Dude, imagine something like: TADC x Mime! Reader. Reader usually stays quiet most of the time, but sometimes they suddenly talk startling everyone around them. At the same time, they are like, very expressive, using exaggerated gestures and facial expressions, and usually communicates solely through their miming skills. POMNI:

ah, a jester and her mime.... not the weirdest pairing... though granted pomni doesnt commit to the bit of being a jester and doesnt do tricks or jokes.. while you do commit... i think she would grow frustrated if you put a barrier up and made her slow down... calm down.. chill.. sure you understand the whole "finding the exit" thing going on with her, but rushing things probably wont help.... to time out she goes... probably gives you a side eye if she sees you just randomly walking on some invisible platform to just. leave in the middle of an IHA

JAX:

tries to coax you into using your powers for evil... i have a feeling jax doesnt like people who arent talkers... like being incapable of speak is one thing, i think at most is that he would make decisions for you (ie wrap an arm around your shoulder and be like "oh well me and (reader) were just thinking about......." yk? like in a joking way) but i dont think he likes quiet people... tries to coax you into speaking more... imagine you never spoke before in front of anyone and you finally reveal that you can talk, to jax, and he tries to tell everyone but no one believes him. psychological torment 101

RAGATHA:

i like to think she plays along with your mime antics, pretending to also be putting up invisible props and such... though her actions and movements are noticeably more sloppy and not as... fluid...? afterall, ragatha hasnt spent time practicing to be anywhere near your level! is a little surprised when she finds out your stuff is at least somewhat tangible within the digital world... thinks your emoting is cute..

KINGER:

so you know how he gets startled by gangle simply standing next to him? its like that with you, but he jumps when you randomly start talking next to him.. ponders... invisible safe square/cube/whatever... though i think part of the comfort of a pillow fort is that hes out of sight... but i think he would enjoy it at least a little if you created something like that for him

ZOOBLE:

enjoys that you dont talk much, zooble doesnt like chatty people i dont think... though they are willing to listen to you on days where you do feel like striking up a conversation... you actually get a laugh out of them when you banish jax to time out (aka putting up 4 see through walls around him for whatever length of time to atone for whatever crime he committed that day)

GANGLE:

art kid meets art kid, you guys are both a little silly... okay sure your stuff is more performative, and while gangle does have a comedy and tragedy mask her thing is more so in drawing and painting imo, i love me artistic gangle... loves doing your makeup, if its not just a permanent part of your digital face, and can be customized... not much to be said here... theres comfortable silence between the two of you when you hang out since you dont talk often and gangle doesnt know what to talk about and may or may not fear ruining the dynamic between the two of you

[Sooo i’ve recently watched Hazbin Hotel and the character Alastor has caught my eye 😭 like i’m so obsessed with him that it isn’t funny anymore- But anyways i’ve thought about some head-cannons for him(they might not be accurate and english isn’t my first language so if you find grammatical errors i sincerely apologize) THE END IS ANGSTY (sorry i just had to, i added a ‘dangerously yours’ reference)]

How would Alastor express his “love” for you

• The first time you met him he actually freaked you the fuck out, i mean he had that big smile on his face ALL THE TIME, it was creepy. But after a few days he won you over with his ‘personality’.

• I think that he isn’t the type to have a serious relationship with someone, but he would rather have a ‘soft’ spot for you.

• Sometimes he would open the door for you, if he’s ahead of you, but one time he walked faster than you so he could reach out for the door first and say “Ladies first!”.

• One time, while Niffty was playing with your hair (or horns if your oc has horns) you were doing a crossword. When suddenly Alastor sat down next to you and helped you with some words, since his vocabulary is much more expanded than yours.

• He would definitely keep your tea warm if you’re having a conversation with someone and forget to drink it, while he’s around.

• You always wondered why would he do these little things for you, he still made you somewhat uncomfortable when he’s around but that’s just the aura he gives off, right?.

• One time, while you were sitting in the small bar of the hotel, you were eating cookies and milk for breakfast, when accidentally a cookie fell in the mug and you were about to get a spoon, but Alastor used his magic to pick up the cookie, you were weirded out at first and looked at him suspicious but he only smiled at you, “when did he get here?” you thought while munching on the cookie.

• It actually made him smile more when he saw you laughing at his sassiness or at one of his jokes.

• You found his deer ears to be entertaining, of course you didn’t dare to touch them, but time to time he would make them move (like letting them react to noises yk-) just to see a little smile on your face.

• Sometimes you would listen to him on the radio, it seemed like he always knew when you were listening to him, so he would always be extra sassy.

• He would call you “my dear” “sweetheart” “honey” “little one” “my fawn”

• He would make Jambalaya for you

• One time, Charlie putted on some music to make the hotel less depressing than it already was, a Jazz song came on and you noticed that Alastor looked up from the journal he was reading, it was a song from ‘Frank Sinatra’ named ‘It had to be you’. You were looking at Charlie dancing and laughing with Vaggie they were so cute together!. Suddenly, you felt a poke on your right shoulder and looked but there was nobody there, when you looked back Alastor was in front of you. “Hey” you said smiling kinda freaked out but shrugged it off “Care to dance?” he stretched out his hand, you were a bit unsure since the rumors said that he didn’t like to be touched, but he wouldn’t have offered then, right? “Sure” you spoke while taking his hand, his gloves feeling cold as ever and he took you on the ‘dance floor’. Charlie was surprised but happy that you and Alastor were getting along, she seemed excited!. It was the best dance you’ve ever had.

