#been thinking a lot about how whenever i have a dream or an idea marinating in my brain for long enough it then becomes something that i am#determined to pursue. and that no one can really dissuade me from#it simply becomes a permanent part of my creative direction in life#i guess you could say that's kind of the same thing as having a special interest but not QUITE#like for example. what i'm thinking of right now is my desire to start a band#and i come up with a lot of crazy ideas on a day to day basis but a good amount of them end up being simply fleeting or dictated by my mood#the ones that stay though... those are the one that actually HAPPEN#i've wanted to sing in a band for at least a year now#to be honest it's probably been longer but it's been at least a year of me being consciously aware of it#and it just made me realize. this desire has stuck around in my brain for quite a while now#and i think that means it is going to happen someday#i don't know exactly how yet because the way i originally thought it might happen (me going to music college) didn't work out#but it's been a year and i'm still thinking about it and keeping my eyes open in case i meet the right people to make music with#i know from experience that when i put my mind to something i WILL get it done#in the sense that i will surprise myself with how stubborn i can be when it comes to not stopping chasing my dreams#and i've had big goals in the past that i did achieve because of this#i'm also like. surprisingly adaptable??? i only recently learned that about myself but i be pulling Plan B's out of my sleeves#so that's all to say -- i'm choosing to believe that i will start my band someday and it will be better than i can imagine right now#and in general i'm choosing to believe that the things i truly love and truly want in my life will only become more clear over time#even if i'm confused and lost at times NOW... if i keep moving forward in time it will all make sense#and a lot of times situations do work out exactly the way they were meant to but in the most unexpected of ways#i don't know how coherent this all was but yeah#starting a band is only the most recent example#belle speaks

hi baby!! dont worry!! it was about reader getting so stressed and annoyed while building a gingerbread house that they throw it in the garbage because its going all wrong and carmy finds it hilarious lol then he builds one for her hehe<3 love u
Tumblr media
Perfectionist.
Your boyfriend being a professional chef has its perks - especially when it comes to gingerbread houses.
pairing - carmen berzatto x female reader warnings - cursing word count - under 1k!! short and sweet author's note - just a little dose of carmy at christmas for you. thanks baby angel for sending this request in (twice!!) <3
masterlist. inbox.
Tumblr media
"Fuck this."
Carmy hears your raised voice and immediately comes running, coming to a halt in the doorway of the kitchen.
"You good, baby?"
"No."
The frown on your face is amusing him to no end, fighting to keep his smile from breaking out. He doesn't want to minimise your feelings, but you're cutest when you're mad.
Carmy takes in the scene in front of him, surveying carefully. There's chunks of gingerbread scattered across the table, icing dripping from the tablecloth. Your kitchen looks like a candy store exploded - sweets in red, green and blue littered over every surface. You're caked in frosting, hair falling into your eyes as you take deep breaths to try to keep your anger at bay.
"I knew this wouldn't be easy, but fuck me, Carmy... I'm on the brink of a breakdown here."
He makes his way over, grinning like an idiot. It's not often he gets to help you with things - you're fiercely independent, determined to get stuff done all by yourself. He likes teaching you, getting to feel like he's easing your worries a little.
"You want my help?"
"I said I'd do it," you huff, on the verge of stamping your feet and pushing the table over.
"It won't kill you to ask for what you need, baby."
You roll your eyes, bottom lip caught between your teeth. It's difficult for you to admit defeat, but you might rip your hair out if your gingerbread collapses one more time.
"Can you help me, Carm?" you whisper.
"What was that, honey? Say it again?"
You sigh in exasperation, slumping back into your chair.
"Can you help me, Carmen? Please?"
He beams at you like the cat that got the cream, making his way over to sit next to you at the table.
"Lets start again, hmm?"
"Good idea."
You pick up the remnants of your gingerbread house and throw them so forcefully, the trash can almost tips over. Carmy laughs, wrapping his arms around you from behind.
"I think we've finally found the one thing you're not good at, honey. It's a Christmas miracle."
You can't help but chuckle, leaning your head back to rest against his shoulder. He presses a kiss or four into your neck, nosing at the spot under your ear.
"Okay, Mr Michelin Star. Show me what you got."
You bake, first, Carmy explaining how to get the perfect texture you need for structural soundness. He even gets out a ruler, measuring the rolled out dough so the sides will be even.
He kisses you lazily while your gingerbread is in the oven. You're propped up on the counter as he stands between your legs, arms thrown around his shoulders. He tastes like cinnamon and spice, groaning when you lick the sugar straight from his tongue.
When it's cooled, you begin your assembly, sitting back while Carmy trims and remeasures. He draws out a template with a pencil and cuts accordingly, ensuring each piece has a straight edge. You watch in awe as he works, so careful, so attentive. You're fighting not to jump his bones at any given moment.
It's time to build, and Carmy has the perfect plan. He's made a thickened sugar syrup that acts as a glue, hardening when it dries and keeping everything together. His tongue darts out to wet his lips as he concentrates, determined not to mess this up for you.
He steps back, then, to let you decorate. You clearly have a vision, your picturesque idea of what you wanted your original creation to look like. Carmy makes you multiple bags of icing in different colours, and melts down candies so you can make windows and doors. He opens packets of chocolates, and carves into them with a knife to make little trees for the yard.
Hours later, when you're both covered in powdered sugar and melted chocolate, you step back to admire your masterpiece.
"Holy shit, Carm."
"We did good, huh?"
"Is there like, a business in this? Can we do this for a living?"
He laughs, the sound vibrating through you from where his chest his pressed to your back. He's got you tightly in his arms, swaying gently to the soft music that plays from the radio.
"What were you saying about finding the one thing I wasn't good at, Berzatto? Hmm?"
He spins you, pressing his forehead into yours.
"I take it back. I take it all back, baby. You're good at everything."
"Especially gingerbread houses."
"Especially gingerbread houses."
You lean up to kiss him, wiping some frosting off his cheek with your thumb.
"Thanks for not making me feel like an idiot."
"I would never. Life is a learning curve, baby, You taught me that."
"I love you," you whisper. "And just so you know, we're never eating that. It's going to have to be display only."
He laughs, full chested and whole hearted, moving his hands to cradle your face.
"I love you too, baker extraordinaire. We don't need to eat it, anyway. We've got all this candy to get through."
You reach behind him to pick up a chocolate, tossing it into your mouth.
"It isn't as sweet as you," you wink.
A blush rises up his cheeks as he rolls his eyes, pulling you in closer.
"Merry Christmas, baby."
"Merry Christmas, Carmen."

This might sound strange... writing a romance I started to see romantic potential between my lead and a side character, rather than strictly between the two leads... I'm starting to swerve. How can I suit my writing/mindset to keep the relationship with the side character platonic?
When characters develop minds of their own...
Writing is one of those mediums where people tend to overlook the importance of experimentation. It's seen as a fairly linear process: brainstorm, map the plot, write the draft, edit the draft, publish. If any other type of creation was done this way, most would see the process as incomplete, because experimentation is imperative to creativity. Curiosity is the key to finding satisfaction, and no matter how brilliant you think an idea is at its conception, the best way to do it justice is to question it.
If you find yourself in a situation where your story begins to develop outside your control, don't strangle it back into the shape you imagined for it at first. See where it goes. Let it bleed outside the lines and see what you prefer. You can always return to the original plan. The beauty in fiction is that it has infinite possibility, and if you have the talent to write characters and worlds that determine their own trajectory, enjoy the reward.
In your case, you've designed a romance between two characters but the chemistry of a different pairing has become more compelling, so see what happens. There is a good chance you've simply written a secondary character that serves the story better in a leading role, and there's no harm in experimenting to see if that's correct. If it doesn't work and you're convinced the relationship is more suitable in the platonic category, you will find the reason along the way and that reason will speak for itself as you return to writing the original pairing. If anything, this might become an organic way for you to misdirect the reader in order to make the payoff of your original idea more substantial.
Writing should be an intuitive process. If you're swerving in another direction, satiate your curiosity and then make decisions with all of the information. Just like any other artistic medium, you will only know what's right once you've established what isn't.
Best of luck,
x Kate

The Bottle - Carlos Sainz x Reader
Plot: You'd always believed in soulmates, in your culture an old tradition was that a person would send out a letter in a glass bottle for their soulmate with clue's requesting the person who found it comes to find them.
Tumblr media
Carlos walked along the long stretch of sand with his cousin. It was summer and they were vacationing in Mallorca in the family property.
They'd gone for a morning jog keeping up with his fitness plan for over the summer break ready for the second stint of his F1 season.
"What's that?" Carlos mumbles looking down at the glass bottle buried half in and half out of the season. He reaches down to pick it up but his cousin smacks his hand away.
"It could be broken and hurt you!" he exclaims looking at Carlos in shock as to why he would be so silly.
"It's not broken look, there's a note inside I'm intrigued!" he says pulling it out the sand and popping the cork off the top that was keeping the paper dry.
He pulls the paper out looking and reading the note on it.
Dear Soulmate, If you picked this up, it's because something called you too. In my culture when we do this and someone picks it up it means their our soulmate. I now have to give you clues and if you're intrigued enough you'll come find me. My name is Y/N and I'm 21 years old. Clue 1: I'm from country known for it's monarchy! Clue 2: I have a degree in fashion design from a top university Clue 3: 2021 Clue 4. I work under Mr McQueen Clue 5. 36 Clue 6. Enbankment Yours Sincerely, Your Soulmate.
"No way!" Carlos laughs re-reading it! He stuffs it in his pocket, knowing to take it home and look more into it.
"What was it!" his cousin asks looking over.
"Nothing!" he exclaims not wanting his cousin to think he was crazy, but Carlos had a strong belief in fate. This meant that of course he would come and find you.
You had actually sent that bottle out years ago on your 21st birthday in Australia, you were now 24 and thriving in your career as a fashion designer in Alexander McQueen.
You'd forgotten about the bottle since you'd done it, for a few months after you hoped someone would have found it but it slowly become one of those things you just forgot about.
For Carlos, he returned home with the note in his jacket pocket and he set it down on his desk.
He couldn't help but giggle re-reading over the clues and note. As a famous F1 driver he found the working under McQueen funny, but that didn't lead him too much.
But his best chance would be to join Lando for the week before the British Grand Prix, as he knew that you'd be in the UK. According to clue 1.
"Lando, please take this seriously this is a real person I want to find her!" he exclaims shoving the photocopied version of the original letter as he didn't want to destroy it.
"Okay, right so you've determined she's a uni student from the UK. There's like over 150 universities here so it's going to be impossible especially if we don't know what year she graduated" Lando sighs looking down the clues.
"Well, what about Clue 3, 2021, you recon that's when she graduated?" he asks and Lando puts a finger on his chin, thinking for a moment.
"It could be, but that would mean she also would have sent it out in 2021, how did this survive for four years at sea!" Lando exclaims looking over at Carlos who has his head tilted in shock.
"What do you mean?" he asks.
"Well, the youngest you can graduate is 21 in the UK, so if she did it in 2021, at age 21 she would now be 24?" Lando admits.
"And it says top UK, university that's either Oxford or Cambridge. And only Cambridge have a specific one called Fashion Design" Lando explains after some research making some deductions.
"Take me there!" Carlos says suddenly.
"To Cambridge... no mate! Look there's other clues. She's got a fashion degree, is in the UK and works under Mr McQueen, she probably is a designer in London HQ of Alexander McQueen which would explain Embankment!" Lando deducts and Carlos just has a shocked look on his face the whole time.
"What is Enbankment?" he asks.
"It's an underground station, I bet that's the station she uses to get home, to Apartment 36 perhaps?" Lando asks.
"Fuck onlyfans, if F1 fails become a god damn detective!" Carlos says pulling him into big hug before letting go and pulling shoes and a coat.
"Where are you going?" Lando shouts after him.
"The McQueen HQ building!" Carlos shouts back.
"Do you even know where it is?" he asks making Carlos pause.
"No, but I'll find it!" he shouts back before running out the door.
He tries to find his way around the underground system of London before googling the HQ and where it was. He eventually got there into the reception checking to see it was 4pm, not the end of office work day so maybe he would catch you.
"Hi there, really sorry. Looking for a Y/N?" he asks and the older lady looks over at him with a frown.
"Business?" she says in a posh British accent.
"Erm..." he couldn't think of anything to say.
"She's a friend of mine from Uni, from Cambridge" he smiles and she looks over him.
"Well, you just missed her, she left for the day about 10 minutes ago!" she offers and he sighs.
"Enbankment!" he says before running out the building. He runs down to the underground and he starts to look around all the people on the platform.
You were stood there, leaning against the underground wall and reading your book.
Carlos eyes were darting around the platform, he could make deductive reasoning. He was looking for a 24 year old fashionista and when his eyes met yours, it was like something in him just knew that it was you.
You looked at him with your head cocked to the side in confusion as to why this man was looking like that as you. However, as the tube pulled into the station your gaze wavered as you made your way on.
Carlos was in awe that he wasn't moving until someone ran past him to try catch the door. He realized you were gone and must be on the train, so he did the same getting on as the doors were closing into separate compartment.
He waited and at every stop he'd poke his head out to see if you got off. At one particularly busy stop, some people get off and a bunch of people push on before he can poke his head out, he gravitates back towards the front and sees your hair in the little bow walk away and towards the exit.
He pushes through and jumps out the doors just as they are about to close. He runs up the only stairs that are there seeing you at the top swiping a rail card onto the scanner and being let out of the gates.
He runs foreward swiping his own card.
"Hello, sir... can we take a minute of your time to talk about Climate Change!" a protester stops him, with a smile on his face where he looks behind her to see you stepping out into the sun lit street.
"I'm really sorry! No! I'm late to meet someone!" he explains before pushing past and running through the gate swiping the Oyster Card he owned from when he worked with McLaren.
He runs out onto the street where you did letting his eyes adjust to the light as he looks around for you. His eyes catch the long dress you were wearing, it was colourful and red, a colour he considered his since working for Ferrari.
He saw you walking into a building block and started to run towards the traffic lights and presses the button straight away. He waits for the green man before running across apologising to anybody he bumped into. He finds the entrance seeing security there and panics.
God they'd think he was crazy if he asked them to let him in. But then again. He was Carlos Sainz!
"Hey, I was hoping i could look round the building. I'm thinking of letting a place!" he smiles his puppy smile at the two guards on the gate who turn to him with stoic expressions before noticing who it is.
"Yeah sure! That's fine! Can we get a picture with you? Me and my son are huge fans!" he exclaims making Carlos nod. After he walks into the building looking around for a map of where rooms were.
36 - thats what he was looking for.
17th floor, he got into the lift and pressed the number shooting up. He fixed his hair in the lift getting nervous to meet you, this complete stranger.
Why was he even doing this?
He exists the elevator and walks down the corridor to your apartment and stands outside. He waits for what feels like forever before he knocks on the door.
He waits and then there you are in front of him.
"Hi" he breathes out looking over your gorgeous features.
"Can I help you?" you ask looking over him. You could sort of remember his face, but from where you didn't know right now.
"Erm, I!" he starts.
"Wait your the guy i saw in the tube, did you ... follow me here?" you ask stepping out the apartment shutting the door behind you so he couldn't get in if he was a crazy person.
"Yes. But, your Y/N, you should be 24 right now. You went to Cambridge and studied Fashion design and live in a country with a famous monarchy. You work for a Mr McQueen which actually means Alexander McQueen where you use the tube to get to work each day and live at apartment 36" Carlos breathes out all in one breath, you cock your head to the side in curiosity wondering why they were such specific facts until he pulls out a sheet of paper that you never thought you'd see again.
"No!" you laugh putting a hand over your mouth.
"Where did you find this!" you ask looking up at the man in awe.
"A beach in Mallorca" he offers scratching the back of his neck trying to work out what you were thinking right now.
"I chucked this off a boat in Australia on my 21st birthday" you gasp in shock at how far it had come.
"My family has a holiday home in Mallorca and it was on the beach where I run everyday!" he smiles nodding.
"And you actually came to find me?" you laugh in shock thinking it was a silly thing your mum would always tell you was how your family did things. Its how she found your dad, how you nan found your grandad and how your aunt found your uncle.
"Well, I did find it. I was curious!" he grins, looking at you and you look around the corridor before you bite your lip.
"Did you maybe want to talk about all this craziness over dinner?" you ask looking up at him.
"I'd love that!" he smiles, holding a hand out for you.
"I cant believe you found me!" you smile, placing a kiss on his cheek making them turn a little pink.
"Mmmm I did find you! All from the Bottle."

Howdy, fateful friends! Are you an artist or illustrator with an interest in visual novels?
If so: Moirai Myths, creators of the visual novel The Good People (Na Daoine Maithe), are in need of guest artists! More specifically, we're looking for up to two artists to help us with the content graphics ("CGs") for Maeve and Shae's upcoming routes. All of the details will be listed on our application form (linked below), but here is the gist:
This is paid work with 20-30 business day deadlines per piece!
Complicated revisions in the post-sketch phase are compensated!
You will be prioritized for future guest artist opportunities!
You will be featured/credited on Moirai Myths' website and in the game itself!
Sound interesting? If so, apply here:
Click under the cut for some F&Q 👇
Who are you? (I'm new here!)
Hi! We're Moirai Myths: a small, newish visual novel company based out of Canada. We're making a game inspired by mostly Irish mythology, which was funded on Kickstarter in 2023! Our game's got fairy politics, a diverse cast, a Gaeilge-to-English translation tool, and routes that can be played either romantically or platonically! Also horses. An ungodly amount of horses, really.
If that odd pitch sounded intriguing, perhaps you'd like to play our demo! It's free on Steam & Itch.io.
Why are you looking for guest artists?
When we originally launched our Kickstarter, the plan was to have our three in-house artists collaborate on the CGs in the same way our header image was. However, we quickly realized that adding CGs, even if they're done collaboratively, onto the existing duties of our artists was a tall order. Add to that the departure of our original sprite artist (who has since been replaced by our graphic designer), and we determined that having our in-house team work on CGs was simply not possible if we still wanted our first release to happen in 2024. So, rather than omitting CGs or adding them in at a later time, we came up with the idea of hiring guest artists. Overall this means our CGs will be a bit more varied in terms of art style, but we like to think of this as a positive! NDM's development will take a number of years to complete in full, so we hope our CGs will allow us to feature a lot of artists either within the VN/indie dev community already, or artists who aspire to work in gaming and are looking for entry positions.
How long will applications remain open for?
This application will be open until Sunday, March 24 at midnight (EST)! If we intend to extend past that deadline, we'll make an announcement about it.
I can't apply right now. Will you look for more CG guest artists in the future?
Definitely! As mentioned, NDM will take a while to develop in full, so this is by no means your only opportunity to apply. That being said, we suspect we're going to end up shortlisting a number of artists over the course of this application period, and we intend to keep a list of all the runners-up. So, even if you won't be able to participate this time, it might be a good idea to apply anyway just to remain in our contacts! Either way, this will not be the last time we have apps.
Will you be looking for guest artists outside of CGs?
Maybe! We already have two guest artists (Nefukurou and Madi Funk) working on sprites and CGs respectively, so it's always possible that we'll have other artistic needs later down the line. Likewise, we may also reach out to past guest artists for future work with us, whether it's on this game or something else!
You say we need to sign an NDA. What does that entail?
The non-disclosure agreement essentially means you will be legally unable to publicly disclose any confidential information you become privy to as a result of working with us. This would include personal information about the developers, as well as spoilers from the game itself. In addition do this, you will be expected to sign over the IP and copyright of any artworks you produce for us.
Can I still use my artworks in portfolios, even if I don't own the copyright?
Yes! We'd only ask, if your portfolio is a website, that you wait to do so until after your art has been made public by us, either on our social media or via the publication of the game. Our first release is anticipated to happen later this year, most likely mid-autumn.
How do you guys feel about AI? Do you intend to use it, or would you ever train an AI off of the artworks whose copyright you own?
No.
Making a game is expensive and time-consuming, but AI is no replacement for human artistry. We fundamentally believe that any advancements in AI should be used for the purpose of giving people more time to make art, not take away opportunities for it. Moirai Myths will never, ever use AI or train an AI off your work.
***
If you've got any more questions for us that we didn't think to include here, feel free to send us an ask!

