looking at the npmd tumblr posts I'm kinda glad that we seem to be all on the same page when it comes to npmd's portrayal of bullying and that putting a stop to it isn't as easy as simply having the victims stand up to them - examples being Max still beating the shit up out of Pete, Richie, and Ruth even when they make a stand in their own way. Standing up to them directly and telling them "i'm not a loser" or "you're just a bully" or something along those lines in order to take away their power is simply a disproven cliche because bullies don't care if their victims retaliate. They only care about the power they hold and when such power is taken away from them by force - so kudos to Starkid for having bullying portrayed as not just a regular schoolboy nuisance but as genuinely life-threatening shit that needs to be taken seriously because if it isn't nipped in the bud, once that bully gains more power, they will grow crazy with it.

DC X DP PROMPT IDEA:
Damian, after he decides he wants to live a normal life, creates comics in college. With permission from the Supers -namely Clark- he creates a comic series based on characters from a destroyed alien planet (obviously not giving the planet a specific name) who crash land on Earth and have to live as normal humans, despite obviously not being human.
They're a peculiar family of aliens who disguise themselves as humans who take an interest in ghosts. The characters settle down in a town in the middle of nowhere with their kids (who want a normal 'human' life with nothing to do with their parents weird ghost hobby). What the family doesn't know is that the government has found out about them and plans on capturing them (unaware that they could transform into humans).
Damian really only creates the comic as something that'll give his brain something to focus on. It becomes popular and gains a rising fan base. Eventually Damian's editor (do comic artist creators have editors?) asks him to make it a full series, with a full storyline and plot with an ending that'll leave the fans satisfied.
(Damian is going by an anonymous name as he sees the comic as something he does for fun.)
He complies, and it becomes more and more known.
The Supers love it, as they see that the characters are similar to their personalities.
Meanwhile, one Danny Fenton is wondering how a comic artist has captured his family (without being aliens, obviously) to a T.

DP x DC: Homme Fatale
Noun. homme fatal (plural hommes fatals) An ultimately seductive and dangerous man; a womanizer.
On a bit of a Film Noir kick right now, so blame that
Imagine, if you will:
Danny, a private eye in Gotham, ever the hard boiled detective, sitting in his dark office, drinking coffee you could use to tar a roof. The office isn't in a good neighborhood but rent still ain't cheap. He's fixing to get a new case on his desk soon
Enter one Timothy Drake-Wayne, CEO of Wayne Enterprizes. He walked in shirt unbuttoned dangerously low in a suit sharp enough to cut yourself on and bags under his eyes to large to be counted as carry on. Mr. Drake has a job for him, one he wants to keep quite, and one important enough that he's willing to add a couple zeros to Danny's usual rate. This job is a dream come true... almost too good to be true...
or
Tim Drake aka Red Robin(yummm) needs plausible deniability on a case tied to his civilian identity and so hires a PI and lays down a trail of clues for him. All the while playing up the Noir tropes to flirt with the cute detective.
why doesn't he just take care of it as Red Robin? Shhhhh... the detective is cute and he's having too much fun playing the homme fatale
Bonus: Immediately after wrapping up Tim's case Kon walks into Danny's office dolled up in a vintage dress, period appropriate makeup done, all to play the part of the Femme Fatale and do the exact same thing Tim did. Does he know Tim literally just did that? Maybe, maybe not
