Dear Gus & Magnus,

When I got home from work tonight, we went to Yiayia's house for dinner so that we could grab some costuming things for tomorrow's SoMardi Gras parade. We're walking/riding with Gus's school and the theme is "Under the Sea," so Mom had a plan to turn umbrellas into jellyfish, but then Errol said he actually already has one. The odds of having such a thing...aren't good. But he does and it saved Mom lots of work. Neither of you ate a good dinner, but said you were full, then you shook Yiayia down for apples to eat on the way back to our house.

once upon a time we were besties but that didn't last lust took over and the "just friends" became the past I have always knew that he'd be the end of me one day but I still made a move and called him at night to say I'd drink half your Gin bottle if you dare not confess So we can blame it when we wake up in our love mess he knows that I get lost in love and fantasize easily I always crave my loved people all the time greedily be saying some shit like "I want you all for myself, so let me keep you in a jar on my black books shelf" deeply obsessed and up waiting for him every night missing his eyes cause they are my favorite sight if he's ever late I'd call him saying "this isn't fair" I be sounding so toxic as I go "do you even care?" ain't built for long distance I need him in my room never dating just for fun, he's my soon to be groom ain't spending on concealer, we wear marks with pride his mandem laugh as he go "its from my future bride" we would watch a movie then go for a late night drive making out on the highway doubting if we will survive turn the car around feeling unable to handle the heat then pull off mid-way "fuck it just hit the back seat" 20 minutes then he slips in jeans handing me his shirt roll down the windows to breath as we start to flirt some wild stuff like "you tasted as sweet as wine" and maybe "my ideal body weight is yours on mine" then finish the ride back to home all wasted drunk playing music out loud, a mixture of punk and funk his hand on my thigh stealing kisses at red traffic his playful moves to keep the atmosphere romantic back home we'd tiredly collapse on top of the bed on his chest not the pillow is where I lay my head

While I was out running Hubby had finished the seat mountings for the passenger seat in the Cortina. He is happy with his progress this weekend but has just had to rush outside and move the car back into the garage as it is raining again. The car is almost ready to go back to the upholsterer to get the roof lining done and the carpet put in. Hubby remounted the brass plate from the cars days as a public servant. This car was used by NZ Post to do postal business about town. It is nice to know the cars history.

Oh gosh Palmer and Ducky and Bishop trying to install the car seat is a little too close to the bone.
