Athens - Minecraft, there is unironically deep athens lore to this fact, i am not kidding

Serpa - they’re the type of fucker to love those super expansive MMO’s that have way too much content and have bosses that require 10+ people to beat, so I think late Final Fantasy games?

Rotary - any borderlands games, dunno why but he just gives that vibe

Mir!Rotary - absolutely a tablet kid, plays shit like candy crush and my singing monsters on a very dirty screen, and to clean said screen he puts his tablet in the sink and lets it run. Definitely didn’t do that myself when I was younger… (the tablet kept working tho, so good for me)

I can’t rember anyone else I gotta write for so uhh, remind me if I forgot anyone and I’ll answer

Apart from Gaara, the cemetery was empty and still as a - well, you know.

When had been here last his grave was a mound of fresh dirt. The service had been unusually chilly after a week of hot late-summer days. Both he and Kankuro had lurked toward the back of the crowd. At the time it had been unclear whether or not they were welcome. The family did not greet them, nor did they ask them to leave. Kankuro had made a move to stand in line for the shovel, but then he retreated before his turn, out of place amongst the Inuzuka clan who were loud and brazen even in their grief. The brothers had left soon after the final prayers in silence.

Now Gaara sat at the gravesite itself. He reached for the headstone, faltered, and found purchase in the grass instead.

"Hey, Kiba."

He had not planned to speak aloud. He had not planned to speak at all. The dead don't have ears. But once he began, the rest spilled out in a deluge.

He told Kiba everything. When he ran out of words to say he found himself talking about nothing, almost rambling, in a way so uncharacteristic of him he wondered for moment if the dead truly do have ears, if they even had a power beyond what he could comprehend, sucking the life out of him with an otherworldly straw. By the time he had finished, the shade of the tree under which he had taken shelter had crept, leaving him exposed under the light of early day. Birds had flocked to the branches; a mourning dove cooed and received a distant coo in return. Somewhere, a cricket chirped.

"You always pushed so hard. I never asked you to. I wasn't always kind to you in return, and I didn't make things easy for you." Kiba hadn't always made things easy for Gaara, either, but that was something of a moot point now. "I’m better now - I’m getting better. I think you’d want to know that. I'm in recovery. They don't say recovered. I don't think it - I don't think the addiction ever goes away, not entirely. But it's a clinic..."

He had removed his sandals and his feet were caked in sod, having tunneled beneath the dewy grass into the dirt beneath. He felt connected there, this broken shell of a body tying him from the worms and beetles of the earth to a pair of ravens circling above. In each scar a nightmare of a memory, in each breath the will to thrive in spite of them. He sat there a while. When his shoulders began to burn, he only shifted, something stronger than his own muscles rooting him in place. He reached out again, this time tracing his fingers across the granite inscription with goosebumps stippling his arms, and felt at once as if every atom in him had dissolved into the womb of the universe; as if he could no longer call himself a separate human entity, but merely matter in this temporary form, waiting, patiently, to be released back into stardust.

A maintenance van pulled into the nearby parking lot. Across the way, a group clad in all black began gathering by the gated entrance. Beyond, the world came alive with a construction crew down the street, children making their way to school, the groan of a train chugging across ancient tracks. Gaara gathered himself to his feet.

"Well, don’t let me take up your entire day," he said in an attempt at a joke he hoped Kiba would appreciate. God knew they could have both used some levity, a lifetime ago.

From his backpack he pulled a small potted plant. "Flowers die," he explained as he nestled it against Kiba's headstone. Its tender leaves stretched up, up, up towards the waiting sun. "But someone has to care for this.” For a moment more he lingered. In his chest he found softness, and cradled it close.

“Now you’ll know I’ll be back. I’ll come back.”

Carrie and Big opinions? Opinion on Trey? What character do you think grows the most throughout the show?

Carrie and Big is such a loaded question. The more I rewatch, the more my opinions about them shift. At first I thought he was awful to her and solely to blame for things not working out, but upon closer viewing they both took turns being at fault in that relationship. Ultimately, as much as they don’t appeal to me, I think they were meant for one another. Carrie, for better or for worse, never felt as much for any of her other partners as she did for Big. And, despite his serious commitment issues, I do think Big genuinely loved her. I don’t root for them when I’m watching the show, but I do think their relationship makes sense.