IOTA Reviews: Derision
Tumblr media
Well, here we are. This is the episode you've all been waiting for me to cover. The one people claim is the cream of the crop when it comes to badness, not just for the insane amount of retcons and cases of character assassination, but for how it retroactively makes one of the most criticized parts of the entire show worse by comparison. If you've seen the episode, you know what I'm talking about.
Let's get into the fourteenth episode of Miraculous Ladybug's fifth season: Derision
We start off with Marinette waking up for the day before getting a call from Adrien, who gives one of the clunkiest pieces of exposition I've ever heard on this show, and that's saying something.
Adrien: I was just going to tell you how excited I am that we're meeting at the swimming pool later, and to wake you up just in case you were still sleeping.
youtube
Just as she hangs up, Marinette's hands start to tremble, having visions of a locker, hinting at some old memories resurfacing. Just to get this out of the way, but one thing I want to give this episode props for is the way these panic attacks are portrayed. The colors change, the environments warp around, and it gives off a very uneasy feeling. It kind of reminds me of this one episode of The Twilight Zone, “Little Girl Lost”, which used similar visuals to depict the otherworldly atmosphere of another dimension.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Marinette meets up with Adrien at the local pool, and has another panic attack. Kim and Ondine seem to notice this.
Kim: Woah, Adrien. That must've been some prank you pulled to make Marinette freak out like that. What did you do to her?
Ondine: It's not funny, Kim! Can't you see Marinette's not okay?
Kim: Oh, come on. She always reacts like that when someone pranks her.
Kim then proceeds to tell Adrien and Ondine (and by extension, the audience) about what he means. I'm going to talk a lot about this, so to make things easier for all of us, I'll give you the short version so you have an idea of what happened.
About a year before the events of “Origins”, we see Chloe was bullying Marinette even more than she did before then, constantly pulling sadistic pranks Megan from Drake & Josh would find to be overkill, while making her late to class. To make things worse, none of her teachers believed her and took Chloe's side all the time, giving her detention on the weekends. Mylene, Rose, and Juleka try to help Marinette, but apparently, Chloe orders them to not talk with her before saying that “she'll be there to make Marinette's life a nightmare”.
The only person with the common sense to help out Marinette is Socqueline, that girl from “Jubiliation”. Socqueline learns that Marinette has a crush on Kim, who is even more of a jerk than he was during the first half of Season 1, and when Marinette thinks about asking him out to the swimming pool after school, Socqueline advises Marinette to be careful. Sabrina tips off Chloe to Marinette's plan, so Chloe goes to give Kim advice to pull a prank on Marinette. At the pool, just as Marinette confesses her feelings to Kim, Kim gives her a box full of spiders, causing her to panic and fall backwards into the pool. Chloe films the thing with the intent to make it go viral, but Socqueline stops her plan before she can upload it. Kim doesn't seem to see what he did was wrong, seeing it as a harmless joke as Socqueline tells him to piss off.
It's here that Marinette determines that if she ever has feelings for a boy ever again, she'll need to be super prepared, explaining how much she knows about Adrien and his schedule in later episodes. Chloe then gets Socqueline expelled from school just a few weeks before the end of the school year. Marinette blames herself for what happened, but Socqueline tells her that sometimes, no matter how dire the odds seem, she needs to muster up the courage to fight the good fight.
Oh, and Marinette was almost akumatized by Monarch again, but it's really just an excuse to keep her away while Kim tells the story.
So... let's talk about this flashback. Clocking in at about ten minutes, almost half of the episode's runtime, this is easily the part everyone (myself included) seems to have problems with, for all kinds of reasons. Let's break down each and everything wrong with this flashback.
#1: The Portrayal of Chloe
Surprisingly, this is the least of my problems. Compared to Kim (who I'll get to later), Chloe is mostly in character with how she's usually portrayed by this point in the series. She's egotistical, she orders Sabrina around, she hates Marinette, and throws her father's name around over and over again like it's a boomerang. My feelings on the wasted opportunities with her character aside, this does make sense seeing how this takes place before Season 1.
But there's the problem. This takes place before Season 1, and Chloe does things she never did in Season 1, or any of the other seasons for that matter. She clearly has the teachers and principal doing what she wants, she can boss the other students around (which I'll also get to later), she pulls sadistic practical jokes on Marinette, and even uses her dad's name to get Socqueline expelled. In the show, she doesn't really do any of this. Sure, she can occasionally use her dad's influence to get what she wants (Lady Wifi, Rogercop, Frightningale, Determination), but it was never to this extent. While she also tried to act like she was better than the rest of her peers, barring Sabrina, nobody ever listened to her or took her seriously. Chloe also tended to focus on bullying Marinette, but she didn't do these kinds of practical jokes. Usually, it was either sabotage (Mr. Pigeon, Despair Bear, Gabriel Agreste) or just general name calling, and she picked on other students too (Dark Cupid, Reflekta, Antibug, Sole Crusher, Penalteam, Deflagration).
The point I'm trying to make is why the hell did Chloe stop acting this way? What caused her to stop being as bad as she is here? I get the whole point of this episode is to show how terrible Chloe is, but you're showing off all her bad moments in a flashback and never considering the other things she's done that would be just as effective. Wasn't the main idea behind Chloe's “damnation arc” that she started to change, but went back on her ways and became worse than before? If that's the case, I have to reiterate, why was she even worse in this flashback?
I also have an issue with making the cause of all of Marinette's trauma because of this prank by Chloe. Yes, the prank was terrible, and trust me this isn't me once again going “GRR! CHLOE STAN ANGRY BECAUSE RICH GIRL IS EVIL IN FLASHBACK!”. It's more along the lines of “Really? We're really doing this?”. While I'm glad that after Chloe's betrayal at the end of Season 3, the show is finally considering the idea of making her more than just comic relief as a villain, it feels like a case of too little, too late.
After so many years of making Chloe out to be harmless unless she screams her daddy's name, now you're treating her like a serious threat who traumatized Marinette for life? Chloe is the cause of Marinette's trauma? This is like if the person who killed Bruce Wayne's parents turned out to be a joke character like Egghead or Crazy Quilt. Just because a serious villain does something important to the story, it doesn't automatically make their prior unfunny antics go away.
But my main gripe with the portrayal of Chloe here is that this flashback fails to do something that still hasn't been done in almost five seasons and eight years: Explain just why Chloe hates Marinette so much. Chloe is unusually cruel here, and doesn't even have a reason to torture Marinette like this. Usually, Marinette gets in the way of what she wants, but here? Marinette doesn't do anything to warrant this level of dedication. You would think for a flashback sequence focusing on her and Marinette's history, they would actually explain why Chloe likes to single out Marinette, but they don't. The writers would rather take time out of the episode to remind the audience of why Chloe is the way she is, and why it isn't acceptable, than clarify what Chloe's deal with Marinette is.
Rose: She’s this way because her mother left her when she was young.
Mylene: So did mine, and you don't see me having fun bullying Marinette.
Gee, I wonder if Astruc himself had a part in writing that exchange or not.
If you're willing to acknowledge previous episodes while also discussing how poorly Chloe treats Marinette, it would help if you finally did something to inform the audience about why Chloe likes to torture Marinette in the first place. Did Marinette show Chloe up at a fashion show? Did Marinette impress Chloe's dad one time? Did Marinette just spill coffee on Chloe's shoes? I will take literally anything, no matter how stupid the explanation is, over getting nothing after eight years.
It's also pretty rich that that scene was trying to say that what happened to Chloe doesn't justify her actions when not only do we never get a scene like that pointing out how creepy Marinette obsesing over Adrien was, but later in the episode, Marinette specifically pins all the blame on Chloe in one line.
Marinette: Adrien! I know what's wrong with me! It's not my fault, and it's not your fault, either! It's all Chloe's fault!
So remember kids, just because bad things happen to you, it doesn't excuse your unflattering actions... except when it does, and in that case, it's all the fault of the person who wronged you in the first place.
#2: The Portrayal of Kim
I'll admit, I'm not really the biggest fan of Kim as a character. I don't hate him, but it feels like after Season 2, he just became that guy who really loves to swim, where even characters like Max, Marc, and Nathaniel had more depth to them. This episode however? Yeah, I couldn't stand Kim here.
Just like with Chloe, Kim is sort of in character as the same eccentric dude who has a habit of being insensitive and accidentally upsetting people (Animan, Syren), and I need to emphasize the “sort of”. Just like Chloe, this goes against his characterization in Season 1, where he was shown to be a bully like Chloe was (Lady Wifi, Timetagger, Origins) before later episodes made him a nicer person. However, unlike Chloe, the show sort of tries to retcon Kim's rude behavior to be more in line with his Season 5 self by portraying him as more of a bully who simply isn't aware of how harmful his jokes are, but it doesn't work because of how cruel he seems, and he doesn't have the excuse of knowing how terrible he is like Chloe does.
There's also how easily he goes along with Chloe's prank when she literally insults him and Marinette to his face.
Chloe: I heard Marinette asked you to go with her to the swimming pool.
Kim: Yeah, we’re going swimming together. Cool! 'Cause I love to swim!
Chloe: That’s not why she asked you, dummy!
Kim: It's not? Then, what are we going to do? Chloe: She wants to declare her feelings for you! Kim: For me? But why?
Chloe: Probably because she's utterly ridiculous, and so are you, which makes you two perfect for each other!
Kim: Oh? You think so?
There's not being aware of how insensitive of how you are to others, and then there's not being able to comprehend basic insults. Chloe doesn't even try to give Kim a backhanded compliment or secretly insult him (“You really like swimming, don't you? Good thing you can swim better than you do in class.”). She just calls him a dummy, and Kim still falls for her trick. If you want to have Kim fall for Chloe's plan, don't make her so obviously cruel. For God's sake, you're making the class in the Lila episodes look smart by comparison.
And even after retelling the story, Kim still thinks Chloe highly, not only saying how pretty she is right in front of his girlfriend, but he still thinks the joke was the funniest thing ever. After five seasons, Kim of all people should know about how mean Chloe is, given he was literally kidnapped and brainwashed into serving her while she sided with Hawkmoth (Miracle Queen).
The worst part is that Kim has nothing to do with this story at all. You could literally replace him with any other guy, even a nameless background character with no lines, and nothing would change. Hell, I'd argue it'd be even better as having Marinette be embarrassed in front of some rando would highlight the impact it had on her self-esteem when she tries to go after someone of a higher social class. It would also better justify the spider prank if someone else pulled it because “Darkblade” established that Kim was afraid of spiders.
And if you think I'm talking about Kim after this part, believe me, there's more to this schmuck than meets the eye.
#3: The Way Everyone Just... Lets This All Happen
Look, I get what the episode is trying to go for, narratively, and realistically. Sometimes, teachers and other authority figures just don't do their jobs when someone gets bullied. Hell, I was bullied for years by someone who liked to take advantage of my anger issues, and it wasn't until my last year of middle school that the faculty finally decided to do something about it. I also get that this entire flashback wouldn't happen if the teachers realized how cruel Chloe was and got her expelled. What I don't get is how the flashback portrays anyone who was there as unwilling to do anything to help.
First off, Marinette claims that the reason none of the teachers believed her was because they're all too afraid to stand up to Chloe, since she can call her dad and cost them their jobs, but that's far from the truth. The only time we see anyone actually being afraid of Chloe was when Mr. Damocles went back on refusing to expel Socqueline before Chloe threatened to call her dad and get him fired. Other than that, while we only see Ms. Mendeleiev and Mr. Damocles in this flashback, neither of them really show any signs of being afraid of Chloe. They just go along with what she says, and they don't even try to take Marinette's side. Just like Kim, this would be more understandable if these were different characters who were never shown to be this cruel to Marinette in earlier episodes.
Second, while I can sort of buy the teachers not caring about Marinette, the fact that her classmates don't do anything is another story. We saw Mylene, Rose, and Juleka trying to help Marinette, but right after they talk to her, Chloe just orders them to go away, and it's never explained why. Marinette said the teachers were afraid of Chloe, but does that mean the students are too? Again, later episodes would establish nobody takes Chloe seriously as a bully, so this part of the flashback makes no sense. What changed to make them stop being afraid of Chloe anyway? Once again, if these were a bunch of nameless characters who were more apathetic to Marinette's situation, that would make sense, retroactively showing how much Marinette's friends care for her. Instead, it's like that scene in RWBY where the main characters watch a student being bullied by a racist classmate, and all they do is say “Wow, racism really sucks, huh? Anyway, not our problem.”
Third, you're telling me that Marinette came up with multiple excuses not to go to school even with a few weeks left in the year, and Marinette's parents didn't see anything weird about it? They didn't think that something must be making Marinette want to do anything but go to school? I don't think they were even informed about the situation at school, unless you want to be generous and say they knew Marinette got detention. You can't even make the excuse that it would work if these were different characters, but these are Marinette's parents. You know, the same characters the show portrays as loving and affectionate to their daughter? You're telling me they didn't even think to look into the situation, much less talk to Marinette about school?
The problem with all the other characters in this flashback is in order to make what happens possible, they have to be as apathetic as possible. There's being unaware of a situation or being too afraid to stand up (which is unfortunately something that happens when people bullied sometimes), and then there's just not caring about the bully victim at all. It's ironic how even though a big part of the flashback was to show how awful Chloe was, it unintentionally make everyone else in Marinette's life seem just as cruel to let her suffer like that.
But I know what you're thinking. “What about Socqueline? She was there to help Marinette, so why didn't you mention her?” Well...
#4: Where the Hell Has Socqueline Been All This Time?
Like I mentioned in my “Jubilation” review, Socqueline is yet another unnecessary addition to the already overcrowded cast of characters in this show, and it seemed like this episode was meant to justify her inclusion, but it only raised more questions.
Just to remind you, this flashback establishes that Marinette was constantly bullied by Chloe until a nice girl in glasses stood up for her, and inspired Marinette to be more confident.
SOUND FAMILIAR?
Tumblr media
Yeah, this flashback is pretty much the same as Marinette's arc in “Origins” was, only with Socqueline in Alya's place. We get it, writers, Season 1 was good. Constantly repeating stuff like what happened in “Mr. Pigeon 72” isn't going to win you any favors.
This really highlights how pointless of a character Socqueline is, as despite supposedly being a really important person in Marinette's life, Marinette herself never thought to tell anyone about her, and judging from how Marinette described her to Tikki in “Jubilation”, I don't think she even stayed in contact with Socqueline after she was expelled. It's not like left Paris afterwards. All we know is that she went to another school and got a job at a local arts and crafts store, so why did Marinette just stop talking with her? Even with Felix and Zoe, they had the excuse of being in different countries, but you can't say that with Socqueline.
Also, this was something I just realized, but if Mr. Damocles got her expelled, why the hell did Socqueline treat him like he was any other customer at her job, much less compliment him as a principal?
#5: The Handling of Trauma in General, and How This Impacts Marinette as a Character
Like pretty much every other serious issue it tries to tackle, Miraculous Ladybug has always had a poor understanding of mental health. When it comes to portraying characters who struggle with some form of grief of trauma, like Adrien, Felix, Chloe, Zoe, and even Marinette, the responses usually amount to some variation of “Grow a pair and get over it, you big baby!”.
With Felix, Chloe, and Marinette, even if their actions are partially motivated as a response to either losing a loved one, trying to emulate their neglectful parent, or as a defense mechanism to avoid repeating an already traumatic experience, they're all proven to be in the wrong, and it's not to teach a lesson about alternative coping mechanisms or support systems. The show just says that they're automatically wrong for what they do, what causes them to act the way they do is never acknowledged, and instead, we're supposed to just act like they're being jerks for no reason. Compare this to Adrien and Zoe, who both had rough lives losing their mother at a young age or living with an abusive mother respectively, and rather than go into detail how it affected them or how they managed to become decent human beings in spite of it, the show just says that they're nice people, so people like Felix, Chloe, and Marinette have no reason to be mean to others.
This is honestly why I feel like this episode's depiction of mental health and dealing with trauma falls flat. In case you didn't know, I asked my followers who had to deal with some form of trauma to share their experiences and how it compared to what Marinette went through in the episode. For the most part, the common consensus seems to be that while the symptoms of Marinette's trauma and her reactions to it are very believable, a lot of it is contradicted by previous episodes, and it seems like it was only there to do a story about dealing with trauma.
So many episodes across Seasons 1 through 4 show Marinette dealing with Kim and Chloe without really any issue, and she showed no problem with starting relationships with Luka and Cat Noir, to say nothing about Nathaniel's brief crush on her in “The Evillustrator”. If Marinette was so traumatized by this prank, why did she want to go swimming in episodes like “Gorizilla” and “Mr. Pigeon 72”? Why did she bother to help Kim confess to Chloe in “Dark Cupid”? Why did she team up with Chloe to sabotage Kagami in “Animaestro”? Why did she suggest Chloe could change for the better throughout Seasons 2 and 3? Why did she continue to let Chloe and Kim use the Bee and Monkey Miraculous respectively, even after they got them from outside sources? This flashback is desperately trying to tie previous events of the series together together, but it only works if you ignore all the times Marinette has interacted with Kim and Chloe without having a panic attack.
Then there's how the flashback tries to connect this to Marinette memorizing all of Adrien's schedule to make sure he won't hurt her, an obvious attempt to rebuff one of the biggest criticisms of her as a character. Here's why it doesn't work.
First off, the setup doesn't work because while Marinette vows to do a better job getting to know the next person she falls in love with and how, in her words mind you, “He isn't friends with Chloe”. Putting aside the kindness he's shown her in “Origins”, she kind of failed to really consider her choice to pursue him if he stayed friends with Chloe if we're going to believe Chloe traumatized Marinette so much.
It also doesn't really explain the more predatory actions Marinette has taken whenever another girl tries to get close to Adrien (The Bubbler, Volpina, Animaestro, Oni-Chan, Heart Hunter), or how she tries to rig up situations to get closer to him (The Gamer, Gigantitan, Backwarder, Party Crasher, Felix, Psycomedian, Glaciator 2, Simpleman). And that's not even getting into how obsessive she is with him in other areas, like repeatedly playing a commercial he was in (Gorizilla), making a bunch of presents for him in advance (Christmaster), trying to kiss a wax statue of him (The Puppeteer 2), sniffing his pillow (Cat Blanc), or all the other times she's creepily obsessed over him.
But of course, you've probably noticed that I've forgotten to mention one key thing about what this flashback means: You know how Marinette tends to act nervously and stumbles a lot around Adrien when she isn't meticulously documenting his schedule? Yeah, they were essentially panic attacks brought on by her PTSD, and the episode tries to act like Kim did to her wasn't funny afterwards. Here's the problem with this.
YOU MADE MARINETTE'S TRAUMA YOUR PRIMARY SOURCE OF COMEDY FOR THE PAST FIVE FUCKING SEASONS!
You do NOT have the right to act like what happened to Marinette was bad when you were constantly playing her anxiety up for laughs for almost EIGHT YEARS at this point!
In addition to all the other examples I mentioned, we had episodes like “Psycomedian”, which confirmed that the same behavior that this episode is trying to say is connected to her trauma was hilarious to Adrien, as well as “Backwarder”, which thrived on playing up Marinette's anxiety towards Adrien and was said to be one of the funniest episodes of the show to work on by Astruc himself.

THIS IS WHAT THOMAS ASTRUC ACTUALLY BELIEVES
#6: Why This Flashback Is Ultimately Pointless
But above all, the biggest problem I have with this flashback is because of how pointless it is. It's trying to better go into detail about why Marinette acts the way she does around Adrien, but did we really need to do that?
This flashback doesn't really reveal anything that we didn't know already. We know Marinette was bullied by Chloe, we know she was a lot more meek and needed others to stand up for her, and we definitely know that we're not supposed to like Chloe. Adding to my earlier point, if we actually got more insight into the origin of Chloe's obsession with Marinette, that would have at least made this flashback important to watch, but once again, despite being a flashback episode, we learn nothing about the characters that we don't already know.
But this flashback is also meant to explain why Marinette is so hesitant to embrace her new relationship with Adrien when we already got a reason for that last season. The first half of the season has made a big deal about how much her feelings for Adrien cost her the Miraculous, so why not focus on that? This flashback just feels like it's here to give more Marinette angst instead of focusing on the things they've already established. And that's not even getting into what she saw during “Cat Blanc”.
Why couldn't we just have a story about Marinette's own insecurities causing her to doubt she can make her relationship with Adrien work, seeing how poorly things ended with Luka? Have her worry that something could go wrong as a result of her need to overcompensate, or worry that Adrien could betray her. That way, you could have Adrien supporting Marinette in a way that reflects their partnership as Cat Noir and Ladybug respectively.
But no. Instead we have this flashback that's taken me about ten pages to fully dissect. And the worst part is that I still have the rest of the episode to talk about. God help me...
So after Adrien and Ondine explain how this prank could have done a lot of damage to Marinette's psyche, Kim decides to find Marinette, and apologize for being so—Ah, I'm just messing with you guys. After all, that would actually make Kim likable. So what does he say instead?
Kim: Come on! Loosen up, you guys! It's like you can't even speak your mind these days.
Ondine: That doesn't give you permission to hurt other people!
Kim: Whatever! I'm the way I am and I'm fine that way! It's not my fault you guys have no sense of humor!
Yep, rather than having Kim realize the error of his ways and maybe be akumatized out of guilt, Kim just whines about how everyone else is just a humorless pansy these days. The writers pretty much made Kim's motivation boil down to “It's just a prank, bro!”. Even Monarch seems to go along with this, as he refers to Kim as “A free spirit feeling unjustly rejected”, when this was right after he called Chloe the prettiest girl in front of his own girlfriend's face. So Monarch sends his Akuma to Kim's goggles, akumatizing him into Dark Humor. Yes, that's really the name they're going with.
Tumblr media
Dark Humor is a pretty forgettable recolor of Dark Cupid. Other than inverting the red and black color scheme and giving him a targeting scope on his right eye, there's not much else to say other than the incredibly on the nose name they gave him. His powers are sort of like Dark Cupid's, only now, instead of turning people heartless, they now share his soulless brand of “humor”. At least, I think it is. His Alliance power is the Monkey Miraculous's Uproar, but it's not really clarified if he's only using Uproar arrows or not, judging from the use of the rubber ducky that we've seen King Monkey use before.
Marinette and Adrien transform into Ladybug and Cat Noir respectively, but once they meet up, we get the most controversial part of the episode that isn't connected to the flashback scene: Cat Noir gives Dark Humor the beatdown of his life and is about to Cataclysm him, for pulling a bad prank on Marinette a year ago. Yeah, a lot of people have pointed out that Adrien felt a lot of remorse for Cataclysming Monarch earlier in this season, yet here, Cat Noir looks like someone told him that Kim just shot the Pope. For God's sake, writers, you're five seasons in! How hard is it to determine whether or not you want your hero to be okay with killing people or not?
And of course, this bites him in the ass, as Dark Humor stabs Cat Noir with an arrow, not only changing his Cataclysm into something that creates a bunch of balls from his hand, but also making him just as insane as the rest of Dark Humor's victims. You know, I'm this close to starting a “Remember Season 1” counter, because this is just glorified fanservice.
Ladybug tries to summon her Lucky Charm, but is stopped by Dark Humor, so Ladybug transforms back into Marinette, transforms into Ladybug again, and summons her Lucky Charm for real this time, getting... a toilet. Of course, the only way to combat Dark Humor's bad jokes is by using even worse jokes! Genius! Ladybug places the toilet over Dark Humor's head and breaks it along with the goggles, freeing the Akuma.
Ladybug de-evilizes the Akuma, uses Miraculous Ladybug to fix the damage, gives Kim a useless Magical Charm, and Cat Noir apologizes for murdering Kim by saying his emotions got the better of him, which is like saying OJ Simpson and his wife had a minor disagreement.
Kim apologizes to Marinette for traumatizing her, and I guess that's enough for Ondine to forgive him for saying another girl is prettier than her.
After Marinette sort of explains what happened to Adrien, he goes over to tell Chloe to apologize, and we get... this scene.
Adrien: I know about everything that you did to Marinette last year, Chloe. You're going to go and apologize to her and prove to everyone that you can change. I'm sure she'll forgive you.
Chloe: (laughs) Forgive me? What do I care about her forgiveness? I couldn't care less about Dupain-Cheng's feelings! She and the likes of her only exist to suffer for my entertainment. Why bother having power if you can’t use it against those who don’t have any? You’re the one who’s getting things wrong, with your baker girl! You’re a prince! You belong with me, the princess! You’re in this world to shine! To make fun of all the losers who are only good enough to be used as doormats!
Adrien: You're nothing like a princess, Chloe. I supported you. I gave you multiple chances to become a better person. Everyone reached out to you, including Ladybug and Cat Noir when they gave you the Miraculous of the Bee again. But all you ever think about is yourself.
Chloe: And what else IS there to think about? Losers and nobodies? The little bees? The planet?
Adrien: We will never be friends again, Chloe. You and I are done.
Chloe: Traitor.
Okay, first off, “She and the likes of her only exist to suffer for my entertainment.”? That's the line you're going with? She sounds like a dark lord in an RPG game. How is this the closest thing we ever get to an explanation to why Chloe hates Marinette so much?
Second, ignoring the fact that we already had Chloe end her friendship with Adrien last season (Queen Banana), it's pretty weird that this is the breaking point in their friendship. Adrien doesn't mention all the other times she's bullied people or when she sided with Hawkmoth even when he brought up her time as Queen Bee. He saw her being mean to so many people over five seasons, yet only when he learns Chloe did something to his girlfriend that he decides to finally confront her. If we at least got a line where Adrien acknowledged that he essentially enabled Chloe for so long by thinking she could change, that would have at least sort of worked. Instead, he makes it about how she refused to change herself. Dude, you had the chance to stand up to her for years, and you even did so in one episode before you went back on it (Despair Bear). You have nobody to blame but yourself.
Finally, Chloe is pretty out of character here. She's way too calm about ending her friendship with Adrien compared to what happened in “Despair Bear” and “Queen Banana”. You'd think if the writers wanted this to be a big moment of catharsis for the audience, Chloe would at least beg Adrien to stay a little. But no, Chloe brushes it off when it could easily justify her getting worse in later episodes, and even Adrien doesn't even consider how much he thought Chloe's friendship meant to him. Because these writers are dedicated to making sure that any identifiable trait Chloe once had is removed so you have no choice but to hate her.
But hey, at least the episode's over. What did I think of it?
youtube
Yeah, it wasn't very good.
I just... what else do you even want me to say here? I spent about ten pages going over why the flashback sequence doesn't work, I've already ranted about Cat Noir trying to kill someone with his Cataclysm in previous episodes (Hack-San, Jubilation), and I think you all know what my feelings on the portrayal of Chloe and Kim are.
I guess I can answer one question you may have: Is this episode worse than either “Penalteam” or “Queen Banana”? Eh, not really. Let me explain.
The problems with “Queen Banana” and “Penalteam” went beyond the treatment of Chloe with the way the stories were handled, with “Queen Banana” being a cheap jab at critics and TV executives while propping up their new character Zoe, and “Penalteam” being an excuse to have a soccer episode while making Cat Noir look like a buffoon right before the finale. Most of the problems with this episode have more to do with how they affect the way we see previous episodes, and why some scenes that were already unfunny are even less funny now.
With this episode, you can at least tell there was some effort being made to tell a more serious story here that went into what made Marinette tick. Yeah, it and the themes of mental health and trauma were handled about as gracefully as a ballet dancer trying to get a bear trap off their leg, but there's at least an attempt here.
Of course, this episode is still awful. The conflict with Kim not getting how much of a jerk he was after a year was dumb (as was him being even more of a jerk as Dark Humor), the fact that Marinette's trauma seemed to come and go when the plot needed it to really showed off how forced it is, and it only ends with you having more questions about Marinette and Chloe's rivalry rather than answering them.
While I'm still not a fan of this episode, and would still place it in my top five least favorites, I don't think it's the absolute worst. Although it's still the worst one so far this season from a technical standpoint.
THE BIGGEST IDIOT OF THE EPISODE IS...KIM
Tumblr media
It says a lot when Cat Noir actually tried to murder someone in this episode, yet not only is he not even considered for the award this episode, the person he tried to kill ends up being the bigger idiot. Not only did he easily fall for Chloe's plan when she insulted him to his face, he failed to understand how it affected Marinette for a year, and when he was told about how bad it was, he refused to take responsibility for his actions, blamed it on other people not being able to take a joke, and only gave the smallest apology after he was almost killed for his attitude. It's honestly funny how he somehow comes across as more unlikable than Chloe, the character this episode was made to make you hate even more.

Tumblr media
You were holding someone’s hand.
The hand was much bigger than yours, most likely a man’s. The metal surface of what you assumed was a ring had shocked your skin cool. His knuckles were calloused, rough—he seriously needed to invest in some hand cream. Contradictingly, his palms were warm and clammy; a sensation you didn’t particularly enjoy, either.
More importantly, however, you didn’t have a clue who this man was.
It seems he didn’t catch that memo.
“I already have a girlfriend,” the owner of the hand bogusly smiled at the two girls who cornered you in the middle of the hallway. Stupefied, you gazed up at his towering frame and broad shoulders, with his sports bag flush against his chest. You glanced at his flushed red ears, sweat beading from his forehead, his puppy dog eyes that were full of determination. You admit; he would’ve been cute if it weren’t for this non-consensual hand holding habit of his. The creepy-hand-guy glanced at his feet. “I can’t date you, sorry!”
“Awe, Gyubinnee!” one of the girls whined, a sound synonymous with an air horn. “Since when were you dating someone?”
You seconded the air-horn girl’s testaments. Since when were you in a relationship you didn’t even know about?
His hand clung around your fingers tighter. “It just sorta happened, you know?”
The two girls took quick glances at each other, whining some more before ultimately walking away, their shoulders slumped to the floor. Creepy-hand-guy waited a few paces, his eyes tracking the girls like a sniper on the kill. The girls turned the corner at the hall, and only then did the creepy hand guy exhale from relief. He held a hand against his chest, as if his heart was minutes away from falling out of place. Clearly, creepy-hand-guy was forgetting something.
“Are you gonna let go?”
“Oh, shit,” he jutted, his hand flying away from yours. He took two lengthy steps away from your figure, as if he finally learnt the meaning of personal space. Took him long enough. You heave a sigh, using your finally free hand to continue what you were originally here to do; gathering your things to bus home.
“I’m really sorry—those girls were killing me.” He cradled the nape of his neck with his palm, flashing the grin. A genuine one, this time. Though it was laced with nervousness. “Thanks for helping me out. I’m Gyuvin.”
Gyuvin pushed a hand out to your direction, making this the second time you’ve ever held his hand. You hugged your books against your chest, leaving one hand open to shake his hand. “y/n.”
“Do you usually hold random girl’s hands in your free time?” Turning around, you took a jab at him as you shoved your books into your school bag. It elicited a nervous chuckle from his chest. Gyuvin clung onto his bag strap. “No, those girls back there—they keep harassing me and asking for my number. So, I, uh, had to improvise? Yeah.”
Throwing your bag over your shoulder, you couldn’t help but giggle at his lack of coordination. Gyuvin fiddled with his fingers, lighting up at the sight of your amusement. He really did resemble a puppy.
You clicked your phone open, your eyes scanning the time left you had to rush over to your bus stop. Shock ran though your spine, sweat beaded from your forehead. 8 minutes. You had 8 minutes before the bus would arrive, and the closest bus stop resided on the other side of a massive hill. Slamming your locker shut, you dashed to the exit, brushing past Gyuvin’s shoulder. You quickly turned back, greeting the puppy boy with a weary eye-smile.
“Good luck with that—”
“Wait!”
His voice tethered you to the ground, your body frozen. You couldn’t quite figure out why you bothered to listen; the clock was ticking—fast. Gyuvin adjusted his figure to face you upfront before bending over in a 90* bow. Your brows furrowed, speechless. What was this guy doing?
“Can you be my fake girlfriend?”
You choked, eyes spilling from your sockets. This felt like some joke, like a prank camera crew was moments away from jumping out and exposing their true intentions. You glanced around just to be safe. You caught a glimpse of the boy before you, slowly straightening his posture—his eyes flooding with determination. Your lips part. He wasn’t joking, was he?
The puppy boy continues his wild claim, his palms facing you in defence. “I know it sounds crazy, but those girls have never listened to me before! This is the first time they’ve actually back down after I’ve told them to go away.” Gyuvin held a hand to his chest. “If I make it seem like I’m in a believable relationship, I might actually have a shot at making those guys leave me alone.”
Gyuvins eyes drilled into you, his voice softening. “I really need your help—please.”
Feelings of guilt started to seep into your chest, but you quickly swatted them away. You barely knew this man, why would you give into his psychotic request? You checked the bus time once again; 6 minutes. Shit.
“No thanks!” You jutted from your chest.
With that, you dashed out the door, your bag swinging side to side as you ran. As heartless as your actions were, you didn’t bother to look back. You simply let the puppy boy fend for himself. It didn’t matter, you’ll never see this guy again.
Right?

