i know I just reblogged a bunch of posts but this isnt a post just an observation: my phone keeps falling and I think its because they make these cases out of such weird exotic materials and plastics that you think you're putting your phone on a flat surface but 10 minutes later you hear your phone hit the ground and realize that its been sliding at a snails pace imperceptible to you and it moved 2 feet uphill across the desk just to fall.

I've been playing a lot of rain world and of course I had to make an iterator oc. Say hello to Clear Skies!
The Clear Skies Space Mission was originally intended to redirect a comet that was on an impact course. The comet ended up with a close and stable enough orbit for construction missions, and the material analysis deemed its composition sufficient to build and maintain an entire iterator. And so Clear Skies was adopted into the iterator project.
Clear Skies is fairly young, cheerful, and friendly, and is quite chatty for the few moments her orbit brings her close to her friends.
Now that her creators have left, CS "eats" leftover derelict satellites, catching them in her bubble, where they are harvested for the parts and materials she needs to keep herself going.
She occasionally sends the few resources she has an excess of to other iterators in need, but although she can drop things to them pretty easily, them sending anything back to her is exceptionally difficult. Some resources that she's in desperate need of are readily available on the surface.
On the rare instances where her perigee puts her between a full enough moon and one of her friends' cans, she will wave one of her giant arms.
Was extremely envious of the others getting to have slug cats, so she synthesized a bunch of her own from genome sequences. Most now reside in the nearly unused city built on her.
One of the exceptions being her loyal knight
I have whole side story for them where CS is under attack from a mutated miros bird that somehow temporarily disabled CS's basic function and ko'd the knight. The rescue team, not understanding that CS is far more than her puppet, brings back CS's disconnected puppet body as well as the unconscious knight. They do not know why CS is not waking up. To them, she's basically a god. She can't die... right?
The knight then has to carry the puppet all the way back, getting harassed by the monstrosity and having to take shelter from the periodic waves of extreme radiation. CS would fix it but the monstrosity is still inhibiting her functions. After reconnecting, CS is able to fix up the knight's signature energy spear, and the knight then can face off against the miros monstrosity.
Perks: can wear masks hands free, and they provide a tiny bit of armor, with higher tier masks giving more protection. Slightly better at carrying creatures of similar size.

If you know / have thought about it already, what's your god tier aspect for SBURB? If you dont, what would you say it'd be?
ive taken multiple tests over the years and never really found one that stuck. i think the one that i sort of solidified in the past was mage of space since i bought a space blanket and keychain. i got space when i did that official quiz for the first time but i’d like to take it again now. i feel both drawn to light and space now that i think about it as aspects. if i was light idk what class i’d be though. i relate to seer though, “one who knows aspect or knows through aspect”; the aspect’s analytic mouthpiece
i feel like im like the spitting image of the official light description
“Those bound to the aspect of Light are the universe's knowledge-seekers. They are, above all, driven to learn and understand. They are great alchemists, able to take multiple sources of information and synthesize them into something useful. They are scholars and researchers, absolutely dedicated to knowledge for knowledge's sake. but the non-canon descriptions of the aspects themselves i find myself drawn to light and space. not fully; i cant see myself fully in any of the aspects but these come pretty close.
“Light deals in exploration, knowledge, luck and relevance. It is the electron-microscope prying secrets from any crevice it can find just as much as it is the spotlight drawing attention to that which cannot physically be ignored. The path of this Aspect is well lit and certain. “Luck” here is the state of being consistently lucky or consistently unlucky. Light introduces certainty even in the places where chance should govern. When led astray the hunger for knowledge or relevance can quickly turn to unhealthy obsession. The idea that everything is meaningful, everything makes sense, can lead to crisis when the Light-bound finds no satisfying explanation behind their symbols. They may be entirely unable to deal with uncertainties, or the hunger for significance in the limelight might burn out their pupils. Curiosity may kill them like many a cat, or watering eyes which cannot close for even a second become their constant curse. At best though the light is a source of answers and a path towards genuine meaning.
Space is breadth, diversity, creation and creativity, birth, motherhood and preservation, but also loneliness and isolation amidst the vast cosmos. It can go anywhere because it already is everywhere, and there is a tendency to get distracted or sidetracked by the sheer number of options at its disposal, but the journey is usually more important than the goal to them anyway. The canvas is literally endless; go ahead and draw something. Space has a penchant for lateral moves, for the random and unexpected, all the fascinating points of interest which dot its habitual all-the-way-zoomed-out bird’s eye perspective. At their worst, the Space-bound are unfocused and ineffectual, abandoning projects as soon as the next thing catches their eye. Their often strange or hyper-specific interests can make it difficult for them to relate to people, only deepening the Space-bound’s characteristic isolation. At best though, the wide focus which their Aspect affords leads them to become brilliant multitaskers and masters of navigating the outside of the metaphorical box.

Some people call bunnies Vegan Cats, so I was wondering if you would provide some professions for these two fluffs even though their servant (aka Mommy, aka me) didn’t follow directions?
Morphi is the white bunny with eyeliner and beauty mark- cuddled between his two loves: bowl and DeDe. Short for Morpheus Lord of Dreams He is a bit…stupid - usually has nothing but elevator music playing between his ears. Occasionally his two brain cells align and he is a mad genius until he inevitably moves and they fall out of alignment. He’s also a picky bitch and turns his nose up at certain greens and fruits. And expects humans to move out of his way when he is on the move. If you don’t do what he wants he will box you and then nip you. Methodically gets treats out of puzzles but will just stare blankly at you when you first offer him one from your hand. The vet and vet techs call him a little angel because he is so chill when they have to examine him or clip his nails.
DeDe is short for Death. She is a criminal mastermind with PTSD from having a rough kithood when she was dumped in a green space near our old house. We got her to a rescue and then adopted her when we moved in to our current place. She can tell time and will come get us if we are late for meals. She has claimed a large decorative knife I placed on a low shelf (she rubs her chin on it whenever she walks by). Dislikes having her picture taken. She loves Morphi but is a huge asshole to him (chases him, steals his treats and toys, kicks him out of their tent). It takes two vet techs to examine her or trim her nails, and has scratched the hell out of me for daring to pick her up. But she loves her manservant (aka Daddy, aka my partner), and will let him pick her up, comb her, and pet her.
They both love to hide behind furniture and pestered the ouija board box so much I had to remove said board and let them go hogwild on the box. Morphi likes to eat my clothes off the drying racks and DeDe eats any and all wires while I am rescuing my underwear. I love them with every inch of my being.
VEGAN CATS!!!
Morphi is the boy sidekick of the tough and plucky girl protagonist. Without him, plots would not advance and she would have nobody to confide in. Critically, while not the protagonist, the book is from his point of view, and his narration is so charming that the reader does not realize until some way in that he's a bit of a himbo. Were it not for Plot happening, he would be a househusband (husbun?), but would have some stuff going on the side. Like a really successful Youtube channel or something, where he shows off some sort of cool hobby like time lapse puzzle assembly or model railroading, or he might play the synthesizer and do off-genre covers of classical music.
DeDe is the supposed villain of the week, until she crops up in Season 3 as a real badass. She's not quite there yet, but is readying herself to make her play. That said, her rough background makes me feel like she isn't merely a villain, that perhaps she comes around, and joins the heroes' side. She is formidable, her methods are questionable, but she gets results. I'm seeing her as some sort of rogue or thief or cat burglar. Vegan Catwoman, almost. Someone who moves around stealthily or infiltrates by deception. She is hard to catch off-guard but can be very affectionate with those she has adopted for her own. Don't mess with her found family.
