he has much better senses than you do, so he picks up the scent of an unfamiliar presence very quickly, immediately going on guard and scanning the surrounding area with a scrutinizing gaze. his arms go around you the moment he glimpses the treasure hoarder, pushing you behind him with a low growl. he snarls viciously when the hoarder dares take another step closer, showing all his teeth as his fur and hair bristles with rage, and the treasure hoarder pales, hastily apologizing in a quivering tone before sprinting far, far away from you and your Abyssal monster. Legacy slowly calms, wings settling against his back and muscles untensing. the hisses melt into coos of concern as he turns to you, nudging you and picking at the ends of your sleeves with his claws to make sure you're alright, and you smooth down his fluffed-up fur and hair with a gentle, soothing hand

despite your reassurance that you're perfectly alright, Legacy's on high alert, only relaxing once you've returned to your little house in the city. he immediately pushes his head into your hand with a chirp, insistently nudging it until you laugh and start scritching under his chin, and Legacy lets out a blissful purr and flops onto the floor with a small thump. his rumbles only increase in volume when you kneel and thank him for protecting you, running your hands through his thick hair and being met with many playful nips and nibbles, Legacy's crystalline eye sparkling with joy as he scoots forward and nuzzles his head into your lap, gently kneading his claws against your legs- he's rarely been praised for anything other than battle before you came into his life, and being sincerely thanked for keeping you safe makes his Abyssal heart warm to the brim

im a digital utility (/addt'l 2nd AC), so unless im covering one of the 2nds, i basically just set up all the teradek receivers/monitors so the directors, the DP, and the makeup dept can see wats happening on set without having to be on set (i change A Lot of batteries too)

and ykno, as far as the magic goes, the show had alredy sort of...stopped being as intense of an obsession for me as it used to be b4 i got the job on set, so it ended up being a somewhat natural shift once i got to see behind the curtain

like, dont get me wrong, i still have Mental Issues lmao, i am still not normal abt it, but it used to be so so so much worse nd th show rly consumed basically 100% of my headspace almost nonstop

so because i had kinda wound down b4 getting to work on set, it like...? it revived my love ig? but n a new way, w a new outlook that im happy to have. like, theres ben a change in energy n th past couple seasons anyways, so its felt p normal stepping into it in a new way too

(No, but... his mom definitely made him clean with her when he was younger, and I can see his dad as doing a lot of the cooking too, so he probably picked up both things very naturally to the point where they're now both very inherent to him.)

Do you have any drivers anxiety tips ? lol so random I know! . I’m so very embarrassed how long it’s taking me to finally have the courage to sign up for lessons 😭😭

You shouldn't be embarrassed, anon! I know so many people who experience driving anxiety, and so many people who are well into their 30s who still don't have their driver's license as a result of it (including a few of my very good friends). Driving is, ultimately, operating a heavy machine, so I totally get why that can cause a nervousness. Hell, while I don't really experience driving anxiety in my own car (I've had it for 14 years though, haha), I absolutely can when driving other people's and especially when driving a 2-tonne truck, which I sometimes do for work.

I think the best thing for driving anxiety is giving yourself a minute after you get in to take a breath and orient yourself. There'll be things your driving instructor will take you through, like checking your mirrors, the gearstick, the lights, the dash, but I think it's also good to check yourself and your posture too.

If you're like me and shorter than the average height (constant reminder that cars are really built for men, haha), check how comfortable you are looking over the dashboard. I drive a Toyota (and try to hire Toyota's when renting) because they have a really low dash which makes them a lot more comfortable for me to drive and makes me feel like I have a better scope of the road. Recently, I drove a friend's Honda and had to get a cushion to sit on to feel more at ease behind the wheel as the dashboard was pretty high.

Similarly, test the pedals before you turn the car on, get a sense of any stiffness (or lack thereof), and feel how much weight or how light a touch you might need to put down to accelerate or brake.

Once you feel oriented, just turn it on and give it a go! Starting off with an instructor is a great thing, because I can promise you that there's nothing they won't have seen before, and don't be afraid to start slow, take your time, and don't take any risks. Driving is definitely one of those things that gets easier the more you do it, and some of the things that might seem a bit confusing at first will become intuitive with a little time and practice.

I also find it's worth remembering sometimes if you're feeling anxious that cars have to go through a lot of road testing and safety testing before you're ever even allowed to glimpse them in a catalogue, let alone get behind the wheel, so know that you have that on your side too.

Omg pleaseee write carnival attendant dabi!! I wanna hear about all the tricks he had with pretty girls so bad lol. When a carnival came to my town once most of the people that worked the rides and stuff were foreign (I live in America) and there was this one guy that was Russian that was super cute. He would use his accent and speak in Russian to flirt with/impress all the girls lol. I can so see dabi doing that with Japanese and I would eat it up lol but I'm so interested to see what you have in mind for it!! ❤

the one attendant i remember being very cute, who was only with them for a few years, was a guy who ran the himalaya ride. he was young, maybe in his early to mid-20s and very lanky & tall. his work shirt didn’t fit him right, it was a little big and it exposed a good amount of his collarbone, and he had a lot of ear piercings. but he was very quiet and he had a sort of melancholic air around him that just made me feel ??? i don’t know, sad for him? he barely spoke to anyone at all (a lot of the other attendants are very chatty, both with coworkers and with guests), but he would bob his head to the music of the ride which i always thought was v cute haha c; it’s been over ten years since i’ve seen this man, but i still remember him so clearly, and i genuinely hope he’s doing well for himself.

i think one of the reasons why he stuck out to me so much was because he was so young compared to the rest of the workers. carnival life has always intrigued me, as it attracts people from all walks of life for various different & personal reasons, and i wondered what this man’s story was. obv it could’ve been as simple as wanting a job that travelled but idk!! he always struck me as being profoundly sad maybe i was projecting on him honest to god who knows