Running. Kim Gyuvin was running. His breath hitched against his chest, sweat
beaded from his forehead, his sports bag swaying frantically at his hips. He barely took notice, though; his brain was too occupied with escaping the two random girls who asked him for his number this afternoon.
Correction: girls who asked for his number and wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Gyuvin tucked himself away, hiding behind a wall of lockers to catch his breath. He combed through his hair, his chest heaving. This wasn’t the first time this happened. There have been countless times where Gyuvin had to run for his life from random people in his school; people that claimed to be fans. It was one of the downsides to being popular.
Gyuvin knew it was vain. He knew people would die just to be in his shoes. He knew people would love to be adored the way he was adored. Yet one massive thing completely goes over their heads; it was exhausting. People didn’t fully understand his struggles; the constant noise, the lack of privacy in the classroom and the bus ride to and from school. The only reason he studied his ass off to get his licence the minute he could was to get away from those fangirls who had no clue about personal space.
Now, they’re going so far as to wait for him after practice, and chase him down for his number. Gyuvin needed to put an end to this. Now.
Hastily, Gyuvin scanned the barren hallway. Nothing but a sea of beige lockers; all closed. It was natural, it was well after school hours—almost everyone had to be home by now. Gyuvin’s shoulders sunk to the floor, his heart losing hope for a successful escape.
The sound of rustling suddenly crept up to his ears as he turned his head to the left. He found the figure of a girl turned away as she moved books and papers around in her locker. Her face was buried into the nook of the locker, paying no attention to the world around her. Her surroundings, baren and quiet. Gyuvin envied her a little; she looked like she was having a peaceful day.
Another glance at the locker girl and a lightbulb bounces from Gyuvin’s brunette head. The locker girl was none other than you, Park y/n. According to Gunwook, you were the bossiest class president in your year, and you often stayed late after school for your various class president duties. Ricky dubbed you a tryhard for it. Gyuvin, however, didn’t have much to say on the matter—he’s never had the chance to talk to you.
Gyuvin found himself staring at you, time standing still. His eyes widen before he sends a swift slap onto his cheek. Yet, that didn’t stop from curiosity bubbling in his chest.
The echoes of steps and faint voices bounce from further down the hall, Gyuvin’s spine freezing in fear almost immediately after, his brain being thrown straight back into reality. Shit. They were back. Gyuvin had to act fast. In a panic, Gyuvin’s eyes landed on your hand, which was dangling nonchalantly against your side as you fiddled with your phone. An idea perked up in his mind, an idea he swatted away instantly. But as the steps grew faster, and his time ran shorter, he knew he had no other choice.
Gyuvin gulped as he dashed over to you. Guess it’s worth a shot.
So much for your peaceful day.

“Alright, I’ll pick you up at 4, we’ll get something to eat, then we’ll head to the concert venue.” Your best friend, Matthew listed out; his voice muffled by the crunch of cornchips. His thumb swiped over his phone, his other hand tossing more chips into his mouth. You sat across from him on your living room floor, your frame buzzing with excitement as the two of you planned your most anticipated weekend yet. Your favourite artist was holding a concert in your city and you needed to go; your life depended on it.
Cheerfully, you nod at Matthew’s rundown of your weekend plans, a grin plastered on your face. A grin that would disappear. The cause? Matthew's snoopy ass.
“We’ll figure out the rest later—tell me more about that hand holding guy!”
Right. That was another reason for your best friend’s visit; for him to probe you for answers regarding the weirdo, Kim Gyuvin. You only sighed. You only graced him an ominous text about it last night before you went to bed, it was only fair. You took one last swing of your soda.
“He was running away from some girls. Apparently, they can’t get the hint when he tells them he's not interested.” You wave your hand nonchalantly when images suddenly pop into your mind. The image of Gyuvin bowing down like a dork, his puppy dog eyes full of determination. The image of Gyuvin’s cheeky smile—a smile that was plastered onto his face for the entire 10 minute interaction. Your brain lingered on that image for a little while, though you weren’t fully sure as to why.
“Oh, and get this,” You finally continued, waving those weird thoughts away. “The guy asked if I could be his fake girlfriend. Like—what?”
“What, really?” Matthew erupted into a fit of giggles, his figure folding up into a ball and rolling around like some unbalanced egg. “That’s so stupid. Did he even tell you his name?”
You nipped at your lip. “Yeah. Gyuvin.”
Matthew choked on his chips, his eyes spilling from their sockets. You stood still, frozen as curiosity took over your frame. Did you say something wrong?
“Wait. Kim Gyuvin?”
“Yeah?” You furrowed your brows. “Does that matter?"
Matthew scoffed. "He's only one of the most popular guys at school? How did you not know this?"
You only shrug. Being class president didn’t leave much room for a social life. This was no exception. Matthew ran a hand through his hair, his jaw grazing the floor in awe. You, meanwhile, only brought your soda can to your lips, nibbling at the metal as you thought back to the puppy boy. The way he fumbled and stuttered on his words, the way he so desperately ran away from his supposed fans. This guy was supposed to be your school’s hotshot pretty boy? Nah. That was impossible.
Matthew leaned back onto the couch, a mischievous grin stretched across his face. “Go for it.”
You choked. “What? No!” You swat the air, huffing a sigh. “I’m way too busy for something that silly. Besides, it sounds like he’s got a whole roster of girls to choose from. He doesn’t need me.”
“I dunno, sounds like he does. No one just asks a question like that,” Matthew shrugs. You wince, memories from that afternoon with Gyuvin popping into your brain; your cruel rejection in particular lingering well past its welcome.
“Maybe it’ll be fun for you, too! Your social life needs some work—OW.” Your palm smacked his shoulder. Deserved.
“I don’t need a fake boyfriend for that, I have you.”
“Yeah. Your only friend. I can’t hang out all the time!”
“Whatever,” You swat the air again, not putting much thought into Matthew’s words as you dug your hands into a newly opened bag of chips. Matthew was just being delusional anyways. There was no point in listening to him.
There’s no way you’d give Kim Gyuvin the light of day.

Luck wasn’t on your side this particular afternoon.
It started with the bipolar weather of your city. Blue skies of the afternoon quickly shrivelled up into thunderous grey clouds, and soon later, showers of rain drenched the outside. Luckily enough, your student council meeting had just ended, meaning you’d be trapped in the pouring rain. Without an umbrella. Yay.
You pushed through your school doors, being immediately greeted with harsh rain as you took your first steps outside. You tried to salvage your face, at least. Pressing your hand against your forehead in a makeshift visor; but it was no use. Your makeup had practically washed off of your face, like a tiny floatie amidst a grand wave. You only nipped at your lip, the rest of the trek to your bus stop becoming a cold, shivering blur. As you finally approach the barren bench and bus stop pole, you pull your phone out, only to be met with another devastating piece of news.
32 minutes. The next bus was 32 minutes late. Your heart sank into the drenched sidewalk.
A sigh escapes your lips as you look up at the droplets before you, the splotches of gloomy clouds crowning over your once innocent sky. You didn’t even have the energy to complain, it was no use. As much as you wanted it to, whining wouldn’t make the bus get here faster, or miraculously send a ride your way to get you away from this mess. And so, you stood your ground, convincing yourself that everything was fine.
Happy thoughts. Like the warm shower you could take the moment you arrive home, or the concert outfit you could plan even though the concert was still weeks away. Yeah. Just think happy thoughts, y/n.
Your phone buzzed against your palm, your eyes scanning through the numerous water beads cascading off the glass.
matthew! [6:49 pm] GIRL I'M SO SORRY MY PARENTS JUST GROUNDED ME
matthew! [6:49 pm] I CAN’T FUCKING GO TO THE CONCERT
Your heart shattered. No. This can’t be happening. You and Matthew; that's how it was supposed to be. You couldn’t just go alone! Who else were you supposed to go to the concert with? Frantically, your thumbs swipe up the screen, summoning the phone keyboard.
y/n [6:50pm] WHAT
matthew! [6:50 pm] I KNOW
matthew! [6:51 pm] I stayed out past curfew like ONCE
y/n [6:51pm] is there really no way to change their minds??
y/n [6:52pm] like chores??
matthew! [6:54 pm] no :(( I already tried everything
matthew! [6:54 pm] just go without me
You nipped at your lips. You doubted being able to go, yourself. Your parent’s hand one stipulation when allowing you to go to the concert. You needed a ride. Neither one of your parents were available, nor did they want you on a 2 hour bus ride to the other side of town. Matthew was your only option, and now he’s gone. Your heart beats rapidly beneath your chest. What were you going to do?
“y/n?”
The voice shook you to reality. You could tell the voice was yelling, attempting to overpower the crashing rain and its new friends; thunder and lightning. Your eyes move to follow the voice, your poor pupils meeting with a strong beam of light. You wince, using your arm to shield the light. A car sat in front of you, oddly enough. A car you didn’t quite recognize. Though the owner of the car would supposedly beg to differ. You bent down to get a better few of this mystery owner.
You choke.
It was Kim Gyuvin.
You glance around before taking a step closer. “What are you doing here?”
“What?”
“I said; What are you doing here?” Your voice grew louder at the end.
“Oh,” He picks at the nape of his neck. “I was driving by when I saw you. Who takes the bus in this weather?”
Your eyes fall to the ground; your soaked shoes. “Nobody could pick me up.”
The blanket of your silence was overwhelmed by the rapid taps of the rain droplet hitting against Gyuvin’s windshield.
“Do you want a ride?”
Your eyes widen, spilling from their sockets. Was he being serious? Kim Gyuvin, the man who you knew for about 48 hours in total, just offered you a ride in his car. Was he insane? Between this and his little hand-holding habit, you were starting to get the impression that personal space was not in this man’s vocabulary.
“What? No tha—”
A sudden strike of lightning flashes down near you, the earth below rumbling and jolting in fear. You clearly did the same, yelping out a shriek as you almost lost your own balance. Fear shot down your spine faster than the lightning strike you had just witnessed. Your eyes bounce back to Gyuvin’s car. Fuck it.
“Alright, fine.”
Tumblr media
Cold. Your clothes were cold against your skin as you leaned back in Gyuvin’s passenger seat. The seatbelt pushed the wet fabric into your skin further, making you shiver at each movement. Your fingers fumbled with the straps of your bag, eyes boring into the neon green light of his car radio. Gyuvin’s eyes darted to you, overflowing with unease. “Music?”
“Uh, it’s fine.” Your eyes wandered to the crashing raindrops outside; the sky painted a deep navy blue. Your eyes followed each streetlight that flew by your view, desperate for a distraction.
The two of you were drowning in awkward silence, nothing but the rumbles of thunder booming in your ears. You were suffocating. What else were you supposed to do? You didn’t exactly know what to say to the boy who asked you to be his fake girlfriend. You tapped your fingers against the nylon of your school bag.
“Those girls from the other day,” Gyuvin’s voice suddenly peaked, his thumbs drumming against his steering wheel. “They hadn’t approached me at all, today. That fake relationship thing really worked.”
You only nod. Did people really think you were a couple?
The thought makes your stomach feel funny.
“Is it really that bad?” You looked over to him.
Gyuvin huffed a sigh, his cheeks puffing up with air. “It happens almost every day. It drives me crazy.”
You gulp, Gyuvin’s response rendering you speechless. The most popular guy at school hated being popular. Ironic. Guilt clung onto your chest again. You had to admit; you felt bad for the guy. Having people chase you down the halls on a daily basis wasn’t an easy feat. And yet, he chose to stay popular. You couldn’t help but wonder why.
Maybe you were a little curious when it came to the school’s pretty boy.
You choke. What an absurd thought.
At that moment, intrusive thoughts flooded your brain. Thoughts of Matthew and the concert; thoughts of waiting for the bus on cruel, rainy days; the fact that this was the fastest you’ve ever gotten home after a student president meeting. You took note of the heater effortlessly thawing your frozen body, the shield of the windows protecting you from the crashing rain.
Eventually, Gyuvin pulls into your driveway. He sets his car into park, fidgeting with the buttons to unlock the car doors. Your eyes met Gyuvin’s, which were already staring back at you. “I guess I’ll see you around.”
“Wait!” You began without thinking. Gyuvin’s brows furrowed together, confused.
“I'll do it. I’ll be your fake girlfriend.”
Gyuvin’s eyes split from their sockets. He leaned forward in shock. Maybe a little excitement, too. “What?”
“But,” You lifted a finger to the sky. With the way he stared back at you, you were convinced Gyuvin forgot to breathe. You continued. “I’ll only do it if you do something for me in return, got it?”
“Yeah, anything!” Gyuvin’s heart began racing.
“Drive me everywhere.”
Tumblr media
Drive me everywhere.
Your voice replayed in Kim Gyuvin’s head. It replayed during the lacklustre lectures of his biology class; during the repetitive drills of his basketball practice warm ups. It was odd. The presence of you in his mind made his boring day a little less boring.
As baffling as your demand was, Gyuvin couldn’t help but accept. In exchange for a fake relationship that would drive away the fangirls he had to deal with on a daily basis, Gyuvin would drive you to and from school everyday, as well as wherever else you wanted to go. It’s a win-win situation; a way to finally escape the horrors of those obsessive fangirls. A way to finally be at peace. Besides, he always felt a little bad watching you bus home everyday.
Gyuvin’s chest bubbled up with excitement. He wasn’t quite sure why.
Tumblr media
“No hugging? Really?”
The two of you sat in Gyuvin’s car, scribbling down what you both thought were important ground rules to have for this peculiar fake relationship. You’ve only agreed on three so far.

