, and I decided that I'm going to publish my story. The idea, the plot is great. I want it out in the world. I don't listen to the voices who try to tell me how difficult it is to get a book published. I'm doing it anyway and I'll find a way :-)

My first book is in the making, guys. I'm so excited. I changed all the characters, the location, everything. It's now a story about merpeople and the wonders of love. And my heart will always belong to Steve and Danny. I'll be back with new McDanno stories, once this huge project is done. Or maybe I'll need a break in betweeen, but the boys are forever tight to my soul.

We come closer to the heart of the matter if we reflect on the literal sense of the Greek term for repentance, metanoia. It is not self-hatred but the affirmation of my true self as made in God’s image. To repent is to look, not downward at my own shortcomings, but upward at God’s love; not backward with self-reproach, but forward with trustfulness. It is to see, not what I have failed to be, but what by the grace of Christ I can yet become."

Things not said often enough in this world

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
