A drive to Wales. Lomo LC-A. Truprint 200.

The journey to New Quay from the north west of England is one I have been familiar with since childhood. I used to take that trip regularly to see my grandparents. Nowadays I drive myself and am able to stop and take photos whenever I like. Car journeys are so much better as an adult driver.

Posts will become a little more frequent until I have posted all of my holiday photos. Enjoy.

In this post, I share the driving experience between Khajuraho and Chitrakoot.

I stopped by this old bridge built, I am sure, by the British.

While driving and after the locals kept driving me off the road, I could not help but think of some threats I received during the early years of my career.

Machynlleth. Lomo LC-A. Truprint 200.

Machynlleth is another town I used to pass through as a child passenger and wish I could get out and explore.The giant clocktower (for which the foundation stone was laid in 1874) is a symbol of the town. It was undergoing maintenance when on the day I visited.

Nowadays Machynlleth is home to many "hippy types" (as one older native described them to me a few years ago.) I could not resist stopping for a coffee and a walk.
