I see you need nice messages about Glass so here are some of my favorite parts of the fic: Your writing of Rocketduo is so good, they are often ignored in sbi/crimeduo-fics so I love how you incorporate them in most of your stories. They’re done so well too, they have real personalities and aren’t just there for the sake of namedropping or random background characters. I especially like how they defend Wilbur in the most recent chapter, they’ve spent so much time with him and despite him being an asshole to them earlier they really could be considered his friends at this point.

The way you’re writing Charlie makes me laugh. You’ve given him the perfect amount of weird and unsettling mixed with competence. Yes, he will ask to see your teeth and ask if you’ll get him bones. No, he will not be bribed. Quackity is great as well. He’s only appeared once but he has this gravitas about him that I can’t describe. We don’t know much about his character, but he is willing to work with the terrorist group under his casino, and that says a lot about a man. I love TNTduo interactions, and you really nailed it. The Pythia’s Prophecy was so funny, and then it was so clever to have them get Wilbur’s fingerprints from it. No way I could have guessed that was the reason Tommy brought him up there.

And the hypocrisy from Wilbur and slow realization from the group of his trauma is so wonderfully written. The flashback’s from the recent chapter did so much for his character, they were such great additions. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out, especially with how the group seems split in two. Don’t listen to the people who don’t understand your story, you’re doing a great job and there are so many people who love your work. I hope you have a better rest of the day 😊

I'm so glad you like how I write rocketduo. I LOVE c!rocketduo so much and their dynamic was part of what compelled me to even make an mcyt blog in the first place. i love niki and jack so much (cc's and c's both) and their c! dynamic is so underrated. I love including them whenever I can, especially because it gives a unique switch up from the usual sbi + beeduo mix you usually get in sbi fics. also I just adore both of them as individual characters, so I try to keep them as accurate to their characterization as possible (while of course altering them for the specific au) bc again, they're so underrated. I'm having a great time with them in glass and I have plans to highlight them more as the story goes on!

charlie!! I have so much fun writing him. sometimes I worry I'm writing him too weirdly, but then I think about it and i'm like no... charlie slimecicle would want me to write him like this dsklfjdk. but I'm trying not to fall into the stereotype of infantilizing him either bc it definitely bugs me when people do that in fics. he's a really interesting and wacky character and I love just seeing what wild shit I can make him say. he's a great breath of comedic relief in glass for sure.

quackity my beloved. I love writing quackity so much you have no idea, especially his interactions with wilbur. c!tntduo is one of the best character dynamics on the server (besides c!crime of course) so I have a great time spotlighting them whenever I can, and I love how I've written him in glass so far. I'm really excited to show more of him as the fic goes on :D he's definitely an interesting character to show glimpses of

the pythia's prophecy was something i came up with off the top of my head and i was so proud of it lmao

the flashbacks in the most recent chapter were actually eli birdfeet's suggestions so shoutout to them for that! they gave me the idea in our dms and i was like holy shit you're a genius and i'm thrilled with how it turned out. the way things develop from here is definitely going to be very interesting :)

Thinking about how this lore stream proves how much C!Wilbur still loves C!Tommy. How it’s not manipulation, not necessarily, not anymore, just complicated and a little twisted because of circumstances and everything is not okay yet but you can still sense the bits of pure unfiltered brotherly love.

Like how Wilbur still remembers fondly of Tommy singing to the plants in L’manburg. The absolute soft tone and face he made when telling Ranboo that’s why they chose that melody for their anthem. How he admitted Tommy was one of the most loyal members of L’manburg and L’manburg is an extension of Wilbur. Wilbur feels he is L’manburg and L’manburg is him so he basically called Tommy his most loyal member.

How he showed remorse for the Pogtopia days because of his treatment towards Tommy. Coming clean in how guilty he feels when he looks at Tommy because the ravine is still reflected in those eyes that were once as blue as the sky but are now so, so cloudy. The way you could hear his voice falter and stutter and break the slightest because he regrets so much.

Just… just thinking about how C!Wilbur loves man.

He may never admit it, he may have a long way to go in healing, and he may especially have a long way in making things better not just for himself but for others he’s hurt, but he still loves.

He loves.

L'Manburg stans say it was created because people were being oppressed. I ask what were the instances of oppression. They say "c!Dream didn't allow L'Manburg to form!" I say that firstly, L'Manburg was an overreaction to the drug van being taken down because it went against the literal 3 rules c!Dream had in place, and also it doesn't answer our question because we're talking before L'Manburg. They say the drug van. I say it was breaking the very reasonable 3 rules. They block me.

c!Dream didn't even give a damn about the drug van. He only opposed L'Manburg because of their exclusionist policy. Whenever he has an opportunity to make some kinda negative comment about c!crimeduo's drug dealings he just… doesn't. Guy did not care.

