Attacus atlas

From the saturniidae family. Their wingspan can reach up to 24 cm, and they have a surface area of about 160 cm2, being the largest moth to have been recorded. They tend to inhabit dry tropical forests and shrublands. They can be found across south, east and southeast Asia.

tumblr help I need to re-home a spider and the internet is just telling me how to make it leave

It was in a chest of drawers and for various reasons it can't stay there. There is also an egg sac that came loose. Where do I make it a home? Any tips?

(EU, Germany. Medium sized spider with brown colour and maybe grey patterns? I can look again. It seems to like dark corners and be sensitive to movement. Maybe that's all spiders I don't know. )

I accidentally killed our last spider so the stakes are high for me rehoming this one and its potential offspring. Its a proper killer too it had a whole earwig wrapped up for later which I accidentally threw away before I realised the spider was in there. Seems like a good house spider candidate.

are there rules or advice for how to make a good place for a spider home in your house?