Park y/n scares creepy fangirls away >:))
You grumble. It clearly didn’t dawn on you how much of a headache this would give you. Gyuvin leaned back on the driver’s seat, exasperated. You watched as he ran a hand through his hair, his brow’s furrowing at your seeming outlandish claim. You only nibbled at your lip; unsure of what exactly was so wrong with what you said. “Yeah. No hugging. Or touching, for that matter.”
“How would anyone believe us if I can’t hug you?” Gyuvin throws his hands in the air like a big baby.
“I dunno? I’m just not a touchy person—It’s not a big deal.” You shrug, swatting away his concerns. Gyuvin springs up from his laid back stance, snatching the notebook away from your unassuming hands. You stay stunned, brows furrowing at what he was doing. You watch as he scribbles profusely before facing the journal your way the minute he finishes.
Kim Gyuvin and Park y/n MUST hold hands (to avoid suspicion!)
The notebook drops onto your lap as you gaze back at Gyuvin, an unamused stare lining your face. “Really?”
“What? Holding hands isn’t that bad!” Gyuvin grins. “It’s not like we haven’t done it, either.”
Heat creeps up to your cheek. His remark earns a punch to his shoulder.
“Are you obsessed with my hands or something?” You scowl.
This time, it was Gyuvin’s turn to grow absolutely flustered. His cheeks grew into a deep red, the wash of colour spreading all the way to the shell of his ear. He coughed out a lump from his throat as picked at the nape of his neck. “What? No—shut up!”
Gyuvin gulped, slightly turning away from you. “It’s a nice middle ground.”
You sigh, your shoulders sinking into the plush of his passenger seat. “Fine.”
Tumblr media
You never thought you’d be spending your Wednesday afternoon eating ice cream atop the trunk of Kim Gyuvin’s car.
It happened seemingly out of nowhere. One minute, you were sitting peacefully in the passenger’s seat. Your mind wanders absently as you hum along to the faint radio emitting from Gyuvin’s crummy speakers. Your windows rolled down halfway; just enough for the wind to graze against your face, to refresh your skin.
The next minute? Kim Gyuvin gasps at a sight on the road. With the way his eyes spilled out of their sockets, his jaw grazing his lap, and his finger jutting out before him, you would think there was a bear on the road, or something. Gyuvin begins to literally howl at the sight, his figure bouncing in his seat like a kid with candy. You finally look over to what the puppy boy was currently losing his mind over.
It was an ice cream stand. On the side of the road. It wasn’t candy, but it was close enough. You rolled your eyes.
“Wanna get ice cream?” Gyuvin’s puppy eyes glimmered with whimsy and wonder; you were at a loss for words. You picked at your lips, eyes avoiding his. “I dunno. I gotta be home soon—”
“But these ice cream stands always change locations—and their stuff’s the best!” You felt the car slowly move to the side of the road before coming to a slow halt. There was no point in arguing now. Gyuvin shifted the car in park. “We’ll be quick, I promise!”
You glanced up at Gyuvin’s eyes once more. They bore into you, glistening in a way that made your heart melt. Damnit.
“Alright, fine.”
“YAYYY THANK YOUUU!” Gyuvin yelped at the top of his lungs as he sprung out of the car. He didn’t forget to dash to your side of the car, opening your door for you before practically skipping his way to the ice cream stand.
You sat on the roof of his car’s trunk, your knees tucked up against your chest as your arms hugged them close. Your fingers loosely latch onto your cone of chocolate ice cream, the frosty exterior stopping you from holding onto the cone with a firm grip. Gyuvin sat beside you, leaning back with his legs sprawled over the trunk’s surface. He brought his mango-flavoured cone up to his lips, about to take his first bite before latching his attention onto you. “Aren’t you gonna eat?”
You gazed up at him. “Yeah, yeah. I will.”
It was peculiar; the way you couldn’t take your eyes off of him. He didn’t look different in a physical sense; same hazelnut hair, same basketball team jacket hugging his frame, same broad shoulders and tall physique. Yet, something was off.
Kim Gyuvin was supposed to be the campus pretty boy. This elusive celebrity of the high school hallway. Completely untouchable to the masses. This Kim Gyuvin, however, was nothing of the sort. He was bubbly and bright. He was clumsy and jumpy. His energy worked overtime, it almost amazed you. He didn’t seem unattainable at all.
It was almost cute.
You choke. What were you thinking? Kim Gyuvin wasn’t cute. Were you crazy?
“y/n!” The touch of a finger poking against your cheek pushed you back to reality. Your eyes once again met Gyuvin’s, now with a mad expression lining his face. “Hurry up and eat—I was waiting for you!”
You finally lick your ice cream cone, stupefied by the creamy consistency and perfectly sweet flavour. The treat melted in your mouth; it was addicting. You couldn’t stop eating it. In your peripheral vision you watched as Gyuvin watched you, a proud grin lining his face. “So? What do you think?”
“...Yummy,” You mutter in between bites. Gyuvin only chuckles. You watch as his puppy eyes fold into crescent moons and your heart melts faster than the ice cream in your hands. With his free hand, Gyuvin pokes out his index finger before lightly tapping the tip of your nose.
“You’re so cute, y/n.”
Your heart performed backflips at his words. Maybe you were starting to prefer this bubbly Kim Gyuvin.
Tumblr media
Sweat beaded off your forehead. Nervousness drilled through your skin.
The reason? Kim Gyuvin, who was currently standing outside of your classroom door.
You knew that today was your first “official” day of the scheme. Hell, you planned the whole scheme out last night on call. Nevertheless, fear shot down your spine. You’ve seen Gyuvin’s fangirls first hand—you knew they wouldn’t handle this new relationship lightly. You weren’t sure if you’d make it out of today alive.
Worst of all? It seems Gyuvin was actually enjoying this.
Gyuvin’s shoulder leaned against the door frame as students funnelled through the narrow exit. Girls glance up in shock, whispering to their friends at the sight of the infamous Kim Gyuvin waiting for someone at the door. Waiting for someone that wasn’t them.
Gyuvin’s eyes finally meet yours, a mischievous grin stretching across his face as waved at you. You glare back at him, looking around for a clear path before stomping over to him.
“What are you doing here?” You seethed through your teeth, jutting a finger at his chest.
Gyuvin only grinned. “I came to visit you before practice, baby!”
The nickname summoned glares from all around you. You were done for. Your voice got quieter. “Didn’t we agree on meeting in the car? So I don’t, you know, die?”
“That would take too long,” Gyuvin waved his hand. “I just wanted to see you.”
Your cheeks flare up at his words. You frantically sweep your hands, gesturing to him to leave. “Well, you see me now, right? So shoo! Before more people kill me with their eyes.”
“Alright, alright,” Gyuvin dragged on his words before his fingers laced in between yours. You jolt, most definitely not ready for the stupid stunt he was about to pull.
Suddenly, Gyuvin gently cupped your hand in his, his thumb softly swiping against your skin as he lifted your hand up to his lips. Air stops right before it reaches your windpipe; you couldn’t breathe. Your heartbeat surged with energy as your eyes widened. He looks back at you one last time before grazing his lips against the heated, flushed surface of your skin. What was Kim Gyuvin thinking?
“Wish me luck at practice, love!”
You choked. Red paint smeared on your back, drawing out the image of a target. The stares of every girl in your homeroom burned through your skin. You glanced up at Gyuvin, a mischievous grin now sweeping across his face. A grin that calms you down in seconds. Odd, considering it's the same grin which sent your heart through turbulence just minutes before.
Tumblr media
Maybe Kim Gyuvin is an idiot.
Maybe he took it a little too far with that stunt he pulled.
He couldn’t help it, though. He saw it in a movie once, and always wanted to try it out. Besides, your reaction was priceless. The way your eyes shoot out of their sockets, your jaw hanging to the floor.
The way your cheeks flared up in minutes, like a milk bun in a toaster preheated way too high. The way you nibbled on your knuckle from your stress. The way your eyes glistened beneath the school’s building lights as you shot him a deathly glare. He could have sworn you carried a galaxy within them.
Gyuvin couldn’t ignore how small your hand was compared to his, either.
Soon enough, Gyuvin’s heart was pounding through his chest. Images of you clouded his vision.
Gosh, you’re adorable.
Gyuvin practically skipped on his way to practise.
Tumblr media
Your stomps of fury echoed throughout the hallway leading up to your school's gym. The impact earned concerned stares from the students passing by, but you didn’t pay them any mind. You were laser-focused on one thing; getting answers from Kim Gyuvin. That cheeky asshole.
What kind of stunt was that? Kissing your hand in front of the sea of fangirls at his disposal? Did he want you to die? With the way your heart was racing, you felt as though you were going to die anyway. You just chalked it up to your rage.
It couldn’t explain the way your cheeks ignited in flames, though.
Your frame burst through the gymnasium doors, the boom bouncing off every surface of the barren room. The facility was practically empty, save for a few students dressed clad in their gym strips and packing their bags to go home for the day. You counted maybe a handful of them standing around, gazing at you like a deer in headlights, but it didn’t matter. You were here for one person, and one person only.
“Gyuvin!” Your voice leaped out of your chest without thinking. You gulp, watching as Gyuvin’s teammates slowly turn towards you, Gawking at you like some foreign creature of the wild. Gyuvin catches your figure in his gaze shortly after, a small smile hooking onto the corner of his lips. “y/n?”
“I need to talk to you.” Your voice softened this time around. A faux smile lined your lips as you made your way towards him.
“You miss me already?” Gyuvin innocently asked, a not-so-innocent grin smacked across his face. You only rolled his eyes. “Oh shush! What the hell was that stunt you pulled just—”
“Wait! These guys don’t know yet!”Gyuvin suddenly nudged your shoulder gently, interrupting you. Pressing a finger to his lips, he tilted his head towards his friends, his voice hushed. “They think we’re really dating!”
“So?” You crossed your arms, your voice meeting his.
“So, we gotta act like a couple!” Gyuvin’s hand gently traced the outside of your arm, slowly falling until he reached your fingertips. He clung onto your fingers loosely, the act making your heart race. “Remember the deal?”
Suddenly, a cog in your brain switched. All eyes were on you, each student curious what would happen next. All attention; laser focused on you. You weren’t looking for an answer, anymore. You wanted to make Kim Gyuvin pay for what he did; for drowning you in a sea of embarrassment. You wanted revenge.
He wanted an act? Oh, you were gonna give him one, alright.
“I mean—Of course I missed you, baby!” Your voice sang sweet like honey. As you raise yourself onto your tippy-toes, your face inches closer to him. You watch as Gyuvin’s eyes spill from their sockets and his face plumps pink. He’s stunned to his core; you’ve turned him to stone. Your free hand cups the side of his face. A smirk lined your lips as they graze against Gyuvin’s cheek in a sweet kiss.
Sweet, sweet revenge.
You step away from the stunned puppy, clinging onto his fingers. You made sure not to miss the stunned faces of Gyuvin’s teammates, their jaws grazing the floor. And who could forget Gyuvin’s reaction? You certainly couldn’t, with the way his face drowned in red, his hands cupping over his mouth. You send him a flirty wink. “I’ll be in the car. Don’t keep me waiting!”
You skipped your way out of the gym, totally ignoring your racing heartbeat. It was just from the adrenaline, anyway.
Tumblr media
“What happened to Matthew, sweetie?” Your mom tilted her head to the side.
You picked at your fingers, eyes darting between your socks and the coffee table just paces beside them. “He couldn’t make it tonight. Gyuvin offered to take me instead.”
Currently, you and Gyuvin are sitting on your living room couch, facing your parents. Barely facing, anyways; you have never been more nervous in your life than at this very moment. A gulp pushed through your chest. You weren’t fully sure why the campus pretty boy was currently in your home. You just wanted him to pick you up right before you had to leave for the concert that evening. Instead, he insisted on coming half an hour early to introduce himself to your parents. Was he crazy?
All of this felt so formal. Like it was a real date. It made your stomach swirl in on itself.
As his forehead proceeded to shed bullets, Gyuvin clumsily shot up from his seat, jutting a hand towards your dad. “My name is Kim Gyuvin, sir! I am y/n’s classmate and I happened to—uh—have tickets to the same concert as her—I have no ulterior motives with your daughter sir, we are just friends—” Gyuvin spat out in a rushed, single breath. Your body cringes as you watch from the sidelines. Your father hesitates, his brows furrowing as he takes the hand of the lost puppy.
“Alright, then. Have her home by 11,” Your dad simply says.
Gyuvin’s chest puffs up, determination swelling in his cheeks. “Yes, sir!”
You gaze up at him from your seat on the couch. The way his brunette head gleamed beneath your living room lights. You watched as his hands moved from fidgeting with his belt loops, to aggressively brushing through his hair, to clinging behind his back. You watched as his eyes burned with a passion you’ve never seen before. As if he was committed to making the best first impression to your parents. A weird feeling bubbled up your chest.
You shot up from your seat and b-lined for the kitchen. “I’ll get everyone some water!”
Escaping to the solitude of your kitchen, you swing open the cabinet door. You reach for the first cup you find before drowning it underneath the faucet water. The white noise of the water pressure flooded your mind. Your weird, weird mind.
“Is that your new boyfriend?” The voice of your mother popped in your ears, nearly making you spit out your water.
Boyfriend? Kim Gyuvin? Was your mother crazy?
You took another gulp of water. Your mother was only half wrong, you suppose. You were technically his fake girlfriend. But that wasn’t the same. Still, the thought made your heart race.
“What? Mom—no!” You quickly brush the thought away. Or try to, anyway. “We’re just friends. It’s not like that.”
You keep eye-contact with your socks as your mother’s voice peaks up again. “That’s too bad. I like him for you.”
You picked at your lips. Why was your heart beating so fast? “What do you mean?”
“The boy seems sweet. Not many guys your age are willing to drive someone around like that. He seemed so eager to meet us, too—that's rare. Plus, he's handsome!” Your mother sent you a soft smile. “Boys like that are hard to come across.”
Images of Gyuvin rush to your mind. Images you couldn’t swat away easily. With no final words, your mom slips out of the kitchen, leaving you to drown in your thoughts.
Tumblr media
It was odd, to say the least.
Music was blasting in Gyuvin’s ears. It was blasting so hard, in fact, that Gyuvin could feel the bass ruminate in his chest. And when there wasn’t any music, the screams of fangirls filled in those gaps. Neon lights blared like sirens from the front of the stage; the brightness almost hurting his eyes. He was drowning in a sea of people; fans dedicated to the music of whatever band was playing before him. There were a multitude of distractions in front of him.
Yet, Kim Gyuvin still had his eyes on you, standing beside him in the crowd.
The way your eyes sparkled the moment the band played your favourite song. The way you threw your arms in the air, dancing to the beat of the music and singing the lyrics with all your heart. The way your smile never failed to brighten up the dim concert hall. It was all Gyuvin could focus on.
Gyuvin couldn’t keep his eyes off of you as his heart beat beneath his chest, overpowering the pressure from the music around him. The heat creeping under his skin could have easily been chalked up to the crowd of people pushing up against his body, but Gyuvin had a feeling that wasn’t it. The culprit was you, taking over every thought he had in his mind.
What if it wasn’t fake?
You and him. Park y/n and Kim Gyuvin. What if it was real?
Gyuvin’s stomach flipped in on itself.
He couldn’t help but laugh as a stranger’s shoulder bumped into him, jolting him back to reality. There was no way you’d want to be with him. This was all just one big lie, anyway. Gyuvin was just reaching for the stars.
Tumblr media
Maybe front row tickets weren’t the smartest idea.
As expensive of a purchase as they were, many people were still able to afford them. As a result, you were swimming in a crowd of avid, committed fans—and you could barely float. Don’t be fooled, you loved this rare opportunity to see your favourite band perform live. Nevertheless, standing in this crowd was exhausting.
Soon enough, the concert had entered its third and final set of the night. But rather than losing their energy, like what was expected to happen at the end of the night, the crowd gained energy. Slowly, the people around you surged with energy; jumping up and down, shoving left and right. Your shoulders roughly crashed against those of your neighbours, but nobody noticed. Everyone was too busy enjoying themselves.
You, however, weren’t. With each strike against your frame, fear shocked through your body. You felt closed in, trapped. You held your limbs close to your chest, out of fear that you’d hurt yourself. You needed a way out.
Suddenly, the face of a certain someone appeared in your mind. A certain someone that you couldn't quite find at the moment.
Where was Gyuvin?
You whip your head around, eyes frantically scanning the blurry, messy crowd. No one resembled the tall puppy boy you grew so familiar with. Your eyes could practically dry out with how hard you worked on them, searching for Gyuvin in a heated frenzy, but he was nowhere to be found. You were enclosed by waves of strangers, not one face looked vaguely familiar to you. Your breaths began to quicken as fear shot down your spine. Your body froze on the spot—a deer in headlights.
Without warning, the touch of a hand grazed against your wrist. You didn’t have time to react before the hand clung onto you, pulling your figure to your right. Soon later, you crashed onto the tense surface of someone’s chest, their body heat swiftly igniting your own.
You glance up, your eyes meeting those puppy eyes you know and love.
Kim Gyuvin looked down at your figure, his gaze overflowing with worry and fear. Your heart finally begins to calm down, your mind finally clearing. You watch as his free hand reaches up to touch you, but it hesitates at the last second. The hand that clung onto yours, however, never dared to let go.
“Stay close, okay? I don’t wanna lose you.”
You gulped, butterflies fluttering at the pit of your stomach. Only now did you fully register how close you two were. You were snug against his chest, faces just centimetres apart. You gazed up at his figure; the way his adam’s apple bobbed up and down, the way his once brunette hair blazed a cool indigo underneath the blaring stage lights. The way that his eyes collected stars as they hung onto you—only you. His breath wisps onto your skin, his shoulders effortlessly caging your frame in his. Your skin suddenly felt hot, flushed.
There was something different about Gyuvin, tonight. You couldn’t put your finger on it.
You didn’t know what came over you, or what monster had possessed you just now, but you found yourself resting your head on Gyuvin’s chest for the rest of the concert. It felt safe there; a part of you never wanted to leave.
“Thank you,” your voice didn’t reach past a whisper.
Tumblr media
10:48pm. The sun retired beneath the sky. Stars peeked through the ebony fabric. The small glimmers of light you did see were in the form of streetlamps, quickly passing you as Gyuvin drove you home.
It was night-time. It was dangerously close to your curfew. Yet you didn’t want to leave.
Gyuvin’s car came to a soft halt as he drove into your driveway. He brought you home right before the hour of your curfew hits, like the gentleman he was. It made your stomach flip in on itself; made your head spiral in directions you didn’t deem possible before. What was Kim Gyuvin doing to you?
The air was tense, quiet. Neither of you spoke as you exited the car, the light outside your house cascading over your figures like liquid gold. You watched as Gyuvin’s eyes grazed through the gravel of your driveway; the leaves of your front yard hedge—but never on you. Though you did the same, it still made your heart sink a little. Was this really the end of the night?
“Hey,” Your voice peaked beneath the silence. “Thanks—for tonight.”
Finally, his eyes land on you. His hand reached up to cling on the nape of his neck. “I mean, you made me come here.”
“Hey! You started this, you know.” You roll your eyes to the stars above, crossing your arms and leaning back on the side of Gyuvin’s car.
Gyuvin’s eyes stayed on you as his figure inched closer. He shoved his hands in his pockets, the cool air condensing his breath into puffs of air every exhale he takes.  You felt your heart race beneath your chest again, forgetting to breathe, yourself, as Gyuvin rests a hip beside you. His eyes folded up into crescent moons.
“And I don’t regret a thing.” His voice was soft, fragile. It made your heart leap.
It was as if the space around had faded away, leaving only you and Kim Gyuvin in its wake. This world was yours and yours alone. You felt your body shifting closer and closer to Gyuvin’s frame. Your figure slowly encases itself in his warmth; his body heat. Your eyes darted back and forth between your shoes and Gyuvin’s eyes. Butterflies bombarded your stomach.
You thought back to your mother’s words from earlier that night.
What if everything was real? What if you had something more?
Adrenaline shot through your chest. It was an absurd thought. But, you clearly weren’t thinking straight.
Your eyes latch onto Gyuvin’s lips. Your hands fiddled with the hem of your jacket. You took note of Gyuvin’s arm, reaching out to you before hesitating, eventually leaning on the roof of his car. His eyes lured yours in, holding them hostage as your hands developed a mind of their own; resting atop of Gyuvin’s shoulders. With your heart springing from your chest, your bodies move closer. Gyuvin’s palm slides up against your cheek as your eyes flutter shut. You felt the puffs of his warm breath graze against your skin. Sure, maybe you weren’t thinking straight. You haven’t been since the concert, but for once, you haven’t felt more sure about anything in your life.
“y/n?”
The voice of your father jolts the two of you back to reality. You jump back, a wall of awkward space slicing through you. Your head darts over to your house’s front door, where you found your dad in his sleep robe and pyjama bottoms, leaning against the door frame. “What are you doing out here? It’s late. Get inside.”
You and Gyuvin simultaneously cleared your throats, your eyes dodging each other as you scramble to collect yourselves. You and Gyuvin said your hesitant goodbyes as you trekked into your home.
Gosh, you’re so stupid.
Tumblr media
Kim Gyuvin couldn’t move out of your driveway. His figure was frozen, immobile as he sat in the driver’s seat. His hands hung loosely around the stagnant steering wheel as his mind ran in circles.
Kim Gyuvin is an idiot.
He was rash and reckless; a complete fool. He should’ve known better than to try and kiss you. He knew this relationship—this fake relationship, was nothing but a complex business venture. He knew that no real feelings were supposed to mix in this cauldron of lies. Things would turn messy if they did. You two had a simple deal; he would drive you around, while you drove away those crazy fangirls he had seemed to forget about.
He also knew that none of that seemed to matter anymore. The more time he spent with you, the more he focused on you. You had his heart on lockdown; and he didn’t mind it one bit.
He also knew that you could feel it, too. The way you leaned into him, your hands clinging onto his shoulders, pulling him in. The way you gazed up at him, your eyes glimmering golden from the streetlights above. Maybe it was too early to tell, but the excitement was already buzzing through his chest.
Maybe he had a chance.
There was only one way he could find out.
Sitting up straight, Gyuvin shifted his car in reverse before slowly backing out of your driveway. He opted to wait for another day, seeing how late it was in the evening. But that didn’t stop the adrenaline from coursing through his body.
Kim Gyuvin is an idiot.
An idiot who has fallen for you.
Tumblr media
“You almost WHAT?” Matthew’s voice jumped out of your phone like a fish out of water. You dug your head in your hands, a million different emotions rushing through your mind. You spun around in your desk chair, getting dizzy as you stared up at the ceiling. It didn’t matter though; your mind was already spinning. Spinning with thoughts of Kim Gyuvin.
“We almost kissed.” You muttered, your head sinking onto the surface of your desk. “When he dropped me off yesterday. We just started talking outside his car. One thing led to another and—God, I wanna die.”
A series of incoherent mumbles erupted from Matthew’s line. “What stopped you? Why didn’t you just kiss him?”
“My dad caught us outside.” You groan, your fingers digging into your temples. “Besides, I was just being stupid. I shouldn’t have tried to kiss him.”
Matthew finally calmed down. You could hear him munching on a snack through the phone. “Why’s that?”
Wasn’t it obvious? You weren’t supposed to be with Kim Gyuvin. This relationship was supposed to be fake; a strict business plan. You had no real chance with Kim Gyuvin—he was the campus pretty boy, after all. You huff a sigh from your chest.
“I can’t be with him. Everything we had—it’s all fake. A fake relationship so he could get away from those crazy fangirls, and I could stop taking the bus in the rain. We can’t just—”
“Do you like him?”
Matthew’s words cut through yours like a knife. You choke. Stubbornly, your mind ventures out to images of Gyuvin Images of Gyuvin’s puppy dog eyes—those very same eyes that would fold up into heart-wrenching crescent moons every time he smiled. You thought about his touchy tendencies and the ways he made your heart race. From booping your nose to kissing the back of your hand. You thought about how you first met; how he clung onto your hand for dear life. How you thought it was weird then, but now you didn’t seem to mind. No one seemed to make your heart flutter the same way Kim Gyuvin did.
“Yeah.” You heard yourself answer without much thought. Heat creeped up to your cheeks.
“Then none of that matters!”
Your stomach flips in on itself. Matthew was right. You liked Kim Gyuvin; and you weren’t going to let anything get in your way.
“I’ll call you back, Matthew.” You quickly swipe at your phone.
“GO GET YOUR MANS—” Matthew’s voice peaked through the mic before you hastily ended the call.
You were more than disarrayed when it came to getting ready to leave the house. A haphazardly draped sweater hung over your figure. You didn’t bother to change out of your pyjama shorts as you slid on your house slippers. You weren’t fully sure if they were matching, either; you didn’t have the time to care. With your stare blazing with determination, you only cared about one thing; making your way to Kim Gyuvin.
With more strength than you anticipated you swing your front door open, immediately greeting the harsh welcome of the afternoon sunlight and crisp breeze. After wincing at the light, you look up.
You choke.
It wasn’t just the weather that greeted you with an extra shock factor this afternoon. With a rose in one hand, and his other hand balled up into a fist in the air—you assumed he was about to knock on your door—a figure stood before you. His puppy dog eyes stared back at you with determination as your heart performed backflips beneath your chest.
Kim Gyuvin was already there; at your front door, waiting for you.
Tumblr media
“Gyuvin?!” You jolt, stepping out of the house and sealing the front door behind you shut. Kim Gyuvin towered over you, his tall frame shielding you from the blaring afternoon sun. But the warmth on your face stayed, all the same. You gulp, immediately aware of your less than tasteful current appearance. You swipe at your hair, taming any potential fly aways before fiddling with the handle of your zipper. You winced in embarrassment. “What are you doing here?”
Gyuvin nervously scans his surroundings before looking down at the rose in his hand. He pushes it forward; towards you.
“I, um—I thought of you.”
Your heart simultaneously surged with energy and melted into a puddle; were you having a heart attack? Your fingers grazed the rose, your chest buzzing with a feeling you couldn’t explain. You part your lips to say something, but it seems Gyuvin wasn’t finished.
“I haven’t stopped thinking about you, actually. Ever since I met you and randomly held your hand, I can’t stop thinking about you.”
You gulp. “Gyuvin—”
The puppy boy gazed down at his shoes, the shell of his ear turning pink. “Maybe this is selfish, but I don’t like having to use some weird, intricate plan to spend time with you. I wanna drive you around, but not just because it’s a rule we discussed on a piece of paper. Everything in me is telling me that I need to be with you. Like—really be with you.”
“Gyuvin—”
“I know you probably don’t wanna hear this. I just wanted to get it off my chest. I  guess I should’ve planned this out more, sorry about that—”
“Gyuvin!” You watched as the puppy boy jumped, his eyes collecting stars in broad daylight; it amazed you.
Gosh, you couldn’t take it anymore.
It all happened in mere seconds. Your heart danced beneath your chest as it heaved with energy. You were a balloon seconds before popping. Your limbs gained rebellious minds of their own, your legs inching closer to Gyuvin’s frame as your arms reached out to cling onto his jacket. Gyuvin only gazes back at you, his figure not daring to step away from you as he lets you pull him closer. A thread of space hung in the balance of your faces. With your mind splitting in different directions, and your heart finally leading your body, you squeeze your eyes shut;
Capturing your lips in his.
Candy. Kim Gyuvin tasted like candy as your lips melted into his. Slowly but surely, your figures began to move. Gyuvin’s touch was soft, fragile. His arm gently snakes around the small of your waist as the other supports your head by the palm. Your hands slip on either side of Gyuvin’s face, pulling him closer. He was snug against your frame—so close that he could feel the butterflies erupting from the pit of your swirling stomach. So close that he could touch the heart that was beating rapidly. Rapidly for him. Nevertheless, you wouldn’t dare to let him go.
Your lips hesitantly pluck apart, both of you torn between reaching out for another kiss and taking a much needed deep breath. Your chest heaves as you glance up at him, your face drenched in flustered heat. Kim Gyuvin wasn’t any better, with his face smeared in red blush. It was gut-wrenchingly adorable. You gulp, still breathless.
“I wanna be with you, too.”
Gyuvin only gapes at you, completely stunned as you continue. “From the moment I met you, you never failed to amaze me. Everything with you has been so spontaneous and fun—it’s all so new to me. But I don’t hate it. I wanna experience more with you, Gyuvin. I wanna be with you—for real, this time.”
The silence, accompanied by the squawks of the birds in the sky, drops you into reality as your skin runs hot from embarrassment. Gyuvin only gulps, his hold on your waist tightening ever so slightly. His eyes gaze into yours, practically forming into hearts as he pulls you close.
“God—I like you so much, y/n” Gyuvin’s chest buzzed with excitement as he peppered small kisses all over your face. Your heated, flushed face. You reach up to play with his brunette hair, a smile staining your cheeks.
“I like you more, dummy.”
Tumblr media
Kim Gyuvin leaned against the doorframe of your classroom.
You skipped your way over to your boyfriend as the clamour of students packed up their belongings for the day. Eyes of every girl in your class darted towards you and Kim Gyuvin. It was the school’s latest hot topic; the campus pretty boy and the stingy class president—a match made in heaven.
It was as if your bodies were made for one another; the way you folded into each other’s arms with immense ease. Gyuvin’s arm snaked around your waist as you clung onto the nape of his neck, pulling him in for a sweet kiss.
“You got practice?” You ask after pulling away.
“Yeah.” Gyuvin huffed. “Just wanted to see you!”
“You’ll be late, Gyuvin.” You cross your arms, cocking an eyebrow. “You’re not just trying to stall and eventually skip, are you?”
Gyuvin only dragged on a long, indecisive hum before you sent a fist to his shoulder. “Go to practice!”
“Okay, fine!” Gyuvin bends down and places a quick peck on your cheek. Even as your boyfriend, Gyuvin never failed to make your heart flutter. “I’ll see you later, baby!”
As you retired back to your desk to retrieve your things, you felt the stares of various fangirls burning through you. But they didn’t matter. Unfortunately for them; you had Kim Gyuvin’s heart on lockdown, and you wouldn’t have it any other way!

Hii! If your still taking request i might’ve have something for you, only if you would like to make it, i just love your stories so much, and click on it when i see you have posted!!! ( it’s a Wanda x daughter!newborn y/n reader😅 kinda something)
Anyway, the storie i have thought off, was maybe that Wanda was pregnant and was about to give birth, (she’s in her late 9 month of pregnancy) when the Avengers came to rescue them, she’s in a bit of distress when they came, and feels a contraction or something, (maybe this was after they first met and she used her powers on them) the others wouldn’t help her, even tho Nat got most hit, she would help her and demand the others to help or something, and she ends up in so much pain before they reach the compound ? A little chaotic with some fluff at the end?😅
Hope this make sense, just an idea😅
Merry Christmas!
Little miracle
Tumblr media
Y/N: newborn ——————————————————
NO ONE'S POV "Wanda, are you sure you want to do this?" Pietro sighs, worry in his eyes as he's looking at his sister and hoping she'll change her mind.
"He has to pay for what he did to our parents, Pietro" Wanda says seriously, preparing herself for meeting the Avengers once again.
The twins and the Avengers have already had one encounter and it wasn't nice at all. The original plan of the Avengers was to take down another hydra base, but the twins showed up and made some damage on them.
The team hasn't given up though. Steve is convinced that the young siblings need help, so that's why the team is headed to the abandoned place Wanda and Pietro are hiding at.
Wanda knows though and she's determined to destroy them… specially Tony Stark as the twins blame him for their parents' death. What keeps Pietro worried is that his sister is in her last month of pregnancy. He'll soon become an uncle, but another fight with the Avengers definitely isn't good for the baby.
"They're here" Wanda announces, her nervousness becoming bigger and bigger.
She won't admit it to her brother, but she is nervous and stressed that something might go wrong and her baby would get hurt. Her stubborn self just has to avenge her parents though.
As soon as the Avengers are standing in front of them, the twins are ready to attack, a red magic ball formed in both Wanda's hands… So the fight starts, Pietro using his superspeed while Wanda's using her mind-reading abilities, getting into their minds and showing them their worst fears or memories. Though suddenly something just doesn't feel right. A sudden pain makes Wanda let out a groan.
"Wanda?" Pietro looks over at his sister concerned, immediately making his way over to her.
"I'm good, it was just- ahhh" Another contraction interrupts Wanda's sentence, making her immediately put her hand under her stomach.
"Wanda" Pietro wraps his arm around his sister, not knowing what to do at all while the Avengers are either deep in their thoughts or watching the siblings confused.
"It's nothing, it's no- oh my god" Wanda groans, digging her nails into her brother's arm as another contraction hits, making him hiss in pain. "My water just broke! Do something, Pietro!" She raises her voice, nearly dropping down to her knees if Pietro wouldn't hold her.
"So, hmm… Are we fighting or not?" Tony asks, interrupting this uncomfortable moment.
"I can't do this, Pietro. I can't" Wanda whispers, panicking as her contractions are picking up on speed.
As Wanda lets out another loud groan, Natasha's up on her feet again, shaking her head to get rid off the horrible memory Wanda made her see.
"She's giving birth" Natasha say, slowly making her way over to the twins with her arms up to show them she's there to help.
"Pietro" Wanda whispers, looking at the Avenger that's walking closer, making her brother turn around and spot the redhead.
"I wanna help" Natasha assures, still keeping her arms up, so worried Pietro just nods as he has absolutely no idea what to do. "You need to breath, Wanda. Breath with me" She says softly, taking a hold of Wanda's hand and trying to get the young girl to breath properly. "Don't stand there like that! Help me get her to the jet!" She orders to her team members quickly before looking back at Wanda. "That's it, you're doing great"
The Avengers are quick to listen, Steve helping Pietro to get the young witch to the jet while Clint's already in the jet, ready to set off to the compound.
"I'm not ready, I don't think I can do it" Wanda whispers as soon as she's sitting in the jet, tears filling her eyes as she's gripping her brother's and Natasha's hands.
"Of course you can, Wanda. Everything will be okay. You'll have your baby son or daughter soon" Natasha gives the scared girl a soft smile, rubbing her knuckles with her thumb before Wanda squeezes her hand once again as another contraction comes, making both Natasha and Pietro let out groan.
"Daughter. It's a girl" Wanda whispers.
"Oh, a girl? See, you'll have your baby daughter soon. Have you thought about a name already?" Natasha continues the conversation, trying to distract Wanda from the pain.
"Mhm. Y/N… Y/N Maximoff" A small smile forms on Wanda's face, loving the name she's chosen for her baby girl.
"That's a beautiful name. Did you choose it?"
"Yeah, I- aaah. Oh my god, are we there yet?!"
———
"Few more pushes" The doctor informs, trying to encourage Wanda, thought the witch feels exhausted as ever.
Pietro being the supportive brother he is, he agreed he'd be there with Wanda the whole time. Though it looks like he overestimated himself as he got soon replaced by Natasha.
"I don't think I can do it, I can't anymore" Wanda nearly whispers, tears slowly running down her cheeks.
"Of course you can, Wanda. I know we don't really know each other, but I just know you can do it. You're such a strong girl" Natasha encourages, giving Wanda a soft smile.
"Let's push on three, okay?" The doctor says on which Wanda nods. "Good… One, two, three. Push"
Wanda squeezes her eyes shut, trying to push as much as she can while squeezing Natasha's hand for her dear life.
"You're doing so good, let's go again. One, two, three. Push" The doctor says on which Wanda repeats her actions as good as she can, Natasha trying not to hiss in pain from Wanda's tight grip over her hand.
As soon as the room fill baby cries, Wanda rests her head on the pillow, completely exhausted.
"You did it" Natasha smiles warmly, wiping away the tear that's escaped her eye. It doesn't happen often when Natasha gets emotional.
"Are you ready to see your daughter?" The doctor asks with a smile, handing Wanda the little one wrapped in a pink blanket.
"Oh hi" Wanda smiles, tears forming in her eyes once again, Natasha smiling at the sight. "You're so beautiful, sweetheart. I'm your mommy" The brunette whispers, tears running down her cheeks while she's rubbing her daughter's small knuckles with her finger. "I love you so much, Y/N/N. Mommy will always protect you, I promise"

I've never written about giving birth, so hopefully it's not too bad xd

And finally, the big conclusion! When I was planning to not really binderary, getting copies of these books was my big goal. And then when I did binderary after all, I, uh, ended up with two sets of two books. And let's not even talk about how late these are in the grand scheme of things, these have been in my plans for literal years, and I originally intended to get them done well before official translations started releasing (I'm doing great!!). But here they are! Thousand Autumns and Peerless! TWICE!!!!
Tumblr media
Okay. Okay. So here's the thing. These books are long. Thousand Autumns is something like 450k, and Peerless is closer to 550k. I hate splitting cnovels. I didn't want to sand instead of trimming. I wanted to keep these books as pairs (because Peerless has my favorite danmei ship of all time, but doesn't hit as hard without the Thousand Autumns context, and EVERYTHING hits less hard without knowing that yan wushi is out there. existing.)
These goals are not terribly well aligned with the facts! The facts are that those are awfully big books to fit into a single volume, if I want to use my guillotine! This is another driving force behind my small text theme of the month. It made the typesets a goddamn nightmare, and my initial copies of the books were done on half-legal paper, which I've never done before and may never do again. I finished those, and those are... big, heavy books. Not super portable. Time to see if my eyes are good for four point georgia, and spoilers, they ARE.
Set one, the large set, I wanted to use more of my snake leather. I had this GORGEOUS purple and green and black iridescent hide that i was determined to use, and fortunately I had just enough of the perfect fabric to pair with it.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But.... meanwhile, I've been buying peacock fabrics since 2021 for the sake of Feng Xiao. I had to use at least ONE of them! Fortunately, I've hoarded enough fabric that I was able to find a nice harmonious floral fabric to cover thousand autumns, and then had a nice duo bookcloth to make spines for them both! These books are quarter-legal, and the font is genuinely SO small, but still, pleasantly readable for me, my favorite customer 😂
Tumblr media Tumblr media
These books were SO MUCH work to typeset snd bind, but I'm still so excited about how both sets came out! Because of my own impatience with repeating myself like, literally two days later, i redid a number of decorative elements in the typeset as well as the binding. Different chapter headers, different dividers, totally different vibes for the endpapers! This was a big project to ask from myself in such short order, especially when I was starting to flirt with burnout, but I genuinely couldn't be happier with the results :D

This is a repost of part 4 because I stupidly deleted the original by accident. Since this part was the one I altered the most while writing (I did it on Tumblr), the file I had with the story was quite different. I managed to recover most of it, but it's not exactly the same as before. If you read the original post, some details may be different, but all the old scenes are there. And if it's your first time reading, don't worry because the essence is there - the original was just slightly improved. But it's the best I could do. I hope you like it.

