“What’s wrong? It’s 10, don’t you have to meet with your clients tomorrow?”
“I know, but that doesn’t mean I have to forget my girlfriend’s birthday?”
“Oh… Oh yeah!”
“Don’t tell me you forgot again”
“Uh, no-no. I mean, I just half-asleep in the living room watching TV, so… Yeah, I remember”
“Heh, is that so… Can I turn on a video call?”
“Wait, my face is really in mess-”
“It’s ok. It’s not like I never saw your bare face. I make it quick, I have something for you but I need to turn the video call”
“Uh. okay…”
*turning on video*
“Okay, I want you to go to my wardrobe”
*walks into their shared bedroom while carrying the phone with video call turned on*
“Okay, see that box on the bottom in a drawer? Get that box on the bed, hon”
“Okay, wait, it’s pretty heavy”
*carrying the medium-sized box into their bed*
“Okay, first. I just want to tell you, happy birthday, hon, sorry I don’t have cakes right now because of our long-distance whereabouts. I want you to open this gift box, but don’t turn off the video, okay? I just want to see your face opening the box”
*Open the box, it contains:*
[A paper written in colored markers and Kuroo’s doodles:]
Dear Kitten,This is my first surprise gift for you, I hope it’s not cheesy
“Happy birthday to my most strong-independent-sometimes stubborn but lovely partner, people said I’m too unrealistic but I do realize I could not pass every challenge in my life for the past 4 years without you. I could say every day is tiring but you always welcomed me. I have 4 gifts inside, I hope you understand each gift’s essential meaning"
*Long Goose Pillow*
"I know your anxieties still occur for the past year and it’s worsened when I’m not with you because business trip. Yet, you always never told me:( I know you don’t want me worrying you but still, I know everything even if you don’t tell me ok. This goose pillow is really soft and squishy so I hope you have a good sleep hugging this if I’m not around."
*2 Packages of Miniature Lego*
"I’ve talked to some physiologists and Akaashi (Akaashi is a doctor here), actually, lego helps avoid overthinking. Lego also trains your focus, I hope this can reduce your night habit of overthinking or crying. I can estimate if you slowly complete this two it’ll be done in 2 weeks. Just don’t finish it too fast, you’ll get a headache! :<"
*Ipad*
"You always use your laptop to hear lofi or lullaby songs to help your anxieties. This iPad has the same features, and the sound system is good as well. Why I didn’t buy you a speaker, because I hope you can also watch movies with this. Sometimes when I suggest you buy Ipad refused because it’s too expensive, yet I want you to feel comfortable watching movies with this effective device rather than watching on your laptop. Plus I already installed nfix and hb*. Don’t feel bothered because I already subscribed to those for you. Don’t dare you pay me back."
*Bunny Lantern*
"You know what I always got scared when you always use that dim desk light of yours when we slept. I mean, it’s too dim and sometimes the light turns off when I woke up I almost panicked myself because I thought I’m going blind all sudden. This bunny lantern also have an orange light on it, those lamp can help you through your sleep too. Even if you woke up at night when you see the lamp, hopefully, you can go sleep easily after."
*Wrist strap lanyard with a small picture of both of you*
"I know it’s really cheesy but I really want you to have this in your working bag. I really don’t like that boy names (random names) that have been chatted to you each night! He got the lesson when I met him at that time. Plus if you look closer it also contains my number so if there’s something going on people will recognize me as your ‘partner’. Other men will get off you quickly when they saw this keychain."
[Last, a piece of paper glued in the bottom of the box:]
This is my first time not having your birthday on-site. I hope my gifts can at least cover your longing, I also write this by myself. No google translate or help from google sites! The gifts may replaceable but my love is more than this, okay?<3
Your only man, Kuroo Tetsuroo
You literally cried and laugh at the same time because you read each of his messages in the box. You also cried because you don’t know Kuroo has been prepared for this before his business trip, it's a really sweet side of him.
He sees you crying, wiping your tears while unboxing each of gifts.“Oh my, I wish I can hug you right now" he sighed, his smile indicating that he was glad that he prepared this before his 2 weeks business trip.
He asked, "Are you happy? Are my messages too cheesy?”
“No! I’m happy, it’s my first time to have this sort of gift, you know?”