• When Husk pointed out that you would always get the princess treatment with Alastor, you tried to disapprove “it’s not that, he’s just kind sometimes” “oh really? how can you not see that you’re literally the favorite among all of us!” you shrugged it off, and said “well take example Charlie! He treats her like she’s his child” you said in your defense, and Husk rolled his eyes “it’s not the same.” “where are you trying to get with this talk??” you looked at him while he was cleaning a glass “i just… don’t let your guard down. You already know what he’s capable of” you looked at him with concerned eyes, he was scared that you’ll end up like him “don’t worry i won’t” you reassured him with a smile, and he seemed a bit more relaxed. (of course this happened when Alastor was busy)

• After the conversation with Husk, you kept your distance, you only knew him for two and a half weeks and it seemed like he knew you already for his whole life. A few days have passed and one day you decided to stay in your room all day. You were reading a book, your mind was a mess you weren’t even actually reading. Suddenly a radio static could be heard, your eyes looked up and met his red ones, your heart began to beat faster. You gulped and said, looking away “can you leave, please?” his radio static stopped for a second and he didn’t say anything, his look could tell you already that he wasn’t going to. You got out of your bed and went to open the door “please go…” your voice cracked “what is it? what’s wrong my dear?” his radio voice was somewhat soft but his eyes were cold as ever, you held on the knob tightly than before “you know nothing about me, you’ve known me only for 3 weeks!” before you could add anything else he uttered “3 weeks?” he spoke your name softly and added “i’ve known you all my life” he gestured, his smile getting bigger, while his radio voice began to malfunction, he started to get a bit irritated “all your life?” you said in disbelief, you closed the door and stood in front of him “it’s true!” he stated “when i heard beautiful music, i thought: she likes that” “oh please stop!, don’t think i know that you just want me to sell my soul to you!” he stopped and looked away, the radio static stopping for a second and resuming, it looked like he was thinking of what to say. Your heart sank “…is it true?” he had that stupid smile on his face, he kept his hands behind his back holding his cane tightly. He quickly regained composure, he’s shown you enough of his desperate side and spoke “no, my dear of course not, why would i fool you?” you were about to tell him of the conversation with Husk but you decided that it would worsen things “maybe because you’re the ‘radio demon’?” he laughed, his shoulder moving up and down as he did “oh sweetheart, don’t you get it?” he cupped your cheeks and looked down at you “if i ever wanted to take your soul i would’ve done it already!” he said his pupils becoming radio dials for a quick second, that freaked you out and he just laughed it off “smile my dear! you’re never fully dressed without a smile” he stretched out your lips before pulling away “want some Jambalaya?” he said walking past you, you cracked a smile and looked at him wiping the little tear that was about to fall “of course..” you followed him. Strangely enough you forgot about the conversation with Husk!.

[This is my first time writing head-cannons so i’m sorry if i’ve made errors! It was hard to make the conversations with Alastor since he has a very formal vocabulary 😭. The last head-cannon was related to ‘dangerously yours’ so it’s kinda weird but i hoped you liked it! Let me know if i should make more head-cannons or do requests! (i just need to learn how to use tumblr lol)]

just sharing my thoughts, how would self aware honkai star rail just yk heard us behind the scenes and screen..

yeah kinda cliche but as someone introvert and suddenly become an extrovert when talking to myself and my friends... i kinda just spouting nonsense and as such kinda become loud. When I'm just playing games by myself, i went full on sometimes reading dialogue, turn on music full volume when the characters talking and literally just making jokes when it's very crisis. anyways, kinda sad tingyun dead(?) and i cried a little bit about it. back on track, imagine you're just a character that's like feeling yourself guided (or in my case controlled) by some unknown entity, and suddenly you heard a voice booming in your head (or maybe from the sky don't judge me I'm uncreative) like full on talking about nonsense and things that doesn't really has any context suddenly. imagine Herta just shaking her head in annoyance, arlan and yanqing confused face and the trailblazer just acting like it's a casual day.

or maybe listening to music, my music taste is very random (yeah weird flex smh), like they (the characters you're playing or on your team) just being weirded out by cpr... at least they don't know what automotivo bibi fogosa lyrics means🙂, and then ateez horizon played and then Francis forever and then candy pop, super shy you get my point.. they went on confused cause like... they don't understand shits except for the English songs (and chinese songs for xianzhou). anyway, this can be interpreted in 3 ways, player au, us being some sort of a divine being au, or maybe we're somewhat like a staff working at hoyo au (though, i don't know why i insert this au)

what do you think jedidiah and yvonne’s friendship would have been like during college, particularly when sydney was comatose?

!!!!!! okay so this one im gonna do less evidence baded more interpretation bc like i think this is something that will be explored more Later so like obviously idk for sure . but from what i understand of how they talk about it it seems like yvonne and jedidiah first came to be friends probably through a good deal of effort on yvonnes part since jeddie obviously was scared of them in the beginning i doubt he was the one initiating the friendship . and i think it seems like they spent a lot of time together since yvonne references trying to bring jedidiah to parties a lot, and i also think it was usually just the two of them since joshua asks if he knows this story (implying theres at least Some yvonne and jeddie stories he doesnt know), yvonne doesnt seem at all as close to sydney as they do to jedidiah, and they dont really seem to have other mutual friends thatr referenced . i think they used to just hang out and play video games and joke around a lot - they strike me as the kind of friends who spend tons of time together and consider each other best friends but dont really emotionally open up to each other that often, just bc both of them seem to struggle with talking about their feelings at times (except w joshua on yvonnes end) and yvonne doesnt seem to know abt how jeddies relationship to sydney reallt works. but i do think jedidiah opens up to yvonne more than most ppl!! theres a bit of evidence for this (yvonne refers to jeddie as not having been Openly stressed out in ages which implies hes been stressed out before in private) and i also just think it makes sense given how willing jeddie is to open up to yvonne. and even if they dont open up as much they still get along well and enjoy each others company!! i think yvonne also helped jedidiah open up somewhat - definitely not Fully obviously but i think they were a large part of jedidiah growing less sheltered, trying new things and generally becoming less of the EXTREMELY sheltered college jeddie thats scared of dyed hair. i think yvonne was a good influence on him, yk? pushed him out of his comfort zone in a way that sydney isnt always able to do necessarily due to the weirdness of their dynamic, sydneys pushes of jeddie to get out of his comfort zone tend to go too far and make jeddie uncomfortable whereas yvonnes seem to do more to be helpful - say what u will abt the skyrim dance scene but he definitely did loosen up and have fun lol

