Part of me wonders if there’s a little part of the Dreaming dedicated to JUST Dream’s memories and thoughts.

Like I get the whole Dreaming is part of his mind and his being as much as his physical manifestation is, but there’s got to be some little corner that is dedicated to him that would be considered his mind alone even tho his mind- by necessity of his function- is never his own. And like, does that little part of the Dreaming stay when Morpheus!Dream gives way to Daniel!Dream?

Daniel just sort of.... wanders into it and it helps him to learn what it is exactly he’s supposed to do and how he can do it but there’s also this sort of unbearable loneliness to this corner of the Dreaming that stings in a way that has him appearing in his mother’s living room so he can have a hug and cup of tea.

I think I’m losing it just a tad. I’ve started another (yes another) rewatch of House M.D. (Hate-crimes M.D.) and I’ve begun taking notes to each episode and marking down significant scenes. This says a lot about me (autism). I am having the worst (and best) time of my life.