In the morning, you woke up early with Jungkook beside you, undisturbed by the blaring alarm. You made your way back to your dorm, took a much-needed shower, and clung to your water bottle like it was your lifeline during class. The hangover left you feeling out of sorts, unable to focus on the lecture as memories of the previous night continued to dance through your mind. While you didn't regret being with Jungkook, a part of you wondered if it might have been better if it hadn't happened.
Chae-Yeong: hey, girl. are you alive?

The day rolled on with you struggling to cope with your hangover, but by noon, you started to feel much better. After a short nap following lunch, you focused on completing some work due for the upcoming weekend when your phone rang, and it was Jungkook calling.
"Hi," you answered, glancing at your laptop screen.
"Hey, how are you?" his voice was calm and unhurried.
"I'm fine, and you?"
"I'm good. I was wondering if you'd like to come over and grab something to eat," Jungkook offered.
You found yourself at a loss for words. You had clearly failed at your mission to maintain some distance from him last night. But accepting his offer now meant reverting to the same old routine of pretending nothing significant had happened between you two, and you were growing tired of it.
"I can't, Jungkook. I have so much stuff to do," you replied, hesitating but determined to stick to your decision.
Jungkook's voice carried a hint of disappointment, though he tried to hide it. "Oh, I see. Well, maybe another time then."
"Definitely, let's plan for another time when I'm not buried under work."
"Sure thing," he replied, his tone shifting to a more neutral one. "Take care, Y/N."
"You too, Jungkook."
After ending the call, you couldn't help but replay the conversation in your mind. It was clear that Jungkook wanted to see you again, but you were determined to assert control over your feelings and not fall into the same pattern as before. You turned your attention back to your work, trying to stay focused and avoid any distractions.
Once you had completed your work, you found yourself mulling over Jungkook's offer. A part of you truly wanted to spend time with him, and you began to wonder if perhaps it was your own reservations that were complicating things. You reminded yourself that, above all, you and Jungkook were friends, and maybe embracing that fact was the key to making things better and more relaxed between you two.
After some introspection, you decided to give it a shot. Changing your mind about going wasn't a challenge at all, especially when deep down, you really wanted to. The only hesitation stemmed from the feeling that maybe you shouldn't. Nevertheless, you put in the effort, fixing your appearance, brushing your hair, applying a touch of makeup, and grabbing your bag. You made your way to Jungkook's place, which conveniently was just four blocks away from your dorm.
You knocked on the door a few times until Taehyung, engrossed in a phone conversation, welcomed you in with a smile. He gestured for you to wait a moment as he finished his call.
"No, I'm not going anywhere; I promise." There was a pause. "Hmm, alright. Yeah, sure. See you then, beautiful."
You raised an intrigued eyebrow at the last part of the conversation, prompting Taehyung to give you a knowing look as he ended the call.
"Don't even start," he warned.
"But I..."
"She's just a friend," he nonchalantly shrugged, causing you to roll your eyes.
"You guys and this 'just friends' thing," you sighed with a hint of indignation.
"Maybe, just a friend for now?" he corrected with a mischievous grin, which made you smile, satisfied.
"Fair enough."
He let out a soft chuckle.
"Speaking of friends, yours is upstairs. You can head up," Taehyung said, pointing to the staircase. "I'll repeat the same as yesterday..."
"Hey, it wasn't that bad, was it?" You felt your cheeks flush and playfully slapped Taehyung on the shoulder.
"I was so drunk that I don't remember anything, to be completely honest," he confessed, rubbing his eyes, and then he headed to the couch where his open laptop awaited. "And today, I need to submit a paper by 11 am tomorrow because I simply pretended college didn't exist for a whole week," he grumbled, taking a seat, and you couldn't help but laugh.
"Yeah, I know that feeling all too well. I do that quite often," you admitted with a sigh before making your intentions clear. "Well, I'll head upstairs then, alright?"
He mumbled a brief "okay," and you ascended the stairs in measured steps. The hallway was unusually quiet, leaving you curious about where the rest of the guys might be. As you reached Jungkook's door, you gave it a gentle knock and waited for a response. However, none came. With a sense of curiosity, you cautiously pushed the door open, only to find Jungkook's room empty. Strange.
You then noticed his open notebook on the table and an Overwatch game running. You chuckled, imagining what his evening might look like without your company. As you examined his study table, you saw a corkboard adorned with sticky notes and an array of photos: some featured him alongside all the guys he shared the house with, others displayed moments with his parents, one showed just him and Jimin, another captured Jimin, him, and Taehyung, and, to your surprise, there was also a picture of the two of you. It was a snapshot from the day of the party when you both first kissed. Both of you wore wide smiles, eyes closed, tongues playfully poking out, with his cheek resting against yours—it was a selfie. You held the photos in your hands and, as you examined them more closely, you heard the door swing open. Startled, you dropped the picture and swiveled toward the door, where Jungkook strolled into the room, clad only in a towel secured around his waist, with his hair damp and tousled. You couldn't help but think that post-shower Jungkook was one of his most sexy forms.
"Fuck, Y/N, you nearly scared me to death," he said, closing the door. "I thought you wouldn't make it."
Jungkook drew closer, his scent filling the room.
"Yeah, I managed to finish earlier than I thought," you replied, trying your best not to stare at Jungkook's semi-naked torso, though you failed miserably.
He flashed a sly, sidelong grin, indicating that he had noticed.
"Wanna take a picture?" he teased, and you rolled your eyes, huffing.
"I've seen better," you retorted, and he chuckled, his tone laced with irony.
"Doubt it." Jungkook turned away to open his wardrobe. "Like who? John?" His tone remained playfully ironic, and you sighed.
"Not quite..."
"Not quite?" Jungkook glanced over his shoulder, raising an eyebrow while holding a white shirt in one hand and gray sweatpants in the other.
"Could you stop?" You said, sitting on his bed and placing your bag on the chair at his study table.
"You started it," he shrugged and pulled on the shirt. "Is this better? Will it help you stay less distracted?" Jungkook's playful and teasing tone persisted. You grabbed his pillow and hurled it at him, catching him off guard and hitting him in the face. Laughter bubbled up from deep within you as you sprawled out on the bed.
"You're so funny, ha-ha," he remarked, holding the pillow and tossing it back in your direction without any intention of actually hitting you. You continued to laugh heartily while maintaining your gaze in his direction.
"Could you turn around?" he asked, pointing to the wall with a nod of his head.
"Why?" you widened your eyes playfully. "Feeling shy? Weren't you the one who said I've seen you naked plenty of times?"
He stared at you for a few seconds, narrowing his eyes.
"Alright," Jungkook said and let the towel drop.
You couldn't help but steal a glance from head to toe, quickly averting your gaze.
"Feeling shy?" he teased, mimicking your voice while grabbing his underwear and pulling them on.
"Shut up, loser"
"Are you going to say you've seen better again?" He raises an eyebrow and puts on his pants. "You're such an ingrate, aren't you?" he teases, and you burst into laughter.
"No, Jungkook, I take it all back. You're the best dick I've ever had, no doubt." You playfully gesture dramatically, and he shakes his head with a smirk.
Jungkook sits facing you, and you gaze at the corkboard with the photos and notes.
"I don't remember seeing this yesterday," you say quietly, examining the photos again.
"I guess you didn't get to see much yesterday," he teases, and you tilt your head and roll your eyes.
"Jungkook..."
"Hmm?"
“Can you stop?”
He gives an approving nod and picks up his phone.
"What would you like to eat?" He swiftly slides his thumb across the screen.
"Hm, I'm not sure... how about pizza?" you reply, a bit uncertain.
"I've got a bottle of wine somewhere around here," Jungkook says, his eyes still fixed on his phone.
"I'm not sure if wine is a good idea," you recall the last time you shared wine with Jungkook.
"Why?" he inquires, finally shifting his gaze to you, and you shoot him an explanatory look.
"Ah," he chuckles. "We can just take it easy."
"Okay," you agree.
After Jungkook orders the pizza, he persuades you to watch him play a game of Overwatch. You can only see some hero-clad characters, and to be honest, you're not entirely sure about the game's objective, despite Jungkook's attempts to explain it. Your interest is limited, but you find pleasure in observing his intense focus. He looks so sexy.
"You see, the goal is to work together as a team to complete objectives and defeat the enemy team," Jungkook explained, attempting to simplify the game's mechanics.
You nodded, “Got it, teamwork and objectives."
Jungkook's focus didn't waver as he continued to play, occasionally issuing quick commands to his teammates through his headset. When the match finally ended with a victory for Jungkook's team, he let out a triumphant shout.
“I'm so freaking good," he boasts, and you grimace.
"You're just okay, Jungkook," you tease, and Jungkook shoots you an irritated look.
"Do you hate me?" he asks seriously, and you burst into laughter. Before you could utter a word, Jungkook made an announcement.
"The pizza's here." He rose from his laptop and left the door ajar as he headed to collect the pizza. As he descended the stairs for the pizza, you decided to go  down to the kitchen to fetch some glasses for the wine.
"Leave a slice for me," Taehyung called out, his eyes glued to his laptop, fingers dancing across the keyboard at lightning speed.
"Dream on," Jungkook retorted, carrying the pizza box and returning up the stairs, with you in tow, holding two glasses.
"Hey, don't be mean to Tae!" you scolded. "We'll save a slice for you, Taehyung, especially because there's no way just the two of us can tackle an entire pizza."
In truth, however, that's precisely what occurred. You and Jungkook devoured an entire pizza and polished off a bottle of wine in less than forty minutes. In your defense, the wine was so sweet it might as well have been grape juice.
"Oh my God, I'm absolutely stuffed," Jungkook complained, sprawled out on the bed next to you, hands resting on his belly.
"Tell me about it," you sighed. He let out a burp, and you both chuckled.
As you and Jungkook lay there, feeling equally content and satiated, he suddenly sat up with a look of realization on his face.
"Oh, shit," Jungkook exclaimed, his eyes widening. "I completely forgot."
You raised an eyebrow, curious. "What did you forget?" Jungkook scratched his head, a sheepish look on his face.
“I need to go to my friend's house. He's away with his parents, and I promised to take care of his birds and his fish."
You chuckled, "Well, that's an important responsibility, Jungkook. We can't have hungry birds and fish."
"Hey, would you like to come with me? It won't take long, I promise."
"Why not?" you replied with a grin. "I've never been on a bird and fish-feeding mission before. Let's do it."
Together, you and Jungkook headed out of his room and made your way to his friend's house, which wasn't far from his own. As you walked and chatted along the way.
Arriving at Jungkook's college friend's house, you both stood in front of the door. Jungkook unlocked it and led you inside. The space was cozy and filled with the chirping of birds coming from a large cage in one corner of the room. A sizable fish tank was placed nearby, filled with colorful fish gliding gracefully through the water.
Jungkook greeted the birds with a cheerful, "Hey there, little guys!" as he approached the cage, reaching for the container of birdseed. You watched with a smile as he carefully replenished their food and water.
"Looks like they're happy to see you," you remarked.
Jungkook laughed.
"Yeah, they've gotten used to me stopping by. I do it sometimes. And these fish," he added, gesturing to the aquarium, "they're pretty low-maintenance. Just need to make sure their filter's clean and give them some flakes."
As Jungkook took care of the fish, you watched him and once the feeding mission was complete, Jungkook closed the cage and the fish tank, ensuring everything was in order. "That should do it," he said, satisfied. You were just leaving when he looked at you with a mischievous glint in his eye.
"You know," he began, "since we're already here, my friend has this fantastic indoor, heated pool. It's pretty incredible."
You raised an eyebrow, intrigued.
"An indoor, heated pool, you say? That sounds tempting. Why does he have one, though?"
Jungkook grinned, "Well, he's actually on the college swimming team. They practice all year round, even in cold weather. So, the pool is kind of a necessity for him."
"A swimming pool, huh? That does sound fun. What do you think?" "I think it's a great idea," he responded, raising his eyebrows and giving you a playful smile.
You arched an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "And may I ask what we're going to wear for swimming, and more importantly, what we're going to wear back to your place?"
"It's quite simple," he casually explained, "they have a heater there, so we can undress, take a dip au naturel, and then slip back into our clothes to head home."
You regarded him with a hint of hesitation. "What if I end up catching a cold tomorrow?"
His smile remained reassuring.
"You won't."
"But what if I do?" you persisted.
"I'll take care of you," he said, drawing nearer. "Haven't I taken care of you before?"
You couldn't help but be charmed by Jungkook's confident assurance and the playful glint in his eyes. His willingness to embrace spontaneity was contagious, and you found yourself nodding in agreement.
"Alright, Jungkook, let's do it," you declared, giving in to the excitement of the moment.
You and Jungkook made your way to the exterior of his friend's house, with Jungkook reassuring you that using the pool without the homeowner present would be perfectly fine. As you entered the covered area of the pool, Jungkook switched on the lights and the heater. You strolled over to the pool's edge, kicked off your shoes, and dipped your toe into the pleasantly warm water. The pool wasn't very large, but it seemed sufficient for Jungkook's friend to keep up with training at home, you thought.
Jungkook grinned mischievously and began to shed his layers, starting with his sweatshirt and followed by his T-shirt. He watched you attentively as he unbuttoned his pants.
"Need a hand?" he teased, causing you to roll your eyes.
"No, thanks," you retorted, sticking your tongue out playfully. You then removed your jacket, shirt, and pants, leaving you in your underwear.
Jungkook chuckled and mumbled, "Getting to see me naked again."
You laughed, and as you reached for your bra clasp, you suddenly realized the daring nature of the situation. As you slowly removed your bra, you felt Jungkook's gaze locked on you.
"Could you stop staring at me, Jeon Jungkook?" you quipped.
He furrowed his brow and smiled, his dimple on full display. "I suppose that's for the best," he sighed, and you couldn't help but smile in response.
Before you could proceed to remove your panties, Jungkook playfully leaped into the pool. You didn't even have time to think and followed suit, immediately feeling a rush of regret. For a brief moment, you questioned how he had managed to convince you to do this—it was completely absurd.
Jungkook emerged from the water, his wet hair slicked back, with droplets running down his face. The water level reached just below Jungkook's chest. You also resurfaced, adjusting your wet hair and swimming in his direction, keeping a bit of distance.
"Wanna race?" he suggested with a sly grin. Before you could respond, he dove ahead of you to the pool's edge, and you eagerly followed suit.
"Jungkook, this idea was terrible. esides having to walk back to your place with wet hair in this cold, I also just ate half a pizza with you," you complained as you swam slowly toward the pool's edge.
Jungkook chuckled as you reached the edge of the pool. "Well, it's all about making memories, right?"
You couldn't resist adding a touch of drama to your reply. "Or potentially freezing to death!"
He grinned, teasing you in return. "Don't be such a drama queen."
"I'm not," you replied indignantly. But before you could think, Jungkook playfully splashed water at you with his hands. Caught off guard, you swallowed some water and coughed a bit before retaliating by smacking both your hands on the water angrily, splashing it everywhere. "I hate you, Jeon Jungkook."
Jungkook burst into laughter as you splashed him back, creating a playful water battle right there by the poolside.
After a particularly epic splash, Jungkook surrendered, raising his hands in mock defeat. "Okay, okay, you win this round."
You grinned triumphantly, a mischievous glint in your eye. "That's right, Jeon Jungkook, don't mess with the drama queen."
After spending some time in the pool, you both decided it was time to head out. Jungkook had retrieved towels from a nearby cabinet, and you covered yourself with one as soon as you emerged from the water, vigorously drying yourself with your back turned to Jungkook. With each sweep of the towel, you attempted to rid yourself of every trace of water before donning your warm clothes again.
Once you were both dressed, you left the used towels to dry and exchanged glances, silently acknowledging the inevitable transition from the cozy poolside to the frigid night. Jungkook switched off the lights, turned off the heater, and held your hand, opening the door. The chilly wind hit your face, and you couldn't help but wince, clutching Jungkook's hand tightly. Your long, wet hair clung to your skin, intensifying the discomfort.
Seeking warmth, Jungkook enveloped you in his arms, drawing you closer and pressing his body against yours. He had raised the hood of his sweatshirt, and you buried your face in his neck.
"It's freezing," you whined, shivering involuntarily.
"Yeah, it was a terrible idea," Jungkook conceded with a chuckle, his arms tightening around you.
"Have I told you today that I hate you?"
"Several times," he replied, his voice laced with amusement, and he held you even closer. Your eyes met, his gaze softening as he brushed his cold nose against yours. You took a deep breath, feeling the warmth of his breath mingling with yours. Gently, your lips met in a soft, lingering kiss.
"Let's make a run for your place, please," you said, looking at him with a playful sense of urgency.
Jungkook nodded in agreement, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Race you!" he challenged with a playful grin.
Before you could protest, he took off running, pulling you along with him. The cold air whipped against your damp skin as you sprinted together towards his house. The streetlights cast long, playful shadows as you both laughed, breathless from both the cold and the rush of adrenaline.
Finally, you arrived at Jungkook's doorstep, your laughter echoing through the quiet night.
Once inside, you both hurried to the warmth of the living room, where the cozy ambiance enveloped you like a comforting hug.  Jungkook turned to you, his eyes filled with mischief. "Well, that was an adventure," he remarked, a hint of laughter in his voice.
You couldn't help but grin, the cold outside now just a distant memory. "And it's all your fault," you teased, playfully poking his chest.
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, "I really like you."
He leaned in closer, his lips brushing against your ear as he whispered, "Do you regret it?”
You turned to look into his eyes, your heart pounding in your chest.
Your voice was just a whisper as you replied, "No, Jungkook, I don't regret a single moment of it."
With those words, he closed the gap between you, capturing your lips in a tender kiss.
Your hands, still cold from the pool, reached for Jungkook's damp and chilly hair. He held onto your waist with one hand, while the other cupped your face, his fingers as cold as yours. You tilted your head to the side, granting access to his tongue, letting out a muffled moan as you felt Jungkook's body pressed close to yours.
Jungkook intensified the kiss and, for a moment, he seemed completely desperate. You didn't care at all, because you were just as desperate as he was. Holding your waist firmly, he guided your body to take a few steps back, until you were leaning against the wall near the stairs. Your hands slid down his back and Jungkook panted into the kiss. You felt Jungkook's fingers go towards your thigh, but before you could reach it you heard a clearing of your throat, making you pull away and look towards the sound. It was Taehyung, looking at you with an amused smile.
"I'm not into voyeurism," Taehyung remarked, making a face of mild disgust. You and Jungkook exchanged quick glances, immediately putting some distance between yourselves.
Jungkook cleared his throat, his gaze shifting awkwardly around the room. "Yeah, we, uh, got a bit carried away," he admitted, rubbing the back of his neck.
You couldn't help but giggle, feeling a mixture of embarrassment and amusement. "Sorry about that, Tae," you said, shooting Taehyung an apologetic smile.
"I should not acept your apologize since you both didnt save any slice of the pizza with me but fine,” Taehyung teased with a playful mock frown, his eyes twinkling with amusement.
You chuckled and gave Taehyung an apologetic look. "You're right, we owe you some pizza," you admitted, feeling slightly guilty for having devoured the entire pizza without saving any for him.
Jungkook chimed in, trying to make amends. "Yeah, next time we'll make sure to save you a slice, Tae."
Taehyung grinned, his playful demeanor returning. "You better"
The three of you shared a laugh.
As the laughter subsided, Taehyung turned to you both with a mischievous glint in his eyes.
"Well, lovebirds, it's been fun. Don't forget my slice of pizza next time."
You playfully saluted him. "We won't, Tae. Thanks for having me over."
Jungkook walked you to the door, grabbing his jacket on the way. "I'll walk you back to your dorm," he offered.
You smiled at his gesture. "That would be nice."
As you and Jungkook made your way back to your dormitory, the cool night air filled with the sounds of your footsteps and quiet conversation. Despite the earlier interruption and pizza mishap, it had been a memorable evening spent with good friends. You couldn't help but feel grateful for the bond you shared with Jungkook and Taehyung.
When you reached your dormitory, you turned to Jungkook, a hint of reluctance in your voice. "Thanks for walking me back, Jungkook."
He smiled warmly. "Anytime, Y/N. I had a great time tonight."
You nodded in agreement. "Me too. Let's do this again soon."
Jungkook leaned in and gave you a gentle hug. "Definitely."
"I just wish we could order McDonald's to end the night," Jungkook said, and you looked at him in disbelief. Your eyes widened as you tried to read his expression, but he remained serious.
"Jungkook, seriously..."
He burst into laughter. "I'm just kidding!" he reassured you, and you couldn't help but laugh along.
"But you know what? We can actually go tomorrow," you suggested, raising an eyebrow.
He grinned. "I think that's a great idea."
"You must be going crazy, Jungkook," you stated, maintaining your composure. "I'm not drinking three days in a row."
"Oh, come on," he rolled his eyes. "Just a little bit."
"No," you said firmly as you watched Jungkook pour Soju into the glass. "You can drink alone."
"Y/N," he whined, adopting a pitiful and pleading tone, much like a child trying to convince their mother to do something.
"Jungkook," you raised your eyebrows and gave him a stern look.
"Just one?" he pouted. "Please?"
"Okay, fine. Just one glass."
But Jungkook knew you would end up having more than one, and that's exactly what happened. The plan to go to McDonald's turned into a trip to a bar, which eventually led to karaoke, where the two of you shared a microphone and sang loudly and completely off-key. The hardest part was getting Jungkook to stop singing, as he practically monopolized the microphone.
"Hey, could you get your boyfriend out of there?" a man joked, and you looked at Jungkook, laughing and singing in a language that only he seemed to understand, but you thought it might be Spanish or something similar.
You managed to get Jungkook out of there at the end of the song and convinced him to sit with you. He sipped on water while you hailed an Uber for your ride home.
"There's a McDonald's two streets from here, do you want to stop by?" he suggested, taking another sip of water.
"I don't know," you shrugged, not particularly craving it, but the night had been fun.
"Come on, please. Isn't that why we left home in the first place?" he teased.
You nodded in agreement, and after settling the bill, you both walked towards the McDonald's. Jungkook looked at you as you walked beside him and smiled, extending his hand to you. You hesitated for a moment but then took his hand, intertwining your fingers and walking together. You strolled slowly, taking in the city view, not saying a word. That's when an older lady approached you, holding several roses in her hand.
"Would you like to buy a flower for your girlfriend?" she asked, and you couldn't help but notice that it was the second time tonight that people had assumed you were a couple. "Please, it's already dark and cold, and I need to sell these last six flowers." The woman looked at Jungkook with a pleading look. Jungkook turned to you, smiling, and held out his hand.
"Give me all of them."
The lady beamed with gratitude as she handed you a bouquet of roses, her eyes sparkling with warmth. "Thank you, young couple. These roses will bring you happiness and love."
You and Jungkook accepted the flowers with a chuckle, the term "young couple" amusing you both. As you continued walking towards McDonald's, you couldn't help but smile, holding the roses in one hand and Jungkook's hand in the other.
As you arrived at McDonald's, you both noticed that only the drive-thru was open, and you exchanged frustrated glances.
"Damn," Jungkook muttered, letting out a sigh. "I wish we had a car so we wouldn't have to deal with this." He made a face of annoyance.
"Are you planning to get one?" you asked curiously, realizing that up until that moment, you didn't even know if Jungkook had a driver's license.
"Yeah. I've been saving money, and with the internship I'm starting in May for the summer, I think I can buy one by the end of the year," he replied, shrugging. He turned to face you. "I'm sorry about this."
"You don't have to apologize for that," you reassured him with a smile, trying to ease his frustration. "It's okay."
"I promise the first thing I'll do when I get a car is take you to the drive-thru," he said with a serious tone, and you chuckled, finding his expression of disappointment endearing.
"I promise the first thing I'll do when I get my driver's license is take you to McDonald's too," you joked, trying to lighten the mood.
"Wait, you can't drive?" Jungkook raised an eyebrow in surprise.
You chuckled at Jungkook's raised eyebrow.
"Nope, never learned to drive. I've always relied on public transportation or walked everywhere."
Jungkook's surprise turned into a mischievous grin.
"Well, that just means I'll have to teach you once I get my car."
You laughed.
"Are you sure you want to trust me behind the wheel?"
Jungkook leaned in closer, his smile playful.
"I trust you with a lot of things, Y/N.”