when sydney was comatose is trickier so thisll be more fuzzy since that whole timeline confuses me but based off of what yvonnes said about jedidiahs last year of college . my basic interpretation of yvonne and jedidiahs friendship at that time is that i think jedidiah began to start falling apart at the seams a little bit and began pushing people away and avoiding people and yvonne just sort of backed off a little because they werent totally sure what to do or say . yvonne references wanting to do a better job of helping jedidiah sooner than they did back then and yvonne seems to struggle with communicating with people sometimes - i think they didnt know what to say to jedidiah or how to help, and eventually things got so bad that there was nothing To do to help at all bc things just wouldnt get through to him even if you tried your best to help . i think yvonne and jedidiah largely get along due to their difficulty with emotional expression but i also think that became a major Flaw in their relationship as things went bad becaus i think jeddie couldnt ask for help an dyvonne couldnt bridge the gap

Murdoc pov

I sit on my bed and play with the bandage on my cheek. Dad's been drinking again. But this time Hannibal helped me clean it up and but the bandage, he didn't do a good job but better then me. A few seconds later I hear a knock on my door "yea?" I ask a bit scared In case it's dad, Hannibal opens the door. "Hey uh I'm going to a concert at that janky bar down town wanna come?" He asks. I'm a bit surprised, this has to be a joke or a prank, "uh sure" I answer hesitantly, Hannibal comes into my room more, he's holding clothes and a small think of eyeliner and eyeshadow that he probably stole from somewhere. "Ok we leave in 10, put these on then I'll try fix that ugly face of yours" he says as he throws some clothes at me then closes the door. I stand and put the clothes on, it's a slightly ripped black Sabbath shirt and some black pants with also rips and a pocket chain. It looks somewhat decent but smells of alcohol, cigarettes and cheap cologne. I open the door "I'm done" I say, Hannibal comes back into the room "stay still or I'll stab your eye out with this" he says as he starts putting what I'm guessing eyeliner on me then a very small bit of eyeshadow. "I did the best I could now come on let's go before dad comes out for another beer" he says then we begin walking out of the house. I step and a floor bored cracks, me and Hannibal look at eachother then run. "Idiot! Your dead when we get back!" He says while running, I try to catch up but hes older and runs faster. "Sorry!" I yell out while running. A few minutes later we both slow.down out of breath. "Goodluck when we get back, I'm not gonna stick up for you this time" he says as he catches his breath, I roll my eyes "yea yea I know" I say, a breeze flys by and I shiver since I'm only wearing a a ripped shirt and ripped jeans. "Hanni?..can I borrow your jacket please" I ask quietly, he groans and gives it to me "you mess it up even by a stich then I'll tell dad you hid his beer last week" I nod and put on the jacket "thanks". A few minutes later we get to the place, it's a janky bar in downtown, there's music playing loudly and a bunch of people in and outside, they all look like pink rockers or something. Hannibal grbs my arm "follow me cause if you get lost I won't try and find you" I nod and follow him, we get up close to the stage. A few minutes later the music gets louder and people start singing and playing on stage, the bass player catches my eye, such a cool instrument. Maybe I'll do that in the future but for now I'll focus on the best day of this childhood

RavenBand!Neil thoughts

Tws for acephobia, sa and yk, the traditional in aftg. Also I ignore the canon in some a lot of parts. Ah, and this is settled more in a present like time so, bear with me.

I personally love the idea of Nathaniel being SO out of touch with the world. This kids was brought in here from such a young, young age. And since day one, he's been number three.

He's been under Ichiro's wing control all this time, too. His only spare time is divided between some weird game called Exy and stuff like mostly trying to sleep.

Picture this little boy, who isn't even 15 yet, having a routine like: wake up, everything that comes in with self care for a star, daily warming ups and then fucking exploiting himself in both dancing and singing, for as long as his body can hold (and then, just a bit longer)

He then gets up, shakes his spirit until it's awake again and walks off to the room he shares with Jean. Nathaniel is performing in a piano in front of millions when he's not even able to reach the bathroom mirror without standing on his tiptoes yet. He's being perfectly presented to the world when he doesn't even have his own phone.

You know those sort of kids that fuck up their lives to shit like ballet, modelling and such? The ones who shine so brigth that their souls burn in the process? The ones that fight harder and harder every day because in something like art, the older you get the less attention you are given? The ones that cry out of pure rage when shit goes grown because they know how important it is for everything to work out? That's Nathaniel Wesninski, number 3 of the perfect group, brother property of Ichiro Moriyama, son of the butcher and caretaker of Jean Moreau.

So he grows up to be this sort of machine-like person when he's out of his room. The only real friend he has is Jean, because even when Kevin tries to be there, he always ends up running when Riko asks him to, and even if Ichiro finds Nathaniel somewhat better than his actual little brother, he knows what kind of person that man is.

Jean isn't exactly in a different situation, with his life literally being Riko's new toy... until it isn't, because Ichiro decides that if Riko gets Kevin is only fair that Nathaniel gets Jean, as if the two boys are some sort of fancy toys.

So what I'm trying to get to here is Nathaniel and jean bein horribly clueless to shit like sex innuendos. But Nathaniel especially, since he doesn't even feels something along those lines or at least not until some good five or so years after.

