Thank you for the wonderful animal facts! Your amazing! <333
Do you know any facts about burrowing owls?
Of course my friend!
Burrowing owlets distress cry mimics that of a rattlesnake to scare away potential predators.
Burrowing Owls don't usually dig their own home, but tend to take over other burrows from other animals such as ground squirrels, prairie dogs, desert tortoises and more. In the absence of suitable homes Burrowing Owls have been known to nest in piles of PVC pipe and other lairs unintentionally provided by humans. Conservationists make use of the owls' adaptability by supplying artificial burrows made of buckets, pipes, tubing, and other human-made materials.
During breeding season Burrowing Owls are active during the day unlike other owls.
Hope this satisfies your owl needs! have a good one, friend!