You couldn't help but blush at his words, his closeness, and the way he looked at you.
The next morning happened to be a lazy Sunday, and you hadn't set any specific plans for when you'd wake up. Chae-Yeong, quite unu-+sually, was still in the dorm room, peacefully asleep. You grumbled a protest when you felt someone poking you, attempting to rouse you from your slumber.
"Don't wake me up, Unnie," you groaned.
"It's Jungkook," you heard Jungkook's gentle voice speak, causing you to bolt upright in bed, a mix of surprise and confusion washing over you.
"Whoa, Jungkook, what brings you here?" you asked, sitting up and placing a hand over your racing heart, taking a deep breath to steady yourself.
"Sorry if I startled you," he said in a hushed tone, taking a seat on the edge of your bed. You noticed that Chae-Yeong had already woken up. "She let me in," he explained, as if reading your thoughts.
Your concern deepened. "What's going on?"
"I wanted to invite you for a drive," he said, producing a set of car keys from his pocket. "Jimin lent me his car," he added, a satisfied grin spreading across his face, which was contagious, making you smile too.
"Of course, I'd love to," you replied, jumping out of bed and reaching for your phone, which was a habit of yours. "Jungkook, you woke me up at eight in the morning on a Sunday? Seriously?" you rolled your eyes upon seeing the time on your phone. You would have preferred to catch some more sleep.
After the initial shock of being awakened so early on a Sunday, you quickly realized that the unexpected visit from Jungkook presented an exciting opportunity. You exchanged a look with Chae-Yeong, who seemed equally intrigued by the idea.
"Jungkook, could you please bring my friend back in one piece?" Chae-Yeong says, casually tying her hair into a bun while reaching for her phone.
"I can't make any promises," he teases, giving a nonchalant shrug, and you playfully give him a pat on the back.
"Since you've managed to wake me up at this ungodly hour on a Sunday, let's make it worth our while," you declare, leaving your phone on the bed and heading towards your wardrobe. "I'll take a quick shower and be right back."
"Spoiler alert: it won't be quick," Chae-Yeong quips with a casual smirk.
"Yeah, I'm aware. She takes her sweet time," Jungkook chimes in with a grin, and you shoot him a mock glare.
"Enough of the teasing, you two," you say, as you grab a pair of jeans and a long-sleeved shirt from your closet. "No trash-talking while I'm in the shower, deal?" You gather your towel and toiletry bag with your essentials before heading to the bathroom.
After what felt like a much-needed relaxation, you turned off the shower and wrapped yourself in a fluffy towel. You change your clothes and joined Chae-Yeong and Jungkook in the dorm room. The two were engaged in a lively conversation.
"Finally, the sleeping beauty emerges!" Chae-Yeong exclaimed, offering you a teasing grin.
You playfully rolled your eyes. "Well, I can't let you guys have all the fun without me, can I?"
Jungkook flashed a charming smile. "Of course not.”
The three of you shared laughter together.
"Alright, Jungkook. I'm all yours. What are we going to do now?"
"We grab breakfast, and then I thought we could venture to a more remote spot for a driving lesson," Jungkook suggests with a grin.
Chae-Yeong lets out a mischievous chuckle, and you turn your gaze towards her.
"What's your age again?" you quip, playfully rolling your eyes.
"All this talk about heading to a remote place..." She flashes a teasing smile and glances between you both. "Just remember that Jimin's car is on the line..."
You let out an exasperated sigh and take Jungkook by the wrist, urging him to step out of your dorm room.
"Have a wonderful Sunday, Chae-Yeong," you say, closing your dorm room door.
As soon as you step into the hallway, Jungkook lets out a quiet laugh and shakes his head.
"What?" you ask, noticing just how handsome he looks on this morning, dressed in loose white clothes and a cap perched on his head.
"Nothing" he shrugs. "Shall we get going?"
You nod in agreement, and together, you head towards Jimin's car. As you approach the vehicle, Jungkook takes longer strides, moving ahead of you to open the passenger door with a courteous smile. You arch an eyebrow, chuckling, and express your gratitude. He makes his way around to the driver's seat, and you can't help but be captivated by his relaxed posture as he sits behind the wheel—both hands on the steering wheel, relaxed thighs, and a focused expression. Jungkook starts the car, and you turn on the radio.
With the car in motion and the music playing softly in the background, you settle comfortably into your seat, stealing occasional glances at Jungkook as he navigates the city streets with ease. The sun's gentle warmth filters through the windows, casting a pleasant glow on everything it touches.
"I thought this route would be perfect for your first driving lesson," Jungkook says, casting you a reassuring smile. "It's quiet, scenic, and there won't be much traffic to worry about."
You nod appreciatively, grateful for his thoughtful choice.
After a drive through scenic routes, you and Jungkook eventually decide it's time to satisfy your growing appetites. Spotting a cozy roadside café with a rustic charm, you decide to make a pit stop for breakfast.
As you settle into your seats, a friendly waitress approaches, handing you menus with a bright smile.
"So, Jimin lent you the car without any issues?" you ask, perusing the menu and trying to decide what to order.
"He trusts me," Jungkook says confidently, and you smile.
"And should he?" you raise an eyebrow.
"I don't know, you tell me."
Jungkook gazes at you for a few seconds, running his tongue over his lips, drawing your attention to his mouth. You sigh, briefly focusing on the mole beneath his lower lip before returning your gaze to his eyes.
"I'm very trustworthy," he finally replies. "Especially after years of friendship."
"When did you guys meet?" you ask, glancing to the side to get the waitress's attention for your order.
"In the second-to-last year of high school. He was pretty much my only friend," Jungkook chuckles, a hint of embarrassment in his expression.
"I doubt that," you stare at him for a few seconds. It couldn't be that Jungkook had no friends in high school; he must have been, at the very least, the popular guy.
"It's true," he laughs. "I was always the introverted and weird type in school." He sighs, and the waitress arrives, jotting down your orders.
"And everything changed in college?"
"Yeah, sort of," Jungkook lowers his head slightly, indicating that this is a sensitive topic for him.
"I remember Yuna talking about you as if you were the most popular guy in school," you recall the brief relationship Jungkook had with your friend, and a twinge of jealousy stirs in your chest.
"She must have been crazy," he says simply and then looks at you, regretting his words. "I mean..."
You laugh, cutting him off. "It's okay, I love her, but I think she had a somewhat skewed view of things."
"Somewhat?" he widens his eyes. "For her to talk about me like that, things in her little head must have been really different."
You both smile and gaze at each other in silence for several seconds.
"I wasn't very cool in high school either," you admit. "I mean, I wasn't anything special; everyone seemed to have something except me." You sigh, remembering how out of place you felt in school.
"And there's something I can't imagine," Jungkook says.
"Well, then we should be thankful that we've both worked hard to become better versions of ourselves, shouldn't we?" you smile.
"Hmm, looking at it that way, I guess we should."
As your orders are placed and the tantalizing aroma of Korean breakfast dishes fills the air, you continue your conversation.
"So, have you watched the movie Titanic?" Jungkook asks, taking a sip of his tea while his eyes sparkle with curiosity.
You raise an eyebrow, intrigued by his choice of conversation. "Titanic? Yes, I've seen it. Is one of my favorite movies. Why do you ask?"
Jungkook leans back in his chair, a thoughtful expression on his face. "Well, it's one of those classic films, you know? Everyone's seen it at least once. I was just wondering what you thought about it."
After enjoying your breakfast, you and Jungkook finish your meal. As you both settle your bill and prepare to leave the restaurant, the anticipation for your driving lessons looms in the air. You can't help but feel a mixture of excitement and nerves about getting behind the wheel with Jungkook as your instructor.
The car keys jingle in Jungkook's hand as he unlocks the vehicle. As you approach the car, Jungkook once again opens the passenger door for you, flashing a warm smile that puts you at ease. You slide into the seat, ready to embark on this driving lessons.
He drives a bit farther until you reach a quieter stretch of road. You can't help but feel a wave of anxiety wash over you; this is the first time you've ever taken the wheel of a car. As you switch places with Jungkook, he gazes at you.
"Are you ready?" he inquires, and you've already adjusted your seatbelt and meticulously checked the car's mirrors. "Alright, then, this pedal here is the clutch, it's what allows the engine to engage, the brake, which you're familiar with," he gestures to each pedal, "and the accelerator."
You nod attentively, signaling that you've comprehended his explanations so far.
"Now, for the gear shift, watch closely," he requests, and you extend your hand toward him. He places it atop the gear shift of the car. "First," he guides your hand with his and moves it, "Second," Jungkook moves it again, "Third, and reverse. In the middle is neutral, where we'll start from," he explains before removing his hand from yours.
You follow his instructions, getting a feel for the gear shift's positions. Though it's all new to you, Jungkook's patient guidance helps ease your nerves. You take a deep breath and mentally prepare for the challenge of learning to drive.
Jungkook's patient and steady guidance continues as you start your driving lessons. He explains the importance of checking mirrors, blind spots, and using turn signals. As you prepare to move the car, he emphasizes the significance of the clutch, brake, and accelerator pedals.
"Remember," he says reassuringly, "start by slowly releasing the clutch while gently applying the gas. It's all about balance."
With his instructions in mind, you ease your foot off the clutch and press the gas pedal gently. As you navigate the quiet road under Jungkook's watchful eye, he encourages you to practice turns, lane changes, and braking. Each maneuver feels like a small victory.
Jungkook provides feedback and guidance along the way, helping you refine your driving skills. After some time, you pull over to the side of the road, and Jungkook turns off the engine. You both take a moment to reflect on the progress you've made during your first driving lesson.
"You did great, Y/N," Jungkook compliments, a proud smile on his face.
You return the smile, feeling a sense of accomplishment. "Thanks to your patient teaching, Jungkook. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor."
As you sit in the parked car, a brief moment of silence hangs in the air between you and Jungkook. The engine is off, and the only sound is the soft hum of the surroundings. You take a moment to observe him, his features illuminated by the gentle sunlight filtering through the car windows.
You turned your body towards Jungkook, leaning your head on the back of the car and contemplating his smile for a few seconds. He also looked at you, observing the sun shining on your skin, so soft. Silence becomes present and your gaze lands on Jungkook's mouth, so beautiful and kissable, glossy and pink.
You sigh involuntarily and he leans towards you, holding your face and making you also project your body forward, reaching his lips. The kiss begins urgently, tongues passing over each other, low sighs and his hand on your waist.
You adjust yourself in the seat, but your knee hits the steering wheel of the car. Damn it.
“Careful,” Jungkook whispers and looks at you. “Let’s go to the backseat,” you nod, moving between the front seats and the back.
Jungkook takes his time, pushing the front seats further forward and increasing the space in the back seats. He adjusts himself on the bench and you look at him, laughing mischievously.
"Sit on my lap, come here..." Jungkook says, placing his hand on your waist, pulling you onto his lap.
You put one leg on either side of his hips and place one hand on his chest and the other on Jungkook's shoulder. He spreads both hands on your ass, squeezing it over your pants, making you roll on top of him.
Jungkook lets out a long sigh, leaving his lips open and you kiss his mouth, sliding your tongue slowly across his. You turn your face, improving the angle to deepen the kiss even more, feeling Jungkook growing beneath his pants.
“We need to remember that it’s Jimin’s car, uh?” He said between the kiss. "We can't make a mess on his bench," you laugh, forcing your hips harder against his, needing the friction even more.
You let out a soft moan and, without warning, you slide your palm over Jungkook's pants, over his dick. He sighs, tilting his head back.
You grab the waistband of Jungkook's pants and his underwear, start pulling them down, until it reaches his knees. His dick pops out, very hard, with the veins exposed.
You move your hips away a little, giving you space to hold Jungkook's cock with both hands, making spiral movements, moving your hand up and down his dick, letting him moan loudly.
“Y/N…” he whispers, forcing his hips into your hand.
You give a satisfied smile and take your other hand to his balls, squeezing just enough, making Jungkook moan louder.
“Fuck,” he sighs, as you feel Jungkook’s length throbbing around your fingers.
You run your thumb up and down the head of his cock, feeling the same pre-cum stickiness. You wet your lips with your tongue and look to Jungkook, who had his head tilted back, eyes closed and mouth open, groaning. One of Jungkook's free hands goes up to your mouth, placing two of his fingers in your mouth.
You wrap your lips around Jungkook's long fingers and slowly suck the tip and start moving your head, looking at him, even though, most of the time, he has his eyes closed.
He pulls his fingers away and looks at you, holding your wrist and moving your hand.
"I need you, I need your pussy," he says, whimpering, but his tone is low.
You sigh when you hear what he says and unzip your pants, getting off his lap to take off your pants and your panties together, before returning to Jungkook's lap.
When you position yourself on him again, Jungkook already holds the base of his cock and, with his other hand on your hip, leaves him the necessary distance to fit his dick into you.
Jungkook slides his dick along the entire length of your pussy, making sure to rub the tip of his dick against your clit very slowly until it reaches your entrance.
With his cock in place, he also takes his other hand to your hip, forcing you to go down.
You rest both hands on his shoulders and slowly lower your hips, feeling him stretching you inside, making you moan softly. He also moans, biting his lower lip, feeling you squeeze him with your pussy.
As soon as you move your hips, feeling him deep inside you, you move back and forth, getting used to the feeling of having him inside.
Jungkook's forehead presses against yours and you look at him, bending your knees more to create leverage and have the momentum to move up and down on his dick. You roll and moan as you move up and down, with short, quick thrusts.
Jungkook's groan echoes in the closed car and he once again closes his eyes tightly.
You slide your fingers to the back of his neck, pressing your torso against his and slamming your ass quickly against Jungkook's thighs. With his big, firm hands, Jungkook holds both sides of your ass, making you go down at once and stay still while his dick hits you deep.
“Fuck, Jungkook…” you moan softly, feeling him reach your core. Your pussy is clenching around his cock and your breathing is labored and short.
"Y/N..." He says, still using strength to keep you still. "Promise you won't let any guy on your Tinder fuck you like that?" his eyes shine and you give a pained smile.
“Oh, Jungkook, I-I…” you move your hips to the sides. “I promise” you whisper and he lets you go.
You throw your hair back and also lean your body, resting your hands on the front seat. This creates a greater space between your body and Jungkook's, and he faces you, lifting your shirt at once, leaving your breasts exposed. Both of his hands reach your tits and you roll around, making a figure eight with your hips.
His movements are slow and deep and he helps you, thrusting his hips against yours.
Jungkook reaches down with one hand and, with two of his fingers, starts rubbing your clit. You tilt your head back, feeling your leg tremble and even more pleasure. As you fuck yourself on his dick, your tits jiggle, giving Jungkook a prime view.
His mouth reaches your chest, sucking and running his tongue over your nipple, while he looks at you and you smile, moaning non-stop, with his other hand stimulating you.
Jungkook pulls your nipple between his teeth, making you feel pain, but you end up moaning in approval. You feel him contract beneath you, and he pulls you, making you stick to him again. His arms wrap around you, his hips thrusting into you fervently as you ride, and you're also with both arms around his neck.
Jungkook squeezes you, slides his hand over your skin and begins to throb non-stop inside you.
You feel him cumming and continue riding, more intensely, feeling your own orgasm too close to slow down any pace. You moan his name as you reach your pleasure and audible noises of his cum mixed with your juice echo through the car. The smell of sex is evident and you know you're dripping with Jungkook's cum.
The movements gradually stop and you relax your body on top of his, placing your forehead against his again.
You look at each other and exchange an intense kiss, leaving your lips pressed together for several seconds and your hands caressing his face, until your breathing normalizes.
It takes you a while to get up, seeing the mess you both made and trying to be careful enough to make sure nothing had spilled on Jimin's car seat. Lucky for you, you have disposable cloths in your bag, which are used to clean you and Jungkook and a drop of cum that eventually splashed onto the bench.
"If Jimin finds out what happened here, he'll never lend us the car again." Jungkook says, running the cloth through the fabric of the seat.
"Then he better never find out." you grumble.
Jungkook drive back to campus, smiling at you, when you sing a song on the radio. He doesn't know the words but he pretends, just to make you laugh. He leans one hand at the wheel and the other he aprocches your thigh and rest the hand there, with his palm up. You intertwine your fingers with his as the song ends, and a comfortable silence fills the car. You lean your head against the seat, gazing out of the window at the passing scenery.
Incredibly, the journey back to campus seems to fly by, and you wish time would slow down because, in that moment, everything feels perfect and exactly as it should be.
Jungkook releases your hand as you enter the street leading to his house. You settle back into your seat, and when he parks, you step out of the car, waiting for him to walk to the door with you. Once inside, Hobi and Jin are lounging on the couch, and they both look up, greeting you with warm smiles.
"Y/N, hi!" Hoseok says cheerfully.
"Hey, Hobi," you smile, waving to Jin. "Jin."
"Hi, Y/N. I haven't forgotten that you promised to visit and spend time with us," Jin teases, raising an eyebrow, and you grin.
"I haven't forgotten either."
"Do you have anything to request from her, Hobi? Y/N has been making all sorts of promises to the house residents," Jungkook jokes, taking off his coat. You roll your eyes playfully at his teasing.
"I don't know, Y/N, what do you have to offer?" Hoseok chuckles.
"Well, not much," you make a face, and they all burst into laughter. Jimin appears at the doorway between the living room and the kitchen.
"Hey, Jimin, thanks for lending me the car," you smile, and Jungkook tosses him the keys, which he skillfully catches mid-air.
"No problem," he smiles back, placing the car keys on a side table. "I just hope to find my car intact."
You and Jungkook exchange a quick glance.
"I think everything's in order," you shrug.
"Well, we were just about to start playing, do you guys want to join?" Hobi asks, fiddling with the TV remote.
"Overwatch?" Jungkook asks, his eyes lighting up, and you make a playful face, remembering seeing him play that day and not finding it particularly engaging.
"Yeah," Jin responds enthusiastically, while Jimin returns from the kitchen with a bowl of snacks.
"Y/N knows how to play; I taught her," Jungkook says, and you shoot him a mock disapproving look, to which he chuckles.
"Ugh," you say, taking a seat in the armchair and letting Jungkook and Jimin settle on the sofa in front of the TV. "But wasn't it originally a computer game?"
"They have it for Xbox too," Jimin explains, getting comfortable.
"Are you going to play?" Jin asks, reaching for a potato chip on the table.
"Are you crazy? We'd lose for sure," Jungkook quickly teases, and you furrow your brows.
"Hey."
"Sorry, babe, but I don't feel like losing. You've never played; you've only seen me play," Jungkook says, his eyes fixed on the screen, and you can't help but smile at his competitive spirit.
You found yourself momentarily breathless hearing the way Jungkook addressed you. It wasn't the first time he'd called you "babe," but it was the first time he'd done it in front of his friends. You weren't sure how to react, but it felt so natural that you didn't think he had done it intentionally.
"Sorry, babe," Hoseok mimicked Jungkook's tone, glancing at Jin, who burst into loud laughter, followed by Jimin.
Jungkook sighed, looking annoyed as he gazed at his friends, his brow furrowed.
"Babe, you've only seen me play. Oh, babe," Jin teased, affecting a melodramatic voice, and Jungkook let go of the Xbox controller in his lap.
"How old are you guys again?" he asked, rolling his eyes, and you let out a nervous, soft laugh, feeling your cheeks flush slightly.
"I don't know, babe," Jin replied, glancing at Hobi. "How old are you, babe?"
"I don't know, Honey Bunny," Hobi responded in kind, with an affected, higher-pitched tone, as if mimicking your voice.
"Ew, I'd never talk like that," you chimed in for the first time after the teasing.
The guys erupted in laughter.
"That's why you guys don't have girlfriends," Jimin quipped, rubbing his eyes and sporting flushed cheeks from laughing.
"We don't date," Jungkook retorted, sulking.
The teasing from the guys seemed relentless as they continued to get under Jungkook's skin.
Hoseok leaned back on the couch, grinning mischievously. "So, babe, when's the wedding?"
Jimin chimed in, his laughter still lingering. "Yeah, and have you guys picked out baby names yet, babe?"
Jin pretended to swoon dramatically. "Oh, how romantic, babe. Tell us about your love story."
You couldn't help but join in on the fun. "Well, you see, it all started when he called me 'babe' in front of his friends..."
The guys burst into laughter again, with Jungkook growing increasingly frustrated by the second. He crossed his arms, giving them all an exasperated look.
"You guys are impossible," he grumbled, but there was a small, amused smile playing at the corners of his lips.
Hoseok clapped him on the back. "Come on, Jungkook, we're just having some fun. You know we love you both."
Jin nodded in agreement. "Yeah, you guys are cute together. 'Babe' suits you well."
The afternoon passed by in a blur, and you had a blast with the guys, even though you attempted to join in the gaming session for a mere 2 minutes before surrendering due to your lack of patience and gaming prowess.
As the hours flew by, they eventually decided to take a break when Taehyung arrived, accompanied by a girl with brown hair and the most stunning blue eyes you had ever seen, named Bella. This unexpected arrival shifted the teasing focus from you and Jungkook to Taehyung and the intriguing newcomer, Bella.
Bella's presence in the midst of the group sparked curiosity among the boys, and the teasing quickly turned its attention towards Taehyung.
"So, Taehyung, you finally brought a girl home, huh?" Hobi chimed in with a playful grin.
Tae scratched his head, a little sheepish. "Yeah, meet Bella. She's a friend from class."
Jimin raised an eyebrow and gave a sly smile. "Just a friend, huh? She must be really special if you're introducing her to us."
Bella chuckled, clearly amused by the banter. "Nice to meet you all. Taehyung has told me so much about his friends."
Jin leaned in closer, putting on his best charming smile. "Well, you know, we're quite the charismatic bunch. Taehyung didn't tell you that, did he?" Everyone laughed, and the atmosphere became more relaxed as Bella seamlessly fit into their group dynamic.
As the banter settled down a bit, you noticed Jungkook's gaze drifting back to you. He leaned closer, his voice a low whisper meant only for you. "I think they've had enough fun teasing us today, don't you?"
You smirked, appreciating his sentiment. "Yeah, I guess it's about time they found some new targets."
Jimin, who had keen ears despite being engaged in conversation with Bella, overheard your exchange and couldn't resist chiming in. "Oh, come on, you two! You don't get off that easily. The teasing isn't over just yet." You rolled your eyes, laughing along with the group.
Eventually, the chatter in the living room grew louder as the guys shared more stories and jokes. Jungkook leaned closer to you again, his lips barely brushing your ear as he spoke. "Want to get out of here for a bit?"
You nodded, your heart racing with anticipation. "Sure, let's go."
You both excused yourselves from the group, earning a few knowing looks and teasing comments, which you both ignored. As you climbed the stairs to Jungkook's room, the laughter and voices from downstairs gradually faded away.
Once inside his room, Jungkook closed the door behind him, and the two of you shared a private moment in the soft glow of the room's warm lighting. The atmosphere was charged with an unspoken tension as you looked at each other, neither of you sure who would make the first move.
Jungkook broke the silence with a smile, his voice soft and sincere. "Today has been incredible, Y/N. I'm glad you agreed to spend it with me."
You returned his smile, feeling your cheeks warm. "I'm glad too, Jungkook. It's been an amazing day."
As the two of you lay on Jungkook's bed, cuddled up under a cozy blanket, you couldn't help but relish in the comfort and intimacy of the moment. His room was filled with a soothing ambiance, and the soft glow from a string of fairy lights cast a warm, gentle illumination across the space.
Jungkook ran his fingers gently through your hair as you snuggled closer to him. His touch was tender, and the rhythmic rise and fall of his chest against yours matched the peaceful stillness of the room.
"You know," he began, his voice soft and thoughtful, "I've noticed something about you."
Curious, you looked up at him. "Oh? What's that?"
Jungkook's fingers moved to trace the delicate necklace adorning your neck, the one he had given you on his mom's birthday, a small heart-shaped pendant. It held sentimental value, and you wore it almost every day since.
"You never take off that necklace I gave you," he observed, his eyes holding a gentle affection as he looked at the piece of jewelry.
A faint smile tugged at your lips as you brought your hand up to touch the pendant. "I love it, Jungkook. It reminds me of a special day and a special person."
His gaze met yours, and he brushed his thumb over your cheek. "I'm glad you like it, Y/N. You mean a lot to me, too."
He leaned down and pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, his lips warm against your skin. "You make everything better, Y/N."
You close your eyes as his lips meet yours. The kiss is slow and gentle, just as the moment calls for.