Even if Riko insist. So much. Sometimes, he wins those figths. Sometimes he doesn't.

Then they decide to stop being only a group that performs shit like weird ass contemporary dances or classical songs, all of them a very useful front for the business the Moriyamas needed to do. They ALSO become a "k-pop" band (because idk if u can call it that) and it's chaos.

And of course you all know about the sexualization of young artists, so I think that as soon as it's legal to do so, this "quality" of being absent minded to sex of Nathaniel is exploited. Suggestive pics that aren't actually graphic, but they are... interestingly placed and conceptualizd. Out of place comments that he never catches on or plays out as a joke. Riko hovering over him way too much when they are too close. Being asked to behave in certain ways with certain artists because that's what the fans want.

They turn the asexual boy into a sexual fantasy for the public.

Of course he becomes aware of it after Jean gets his own phone and fuck, that is a hard weekend.

But he's also used to it. And as someone who has a lot of bad behaviors, I know how fucking hard it is to get rid of them. Nathaniel just hating human contact when he isn't warned about it but also being all touchy with other people accidentally because he's been teached this since he was a child.

Like, sometimes I feel like people forget that hypersexuality is a response to trauma, too. I've even seen some people use this as some fort of excuse, and it really, really makes me feel so weird.

Just imagine it. Neil (former Nathaniel, and then former Niel) learning that even if he can be a bit too out of line, it's not his fault. He's heard those words before, Jean used to whisper them to him after bad nights, but Jean is Jean, and he can be so soft with Neil sometimes that it scares both of them. For them, those words were the same as saying that everything will be okay or we'll get trough this. They were never real words, they were just an expression of solidarity— just a bunch of attempts to survive in that hell of a place, even if they had it "better" than some of the others.

But then, there's Andrew. Andrew who just fucking kicks him in the legs when Neil attempts to get too close. Who only asks one time if Neil really doesn't like to swing even if they both know he's still being forced to play the game and then never brings the topic up. Andrew who only looks away, humming, that one time Neil had to undress in front of him. Andrew who keeps Nicky in line even when Neil can be seen as interested by the way he behaves. Andrew. Andrew who makes Neil understand what sex should feel like. Who makes him happy and makes him feel like he's floating in the short moments they get to be actually alone. Who makes Neil understand that even if he is pretty, even is he is hot, even if he is wanted, he should never be used. Never, never, never.

And then there is Aaron, see? They're a good duo. Aaron, who only pays attention to his scars when he sees his naked chest. Aaron, who looks like he doesn't care about life but slowly makes sure to never sit too close to Neil when it isn't necessary. Aaron who just straight up hates him but never hurts him. And it makes Neil so relieved and nauseous, to understand that even if he can be annoying, even if he is stubborn, even if he isn't wanted, he should never have to under go horrible punishments. Never, never, never.

im 5’4, a little bit chubby, with short, wavy brown hair. i usually like wearing stuff like jeans and hoodies/graphic t-shirts, and i really like converse and vans.

im a leo and im somewhat of an ambivert, if i find someone interesting to talk to, i like striking up conversation! (if im not too shy at the moment). im pretty academically smart but sometimes a bit clueless in social situations lol, but when im around friends, im always smiling and making jokes!

i like teasing people, whether they tease me back or not is equally great to me, its funny to see reactions either way sjfksfjsk. i feel at this point i should probably mention i tend to ramble sometimes, but i just love talking about my interests with someone i know will listen. i also love listening to people talk about things that interest them, for me its a way to get to know them.

i like watching tv and playing video games for hours on end, but i also really enjoy getting out of the house and exploring my town and wandering around the shops, and hanging out in the public library with my friends, or just getting outside and doing stuff. id basically do anything if it meant i got to hang out with my friends or s/o yk?

in terms of stuff i like, im kind of a collector, i like picking up candles, pretty jewelry, interesting books or games, cute plushies, anything that catches my eye! i do like drinking tea and coffee, and i have a huuuge sweet tooth. chocolates, cake, ice cream, i love basically anything sweet, im surprised my teeth havent rotted completely by now lmaoo

