Baba Yaga – As you might have guessed – this is from the same series as some of the other black and white drawings I've been uploading every now and then.
As some of you might already know, Baba Yaga is an iconic villain in Easter European fairlytales. An integral part of Slavic folklore, this evil hag loves nothing more than to feast on children. She also sports a sleek house on chicken legs, in which she travels in style. She is often depicted as having a cat (bonus points if it is black), boasts magical powers and usually has a very long nose.
She is one of the many characters parents will use to scare their children if they misbehave.

I’m obsessed with AryaxGendry. 😑 but I hate how HBO handled their relationship at the end. All the characters personalities and motives were either entirely erased or just made very 1 dimensional, it’s too bad… but I hope GRRM gives Arya a happy ending in the books, maybe with Gendry 🥺.
Forgot to add this part; but that weird scene in season 8 episode 2 (ya know the one), I totally thought they butchered it and their chemistry. Older!Book Arya would’ve never done that, or at least, not that way… gendry definitely should’ve been the one making the moves. 😂

Here is yet another piece I did for the Lost Tale several years ago. This design underwent some significant changes as I drew it before I finally settled on a Bulgarian revolutionary-inspired garb. If I am not mistaken, this one was supposed to be the "voyvoda" - a leader of a group of revolutionaries or outlaws (technically the word used to just mean a military leader but has had its meaning, at least in popular imagination, somewhat skewed by the nationalist propaganda of the 19-20 centuries). I really like the flower wreath-hat mix and I am probably going to reuse this design idea somewhere else.