realistic nanami's d analysis
warnings! ; nsfw (kinda) , headcanons (obviously) ; educational 🤓☝️
Tumblr media
as a nanamin simp i've been reading and hearing about nanami's 9 inches manhood all over the internet and, honestly?, that doesn't sound accurate to me
something that happens to people who like nanami a lot is that they portrait him like a white man and, consciously or unconsciously, i feel that the 9 inch thing has been motivated by that current of thoughts
that's why i've decided to make a long research about the male genitalia comparing the average sizes all over the world, asia and finally, japan
of course, i did not give him a micro penis, but please don't expect the king cobra between this man's legs
i stress again the fact that this is my opinion and if you don't agree... well, there's not much i can do about it :)
Tumblr media
context ;
for us humans, diversity comes in different styles of things, perhaps no topic elicits as much curiosity, speculation, and even anxiety as the dimensions of the male reproductive organ: the penis. from ancient myths to contemporary media portrayals, societal fascination with penile size permeates cultural narratives worldwide. however, amidst the myriad myths and misconceptions lies a scientific inquiry into the fascinating variations of penile size across different populations and ethnicities.
so, repeat after me: not every hot man has a 9 inches long d– / jk
in a comprehensive analysis conducted in 2020, researchers examined studies on penis size and determined that the typical length of an erect penis ranges from approximately 12.9 cm( 5.1 inches) to 13.9 cm (5.5 inches.) They suggested that the actual average tends to lean towards the lower end of this spectrum. (King, 2020)¹.
Another study indicated that the length for a flaccid penis was 9.16 cm (3.61 inches). (Veale et al., 2015)².
and that is what i’m basing my analysis (headcanons) on.
let's take a look on this chart (of dubious origin):
Tumblr media
in this one we can see and compare the different sizes of the male reproductive system in different countries. if we look at it, japan has an average of 13.56 cm (5.3 inches).
investigating more in detail the male population, i managed to find that the average penis size in japan is about: 13.56 centimeters (5.33 inches), with a diameter of 3.53 cm (1.39 inches) at the head and 3.19 cm (1.25 inches) at the shaft when it's erect. (日本人の平均ペニスサイズが明らかに! | TENGA FITTING(テンガフィッティング), n.d.)³
knowing all of this, let's get into the heart of the matter that concerns us today.
his size ;
i'm using using this essay for a reference (since my humble self does not own a peewee) (男性器の大きさについて|大東製薬工業株式会社, n.d.)⁴.
to keep it simple:
erected :
length; 13.73 cm (5.4 inches) ~ 15.37 cm (6 inches)
girth; 11.73 cm (4.6 inches) ~ 12.73 cm (5 inches)
flaccid :
length; 9.73 cm (3.8 inches)
girth; 9.37 cm (3.6 inches)
the shape ;
i imagine it with a base a bit wider than the head (it gives fat dick ohohoho) and slightly curved up, the foreskin is still there and the skin is more pigmented there (#967a68). i can imagine a notorious vein coming from the base to the tip from below. his glans is paler than the shaft (#aa8483) and when it gets stimulated it turns into a #c96c60 shade.
nuts! ;
how do i say this?
they look heavy, somehow. also notoriously asymmetrical, the left one hangs lower.
is the carpet matching the curtains? ;
no, and this is my personal headcanon since I like the idea of kento bleaching his hair since high school, from dark brown to his blonde tone he all see now. but if you don't think the same, it's alright, it doesn't affect anything.
he's hairy, everywhere, yes i'm also talking about his butthole!!
but he like to keep the hair trimmed and nice, not a crazy jungle of hair, since he also like to keep his face clean. it is a routine procedure that he does once every one or two months, always using an electric shaver.
so if you plan to give him head (or eat his ass, idk and idc), please expect to feel his pubic hair tickling your nose
+ his buns ;
his glorious glutes are made of 90% pure muscle, it also look squared shaped.
amazing, wow.

anyway, you don't have to take everything i wrote literally or personally, nanami is a fictional character and it doesn't really matter what his penis should or could look like. if you imagine him differently, great, i do too lol, my brain is never going to imagine him with some exact measurements or shape
hope you enjoyed my little essay on nanaken's penis :) it's the first time in my life that i talk so much about cocks lol

Can i request a Rhea x fem imagine, where the R’s personality is like original alexa bliss NXT debut, like girly/fairy all that. She’s also part of the bloodline and has a secret relationship with Rhea, cause the judgement day and bloodline are in a feud. Then hints about their relationship drops to both groups, then after a huge win Rhea congratulates her exposing their relationship. It causes both groups to majorly buttheads about it, making like slick remarks. It just ends in fluff, and has angst and all that. Lol thank you so much!💛💛
blood is thicker than water
a/n: pls i hope i did this idea justice
tags: fem!reader, poc!reader, wlw, little cousin!reader w/ the uso's/roman reigns, brief mention of the judgement day, SFW
Tumblr media
There was something so fun about sneaking around behind your cousins' backs. None of them needed to know about your relationship with Rhea because it was truly none of their business, but they also wanted nothing more than to keep you away from them. The Judgement Day was the same way with Rhea, but she was more assertive when it came to standing up for herself in comparison to you.
You and Rhea apparently weren't as sneaky as you originally thought though, as someone had begun to drop hints to not only your cousins and Paul and to The Judgement Day as well. You didn't even know until your older cousins sat with you looking incredibly pissed.
"You better be honest with us, Y/N." Jey said. Jimmy was pacing around the room, and Paul was watching you very closely to see what your answer would be. But you just rolled your eyes and pretended like nothing happened. "You guys just really have zero faith in me, don't you?" You asked them; that alone unleashed a whole argument. Of course you loved your family, but they couldn't just let you be yourself and it was incredibly frustrating.
The Judgement Day had been pestering Rhea about it just as much. "So now you're sneaking around with The Bloodline?" Damian would ask. Finn would chime in and provide his two sense, Dominik being too confused and upset to even say anything. But Rhea just shook her head and ignored them as well. "If you're gonna believe some sneak who has no clue what they're talking about then you're no better than them." She would say.
After having those conversations though, you and Rhea had your usual secret meet-up in a tech closet backstage. You sat in her lap, Rhea's fingers drawing gentle patterns on your arms as you talked about the conversations each group was having. "I don't get it's even an issue." You mumbled to her, and Rhea sighed in frustration along with you.
"It doesn't," she assured you. "They're all too controlling for their own good." Rhea titled your face up to look at you sadly. "This doesn't change anything for me though, okay?" She assured you. "I'm not going anywhere."
You nodded at her words, your foreheads leaning together as you sat in comfortable silence. After some time though, Rhea giggled at you and you stared at her in confusion. "I'm glad our pain is funny." You mumbled, making her laugh again.
Rhea lifted your face and held your cheeks as she smirked. "I have an idea." She told you.
--- ---
Originally you thought Rhea was insane; was she truly going to just...expose your relationship? After The Bloodline and The Judgement Day were already butting heads? The thought made you just slightly nauseous but you had to trust her. Rhea already had a plan, and you just needed to sit back and let it happen.
You had a huge match that night against Bayley, and it was going to determine whether you were going to get the championship match you'd been dying for. Not only were you itching for that opportunity but your cousins had been down your throat about it.
Nothing about that match was easy; not only were you fighting Bayley, but Io and Dakota were trying to make everything that much difficult. They kept interfering, distracting you, doing anything they could to give Bayley the upper hand. It didn't work though, and you came out on top in arguably one of the biggest matches of your career so far. Not only that, but you did it without your cousin. You proved that you don't need them, and you hoped they could finally realize that.
As you stood in the ring celebrating your big win, Rhea's music hit and she was slowly making her way down the ramp. With both of you still in character, she stared at you with the same shit-eating grin she always had on her face and you watched at her with the intense stare you'd mastered from watching your cousins. Rhea took her time getting up into the ring and she stood across from you. She slowly inched closer and you tried to hide the smirk tugging at the corner of your lips but it was nearly impossible.
Before you knew it, her hands were on your hips and she was pulling you into a passionate kiss. The audience went wild, and you know both your cousins and Rhea's partners were backstage going absolutely mad. But you didn't care; all you needed in this moment was Rhea, and for the first time in a long time things felt...okay. All because you didn't need to hide anymore.
--- ---
"Y/N, what the hell do you think this is? A game?" Jimmy asked you. As soon as you got backstage with Rhea, your cousins led you into your locker room while The Judgement Day began pestering Rhea. You sat on the couch as your cousins and Paul stood in front of you; your family watched you in anger, while the Wise Man was in disbelief.
You crossed your arms before answering Jimmy. "I never said this was a game." You said. "I don't get why this is such a big deal! We wouldn't have this issue if you guys would just let us do what we wanted to do!"
Paul moved to sit across from you. He was someone who always tried to butter you up and appeal to your senses, but he wasn't going to win this. "It's not that we don't want you to." He said softly. "Your cousins want you to be happy. The Tribal Chief wants you to be happy." You rolled her eyes and looked away from Paul. "But being happy is not always what's best for your tribe."
Paul's words made your blood boil. "Well sometimes the tribe doesn't always need to come first." You said, standing up and grabbing your bag. "We'll talk about this later. But just so you guys know, I'm not giving up on Rhea just because you guys can't get along with The Judgement Day." Before anyone else could say anything, you left the room and walked to the parking lot where Rhea was waiting for you at her rental.
She looked up from where she leaned against the side of the car, and she immediately wrapped her arms around you in a hug. "The boys finished your tongue lashing?" Rhea teased softly.
You chuckled against her neck and breathed in her scent. "More like I cut it short." You mumbled, pulling back to give her a kiss. "I take it your boys weren't thrilled either?"
Rhea hummed and gave you another kiss. "They'll survive." She chuckled. "I'm done talking about them though. Tonight's about us." She opened the car door for you, and for the first time since being with Rhea you felt like things were normal...even if your respective factions were anything but thrilled.

1945
Things were never easy for you, you've lived through a literal world war. You lost your boyfriend and then your brother. You had given up at this point. Without your family... what did you really have? Your parents? Dead. Brother? Dead. Your love? Also dead. The only person you had left was Peggy, and she was just as distraught by Steve's death as you were.
Despite this you kept going. You were determined to ensure your brother didn't sacrifice himself for nothing. You had made it your mission to destroy HYDRA. Every fibre of your body burned with pure rage as you saw what they were doing to your home.
You had mixed feelings about Steve's sacrifice. Because yes, he thwarted their plans, and saved millions of lives, but it cost him his life. And it cost you your brother. This was the guy who would light all the candles in your bedroom every time you had a nightmare. He'd tell you that as long as the candle burns, you were safe. He's the guy who nursed you when you were sick. He taught you never to back down from a fight; he is- was the only constant in your life and you miss him terribly.
You lifted your head as you heard the door to your apartment open. You smiled sadly at Peggy. Her eyes were reddened and puffy. It didn't take you long to deduce that she had been crying again.
"I wanted to stop by... to see how you were." She mumbled, her voice slightly hoarse. You sighed, looking at your feet..
"I'm okay." You say, still looking at your feet.
"I wish I could say the same... I really, really do. I miss him so, so much." She sniffles, her eyes becoming glassy. You took a sharp intake of breath, thinking of him always hurt now. You used to think of your brother and be nothing but happy, but now that he's gone, the happy memories hurt because you know you can never experience anymore.
Thinking for a moment, you glanced at the teary woman in front of you, sighing you turned and walked into your bedroom. Pulling a cardboard box out from underneath your bed, you smiled as you saw the black-and-white picture of you and your brother at the carnival. He had face paint on and you had drawn a silly moustache on yourself. Placing the picture in your pocket, you grabbed what you originally intended to and walked back over to Peggy.
"Here, it was his favourite... it... it still smells like him." You whisper, handing her his favourite jumper. You nodded as she held it to her chest, sniffing it slightly. This seemed to make her cry harder.
"Thank you." She whispered as she slipped the jumper on over her uniform. You smiled as she did so. You knew your brother would have married this woman. She was his future, and you understood why. She was a beautiful human inside and out and you felt extreme pride when you refer to her as your friend.
You two sat and talked for hours until there was a noise that had Peggy reaching for her gun. Your anxiety bubbled as you watched her go check it out. You grabbed a knife from the kitchen and gripped it tightly. There was a loud commotion and shots were being fired, the loud bangs echoing through the walls of the apartment. You could smell the burning of... something, as the air suddenly felt warmer. Something was burning. Your worry increased as you heard Peggy groan in pain. The sudden puff of smoke confirmed your suspicions. Your apartment was now burning. "Y/N! RUN!" Peggy yelled as she came rushing into the front room, only to be tackled by a large burley looking man. He pinned her to the ground, and you glared at him.
"Let her go!" You yelled as you rushed over. Before you could get to him, you screamed as the front door was smashed in wood flew everywhere as it splintered off the door. The door crashed to the floor and your eyes widened as more people filed into the room, they were dressed in a uniform, they were soldiers and you then noticed the marks on their uniforms. Your rage soared as the HYDRA men burst into your home. You gripped the knife tightly before going after them. Even though you had no idea how you were going to win against a small army of HYDRA agents, you were determined to win. You punched, kicked, stabbed your way through the agents, but it was no use. One guy punched you so hard in the face, stars clouded your vision and you felt your eyelids become heavy.
The last thing you heard before you faded into the darkness was Peggy's final scream for you. "Y/N!" she yelled as you hit the floor.
HYDRA had got you now. You were theirs. And nothing could be done about it.
Today
The ringing in your ears intensified as you began running through the halls. There was only one thought in mind. "I have to get out." Your feet moved quickly as you rushed down the hall. You were being chased, but you had one advantage your advisories didn’t. During your time in HYDRA, you had been turned into a super solider just like your big brother was before he died.
You saw the wall and something inside you knew that you were only on the second floor. So you braced yourself and launched yourself out of the window. Glass shattered all around you, slicing your skin. Even more so when you landed. You slid across the ground. A cry leaving your lips as you did. You rolled over before you pulled your body up and broke out into a sprint. All you could think about was not getting caught. It didn’t matter about the fact nothing looked familiar, or that your body was begging you to lie on the floor and give up. You didn’t care about the blood that was seeping into your clothes all you cared about was getting away.
You were so caught up in getting away you didn’t pay attention to your surroundings. You slammed straight into a couple. The man’s hands shot out to steady the girl as they looked angrily at you. Until they saw your condition. The noise of the world hit you at once and you kept turning around, your eyes squinted as you looked all around the place. Tall buildings, loud noises. And they’re way too many people. The man came into focus as he gave you a concerned look.
“Can you tell me your name, doll?” He asked, and you squinted at him. Your heart was pounding in your chest so loud you could barely hear anything else. You swallowed.
“Where am I?”
“New York.” He replied softly.
You shook your head defiantly. “No, no, this isn’t New York. I- no!” You grabbed him by the collar. “Where am I!” you demanded as you shoved him backwards before stepping back from him a few steps. His eyes widened as he looked to your left.
“Watch out!” You heard someone new yell. Suddenly, you were encased in a red glow. It’s spirals moving you. Your body instantly warmed, and you strangely felt comfort from this red embrace. But your comfort didn’t last long as a body knocked into you. You both went tumbling to the floor, causing you to groan as you scraped your already bleeding cuts. Despite the pain, you felt insanely warm. You opened your eyes to see a curious and worried green pair staring back. Your heart jumped into your throat as you gazed at her. She was truly beautiful.
You flushed as you realised that she was practically straddling you. Her cheeks turned red as she stared at you. “Wanda!”
That voice.
The girl you now know as Wanda got up and held her hand out for you. You took it. Her touch was warm, and it left soft tingles on your skin and for a second she didn’t let go of your hand. You blushed softly before your eyes widened. “S-Steve?” You whispered softly. His eyes teared up as he rushed over to you.
“Y/n! How? How is this-” you cut him off by throwing your arms around his shoulders hugging him.
“You died! I- I mourned you.” You cried. His tears wet your shirt as he hugged you tightly.
“Peggy… she said HYDRA attacked and took you and she hasn’t seen you since.” He mumbled. You nodded.
“I… I’m like you now.” You mumbled, and he pulled back, cupping your face with his hands as he surveyed you.
“You’re not my little sister anymore… you’ve grown up.” He smiled, kissing your forehead.
“I was so lost without you. When you didn’t come home… when you went into the ice. I thought you died, Stevie.” You mumble, your voice cracking as you started to cry again. He squeezed you and you gasped in pain, causing Wanda to step forward, worry present on her face.
“Steve, she’s bleeding.” Her voice was like silk, so smooth, and yet she sounded so panicked. You glanced up at your brother through heavy eyelids. The exhaustion was catching up quickly, and you struggled to keep your eyes open.
“I… I think I’m going to close my eyes now.” You muttered as the world started to darken. You remember Steve picking you up before your eyes closed fully.
Steve glanced at Wanda, his eyes widening. He scooped her up and held her to his chest. “Let’s get her back to the tower.” He rushed out as he began running.
~/~/~/~
Steve sighed as he watched Bruce work on his little sister, his worry increasing when Bruce pulled out surgical instruments. “Just need to throw a few sutures here, Cap. Nothing too serious. She's lost a lot of blood, so I'm going to have to replace it. I've already started a drip and she should be okay in a couple of hours.” He muttered, focusing on what he was doing. His focus was momentarily taken off you as he heard the door open. He smiled softly when he saw Wanda walk in. She had been feeling antsy ever since she left. She didn’t know what, but something was urging her to come seek you out. The way her heart fluttered when you and her locked eyes confused yet intrigued her. Her eyes widened when she saw Bruce stitching up her side.
Steve have her an exhausted smile as she took a swat next to him. Wanda frowned as she could feel how anxious he was. “You never mentioned you had a sister.” She commented with a snippy edge. He glanced at her, noticing her small smirk. He sighed, a small smile tugging at his lips.
“When I went into the ice, she was seventeen. She’s at least twenty-three now. She should be at least 80. Which means for 80 years she has been in HYDRA’s clutches for decades and I didn’t figure it out.” He whispered sadly. Wanda reached over to squeeze it.
“You couldn’t have known.” She whispered.
“But I should have. I should have known.” He repeated, seeming distraught. Wanda wanted to take his mind off it so she asked about her. It helped distract Steve enough, so he wasn’t constantly hovering over Bruce. It also helped to quench Wanda’s compulsion to ask about you more and more.
“When we were kids, our parents used to take us to this field and there was this tree that Y/n made it her mission to climb for weeks. She tried and then when she did. She fell off,” he chuckled. “She never wanted to get down. My father usually had to climb up and get her.” He smiled at the memory.
“And then our parents died, and we only had each other. And then Bucky. She lost him too. She lost everyone. I’m glad Peggy was there for her once I went under. I always wondered if Y/n had a crush on her.” He joked, causing Wanda to giggle.
Bruce had finished stitching you up. He pulled the gloves off his hands and stood up. “The sedation will wear off soon and I’ve given her some medication to help with the pain.” Bruce smiled.
Steve nodded, his eyes travelling to the door. Bucky walked in, his eyes widening. “Y/n?” He whispered, his voice strained. He looked at Steve and he nodded.
Bucky hugged Steve tightly, laughing in excitement. “I can’t believe it.” He whispered, pulling back.
“Me either.”
An hour later and you began to stir. The pain in your side was bearable, but you could tell it was numbed. “Steve…” you called out, reaching up to rub your eyes. You looked down and saw that the girl who saved you… Wanda was resting her hand on yours. You looked at your hands and then at her before your eyes shot up to see Steve.
“Y/n… how- how are you?”
You smiled. But then your smile dropped. “B-Bucky?” You gasped. He stood up and grinned, walking up to you.
“Hey doll, happy to see me?”
“Is everyone who is supposed to be dead not dead? Is Peggy?”
“No… no she, she died a few years ago.” Steve said sadly. You frowned.
“I’m sorry. Did you at least get some time with her?”
Steve smiled, nodding. “A little.”
That little piece of information made you smile. Peggy had always wished for more time, that was it, and you were glad that they had gotten time together, even if it was only a small amount. Bucky came around and held your free hand. He brought it up to his lips he kissed your hand, and then smiled brightly up at you. "Things haven't been the same without you. I've missed you every day." He sighs, and you cast your eyes over to Wanda. She seemed annoyed. There was a small crinkle in between her brows that gave away her annoyance. You wanted nothing more than to. Make it go away. You pulled your hand from Bucky's grip, a small smile on your face.
"I missed you too, Buck." He frowned.
"What happened to you?" Steve asked, and you sighed.
"Well... since you destroyed HYDRA's plan to blow up the world they were angry with you so they took their frustrations out on me, at first it was purely anger based torture, but then they decided they needed me, so they experimented on me and then once they successfully turned me into an enhanced super solider, they froze me I guess, I don 't really remember much, I woke up a few years ago. It was weird I was the same age, but it was like a million years had passed. The world looks so different now. I- I don't think I'll ever be able to catch up." You explained. They all listened to your story intently. Wanda squeezed your hand as if to remind you that she was still here, or to support you, you didn't know which.
"They tortured you?" Steve asked brokenly.
You looked up at him and shook your head. "I survived, I'm okay."
"You're strong." The girl spoke up. You looked at her and smiled softly. Her eyes captured you as she stared at you. You couldn't find the strength to look away. Her features were soft, her eyes assessing you. There was this connection like there was something about her that pulled you into her orbit. She was truly gorgeous, from her fair skin to her cute button nose. You swallowed. Clearing your throat, you smiled.
"You feeling okay?" She asked, her hand still on yours. Her warmth was comforting.
"I'm as okay as I can be." You say with a smile. She continued to stare until a noise blurted out, causing you to jump. Steve smiled apologetically at you. He then pulled out a small square thing and tapped it. You frowned.
"Yes, Tony. I know. She’s okay.” He said, talking into the tiny magic box.
“I’ll update you on this when she has rested.” He muttered. Shoving the square thing back into his pocket.
A sudden chill wracked through my body and in a second the room had warmed and the chill of the room replaced with a toasty feeling. You glanced at Wanda and saw the red tint in her eyes. You tilted your head slightly, looking at the glow in her irises.
“Your eyes change colour?” You asked.
"A side effect of my power." She said, her hands glowing as she showed me. The red glow is similar to the red shield that encased you earlier, only darker, more vibrant. You looked at her in pure fascination. Your hand came up to touch her glowing hand, but Bucky quickly intercepted grabbing your wrist softly.
"Careful, doll, that energy stings." He said, glancing at Wanda's frown.
"Only when I want them to." She said with a feline smirk. In the split second, she made a decision. A small ball of her power shot out from her finger and slammed into Bucky's hand that was still gripping my wrist. He hissed in pain, ripping his hand away. He started shaking his hand as if it would stop the pain. Wanda giggled as he swore at her.
You grinned at the interaction. Your mind was reeling from today. So much had happened, and there was still so much to learn. You were eager to learn all about this new era, but even more eager to learn about the powerful redhead at your bedside. As if she could read minds, she turned to you and smiled. You smiled back, loving the blissful look on her face. You didn't spare Bucky a second glance as Steve called him over.