non lyle ask (bc my blog has been de-lylified <//3)but like. okay theres a lot a to expain here but okay first point ik some poeple know the games 20 questions as a game where you just ask the person ur playing with 20 questions abt them so incase tht is u i am refering to 20 questions as in a game where one person thinks of an object/person/character and the other players ask 20 yes or no questions abt what theyre thinking of then guess what it is theyre thinking of but the thing abt me(+my sibling+my cousin) is that despite always calling it 20 questions we never like, limit the amnt of questions to 20 we just ask the person questions until we guess the right answer and basically since my cousin has been facetiming me nd my sibling a lot lately weve also been playing 20 questions a lot on ft and basically we all facetimed today we talked for a bit etc then my sibling had to leave to do smth (the call was like. in our groupchat so like they cld leave and join again rly easily etc) so i decided to play 20 questions w my cousin and we play for a while nd have fun etc but after a while i was like "yk what im going to think of puss in boots even though they havent seen the movie i talk abt him a lot so they shld b able to get it easily" and like. they asked like standard questions but they like. were not getting it like i tihnk they got tht it was a male animated character from a movie but when they asked if the movie was on netflix it got kinda cofnusing bc like the last wish isnt on netflix isnt on netflix but the first puss in boots and two shrek movies hes in (for some reason netflix uk only has the last two shrek films like shrek 1+2 arent on there but shrek 3+4 are ??? so thts weird) so i was like some of the movies hes in are not netflix but not all of them and they got rly cought up on that (in hindsight i shld have probably said to ignore tht aspect but i did not think tht in the moment ig) and also like another thing. the iconic "becuase singing killed my grandma" scene from trolls has become somewhat of an inside joke with us bc its fucking insane and hilarious and like a few times when playing 20 questions together one of us will jokingly be like "oh did singing kill their grandma?" etc and like my cousin started asking like oh did singing kill his grandma did he break his neck tapdancing once (bc of the guys who says my uncle broke his neck tapdancing once during that scene literally would say the most insane movie scene ever but weve been lyle lyle posting all day) and like haha v funny (it actually was p funny the bit has not gotten old yet) i kept being like no and i almost was like "he has never died while singing or dancing" but then i remembered his eighth death was right before he was abt to sing a song so didnt say that but i did say "he did not break his neck while tapdancing once!" and apparently i put an emphasis on the word once becuase my cousin started being like did he break his neck tapdancing twice did he break his next tapdancing three times and at once point i was just like "he has never broken his neck tapdancing!" so then they were like " did he break his neck singing once" and i was like "he has not *broken his neck* while singing" b he did die right before singing like i said and then my sibling rejoined the call and we explained what was going on to them we were playing 20 questions my cousin said they new it was a male character from an animated movie and i said "[cousin name] is asking if he specifically broke his neck while singing once so i have to say no" and then my sibling was like "oh its puss in boots" which is just. the most incredible thingg that my sibling got it from me just saying that but it took my cousin so long and then i explained tht puss' eighth death happened before he was going to sing a song but then he got crushed by a bell and said that he died "ernesto de la cruz style" but my cousin was still like " didnt that happen to that one guy in coco? hector- no it was ernesto" but anyway. very funny story from today i think love and light <3

look i’m gonna be as nice about this as i can but i genuinely earnestly think the reason we have a whole generation of queer teens happily begging for table scraps from the walt disney corporation is because no one listens to welcome to night vale anymore. wtnv was a generations introduction to explicit positive queer rep, and for some people, myself included, queer rep at all. and it sets the bar at a reasonable place. from the first episode, our narrator, a man, is outright stated to be in love with another man. this is taken seriously, and treated as healthy and normal, rather than secret or shameful. once you have that, you can’t go back to crumbs. and you certainly can’t go back to pretending crumbs are a four course meal.

Eustass Kid

He can be brash and a bit much, but Kid has high respect for anyone who actually makes it onto his crew and can actually tolerate him, you included.

hi!! could i please have a danganronpa romantic matchup? sorry this is long i think!!

i’m a bi (asexual?) girl with an intp and 5w4 personality type. My sun is scorpio, my rising is libra and my moon is capricorn. i feel like she’d be a little intimidated to talk to you at first but as soon as she sees how sweet of a person you are, she’d start to feel more comfortable and less frantic like she normally is. you seem to have tons of interests and mikan knows a bunch of conversation topics. she would gladly learn about dinosaurs just to talk about them with you! she’d probably be nervous to talk to you and learn so many little facts about the things you like the night before so that she knew she would have something to talk about with you.

and she probably thinks your style is so cute!! the first thing she would say to you would probably be complimenting the way you dress or look just because she thinks it’s so cool!! like and it wouldn’t be some superficial compliment, it would be a genuine one like complimenting your eyes or how cute she thinks your shoes are. and even though she’s not very tall herself, she thinks how your short is so cute!

i also feel like her love language would be quality time as well!! sometimes she feels like she’s too awkward for conversations so just being there with your partner is nice for her. and she’d be so happy if you invited her to go shopping with you!! (she’d also be ecstatic if you let her try on one of your outfits but that’s another conversation) she’d love seeing what clothes you recommend for her and the ones you pick out for yourself!! honestly, she just really likes hanging out with you and spending time with you & she’d be happy for any date ideas you’d have for the two of you. walks during night!!!! she’d absolutely love that, even though she’d be concerned and worried at first for it being dangerous and not getting enough sleep at night is bad for your health, but as soon as you both start walking around at night she’d stop worrying about it and start enjoying the nightscape, the way it’s quieter at night, and how pretty the stars are. (if you do start running while on these walks and you trip and scrape your knee you know she’d be walking you back to the house, politely scolding you saying that you shouldn’t have been running and wrapping your knee in bandage)

ALSO back to store dates, she’d always bring extra quarters with her just to do the claw machines!!! and if it’s ones that you have to use the claw to grab the thing inside, and you asked her to ‘win’ the thing inside for you she’d be so nervous about messing up and not getting it, so she’d frantically wave her hands in front of herself, quickly talking about how she’ll mess it up somehow. spoiler alert: she actually would win the thing inside, despite being a nervous wreck.

i think mikan would have so many ideas for what to do on rainy days. like so many. she’d suggest so many things. baking together, board games, puzzles, painting, reading, making jewelry together, movie marathons, watching the rain, dancing in the kitchen, etc. but she’s completely fine with just relaxing and staying in bed for the day!!! (rainy days are my fave so i love writing abt rainy days)

arcade dates as well!! she knows you like games & pizza so that seems like a cute idea to her!! she would love watching u play the video games and would love it if you taught her how to play a game and would feel extra special if you let her know some of the little tips to the games.

i also think she’d be really giggly around you just because she’s so like,,, happy yk?

if you do make jokes around her and they offend someone, even if they don’t mean to, she’d say she thinks they’re funny anyways and laugh. she’s used to being bullied, she can tell the difference between being straight up mean and just joking around with friends. and she never thinks you’re annoying!! she’s always thought of herself to be a pest and to annoy others so she’d never want you to think of yourself that way!!

yeah it’s been slow-going for me too because of the amount of freak shit people post/have posted, as well as the fact that a lot of the high-kudos’d jm fics are from before s4 really ramped up their relationship development. and i’ve found i can get pretty picky about martin’s characterization. here’s a couple i’ve read and liked

feel the done days and you’re pulling through (1.8k) - jon deprogramming from being an avatar. living a very domestic and idyllic life. it’s adorable

