I think the Vashwood dynamic where Wolfwood thinks about how he’s going to hell every time he thinks about how pretty Vash is (often, relatable) is super funny bc 1.) can’t believe catholic guilt survived the fall of mankind and 2.) if you do believe in hell, the fact that you’ve killed a lot of people is enough to get you there. Ugh, I need to get behind this defeatism mindset… the thoughts “Everyone hates you so you’ve gotta prove yourself!” and “If you’re not creating you may as well be dead!” keep cycling through my head, and whenever I go to shut them up, there’s an obnoxiously loud voice telling me that I have no alright, because they’re all true, and by shutting them up I’m being selfish and self-serving. I don’t know how much of that is truth and how much is my own brain being hardwired against me. I’m afraid to make a guess and get it wrong.

So, uh, wish me luck with the writing! I’ve gotten a paragraph down so far today, which is certainly better than nothing, but I’d like to aim for a full page and an actual release sometime in the week, because that’ll shut my brain up for at least a day or two.

Ah thank you!! I really should make a lore doc at some point, but these are mostly just disconnected thoughts scattered through miscellaneous tumblr posts haha

I really don’t have a clear idea of worldbuilding yet which is why I’ve hesitated on making a lore document! I think the world a character is in can define a lot about their character so I don’t feel like my characters are complete yet without a cohesive world to fit into
