What if,...

Kying had listen to the others and tried to get the best out of himself? To grow. To become stronger and stronger. He always had the potential to become a tribune or even a imperator.

What if he succeeds? He would grow to an powerful leader. But at the same time he would grow cold. Putting all own desires beside - he would only live to fulfill his duty as charr - charr above all.

It would be an even lonelier life. But he would have the respect of his kind. What more does he need?

Nothing.

To serve and fight. That's all that matter. And getting better,... and better... and better,... till sometday the cold, death will take him away.

This one makes me on another level sad. Kying was always intended to be a big soft man. Strong, but yet with a big heart. But on this path: Always trying to be better and yearn for more, he would forget what he trurly wanted: A friend. A familie. Love.

But at the same time, I like how the dynamic changes between Alternate!Kying and Alternate!Valefor. In this one, Valefor would be the one soften up the tough warrior. Maybe I write a little alternative AU with that in mind - just for the fun.

And yes, to the person wo send the ask with "Smiling Valefor giving them bottom vibes" - I'm sure this Alternate!Kying giving top vibes. For the "Bottom Vibes Valefor"-Ask, I have already a nice answer in the making. :3c If you want to throw more ask at alternative!Kying or alternative!Valefor, feel free to do so. Just give me a little time to answer them. I'm taking a very tiny break from ask, till I get the next Story part done.