1. can’t be helped (5.3k) 2. rituals (8.4k) - two fics in a series. very monster boyfriend. the first is martin losing his emotions to the lonely. the second is martin getting them back, but jon has been subsumed by The Archivist, which is figuring out what martin means to it. there was a moment in the second that made me go a little whoa hey! it was the archivist compelling martin. but it wasn’t anywhere near enough to make me stop reading. they were good, heartrending reads.

misshapes, mistakes, monsters (7.9k) - jon takes martin as his plus one to an oxford reunion. an enjoyable read, along with an almost cartoonishly villainous posh man. pining! “it’s nice to feel like i’m something worth protecting” arrrghhhh

small things, simple acts (6.6k) - post-159 fic. bookmarked this one! because they LOVE each other and TRY SO HARD for each other!!!! jon buys martin a stuffed cow because he saw martin looking at it and theyre TRYING for it. “There are a lot of things that Jon can’t give him, like safety or a normal life. But he can absolutely get him a stuffed toy just because he looks like he wants it.”

i’m almost me again, you’re almost you (12.9k) - you know when you try to feel feelings and it’s like touching a hot stove? that’s what martin does this whole fic as he’s recovering from the lonely and jon is being so achingly sweet and good with him, but martin can’t 1. deal with it just yet 2. believe that jon loves him back. post-159 fic. god. READING it felt like touching a hot stove, or stepping into warm bathwater with cold feet. jesus christ. excellent

fate, or something (107.8k) - this is that 100k blind date s1 canon divergence au, and i tried it out and i LOVED IT. martin has a spine! it’s just so sweet. they’re friends! martin works with melanie for ghost hunt uk! a great read. it’s that sloooowwww burn shit.

forever is composed of nows (5.9k) - jon meets martin (a single dad) and martin’s daughter (agnes! who had good writing for a child in a fanfiction) in the library and things grow from there. this fic is SO CUTE. it’s wonderful. i literally had to take breaks while reading it to make wild animal noises because i couldn’t deal with it. god. it’s so good. UGH (thanks to @infernallegaycy for the rec!)

and i won’t pray for an unfilled grave (5.9k) - daisy after coming out of the buried. daisira and daisy&melanie bonding. WOMENNNNN I LOVE WOMEN

hello my old heart (15.8k) - jess @thedistortion, the person who got me into tma and a dear pal, wrote this, and their brain is utterly huge and good. i love this so much. a deeply excellent post-159 fic that i would also say is pre-160. so many parts of this make me gasp and clutch my chest! but it also has an excellent realism to it. spiders that enrage me. please read.

yesterday is here (26.6k+, WIP) - post-canon jon and martin travel back in time and hang out with the pre-canon crew and attempt to make everything better. guaranteed happy ending. it’s so sweet watching jon be so kind and gentle and Better At People with his coworkers and make things right - and the s1 jon and martin fumble at seeing their extremely married and Knowing counterparts.

a measure outside the lines (22.9k) - i looove post-159 fics that show that martin hasn’t been completely severed from the lonely and still really struggles with it. this one is EXCELLENT at it. there’s some moments in this one that just made me totally ache because oh… oh martin. it’s so wonderful and has such excellent emotional catharsis

interlude (7.8k) - s3 au where georgie meets martin over facetime with jon! makes me wistful for the friendship they could have had without all the coping mechanisms in the way. the fond teasing is very cute. the pining! the banter! the slips of the tongue! very, very enjoyable.

skin deep (3.1k) - another s3 au where georgie meets martin on better terms - she calls him for help after jon’s meeting with jude (as jon’s locked himself in his room). the way jon leans on martin and lets him in and just… the way he behaves around him. very sweet.

bury my heart on the coals (3.6k+, WIP) - au where martin was one of gertrude’s assistants who is now a ghost haunting the archives. i’m enjoying how he’s so judgmental of jon and all the little signs of Haunting that jon and the assistants are experiencing.

nor any more youth or age than there is now (6.5k) - outsider pov of jon being a primary school teacher in scotland post 159!! so, so sweet. i LOVE outsider pov stories and this one is so good. jon using his powers to protect his students and displaying all that character growth he’s had… the glimpses of his domestic life with martin… it’s adorable. please check it out.

take sides in divided cells (3.4k) - in an idyllic domestic post-canon, martin’s father tries to reconnect with him. from jon’s pov, so it’s a lot of him worrying about martin and then being protective. oof! oof! emotional hurt/comfort.

pieces of you stuck on me (1.9k) - spy au. a little snapshot - i enjoy all the implied backstory going on. the thrill! the longing! the suspense! and i’m generally a sucker for spy aus, i’ll be real.

be kind, i beg you (14.9k) - post 159. oh this one is so achey… i love it. jon obsessing over “loved is past tense” and trying so hard to be Good to martin, while martin deals with mood swings from his recent emotional traumas. they try really hard and are very domestic, talk about gardening, and clean up the safehouse. LOVED THIS.

Hi, ty for asking! This is really hard to narrow down lol, but I tried.

In no particular order:

Guts/Griffith - Berserk

The current otp ofc. What can I say that I haven’t already said all over this blog?

Will/Hannibal - NBC Hannibal

This is my ideal ship. It’s stupid how perfect it is. It’s basically my ideal slowburn longfic but yk as a 3 season gorgeously shot and acted tv show.