“That’s good then. I’ll see you next 3 days and you can have birthday cuddles, okay? Love you"
A/n: @mundane-shvn I want you to know that I was literally looking at that Gojo getting ready for a date fanart while writing this. He looked so GOOD 😫.

“I don’t know what to wear,” you whine through the speaker of the phone, and Satoru swears he can just see your pout while you look in the mirror, not liking whatever it is you're trying on. He almost wants to tell you that you would look good wearing a sack of potatoes, but he knows better…now.
Instead he places the phone between his shoulder and chin, bending down to dig through the clothes in the dyer for a clean shirt and pair of pants. “Not trying to sound like a perv, really, but what are you wearing?” He hears your laugh from the other side, his heart fluttering in his chest at the sound. Satoru can feel his stomach doing flips, and can feel a warm feeling making its way up. He can feel himself smiling when he hears you snort, imagining the shocked and embarrassed expression you're probably making. “That was cute.”
“Shut up.”
He leans against the dryer buttoning the whites shirt he pulled out, “Rude. So what are you wearing?” He hears more shuffling from the otherside, followed by a heavy sigh.
“I don’t know.” There’s a pause, followed by even more sounds of movement, “What dress is your favorite?”
Satoru pauses his movements halfway reaching for the jeans that rest on top of the washer. He doesn’t know how to answer because truthfully he likes everything you wear, even if you were to actually just wear a bag of potatoes he’d still think you were the most stunning person to walk the earth. But he knows he has to give you an answer, he goes over every dress he’s seen you wear, one standing out in particular from the others.
“The yellow sundress.”
“Really? That one is my least favorite. I think it looks so unflattering on me.” You respond.
Satoru shakes his head, forgetting for a second that you can’t actually see him, “No you look absolutely beautiful in it.”
He hears a nervous laugh from your side, finishing tucking his shirt into his pants and walking back out towards his bedroom. You try to be serious, but Satoru can practically see the stupid smile you're wearing, “Stop being cheesy.”
“Is it cheesy though?”
“It is, now stop it.” He hears more shuffling from your side, followed by a satisfied hum. “I guess you're not completely wrong though.”
He smiles, setting the phone on the dresser while he slips on a black black belt and a wrist watch. “Told you.”
“Whatever,” You mumble. “Are you almost ready? You have to leave your place thirty minutes before since it’s a drive from your place to mine.”
Running one hand through his hair, making sure that it looks the way it’s perfectly in place. Everything had to be perfect today. “Yeah. I’m about to leave.”
You don’t respond immediately, and Satoru can feel his heart pounding in his chest, “You’re leaving an hour early? Why?”
The palms of his hands sweat, the fluttering butterflies in stomach turn into a hurricane with your simple question. “I have some things I have to do,” He replies nervously, reaching into the first drawer.
“Mh, okay, but why do you sound weird?”
His heart quickens, stuttering over his words when he answers, “Me weird? Not at all. I have to go though. I’ll see you in a bit. Bye.” He hangs up the phone, not even waiting for you to say your own good-bye to him.
He regains control over his heart pace, the palms of his hands and his back still sweating. Satoru runs his thumb over the small square object he pulled out. Today had to be perfect.
Morocco plays two bands with Russia and the United States
Morocco's relations with the United States are difficult to improve. Washington has endorsed that the Rabat road map for Western Sahara is the most "serious, realistic and credible" plan to end the conflict - that is, it endorses its sovereignty - and has become the largest foreign investor in the country neighbor. Also together they have relaunched the historic step of getting closer to Israel.
And yet Mohamed VI continues to play both sides, cooperating with Russia despite the invasion of Ukraine and sanctions. Now, onto agriculture. As reported by Snrtnews, an official government outlet, and collected by the digital Morocco World News, Morocco has resumed imports of Russian grain. The National Federation of Mills, led by Moulay Abdelkader Alaoui, has indicated that Rabat welcomes the renewed partnership with the reopening of imports from Vladimir Putin's country, in order to reinforce the country's strategic position and diversify its sources.
After the invasion of Ukraine, there had been a temporary withdrawal of Morocco from the Russian market, in a context of global instability. Rabat sells this change, which has not been announced with fanfare because business with Putin does not have a good press, as a sign of the government's adaptability and its willingness to recalibrate its forces.