If my memory serves me right, c!Sapnap and c!Purpled (and initially c!Tubbo!!!) were the only ones acting on the behalf of the server and trying to investigate/stop c!crimeduo.

Oh god, you know not what you ask 😅 okay lemme count real quick. Fair warning, nearly every single one is techno-centric oops

1. Witherblade AU - the official origins big bang fic, by popular vote! Phil is grieving Wilbur's death, and Technoblade is a necromancer who offers to help revive him. Cue big drama, a probably-unhealthy level of self-sacrifice, and end-game Phil/Kristin courtship <3

2. Bunnyblade AU - another origins fic, was originally gonna get used for the big bang but then I realized it would probably be shorter than I'd like. Techno is a rabbit hybrid exiled from his unsettlingly-insular community, and he stumbles across elytrian!Phil and is terrified because big scary bird of prey. Cue friendship arc, resolved misunderstandings, and recovering from brainwashing.

3. Witcher AU - witcher Techno is hired to take out a pack of draconids targeting livestock, but he figures out that it's actually a young Greater Dragon trying to care for his sick dad (it's tommy and phil lol). He takes on a secret mission to help them, ft. a (hopefully) cool fight scene

4. HTTYD AU - viking techno gets badly hurt while solo hunting, and when a dragon finds him Techno thinks he's gonna get eaten. But instead the dragon (phil) helps keep him alive long enough to heal. Cue magical found family.

5. Arrival AU - Techno and Phil are the lead science team trying to communicate with a first-contact alien species amid global uproar. Also includes some timeline fuckery which I will not spoil in case you haven't seen the movie (highly highly recommend!)

(Those first five can be found in greater detail here! I ran a poll about them recently)

6. Modern Single Dad AU - Techno is an early 20-something trying to do right by his younger brothers Wil and Tommy despite their aggressively neglectful parents. But he's still so young himself, and few 22-year-olds are equipped to feed, clothe, house, and attempt to raise two teenagers. Not that he's struggling, Techno never struggles (spoilers he does)

7. War Orphans AU - similar premise as above but in a feudal low-fantasy setting and with more plot. When Techno and Tommy's mom dies, Techno becomes head of the household and moves with his kid brother into the city to find work. He saves some teenager's life, and it turns out to be Wilbur, the crown prince. King Philza hires Techno as a personal guard for his son. A bit of found family h/c, but then the kingdom goes to war and Techno winds up being a brilliant tactician, playing a key role in battle leadership and becoming super close with Phil while crimeduo brotherhood develops in the background.

8. Space Orc AU: VERY loosely plotted, but something something Techno is a human ex-test subject stranded in space. He gets found by Phil and his crew, who man a scientific exploration ship a la star trek. Trauma healing, language barriers, cultural differences, and ideally a lot of Techno being inadvertently badass because Earth is widely considered a hell-world.

9. Acolyte AU: Piglin Techno is one of the last remaining priests for the old gods, specifically the blood god. He lives a quiet life tending his crumbling temple until one day a gang of soldiers drag in a war prisoner (phil) and demand that Techno perform a blood sacrifice. Cue fight scene possibly ft. divine intervention, then some trauma healing and trust building for EmDuo.

10. TFTSMP Techno + Tubbo ficlet: a narrative retelling of The Maze from the POV of the brothers that Techno and Tubbo played. What it says on the tin, plus unholy levels of angst because that's who I am as a person :')

11. Hippocratic Oath part 3: next installment of my ongoing Techno-Goes-To-Med-School AU, ft. EmDuo platonic life partnership. This part is gonna be centered around deciding which acceptance to take. (Might as well be a self-insert fic, i know, my partners already make fun of me for it, leave me alone :P)

12. Continuation of Champ: SBI+beeduo superhero AU, featuring Bench Trio as vigilantes whose anti-cop direct action pushes hero SBI over the edge into accepting that the hero commission is deeply, deeply corrupt. Hasn't been touched in like a century, but I have an exhaustive plot outline and worldbuilding document you gotta believe me-

13. Keres - ch1 is already published, but i havent touched it in like 6 months ;-; I desperately wanna get back to it though! Techno is a ghost hunter, Wilbur is seeing ghosts, and Phil emphatically does not believe in ghosts but is ready to try anything to help Wilbur feel less scared. Trying to lean hard into the horror aspect for this bad boy

14. Nuke AU - better known as "So Shit Has Hit the Fan," currently in active publication. In DSMP canon setting, a nuke goes off, and Techno hunkers down in his bunker with the rest of the syndicate. But Tubbo and Michael are unexpected guests, and Techno has to navigate all that social tension and lingering resentment while trapped in a tiny fallout shelter no one can escape from.