Doctor/Master (especially Three/Delgado Master, and excluding het combinations lol) - Doctor Who

This ship is fantastic because it’s so versatile. You want childhood friends to lovers (to enemies)? Gallifrey era. You want bitter exes or frenemies with benefits? Three/Delgado. Five/Ainley was never my thing but if you want creepy villain/plucky hero there you go. You want former enemies who now live together in weird domestic bliss? Shalka. You want pathetic desperate protag willing to throw his ideals along with the rest of the world under a bus to get laid? Ten/Simm. It’s even got its own rairpairs, like cross era combinations or Two/Warchief. This ship can run the gamut from fluff to angst to serious darkfic and never be ooc. It’s a delight.

Harry/Draco - Harry Potter

I mean I loved it when I was 14 and even though I couldn’t care less about Harry Potter now it’s still there for me. Like, if I want to read something gay and can’t find anything that strikes my fancy? I turn to drarry man, there’s so much genuinely fantastic novel length fic out there, you’ll never run out.

Xena/Gabrielle - Xena: Warrior Princess

Xena/Gab is an odd ship for me because they’re not really my type lol. Friends to lovers is something I’ve always been a little meh about, and while they have their tense and interesting and complex moments their appeal is mainly the soulmate thing. But this ship makes the list for two reasons: 1. they are immensely fun to watch together, like what they lack in an interesting dynamic they make up for in chemistry, and it’s a delight to watch the show and soak in all the ott subtext, and 2. Conqueror AUs. There’s a subgenre of Xena fic where Xena never turned good and met Gabrielle while she’s ruling the known world with an evil iron fist, and some of that has the good dynamics.

Fraser/Ray Vecchio - Due South

Honestly the main reason I ship them is because I love Ray and Ray loves Fraser, and Ray is one of those very rare faves that I actually want to be happy lol. But they do have a really interesting, and somewhat unique for me dynamic - Fraser prioritizes the abstract concept of duty over everything else, to really destructive lengths at times, while Ray prioritizes Fraser over everything else, also to really destructive lengths at times, and this leads to an unbalanced but v interesting relationship. Especially because like, this isn’t just a result of the show prioritizing Fraser lol, the narrative is very aware of this dynamic and explores it in interesting ways.

Eve/Villanelle - Killing Eve

I was into it from the start, and completely sold when Eve stabbed Villanelle. They’ve got the interesting shifting power dynamics, the disparate morals edging towards meeting in the middle, the violence, the chemistry, even the cute little domestic moments here and there. tbh I am a little.. nervous about where this show is going with them, because I am concerned they’re playing the Villanelle as a psychopath who can’t ~genuinely love~ thing straight, which could not be less interesting to me, but still, so far I’ve gotten more than enough material to keep me happy and hopeful.

D/Leon - Pet Shop of Horrors

In general they’re just a ridiculously fun dynamic, like come on. You’ve got the odd couple thing, you’ve got Leon switching between criminally investigating D and basically coparenting his brother with him, they all go on vacation together at one point, they have like, a dragon kid together, and who doesn’t love the married couple bickering? Also the ending [vague spoilers] is exactly the kind of sad romance I love. They both realize they’re in love, and D chooses to run the fuck away because he doesn’t know how to love a human, while Leon chooses to run the fuck after him for the rest of his life if that’s what it takes. This is technically subtext, but only barely.

Troy/Abed - Community

They had me at the Somewhere Out There duet. I stopped caring about the show after season 3 and I’ve only seen a few episodes since, but man when Community was good it was great and Troy and Abed were the mvps and clear otp of the show. Tragic that Harmon couldn’t commit beyond gay jokes tbh, but at least we’ll always have the romantic zombie episode.

Starsky/Hutch - Starsky and Hutch

This is a bit of a weird choice because I was never super into the fandom, like I haven’t read much fic, and I watched the show back in like my first year of university but not really since because like, it’s a 70s cop show lol, there’s not a whole lot that’s worth watching about it. But man, Starsky and Hutch are the damn kings of the extremely emotionally intense homoerotic friendship. Their off the charts chemistry and constant hurt/comfort plots were next level, and fully engaging and super fun to watch despite everything else.

(Also the 4th season is terrible, but shockingly good and ridiculously coherent if you watch it with the understanding that in between season 3+4 they had sex or made out or something and Starsky freaked out and Hutch is alternately depressed and pissed off at Starsky for his avoidance. Like that reading legit ties everything together lol, from their suddenly strained relationship to random jokes(?) like Hutch encouraging Starsky to try free word association, giving him the word “closet” to start, and Starsky getting mad about it for no reason. And in the 4th to last episode (production order) they clearly finally get together for real, in the coda to Starsky vs Hutch. I mean come on they fight while dating the same woman and then make up off screen and the final scene is the two of them meeting her in a bar and telling her she gets both together or neither, then walking away with their arms around each other when she turns them down.

I may have just wanted to ramble about this lol.)

this was inspired ofc by my favorite beings in the world: roaches. jk. i h8 them so much & theres so many in our house and i just wan di3 but i decided to write this shtsterpiece instead. anyway here it goes enjoy or wutevs! jk.

You were cuddling with your boyfriend Jungkook on the sofa in his dorm, while watching a movie with all of your friends, (all of the other bts members + you're all uni students btw) when an unwanted visitor decides to fly and land on top of jk's TV.

It was your most hated winged creature to ever exist on this entire fracking planet, and it doesn't help the fact that your mortal enemy could withstand a nuclear explosion. Although they aren't that invincible, and could easily be killed by being squashed, hit with a slipper, or by being sprayed with an insect spray. You still hate that a few of them can survive high levels of radioactivity. Anyway, going back to the bothersome cockroach that's stressing you a lot, maybe more than your weabooass-mayhaps-secretly-or-not-so-secretly-a-furry-gamer boyfriend, the horrid thing just flew again, now towards your direction. Making you flinch and scream a little, also making your boyfriend surprised by your sudden movement and screaming. "Baby are you okay?" he asked in a worried tone. "Guk...there's a jungcockroach. Kill it please, you know I hate it so much." you told him in a pleading voice.