Okay, needed to share this thought with another Dammon appreciator.
Imagine Dammon not quite knowing how to express his feelings for Tav once he has to admit he has them. Like he can’t just come out and say it. It feels too wrong coming from him when compared to everyone else it could be coming from around them.
So he gives a generous discount, he helps Karlach (though he’d’ve done that anyway. If not for doing the right thing to help someone then to feel the pull of the infernal metal again. He misses the power and how dangerous and unwieldy it was and that’s just another reason those words can’t come from him.) He pilfers away damaged pieces of armor once Tav is asleep and repairs them, always placing them back in the pile before he heads to his own bed in the forge. He doesn’t know if anyone sees him but no one ever stops him. One day a piece of the armor can’t be repaired and so he makes something better. Something that won’t break. (Something to keep Tav safe while the rest of the world is being saved.)
And Tav. Tav cares. Tav admires. (Tav wants but has to lead, so Tav marches on) Always quietly relived when the group gets to the Last Light at the end of the days information gathering and planning and everyone is still there. Eyes glancing over to the warmly glowing forge and catching on the relentlessly determined (handsome) tiefling working there.
But Tav is also tired, they all are but at the end of the line all the decisions are on Tav and that weight isn’t insignificant.
This fight was particularly brutal and it shows in the weight of the party as they trudge to their tents. Tav starts to take their armor off at the end of the night and it’s different. Looks down and sees gleaming metal, armor that just by its looks is obviously more lovingly and well crafted than anything else they have on. Who looks over at the still glowing forge in the glow of the moon shield and follows their feet over that way.
Who just looks at Dammon as they stand there dumbly, half in and half out of armor. Who just stares at him as he turns to see who wandered in. Who has the armor in question their hand as they walk over to him slowly and now Dammon is panicking. Are they mad? (They aren’t.) Was the original piece special to them? (it wasn’t.) And while he’s panicking Tav has gotten within a few feet of him and stopped suddenly (Their brain finally caught up to their feet) and when he looks up they look so confused and maybe a bit hopeful? And before he can say anything they’re looking down at the armor in their hands (the armor he made for them) and he wonders idly when the last time someone protected Tav instead of being shielded by them was. And before he knows it, that thought has propelled him to right in front of them and he’s tentatively pulling them into his chest and holding them tight when they sink into his arms, tail wrapping around their leg down to the ankle and he’ll do everything he can to make sure no one takes them from him (ever) .
(I’m pulling a bit from the Dammon Flaws post earlier because it resonated with something in my Tav)
I'm sorry anon, I definitely sat on this for a couple days. That was mostly because I post my inbox replies right when I wake up and I feel like this deserved a slightly less sleepy me 😅
I honestly love this so much, just sneaky Dammon trying to do whatever he can for Tav, to make their life a bit easier. All of it culminating in a sweet hug in his forge when they finally realise the extent he's gone to. Honestly I can absolutely see him doing these things, and telling himself they aren't anything special, and that they have many more options than just him. He just really needs a kiss to quieten down his thoughts a little bit.
Thank you for sending this in, I love it so much and I'd love to hear more of your stuff sometime ♥️

The bouncer looks over Jungkook’s ID for too long. He shines his mini flashlight at the plastic and watches how the shimmery symbols reflect in the light as if to say, I’m real, please believe me, and Jungkook watches with clammy palms splayed against the sides of his thighs. The denim of his jeans soaks up the moisture as he subtly rubs his hands along the seams like it matters if he’s sweaty. No one will be shaking hands with him tonight, and if everything goes according to plan, he’ll be sweaty for another reason.
That is, if he actually makes it inside the club before it closes.
His ID is real, but Jungkook has an “angel-baby face,” as Hoseok calls it. It doesn’t matter that he has hole-punched his face to slip silver rings wherever he can. According to his roommate, round cheeks and eyes pulled straight from a Disney movie are enough to slam Jungkook face-first into the land of perpetual childhood.
“Alright,” the bouncer reluctantly shoves Jungkook’s ID back into his hands and motions toward the door with his flashlight.
Jungkook hears one of the clubbers behind him groan, “Fucking finally,” but he’s too giddy to pay them any mind. He tries to keep calm as he slips through the doors, focusing on walking purposefully rather than skipping with anticipation.
He’s getting way too ahead of himself. A plan is in place, and Jungkook is determined to follow it. Straying from the plan, well, he doesn’t want to think about what that might mean for him.
For a strip club, Ego is far less seedy than Jungkook anticipated. The club is dark enough to give patrons a false sense of anonymity necessary for men to comfortably sit back in black satin chairs and let their tongues hang out of their mouths as male dancers gyrate in front of their faces. There are patrons of other genders, as well, but Jungkook thinks the men are the most afraid. They take their pleasure in the dark because it’s safe. Only the occasional strobe light of pink and gold casting a sugary glow across everyone’s faces breaks the facade, and even then, the effects are minute.
Jungkook thinks he has gathered this much about the club and its patrons by the time he eases into a barstool and sips on his overly-priced cosmopolitan. It’s the only fancy alcoholic beverage he knows of that isn’t dark liquor.
If this were a regular night out with Hoseok and his other friends, Jungkook would be throwing back tequila shots or sipping on a vodka cran. Rather than wear a nice black buttoned shirt and slacks, Jungkook would be sporting baggy cargo pants and an oversized t-shirt.
The thought that this isn’t just one of his regular Saturday nights reminds Jungkook that he should be nervous. And, fuck, he is. The back of his neck is hot, and a sweaty imprint is left behind when he lifts his hand from the black marble bar counter. It fades eventually, but it’s there.
He tells himself as he flags down the bartender that after one more drink, he’ll be ready. He can’t get too drunk; he needs his wits about him.
In the end, Jungkook is lucky that he’s only on his second drink, or else he wouldn’t have noticed the very thing he came to the bar to find.
Behind the bartender’s ear, half obscured by his mint green hair, is a small tattoo of an inverted pentagram with a dagger running through the middle. Jungkook’s heart kicks up in his chest, practically launching him over the counter. Three words are all he needs to speak. Three words. Three words. Three words.
“Um,” Jungkook begins, hearing the insecurity bleeding through his tone.
Shit.
“Would you like another drink, sir?” the bartender asks with a raised eyebrow and an airiness to his voice that catches Jungkook off guard.
Three words, three words, three words, it’s only three words.
Swallowing thickly, Jungkook straightens his posture and looks the incubus dead in the eyes as he says, “I summon Thirteen.”
Jungkook doesn’t know why he does it. There are so many reasons why he shouldn’t. Hoseok laid them all out for him before Jungkook ran off to Ego with his phone on Do Not Disturb and his heart in his throat.
For starters, it’s illegal.
Jungkook gets nervous about simply returning his past-due library books. How would he survive jail? Or even if he doesn’t go to jail, he’ll at least get a hefty fine thrown at him and a mark on his record. That’s enough to make him want to start crying just thinking about it.
Then there are the dangers, which explains why this is so illegal.
Jungkook doesn’t believe in it– he thinks it’s all discriminatory rumors and exaggerations. Incubus or not, they’re just a person. How could sex with a person be dangerous? Sure, there’s the supposed high, but Jungkook just can’t see how it’s possible to become addicted to a person.
Take the vampire blood epidemic currently sweeping the nation. Jungkook understands that. Humans ingesting vampire blood for the hallucinatory high that comes with it, that type of addiction makes sense; it’s consumable, tangible.
To be addicted to a person sounds fake.
For a brief moment, as the mint-haired bartender leads Jungkook through a series of backdoors marked “EMPLOYEES ONLY,” Jungkook thinks perhaps Thirteen is fake, too. Maybe this mint-haired bartender is going to kill him for being fool enough to believe in Thirteen.
All the horror stories Hoseok fed him earlier come bubbling up his throat like acid, images of people with sunken faces and cracked lips hovering around clubs, not unlike Ego, fingers shaking for a fix they can’t get anywhere else.
It’s illegal for incubi to feed off of humans. Incubi can only feed from other immortals; humans’ souls are far too fragile. Jungkook is a human, but he’d never consider himself fragile. He has grit despite how his hands shake.
“What’s your name, kid?”
The bartender’s question jerks Jungkook out of his spiraling thoughts. It takes Jungkook a deep inhale before he finds the ability to speak, and by that point, the two men have stopped in front of a plain black door with the number 13 embossed in gold in Jungkook’s sightline.
“J-Jungkook,” he answers, belatedly realizing he should have given a fake name.
With a curt nod, the bartender turns to the black door and knocks on it three times in quick succession.
From the other side of the door comes a low voice speaking a language Jungkook doesn’t understand. The lock clicks and the sound makes Jungkook realize he can’t hear the loud music from the front of the club. Just how far back is he?
“Come on,” the bartender orders gruffly.
Stumbling forward, Jungkook tries to recover, but his confidence wavers once he peers through the cigar smoke weighing heavily in the air.
It’s a private lounge, perhaps one of those VIP rooms where more than just a routine lapdance occurs behind closed doors. Jungkook wouldn’t know; he doesn’t have the money for that type of thing.
Through the smoke, a man reclines on a red velvet couch with one arm draped over the back and his muscular thighs spread open. Dressed in a slate grey suit with a tastefully patterned tie snug at the base of a throat covered in thorny tattoos, he looks nothing like Jungkook had pictured.
Pleasure dealers are said to be dirty and seductive villains who lurk in the shadows and lure you in with a promise of a good time. Thirteen is sophisticated and intimidating, with a sharp jawline and high cheekbones. His eyes, black and ringed an ethereal blue, pierce into Jungkook. Something about him is suffocating, with one look capable of stealing the air out of Jungkook’s lungs like a violent intrusion.
The hand not gripping the back of the couch rests on his left thigh, palm facing upward. At the subtle flick of Thirteen’s middle finger, the bartender shoves Jungkook roughly into the room. The room, he hadn’t noticed, his entire body drawn toward Thirteen.
“Sir,” the bartender bows at the waist. “Jungkook has summoned you.”
Thirteen’s thick lips curl into a smirk that sends a rush of trepidation through Jungkook’s bones. Stony, yet with the slightest glint of amusement, Thirteen’s eyes shift from the bartender to Jungkook.
“Is that so?”
Jungkook’s next swallow is slimy, like a slug inching down his throat. It reminds him of the time Hoseok hexed him with a case of vomiting slugs after seeing the spell in a movie.
Unable to speak, Jungkook simply nods.
Thirteen leans forward to rest his forearms on his thighs with his hands loosely clasped between his spread knees. “To what do I owe the pleasure, Jungkook-ssi?”
Thirteen hisses Jungkook’s name, and Jungkook feels as though he’s being squeezed, Thirteen somehow wrapping around his body like a serpent despite sitting across the room. Warmth spreads across Jungkook’s cheeks and down the back of his neck. The room is stifling, but Thirteen’s gaze makes his chest feel cold.
“Pleasure,” Jungkook finds his voice enough to whisper the word right back. “I seek pleasure.”
Tumblr media
Thirteen has a piercing just below his plush bottom lip, a tiny silver ball that matches the location of the little chocolate mole beneath Jungkook’s bottom lip. Jungkook wonders what the silver ball would feel like if he licked it. He’s horrified by the thought.
“Did you not come to beg me for pleasure, Jungkook?” Thirteen’s breath is hot against Jungkook’s neck.
If Jungkook turns his head to the side, he can line his lips with Thirteen’s, make them overlap, and pry them open with the tip of his tongue. The thought assaults his mind.
Thirteen digs his fingers into Jungkook’s hair and yanks his head back to force their eyes to meet.
“Stop fighting me and fucking beg for it,” Thirteen growls.
“Please,” Jungkook whispers. He squeezes Thirteen’s shoulders, straight and thick with muscle Jungkook wouldn’t expect from such a polished appearance. Even the thickness of Thirteen’s thighs beneath Jungkook is surprising.
Sitting in Thirteen’s lap, Jungkook feels small.
“Are you sure you want this, human?” Thirteen spits the question, “Because it doesn’t sound like it.”
Thirteen is cruel. His lips curl into a smirk that’s just as attractive as it is mean. His grip on Jungkook’s waist is bruising and nearly painful, but Jungkook likes it. Usually, he doesn’t. Usually, Jungkook wants to be taken care of gently. He likes soft love, soft touches, soft fucking. Whatever this strange desire to be ruined is, it’s not normal. He yearns for it. His body aches as his mind reels.
Own me, take me, ruin me.
A sick mantra clouds Jungkook’s brain. He tries to blink it away, but the more he struggles against this strange pull, the foggier his head becomes.
“I-I want it,” Jungkook squeezes his eyes shut as a sudden wave of pleasure strikes him in the gut. It’s hot and wet, like lava rolling under his skin, from his chest down between his legs, where his cock is painfully hard in his slacks.
“Want what?” Thirteen mocks Jungkook’s inability to speak.
Jungkook can’t stop himself. He ruts against Thirteen’s body, rocking into him to get as much friction as possible. It shouldn’t be so hot, shouldn’t be hurling Jungkook toward an orgasm so quickly, but he feels like his entire body is pulsing.
“Y-Your cock.”
“No.”
Never in his life has Jungkook ever wailed, but he does now. He sobs with his entire body, back concaving and face buried into the crook of Thirteen’s neck when he cums.
It shouldn’t have been so easy. Aside from pulling Jungkook’s hair and letting him sit in his lap, Thirteen never even touched Jungkook. Yet he came, the force of his orgasm making him tremble like an addict going through withdrawal.
“Good things come to those who wait, little Jungkookie,” Thirteen murmurs in his ear.
A sharp contrast to his earlier behavior, Thirteen runs his fingers through Jungkook’s hair, smoothing out the strands he’d disturbed when he tugged on them so harshly. The action is confusing, though Jungkook’s brain is mush inside his head.
Jungkook tilts his head back to look Thirteen in the eyes. His eyes cross and waver, unable to focus on Thirteen’s face despite being right in front of him. Sleep, or something like it, tugs at Jungkook’s eyelids. His eyes flutter rapidly as the room spins.
“You taste exquisite,” Thirteen sounds pleased when he speaks. Jungkook doesn’t understand.
“I-”
Jungkook is falling. His eyes are closed, and his fingers stretch into the empty air, searching, no longer holding onto Thirteen’s muscular body. The darkness that sucks him up is cold, like the feeling in his chest when Thirteen looked at him for the first time. It seeps into his bones until Jungkook’s entire body trembles.
Jungkook is falling, and there is no one down below to catch him.
Tumblr media
Jungkook wakes up in his bedroom to the sound of Hoseok singing. His heart beats painfully in his chest. The rhythm is irregular, skipping a few beats or pumping so slowly that Jungkook panics, wondering if it may stop altogether. By now, the sensation shouldn’t be alarming; he’s been having these nightmares for weeks.
Every morning, he wakes like the living dead, sitting up abruptly with his fingers clawing at his chest and his mouth hanging open as he gasps for air that somehow chokes him when it goes down.
Falling, always falling.
It takes many minutes before Jungkook is calm enough to get out of bed. His knees are weak as he slowly creeps around his bedroom, searching for clothes that aren’t soaked with sweat. Laundry piles up wherever it can; Jungkook can’t remember the last time he cleaned anything in his apartment. He sifts through the piles as he flips through the catalog of dreams in his head.
Hoseok keeps telling him to go to the doctor. Insomnia isn’t anything to be ashamed of, his roommate insists. Plenty of people suffer from nightmares – or worse.
Jungkook knows all this.
The thing is, the cause of Jungkook’s insomnia isn’t the mystery Hoseok thinks it is.
Dark eyes stare at Jungkook from the bathroom mirror. The skin beneath them is puffy and purpling, so swollen that the bags wrinkle the tops of his cheeks. He tries smiling at himself in the mirror, and the black in his eyes remains empty, still murky waters.
Turning on the shower gets more difficult every day. Jungkook's hands shake so hard that he struggles to grip the knob tightly enough to twist it. He can’t ask Hoseok for help. Sleep deprivation can only explain away so much.
Jungkook keeps the water cold. He shivers beneath the stream pelting his skin, and clenches his teeth to stop them from chattering. The temperature never chases away the need that eats at his insides. His body burns with it. The cold water and the heat of his need create a tornado inside Jungkook’s mind, uprooting every sane thought until all he can focus on is the arousal stirring in his stomach.
For an hour, Jungkook jerks off under cold water and can’t reach an orgasm. He rubs his skin raw until tears and snot mix with shower water. It hurts his body, and the aching thing inside his chest that he thinks is his soul.
Why can’t he get rid of this need?
Tumblr media
“Jeon.”
A rough hand shakes Jungkook’s shoulder. His head slips from where it rests on his forearm and smacks the surface of his desk.
“What! What?” Jungkook flings his head back, reeling from the sharp pain stabbing his forehead. “What’s happening?”
Taehyung gives him a sad smile as he crosses his arms against his chest. “It’s after five.”
Jungkook blinks and looks around at the empty desks surrounding them. “Oh.”
“Come on, get up.” Taehyung cups his hand under Jungkook’s armpit and hoists him to his feet. “A couple of the guys are going to that new club, Id?”
Jungkook’s heart is thunderous, like a feral animal locked in a cage. He clears his throat before correcting his coworker, “Ego.”
Taehyung snaps his fingers. “That’s it. I was close enough. Weird Freudian shit.”
Jungkook is mostly silent on the subway while Taehyung babbles about the newest office gossip Jungkook has managed to sleep through – again. Hoseok says it’s insomnia; Taehyung thinks it’s narcolepsy.
Jungkook knows it’s Thirteen.
The headache that has made a permanent home nestled in the folds of Jungkook’s brain spikes as the two men wait patiently for the bouncer to check their IDs. Well, Taehyung is patient. Jungkook is sweating through the armpits of his work shirt.
“Hyunwoo said this place is a strip club at night but a pretty standard bar during happy hour,” Taehyung explains because he thinks Jungkook has never been here before. “The duality of it all, right?”
The mint-haired bartender looks at Jungkook with a blank expression, void of any hint of recognition. Jungkook isn’t sure if he should be grateful or offended as he sits with the rest of his coworkers at the bar. They all sip dark liquor that burns the back of Jungkook’s throat, reminding him that this was never really his scene.
He pretends to care about their idle conversation, laughs at all the right moments, and sucks on ice cubes to keep his mouth busy. The bartender doesn’t look him in the eyes when he gets Jungkook a second round, but all Jungkook looks at is the pentagram etched into his skin.
Taehyung’s fingers tickle Jungkook’s elbow, forcing him to look away from the bar.
“I’m gonna take a piss and then probably get outta here,” Taehyung announces. Two hours have passed, but Jungkook wouldn’t know.
The moment Taehyung leaves, Jungkook turns to the mint-haired bartender. The bartender stands off to the side to wipe down glasses and organize the alcohol bottles. His eyebrows furrow when Jungkook clears his throat to get his attention.
“I summon Thirteen,” Jungkook speaks confidently this time, even though he has to sit with his hands clasped between his thighs to keep them from shaking.
“He’s busy.”
Jungkook swallows thickly. “What?”
“Thirteen is busy. He cannot be summoned tonight.”
Anger flares in Jungkook’s chest, heating his face and neck. “What the fuck do you mean he’s busy?”
The mint-haired bartender rests his forearm on the counter and leans close enough for Jungkook to see the flecks of red in his irises. When he speaks, he shows the unnatural points of his canines.
“You better watch your tone with me, kid. Wouldn’t want to get blacklisted, would you? ‘Cause I can make it where no dealer in Seoul will do so much as look in your direction. Got it?”
Shame makes Jungkook want to be stubborn and refuse, but his desperation wins. He ducks his head and nods, aware of the fear rolling off him and realizing he doesn’t care. He doesn’t want just any dealer; he wants Thirteen. But he just wants to experience it once to have him fully. That’s all. Only once. Then his curiosity will be satisfied, and he can stop having dreams about the moment Thirteen takes him, finally takes him all the way, touches him, kisses him, tastes–
“You coming?”
Jungkook startles when Taehyung appears at his side once again.
“Uh,” Jungkook eyes the mint-haired bartender, but he’s no longer looking at him, “Yeah, yeah, I’m ready to go.”
Tumblr media
Jungkook returns the following day.
No Thirteen.
Jungkook returns the day after that.
No Thirteen.
Jungkook shivers and shakes through a week.
No Thirteen.
More weeks pass, more tremors and nightmares stack up against Jungkook’s withering sanity.
No Thirteen.
Tumblr media
“Please,” Jungkook begs with a sob muffled by the carpet.
He presses his face into the floor, cheek squished in a way that will leave marks on his skin. Jungkook took up the position as a sign of submission that his body naturally fell into without any thought. It should be embarrassing how quickly he sank to his knees in front of Thirteen.
For months, he’s been plagued by the creature in his dreams. For months, all he has thought about is being taken, owned, ruined. He wants to feel full, to be desired. He wants to know, for the curiosity to be satisfied, the way he knows Thirteen could satisfy him.
Only Thirteen.
“Please, what?”
Claws dig into the back of Jungkook’s neck, piercing the muscle and hooking into it so deeply that Jungkook can’t move. He feels blood trickle down his shoulders and pool in his collarbones, but the pain never comes.
All he feels is need.
“Please fuck me,” Jungkook whimpers. “Ive waited. I’ve been good; I came back. I waited for you.”
Thirteen scoffs as he releases Jungkook’s neck, only to dig his claws into the mess of his hair and yank him backward. Jungkook is pulled onto his knees with his head tilted backward to stare at Thirteen, who hovers above him with a biting, upside-down grin.
“Is that supposed to flatter me, Jungkook-ah? Am I supposed to care that you came sniveling at my door every day for months?” Thirteen twists Jungkook’s hair so tightly in his fist that Jungkook feels strands pull from his head. “Begging for me like a bitch in heat, weren’t you? Desperate for cock and to be praised?”
Each harsh word feels like another claw stabbed into soft flesh. Thirteen’s jeering hurts more than the wounds he digs into Jungkook’s skin, but he can’t stop himself from groveling. His mind is no longer his own. He is desperate. So, so desperate.
“I’m going to die,” Jungkook gasps when Thirteen roughly pushes him to the floor. Hot tears flow like lava down his plump cheeks. “I’ll die.”
“No, you won’t.”
“I will,” Jungkook sobs. “I will. I feel it, I will.”
Thirteen’s claws rip into Jungkook’s jeans, shredding the denim until there’s nothing left but tattered scraps of fabric wrapped around his waist. The air is cold against his bare skin, and he realizes belatedly that his briefs are mutilated, too.
“I decide whether you live or die, Jungkook-ah,” Thirteen whispers against the curve of Jungkook’s ear. Jungkook feels the tip of Thirteen’s cock press against his hole while Thirteen’s clawed hand grabs the meat of his cheek to spread him open. “Now shut up and have your reward for being so patient.”
Pain speers Jungkook’s body, sinking so far deep that he swears it creates fissures in his soul. Something horrible rips through Jungkook’s eardrums; it’s animalistic and wild. It’s his own scream, he realizes with a raw throat, that fizzles into whimpers with every rock of Thirteen’s hips.
It hurts getting fucked by an incubus, but Jungkook should have known that. It’s the pain that makes the pleasure so addicting, the feeling of having one’s soul devoured at the same time one's body is satisfied beyond their wildest fantasies. Thirteen fucks into Jungkook with his body, but he tears into his soul with his mind.
Drained, Jungkook wonders if this is how he’ll die.
“Is this what you wanted?” Thirteen hisses. His voice takes on a slurred, gravelly sound that makes Jungkook’s skin prickle. It’s demonic, otherworldly.
“Y-Yes,” Jungkook hiccups, and it’s true.
The skin of his cheek and knees is rubbed raw from being thrust against the carpet, and snot clogs his nostrils from how much he’s crying. When Thirteen twists his hair between his claws and tugs, Jungkook’s orgasm punches him in the chest, leaving him heaving as Thirteen fucks him into overstimulation to the point that he can’t breathe.
This is exactly what he wanted.

Viola redesign?
Yes
I'm not sure what exactly she is - because while I really like the "She's a Bayojeanne kid" side of things, I also love the theory/headcanon made by @leolithe (original post!) that Viola is actually just an amalgamation of all the people Bayo knows and loves - Rodin, Jeanne, Luka, Enzo, Loki, so on and so forth - so I ended up making two lore bombs under the cut to go along with both, since I couldn't decide on just one
Viola being a Bayojeanne Kid
With Viola being a Bayojeanne kid, I could see a "Possesed/Kidnapped by the Fae" situation going on with her
If you're like me, you didn't like Singularity. Hell, if you're truly like me you hated Singularity. Which is why I'm benching him from his villain pedestal in favor of the Fae.
Fae are much more compelling villains, and if the Cereza and The Lost Demon Cereza is the same Cereza as Bayonetta 3, then I'm pretty fucking sure the Fae are itching for revenge.
Aaaaaand what better revenge on a witch than to take her cub away?
And that's what happened - once Bayo and Jeanne had their little baby girl the rebel coalition of Faeries started plotting on how to steal her away. They probably have agents or spies to keep tabs on them, and once Viola was idk maybe a young teenager - they came in and snatched her away right under her mothers' noses.
The Faeries plan wasn't to just replace Viola with a Fae double - that would be too mild to be proper revenge for what Cereza did to them - so instead they settled for transforming Viola into a Fae, so she would never return to her mothers at all.
...but they failed to realize that not only were they messing with Umbra Witch MOTHERS, they were also messing with an Umbra Witch CHILD.
Cereza and Jeanne at least have some self control over themselves and their magic. Viola had a whooping total of none, zero, negative, she was a ball of chaos and untamed demonic potential - she was arguably worse than child Cereza ever HOPED TO BE, and that's how a portion of Avalon Forest dissapeared in one night 💀.
But to make things clear, what happened was that Viola was able to stop the Fae ritual before they could complete it - and then proceeded to cause massive chaos on the Avalon Forest while trying to get out, only for Cereza and Jeanne to come in, rescue her and trash the remaining Faeries like they were in a Rage Room.
However, some effects from the Fae ritual still were present in Viola, and it didn't matter how much they tried to, it wouldn't come off - so Viola had to learn to live as a 1/3 Fae from then on. Which, as far as Viola is concerned, if having a very powerful Fae form and a sick ass hair and face mark is living as a 1/3 Fae, then she's good with it lmao
And yes, due to the ritual being stopped at about halfway, it caused Viola to have this angry looking dark purple mark on her face - her purple hair strands aren't painted, it's just because the face marking seeped into her hair and made it into THAT. She thinks it's cool tho :)
Viola being an amalgamation of all the people Cereza loves/loved (Fae creation)
With Viola being an amalgamation of Cereza's memories created by the Fae, I can see her as being meant to be a weapon that chose to not be a weapon
In this scenario, I can see Viola being meant to be a counter attack against Cereza - "the only one who can defeat me is myself" and all that - essentialy, a glorified clone.
The Fae used up all their knowledge gathered about Cereza and her family circle, and crafted Viola based on those people and memories. She has everything - Jeanne's volatile/short fuse nature, Balder's flair for dramatics, Luka's determination, Rodin's resourcefulness, even Enzo's goofyness and Rosa's agility and steadiness, Loki's sassy behavior and desire for independence, and most importantly, Cereza's power.
She was born and bred to be the perfect anti-Cereza weapon, capable of blocking any and all her attacks, and counter them accordingly - but with how many people were used to make her, her mind is a jumble of feelings and memories that are not her own at all, and they influence her in ways the Fae didn't imagine it would.
Cereza's love for her mom, the memories of the sadness over not being able to rescue her, her love for Jeanne, how she considers Enzo, Luka and Rodin as her family and would do anything to protect them, all of her experiences and feelings and memories - Viola feels all, she knows everything, for fuck's sake she can hear Cereza's heart bleeding for these people - and she can't find it in herself to ever turn her hand against them, she feels too much, she's too soft. She also feels for Cereza too, how could she not, when she was made from her?
However, as much as she has Cereza's memories and feelings, she slowly begins to wish for her own self, to not be a weapon or a clone or just another Fae, but Viola, her own person with her own feelings and her own experiences. Which is what drives her to reach out for Cereza and her family as a call for help (the gang probably adopt her as a collective but she only calls Cereza [and maybe Jeanne] Mom)
The facial markings and hair are from the fact that while she is quite the outstanding creation, she's still both a Fae and an imperfect copy. Viola is not human, or Umbra (her ability to activate Witch Time comes from Cereza's memories, not really from a natural place within herself), she is and will always be Fae until the day she's dead, and she's not a perfect carbon copy of Cereza either - she has her own emotions and reactions that are wildly different from Cereza herself.
Another thing that is worth mentioning, is that one of the reasons Viola couldn't find it in herself to attack any of Cereza's family might be because she was made from the people she loved - love was the key in the equation, if the Fae had made Viola using only what Cereza hated (angels for example) chances are they would have a much more effective but volatile weapon (Viola evil counterpart maybe 👀?)
Aaaaand that's it for Viola for now, I must say I prefer the Amalgamation!Viola tho gotta love experiments that learn to be human 😍