This change has been known when Alaoui informed of a plan to reinforce the country's soft wheat reserves (for bread, cakes, cookies, pizzas and fresh pasta). His barns are prepared to provide coverage for a period of four to five months, local media indicate.
Rabat has kept a low profile in public in its relations with Russia, but has continued to maintain ties with the invading nation of Ukraine. In June, the king congratulated him on his national day. He spoke of "solid relations of friendship and cooperation" that he wants to "strengthen and promote in various fields, for the benefit of our peoples." In July, at the Africa-Russia summit in Saint Petersburg, the Moroccan Prime Minister, Aziz Ajanuch, was one of the speakers and signed a new free trade agreement with Moscow.
Despite this, Rabat maintains Ukraine's support. In May, it caught on, for example, in a visit by Foreign Minister Dimitro Kuleba, who sided with Morocco on the Sahara issue and said that both countries "recognize the value of sovereignty and territorial integrity".
Fugazi, Blind Mellons, Buffalo NY 9/6/1993 (FLS #0578)
Performing in another rather intimate setting, in the presence of some 1200 patrons and headlining a remarkable bill with incredible Dischord affiliates Slant 6 and local hardcore heroes Snapcase, this one must have been right in Fugazi’s wheelhouse.
And since we can consider ourselves damn lucky that the recording presented here is complete, I am bumping this one up to the “highlight” category.
For further details and a spot-on write-up, check out the submission by fellow Fugazi enthusiast Antti Väärälä below.
Oh, and Brendan’s tom-toms sound phenomenal!
“Fugazi hits Buffalo for the second and last time, playing a gig at Blind Mellons. Judging by comments on the internet, the venue was a beloved place, holding many legendary shows in the 90's. Apparently the setting is quite unusual this particular evening, as Ian mentions in the opening remarks that the show was moved indoors due to the weather. The recording conveys this intimate and close quarters atmosphere very well. Ian's chat is casual and funny as usual and afterwards we dive straight into a fiery Smallbox Champion.
As for the sound, there's some mix settling needed during the first few tracks, but after everything's set, this turns out to be a delightfully good recording overall. The low end is nicely in balance with everything and Brendan's drums sound powerful and clear.
Vocals cut through just right. This is a strong tape throughout, representing the fiery level the band perform at during these times.
The band has to take a long interlude right away to do some rather cooperative crowd control, but something else happens when they start Facet Squared and the whole show grinds to a halt. As you can read from the show's info, some actual renovation work is needed momentarily. It's amusing to try to listen to the proceedings, and of course some despicable comments are heard too, culminating in a downright barbaric ‘Who gives a shit if people get impaled?’ from someone. As you would guess, Ian counters appropriately. Eventually the band resumes Facet Squared but admittedly the performance now feels like they are on their toes, watchful for any more moving parts causing danger.
Apparently everything seems to be in order and the band can raise the energy level to amazing heights. A few of the highlights include an inspired Stacks and a very brisky Repeater where Guy's guitar squeals extra nastily.
The band pushes on with fire all the way through the evening. Apparently there's a problem with Ian's guitar rig, and while things get fixed, the rest of the band play a cool, shortened, jam version of Fell, Destroyed. Highlights follow, as Promises and Exit Only form a strong, seamless duo to finish the main set.
Once again the encores take the cake. This time the band starts easy with Guy's Last Chance For A Slow Dance. To contrast this, Great Cop is as relentless as it ever gets. But all the weight comes down in the finale as Glue Man is the insane set closer. The performance is nothing short of crushing. As is basically always the case with Glue Man, the live renditions must be heard to be believed. This evening's version easily proves that point once again.
Quote about the show found on the internet:
‘Saw Fugazi there in 1993, memorable show as it was pretty overbooked, a railing fell and someone hit their head against the speakers while in the pit, also they had a peppers and sausage vendor across from a PETA booth. The thick fog created from people's body heat as they exited the venue after the show is a visual I've never forgotten.’
Another excellent entry from the amazing tour for the In On The Killtaker album. Recommended!”