"Where? and did you really have to call it jungcockroach?" he asked, and you looked around trying to find where the fck it is now, "Idk, it flew in our direction and oh- there it is! just right next to you on the wall! omg kill it! get it away from me!" you screamed, startling jungkook. Which also made him scream in his high pitched voice, because he was shocked. Your friends also wondered why you were screaming and shouting, and when they finally saw the reason why, they were alarmed too. Hoseok screamed and said, "OMG I'm going out of this room until you kill it. ohmygod I hate bugs!" Jin also screamed loud and decided to follow him out of the room. Joon, yoongi, jimin, and tae didn't seem too bothered. They just looked concerned for you.

The cockroach flew again, but it went to the floor, and crawled somewhere in the room. You weren't that scared of it now, that it wasn't flying anymore. But it still wasn't dead, and you were still a little afraid if it reappears, and flies again. Though, you could blame your boyfriend's scaredy ass for not killing it and just screaming at it. Like you did.

"Guk, why didn't you kill it? you just screamed like those undercover agent guys from that white chicks movie." you asked him, mocking the way he sounded a bit, cos he screamed like a girl. "In my defense, I was shookt because you screamed, which made me scream too." he said rather defensively. "Really? or is it because you're afraid of cockroaches like me too? oh my god. and I merely agreed to date you, because I thought someone would finally protect me and kill these pests for me. You were such a badass when i met you though, it turns out you're just as scared of them as I am. How saddening," you asked him, and joked about only dating him because you thought he'd kill these annoying pests for you. But he didn't quite get it and took it a bit seriously to which he replied,

"I just don't like them or bugs in general okay? It doesn't mean I'm scared of them. And what do you mean you merely agreed to date me because you thought I'd kill em for you? I clearly remember you saying, you'll date me because my big cock's a keeper." he said smugly, to which your friends faces wrinkled in disgust. "Um, guys we're still here, pls don't forget." Jimin had said.

"Sorry guys. But sure, whatever you say baby guk, don't worry I won't break up with you. Even though you're scared of bugs," you teased jungkook. "I really am not scared of damn cockroaches though, that pest should show up now. And I'll prove to you that I'm not scared of them." He said too proudly, and not long after, it did show up flying towards his shirt. He tried to fight it, but he shook it off his body instead. Staring at it wide-eyed after doing so til it fell to the ground, and jimin stomped it with his foot, and all his might, ending the nasty thing's pathetic life. "Well, you really proved you're not scared of them gukie. Thanks to jimin though," you said sarcastically. "Jimin ssi, you should become my new boyfriend. I'm breaking up with gukie, cos I need a brave man with real balls to protect me." you told jimin coming up to him, but you really just wanted to get jungkook worked up. Jungkook just glared at you looking annoyed. You actually succeeded in getting under his nerves.

While you were busy teasing jungkook, you didn't notice another cockroach appearing. But this time jungkook had an evil plan, "Um hyungs, why don't y'all go out for a bit. I'm just gonna talk to y/n about our relationship, or whatever that's left of it." he said, feigning to look angry, being like the great actor he is. Sensing that you and jk might have a couple fight, the hyungs obeyed and went out of the room, leaving the two of you alone.

"Y/N, how unfortunate, it's just the two of us left, jimin can't protect you now." Jungkook said with an evil smirk. "What do you mean guk? he killed the cockroach already, I won't have to worry about one for awhile." you replied. Jk found it amusing you didn't even see another cockroach crawling towards you.

"Oh. But what if there's another one? idk baby, but I think that nasty thing crawling towards you looks like a fracking cockroach to me." He said triumphantly, and when you looked down, it was indeed another annoying roach. You moved away from it, but it looked like it was crawling towards the wall instead. "JK kill it please, I can't deal with another one again ughhh. Why won't they stop attacking me?" you were so annoyed and distressed, you just wanted to disappear forevs. "What's that baby? you want me to kill it? oh i dunno if I can though cos I'm so scared of bugs, maybe you could do it yourself since you're so brave. Or you could call jimin, but I think they went home already. Anyway, maybe I'm gonna go out for a bit. Goodluck with your friend..." his cocky ass said, heading for the door.

But he isn't really gonna leave you alone with that nasty pest right? you won't let him. "Ughhh baby I take it all back. You're not a coward, you're the strongest and bravest person in the world! so get rid of the nasty creature now pleaseee." you said loud enough so he can hear and reconsider leaving you to die by the hands of a dirty cockroach, "Really? just awhile ago, you were saying you were gonna leave me for jimin though. But since I'm a merciful being, I'll help you and do it, if you beg again nicely and do something for me in exchange." he wants you to beg again and do something for him, of course. "Fine. "Well since you asked nicely, I'll get rid of it now for you, baby." he then approached the oblivious insect which was now at the wall, it didn't fly yet but before it could do so, jk had hit it with a book making the roach fall to the floor. He then proceeded to stomp on it, to make sure it wouldn't live anymore. "Done, that was gross. Oof. I didn't realize I used Jin hyung's book that I borrowed to kill it. Maybe I'll just tell him to wipe the cockroach's juices off of it." he said uncaringly.

"Ew. Shouldn't you wipe it yourself before you give it back, like a good person? Anyway, thanks for doing it for me baby, I knew you were still a bit scared but you still did it anyway. And I really was just joking when I said I only agreed to date you, so you could protect me. Ok, maybe that wasn't entirely false, but i love you, you brave bun perfect or not. And I wouldn't trade you for anything in the world." You were being soft, but he just had to remind you of the thing he asked for, in exchange of getting rid of the pest.
