not my mom complaining that my sister never listens or follows directions as if that's not literally due to her never getting consequences for anything she does
#like obviously she's not gonna do what you tell her to do#because every time you tell her what to do she know it's empty and meaningless#it's such a pain being the parentified oldest sister because i'm constantly battling between 'its not my job to raise her so who cares'#and 'i could do this better why don't they listen to me'#and ik i'm only thinking about any of this BECAUSE of the parentification#but like i'm begging them to just give her 1 ONE measly consequence#or otherwise she'll never learn. she'll just keep understanding that if she refuses enough#my mom will back down because it's easier to back down than to raise her right#and my dad is as uninvolved as you can be without being NC#i know i'm only the way that i am because of my own personality traits not anything external
