Tips to burn more while walking!! (And explanations ;)
- bounce on each step (doesn't take any extra time per step but burns way more... Just looks goofy asl)
-listen to faster paced music (you'll take more steps cuz you'll be subconciously tryna match the song)
-sway your arms (idk how much more it'll burn bc I haven't tested it, but it prob makes a bit difference if you're walking a long time)
-DON'T STOP (even if you feel tired, trust me keep going. You'll be surprised how long you can go. I'd say I get tired abt 20 min in but rly I can go 3hr before I'm actually exhausted to continue. It's how I jogged 2 hr and burned 1000 in one sitting)
-steps>speed (it doesn't rly matter how fast you go. You burn a lil under double while jogging, but that's because you take just under double the amount of steps in half the time. If walking helps you go longer then just walk)
-dance as you go (makes me hyped)
-remember THERES NO EXCUSE TO NOT WALK unless you're like disabled or like injured. It's too cold? Treadmill. No treadmill? Walk around your dining table. Family think you're insane? Walk back and forth in your room. Mines 4-5 steps across and I still go for hours in there.
Good luck and be careful! Socks can tear if you go too long and also if you go for hours the skin on the bottom of your feet will get rly thick

never forget you are in control of your voluntary movement. you are the one buying the food, opening the packages stuffing it in your face and staying lazily in bed. you could perfectly be the one walking around, not buying stuff you don't trust yourself with, avoiding your trigger foods, not stuffing your face and working. it really is your choice.

little weight loss ideas
these are just a few things I like to do throughout the day to burn a couple extra calories!
Dance breaks! As a student, I love to take dance breaks when I’m studying. It’s a great way to break up those sedentary hours.
Never take the elevators! I always like to take the stairs. This one’s kinda obvious though.
Standing while working! Standing definitely burns more calories than sitting, so I like to stand while I read or scroll edblr.
Do the “tv show workouts!” All of those “do 10 squats every time Chandler laughs” and “do 15 jumping jacks whenever Eleven uses her powers” type workouts are so much fun.
Take the long way! I always park the farthest away from the grocery store in the parking lot or walk the longest route to class to get steps.
Pacing! I, for one, like to pace when I think and it helps burn a few extra calories when I do.
Inter mural sports! I’m not good enough to be on any of our teams at uni, but there are always pickup games to join when I’m on campus.
Alright, that’s all I got for now.

Things that help me with restriction / eating less or fasting :)
-going on walks (burns calories, I am nowhere near food)
-diet drinks (taste good, meal replacement)
-small whole body workouts (burn calories but won't leave you exhausted)
-energy drinks with zero sugar (keep me energized)
-green tea (makes me feel full, good for losing weight)
-drawing and writing, journaling (distracts me for a long time and I mostly forget I even feel hungry lol)
-music (a good beat always makes me dance -> burn more calories)
-lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, goat cheese (low calorie, taste so so good, seasoned with a bit of salt they make the perfect salad and you will feel full quickly!)
-avoiding drinks with a lot of calories (i feel like they don't do me any good, just a waste of calories)
-looking at tumblr posts for an unhealthy amount of time (distraction, inspiration etc.)
-avoiding candy, chocolate, crisps and all that (eating those always makes me crave more and I tend to start bingeing)
-watching weight related videos/movies (a bit of shock therapy when you see immobile/bedbound people and realize that that could have been you if you hadn't started trying to lose weight again)
-flavoured water (I personally love drinking those because I get my water in and they taste good)
-reminding myself that if i restrict hard enough, I will end up at my goal weight quicker and I will be able to eat and drink all those things again, but of course in moderation ^^