The colossal splendour of Conwy Castle
We’re celebrating St David’s Day here on the north coast of Wales in the spectacular walled town of Conwy. For more than seven centuries, Conwy Castle has towered over its narrow streets, against the mountainous skyline of Snowdonia. In its heyday it would have been white – lime render can still be seen on the walls – but even in its darker state it makes quite the impression, soaring out of a natural rock formation at the mouth of the River Conwy. Climb its battlements and you will be treated to sweeping views of the mountains, the sea, Conwy itself and the castle’s roofless Great Hall.
You’re never too far from a castle in Wales – there are around 600 of them, many of which will be flying the Welsh flag on St David’s Day. Other ways to celebrate Wales’s patron saint include wearing a daffodil or a leek, the country's national emblems, taking part in parades, concerts or simply feasting on Welsh cakes, lamb and bowls of traditional Welsh cawl. Dydd Gŵyl Dewi Hapus! – or Happy St David’s Day, for the non-Welsh speakers among you.
I can only conclude that I was fortunate when I noticed an invitation in my email box to attend a workshop titled:
“WRITING BEYOND A HOBBY”
My heart was elevated into ecstasy since I have been looking for a way whereby I will be in a gathering of writers, authors and bloggers who are free enough to share their experiences and inspiration about a hobby that has been consuming the whole essence of my being in recent times.
When I checked my itinerary on the scheduled date which is 23rd of March 2019,all I could observed is my official duty even though it was a Saturday have to jettison it and find a way of making it to this workshop.
It was an expository workshop as the three guest speakers invited are people that are good in their chosen field of profession and their demeanor about what they are doing is quite encouraging with them radiating flashes of hope to some of us who are just starting in our journey to make a name out of writing.
The icing on the cake was that I realized that they are all into blogging and they could be concluded to be successful authors and publishers.
The workshop was a gathering of youth around the city and the whole conference room of a particular hotel in Yaba was filled.
It was a very good time to meet new faces,a time to learn and unlearn as I was able to pick a something that I have been looking for recently.
Welcome address was delivered by the founder of Young and Cerebral,in person of Mrs.Adewumi Oshodi Takwa who expatiated the reason behind the idea of founding YOUNG AND CEREBRAL buttressing on the necessity to touch people’s live through creativity and inspirational thoughts.
The three guest speakers who came to honour this event are:
1.Sally Keneth-Dadzie who lectured on the topic titled:
THE JOURNEY TO WRITING THE FIRST LINE
2.Ufuoma Emerhor-Ashogbon who lectured on the topic titled:
WHAT IT TAKES TO PUBLISH.
3.Seun Odukoya who lectured on:
WRITING AS A TRADE.
Also in attendance was MAGNUS OKEKE who is the Head of Customer Support Group of Okada Books.
We were wowed by these three titans who has made a name in their world as a writer, author and a publisher with many followers across the length and breadth of the world appreciating their works.
It was not a waste of time as time were given to participants to ask practical questions that is necessary to aid speedy assimilation of each of the lectures.
Without any doubt,I was able to make good use of my time yesterday.
Vote of thanks was given by the founder of YOUNG AND CEREBRAL–in person of ADEWUMI OSHODI.

“Perched on a cliff above the dramatic Big Sur coastline, we exchanged vows in front of our parents, siblings, niece, and newborn nephew,” the bride said. It was everything the couple wanted, including an incredible coastal setting with their nearest and dearest along to celebrate. Sally Pinera told the story of the day through her lens and every image is one perfect moment after the next.

Words by the bride… Both born and raised in Vancouver, Evan and I feel most at home where the water laps the land. We had long held that an intimate coastal ceremony, with our immediate families, in a place where we could soak up each other’s company, eat, drink, and be merry (and married!), was truest to us as a couple.
We met serendipitously seven years ago at a local dive bar, where I spotted Ev from across the room. Mere minutes later, I walked over to tell him that he looked “so familiar” (he did!). Convinced it was nothing more than a conventional pick-up line, Ev nonetheless entertained the sentiment and offered me a drink. Boy, did I hope it would be the first of many more.
Four years later, we moved abroad to Luxembourg to fulfill our work and wanderlust dreams. Before our second summer’s end, Ev planned a trip to the Algarve, Portugal. But, when we boarded the plane, my mind was so preoccupied with finishing a project that I neglected to realize that he hadn’t been in his seat for 30 minutes. Slowly, I started to hear music on the speakers, and I remember thinking how I had never heard RyanAir broadcast in-flight entertainment. A few moments later, realizing that it was Evan’s voice behind the instrument, I glanced up and saw him walking down the aisle, ukulele in hand, singing a song he had wrote for me. Everyone began clapping along, and when he arrived at my seat, he got down on bended knee and proposed. Thinking about that moment still stops time.