15. Neighbor AU - better known as "Like a Good Neighbor," also in active publication. Phil, Tommy and Wilbur are found family, and they slowly bring Phil's weird neighbor Techno into the fold. In doing so, they discover that Techno's past is still haunting him, and eventually they find themselves wrapped up in it too.

16. Not quite a WIP, but I have a month's worth of AU prompts that I'm planning to do a daily drabble event with! Most likely in August (get it, starts with AU), but we'll see if school allows me the time. I'm probably gonna post the prompts on here at some point so anyone else who wants to participate can do so!

*deep breath* aaand there ya have it! 16-ish WIPs in varying degrees of completion and publication (and likelihood of ever getting done, shh). I've seen a take that like… c!Wilbur's hatred of Americans is similar to how POC sometimes become distrusting towards all white people after experiencing racism. It's basically an extension of the takes that L'Manburgians were an oppressed minority even though their "oppression" was literally just people getting mad after they realized they were being stolen from for crimeduo's personal profit.

Basically "well yeah c!Wilbur was a xenophobe and hated Americans, but it's because he was oppressed by them!!! It's because they treated him unfairly! That's what made him develop a hatred for them!!!" and like… bruh that take WOULD work if it wasn't for the fact that L'Manburg wasn't oppressed, their freedoms weren't limited before unless you think that people should just be allowed to steal without consequence or something.

okay i've been seeing some hot takes on my dash, so i'll offer mine lmao.

1. c!techno is the biggest waste of potential the series has. he's amazing in concept but weak in execution. and also cc!techno can be an amazing actor but there's a time and place for jokes and the constant "subscribe to technoblade" and memeing detracts from the actual story going on.

2. i fucking love c!ranboo and defend that kid a lot but dude needs to be challenged. being conflict-avoidant is not the same as choosing people over sides, and thank god c!wilbur is there to rock the boat a little. i am really hoping we get more lore from ranboo soon because ik it's hard with cc!ranboo in the uk but it can be done.

3. so many good characters just have a great lack of lore. examples are eret, niki, and fundy. i wanna know eret's backstory with foolish. i want niki's internal anxieties and trauma to be explored. i want fundy's visions/dreams to be explained.

4. c!schlatt and c!dream are the best villains overall.

5. i really wish the cc's would post edited youtube videos of their character lore more often. that was one of the benefits of joining the fandom late and watching wilbur's s1 pov, you didn't need to sit through a bunch of hour and a half vods just to get to the point.

6. the potential villain arcs for characters (fundy and puffy) just kinda going nowhere annoys me.

7. c!george has so much potential as a character. ik cc!george doesn't really care for rp but like PLEASE DO LORE.

8. with c!wilbur, there's always one of two extremes in this fandom from what i've seen. either he's demonized or his actual shit actions are downplayed a little too much. he's not c!dream at all, but he's not pure and innocent either.

9. wanting c!tommy or c!tubbo to have a villain arc is just...hhhhh. i get the appeal, but it's not gonna happen. both of those kids are terrified af of being anything similar to the people who hurt them.

10. i love crimeduo as much as the next person but i really want c!wilbur's and c!fundy's relationship to be explored more. there's so much potential there, and ik that now wilbur is back it's inevitable for them to interact. hopefully we actually get some father and son conversations.

11. doomsday was the worst major lore event ever.

12. i really hope cc!wilbur explains why ghostbur and c!wilbur haven't merged back together as one being. because it's not like they are two separate entities, ghostbur literally could not exist until wilbur died so like huh????

I love how on the day I decide to leave the fandom u reblog something that makes my AU brain go brrrrr /lh

So like Fantasy AU, right? I haven't rambled a lot about it here, but it is just a simple AU that mostly aims around pre-canon stuff set in and around a medieval kingdom ruled but SBI, though mostly just Phil and Techno since crimeduo though the job of being royalty was boring so just kinda left to go on an adventure.

So in this AU in the backstory, Dream Team+co are a loosely kept together mercenary group. Badlands, DT, Punz, Hannah, and PPcrew all worked together to some minor extent, but eventually went there separate ways due to a few reasons such as Sam adopting three kids and c!Dream being c!Dream.

With this all set up, during the main time setting Punz is a mercenary who is occasionally called up by different royals to help them. He goes around to different kingdoms and is a terrifying force with small legends surrounding him. When people meet him and realize he is just some dude, they get very confused, but sorta go with it, Techno even once belived that Hannah was using magic for enhance his strength because according to him "a normal mortal human can't be that strong and yet also that dumb". Techno was absolutely wrong though.

Basically: Fantasy AU!Punz has been trained as a mercenary since he was very young so can and will kill several bitches with only one arrow.
