I feel like the disconnect from people who mught say, see a pig or keep a pig as a pet & then momentarily or temporarily (or in some cases, always) be put off from pig products like bacon or pork, comes from the disconnect in seeing how food is processed from the animal & maybe the idea that eating an animal means you also don't respect it.

#& this isn't a jab at vegans or vegetarians at all. yeah sometimes they might use that as a talking point #but thats not always why they might not eat meat & they're not the only ppl who do this #ive seen meat eaters freak out at the idea of the physical KILLING of the animal or the butchering #& they just expect it to still end up all nice and packaged at the grocery store?