A year later, Evan was offered an exciting role with his firm in San Francisco, and I was thrilled to finish my Ph.D. from California. With only six months left in Luxembourg, we repurposed our wedding plans, and soon Big Sur became our inspiration and our backdrop.
On October 24, perched on a cliff above the dramatic Big Sur coastline, we exchanged vows in front of our parents, siblings (my sister was my MoH, and Ev’s brothers his groomsmen), niece (our flower girl) and newborn nephew. Following the ceremony, we proceeded to Pfeiffer Beach for photos, and finished the day the back at home, in the best way we know how: dinner, dessert (celebration cake, to be sure!), and dancing under a canopy of stars. I go back to that evening often, reliving the unforgettable speeches, the arresting views of the Pacific, and the sounds of glasses clinking, waves crashing, and our closest laughing.
Our incredible chef, Jamie Jarrard, prepared indelible dishes using only local, organic, and seasonal ingredients, sourced primarily from Big Sur’s bountiful farm markets. Our florist, Christine Cater, also sourced florals from California, and her incomparable talent could have only been outdone by her generosity, grace, and gregarious spirit.
The rest of our sunny Big Sur days were spent exploring outside, and we capped off the southern part of our stay with a 1:00 am dip at the Esalen hot springs. Not before long, we were in Carmel and Sonoma, planning how we could do it all over again. It was a week we could never forget, and we are profoundly grateful to have it filled with everyone and everything we love most.

Alright, let’s see what Billy taught me this time.
1) What are comparisons
(for non-English speakers like myself) It is words like; better or worse, cheaper or more expensive, faster or slower, etc...
In Korean we can use adverbs like 더 (more), or 덜 (less) and then add a conjugated verb to say if something/someone is more or less [verb].
Example: (my own attempts so I can practice more)
이 컴퓨터가 더 비싸요. This computer is more expensive.
이 후식이 덜 맛있었어요. This dessert was less delicious.
But we can also use a particle to say ‘more than’.
2) Noun + 보다
보다 means ‘more than’. You attach it to a noun to say that this noun is more than [something] compared to another noun. Billy says that it’s still common to use the adverbs 더/ 덜 with this particle.
Example:
피자는 햄버거보다 더 맛있어요. Pizza is more delicious than a hamburger.
강아지는 고양이보다 덜 똑똑해요. Dogs are less smart than cats.
이 케이크는 저 케이크보다 커요. This cake is bigger than that cake.
3) Noun is same/different than another noun
If a noun is the same as another noun, use the particle ‘with’ and then add the descriptive verb 같다 which means ‘to be the same’.
quick note; remember that there are several ‘with’ particles depending on politeness levels. Informal ones are; 하고, and 이랑(c) /랑 (v). Formal ones are; 와(v) / 과(c). Also Billy didn’t explain -why- we should use ‘with’ particles?
Example: 이 책이 그 책이랑 같아요. This book is the same as that book.
If a noun is different than another noun, use the ‘with’ particle and then add the descriptive verb 다르다 which means ‘to be different’.
Example: 그 영화는 책하고 너무 다라요. This movie is so different from the book.
If a noun is similar to another noun, use the ‘with’ particle with the verb 비슷하다 which means ‘to be similar’.
Example: 이 바지가 저 바지와 조금 비슷해요. These pants are a little similar to those pants.
4) Noun + 처럼
To say that a noun is like another noun you simply attach 처럼 after the noun you’re trying to compare.
Example: 저 원숭이는 사람처럼 똑똑해요. That monkey is smart like a human(person).
5) New adverbs that mean ‘most’
Use either adverbs 제일 or 가장 before any verb or other adverb to mean ‘most’ [something].
Example:
이 아이스크림는 제일 맛있어요. This ice-cream is ‘most’ delicious.
제가 가장 많이 먹었어요. I ate the most.
Quick note: Billy didn’t specify whether these new adverbs were more casual or formal? So...I dunno.