As for Trey, watching him on my screen felt like being hit by a tranquilizer dart. He really sucked the life out of every scene for me; I found him so dull and unbearable. He may not have been awful per se, but he was beyond frustrating which is worse. I do think his character was important and served a narrative purpose, as Charlotte’s marriage to him served as the catalyst for a lot of her character growth, but did he have to remain on the show for so long? I was counting down the episodes until he was gone.

I think all of the girls (except for Carrie) undergo a great deal of growth throughout the course of the series, but personally I feel like Charlotte developed the most. Granted, she started in the roughest place and had the most maturing to do, but nevertheless. She’s a much better version of herself by the end of the show. She got on my nerves at my first, but ended up really growing on me after her marriage to Trey.

thank you for the long ask, this isn’t satirical, I genuinely love having long asks

1, Best and Worst qualities, and Why

Cassi’s best quality is her durability and loyalty to the people close to her (sadly there’s only 1 person, and it’s exactly who you think it is)

Athens has the great person you can get along with, because they have the collective experiences of tons of people. Knowledge of different peoples lives and experiences gives him a big variety of lives to pull from

Serpa is completely and utterly devoted to their cause, which I guess is a good quality? I don’t have many “good” qualities for them

but A MAJORITY OF MY CHARACTERS have the quality of being COMPLETELY AMBIVALENT AND NOT CARING ABOUT LIVES, they have no real ties to “morals” and such, making them not the best friends you could have, really

3, What are their voices like?

Cassi has a voice like a beautiful singer, while having an American accent (I think American accents sound like how I think they sound, idk)

Athens’ voice varies a lot depending on their mood, varying from a very forced sounding happy voice or that of a smooth bartender, so really, idk

Serpa’s voice is somewhat sultry, sounding like a super villain, not leaning towards feminine or masculine. Though, occasionally, some of her words can sound a bit…. bitcrushed? Makes you wonder wether they’re using the tv head to speak or are doing it without a mouth.

4, Underlying motivations

Athens has only one thing he wants to do most in his probably unending existence and suffering, and that’s going to Venus. There is a reason why, but I refuse to tell you guys because it’s an inside joke that only i know :)

7, Greatest Insecurities

Mir!Rotary canNOT pick a fucking struggle, man. He’s an orphan who’s constantly worried or crying, and has like, 0 friends. It’d be difficult for me to find something he’s NOT insecure about. Meanwhile, Rotary’s only real struggle is with him feeling that him being around annoys people and they don’t want him around. Also, fun fact that is slightly refered to only once when he was first introduced during the Box mini battle, he went to Church and witnessed the Anti-Bostonian Preacher guy, which 100% gave him some sort of trauma

8, Coping Mechanism

Mir!Rotary: He doesn’t cope, why would you ask me this about him, have you fucking seen this child before?

Rotary copes through good ol’ cynicalism, the most marketable type of coping besides blowing all your money on useless shit. Sadly, this makes him 1% more similar to Rick from Rick and Morty, which makes me want to blow my/his brains out.

15, are they different from how they were as a child?

As I’ve kinda hinted towards at 8, Rotary was likely a normal young Christian child before he met THAT Priest and lost all of his faith in god. Ever since, Rotary barely acts as positive as he used to, I wouldn’t be surprised if occasionally you’d find him in bar smoking. He probably used his phones to sneak in tho, no bouncer would let this 4ft fucko in, and I’m willing to be he never got a license because he was too short to drive.

17, How many hours of sleep do they take?

Cassi, being a goddess, doesn’t NEED to sleep to live, but because of their habits, needs to sleep to be fully lucid(us). Saying that, I fully believe her sleeping periods either span from a quick nap, to a healthy rest, to a few days. Really depends how many things they do, but in an average basis, i’d give it…. 6 or so hours for her regular day, so a little under average.

18, where do they see themselves in 10 years?

For being a being that can go between universes and stuff, 10 years isn’t THAT long, so if you don’t mind me I’m putting an extra 0 on that shit.

Now, I truly and completely believe that given enough time, Cassi could be able to become the new God of the PEPN multiverse, but she’d have to take advantage of a few things. But in only 100 years, I’d see her actually having grown as a person, and being maybe a bit more compassionate and polite to an extent.

Also she’d have murdered everyone in Miraculum at least once, because as before mentioned, she holds grudges
