Is it time to buy an online gaming PC?
There was a time when buying an online gaming PC was not only for people with more money than time, but times have changed. The prices have come down to the point where building your own doesn't save you as much as it once did. However, even if you pay a premium price, you get perks like support, warranties, and discounts by buying a prebuilt. But before you swipe your credit card, there are a few crucial things to remember to ensure prebuilt is right for you before purchasing an online gaming PC.
Tumblr media
Is now a good time to buy?
When is the ideal time to buy a gaming PC? They can cost as high as a used car, without the getting-to-places utility, and prove as selective as a large houseplant (without the air-cleansing benefits). Hear us out, though. Gaming PCs can last a decade if you invest time and money.
Gaming PCs are a social play environment where you can sit and enjoy with friends. They offer access to an ecosystem of several games in which you and your friends occupy the same digital space — in MMORPGs like the World of Warcraft, competitive shooters like the Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, and MOBAs like League of Legends, and in the infrastructure of PC online gaming apps like Discord and Steam.
What can you do with a gaming PC?
Gaming PCs have a great range. Let's talk about online gaming first. If you want to spend time looming over a rainbow-lit mechanical keyboard playing League of Legends and enjoying it with friends, we are completely behind that. That is a respectable existence. It's the face of PC gaming—hardcore hardware running a hardcore game. Most top-level competitive gamers and sports pros generally buy online gaming PC because it generally means more accuracy, more fidelity, and fewer lags.
Should you choose to buy a gaming PC or build one?
Whenever someone talks about buying a gaming PC, their first response is, "Why don't you build one instead? It's not only cheaper, and you can get better specs." Here's the thing: That's probably true. Research which video card can max out the settings on the games you love, which case would look perfect on your desk, and which colour LEDs would match your gaming chair. If all that sounds right to you, and you are okay putting in the time and energy, you should do that.

do you think the amount of hatred games like 06 and shadow 05 gather is because the people criticizing them grew up with video game consoles with a lot of beloved and classic video games. because those games really do not deserve the infamy they get, i think they're treated as dogshit because a big video game franchise dropped the ball pretty hard and that makes them an easy and entertaining target for bashing. i did not grow up with game consoles, i grew up with flash games and a couple PC games i played with my sisters. the former has quality ranging anywhere from revolutionary to horrible, and the PC games we had were low-budget horse games. most had terrible progression and grindy gameplay filled with fetch quests, and the only redeemable aspect of them was that you had a funny horse and a semi-open world to explore with it. those were not good games, a lot of them also came with glitches that freaked us out because we were like 8 at the time. the first actual console we had was a DS and the first game we had for it was a shovelware LPS game that my sister "borrowed" from one of her friends (i still have it somewhere). these are not good games, but i think everyone knows that. a lot of people wouldn't have even played them because they had better games on home consoles. perhaps games like shth and 06 were their first looks into games that weren't as polished as their peers. perhaps they never had a funny low-budget horse game where every other save file you make is buggy and unplayable. perhaps they don't know of how unloved something can get

I know "persona fans haven't played persona" is a meme & true often, but it irks me the wrong way when people use it to make fun of fans who watched YT walkthoughts, like do they know that not everyone has the money for consoles (and even if they do, buying a whole console just for a few games isn't wise for most ppl) :\
Persona games are like 80% text, isnt like the story or character arcs will change becase youre the one pressing A. You arent missing too much, plus the games are like 40% of the experience, you need the manga, anime, cd dramas, stages, novels & club/fan books to get the full grasp of the characters and the story.
For other games where the fun comes from the gameplay (fighting games, mario kart and such) of course you have to play them, but for VNs I dont think its a sin honestly. At least they're trying to see everything by themselves rather than making assumptions from fan interpretations & wiki pages (too many of these ppl around there.......)
(for P2 though, you have to play it yourself because the amount of story-related dialogue tucked away in store convos is insane, I dont trust any lp to show them all, but for the others its ok imo)

did anyone else here grow up with the nancy drew pc game series when they were a kid? those were my lifeblood in elementary school, and while i still do very much stan, the games are really old at this point and it's hard to get them to run, especially if you using macOS.
imo the market these games occupied has never been correctly filled in the time since the nd games' production schedule ground to a halt, even though i know they were a very niche product to begin with. i think people forget about this now, but in the late 90s and early aughts, it was still pretty unusual for children to have video game consoles and it was kind of assumed that the entire market for games were boys and men. so there was an additional prong of the gaming industry that was more geared towards young girls, but they were generally pc games that didn't ask a lot of your computer for them to work. there are some indie games that kinda scratch the same itch if you look for them, but i loved how these hit a very specific cross-section of "unapologetically sort of janky", "popular enough that you could buy them at walmart or target", and "possible to beat even if you thoroughly suck at video games".
imo "life is strange" is the closest thing we've gotten in recent years in terms of it being plot driven, the spiritual successor of point and click adventure games wrt the mechanics of it, and in the grey area of "hidden gem" and "decidedly mainstream", but lis doesn't exactly have puzzles in it.
and to add insult to injury, the development co still exists and still cranks out a game every few years, but they've moved away from the point and click format and did a really bad job modernizing the engine in general. the most recent game took an insane amount of processing power to run, which sort of defeated the purpose of "here's a game you can enjoy, even if you don't have a gaming pc/aren't running a bitcoin mine in your basement". and even if you did, it still ran poorly and looked bad. the point?! what was it?!

AMD vs. Nvidia: An Epic Battle
It's a conflict pursued starting from the start of the 3D illustrations on gaming PCs. ATI and Nvidia faced through the 1990s and mid 2000s. Nvidia won that battle, however ATI got another opportunity when AMD obtained the organization in 2006. The fight has gone on since.
Tumblr media
Picking either AMD and Nvidia can appear to be confounding initially, yet one enjoys a few vital upper hands over its rival. This is the way AMD and Nvidia look at.
We think about AMD versus Nvidia in view of the accompanying:
1. General Gaming Performance 2. Ray Tracing Performance 3. Gaming Laptop Performance 4. Upscaling (FSR versus DLSS) 5. Adaptive Sync (FreeSync versus G-Sync)
AMD vs. Nvidia – General Gaming Performance
Tumblr media
Setting AMD in opposition to Nvidia overall game execution is troublesome due to the great many realistic cards accessible, however a couple of patterns stick out.
Also read :Should You Buy a Pre-built Gaming PC in 2022?-GAMES sport
The best video cards from AMD and Nvidia offer comparable execution. AMD's best cards are addressed by the RX 6800 XT, RX 6900 XT, and RX 6950XT, while Nvidia's best are found in the RTX 3080, RTX 3080 Ti, RTX 3090, and 3090 Ti. These cards can deal with 4K at 60 casings each second or higher in most PC games sold today.
GAMESsport's surveys of the Nvidia RTX 3090 Ti and AMD RX 6950 XT arrived at a score of 8/10. The equivalent is valid for other very good quality AMD and Nvidia cards.
Mid-range execution is where the opposition warms up. Nvidia's cards additionally start to lead the pack in this class with the RTX 3070 sitting at the first spot on GAMESsport's list of the best designs cards. AMD options like the RX 6700 XT fall somewhat behind. "However, slight" is significant. It's difficult to see the distinction without a framerate counter.
AMD has an edge in the section level market with its Radeon RX 6500 XT. However not so fast as many trusted, the RX 6500 XT is accessible at or somewhat underneath its $200 MSRP and can beat the GTX 1650, which is comparably estimated.
Nvidia retaliates on the off chance that you can spend a smidgen more, notwithstanding, because of its baffling exhibit of financial plan cards. This incorporates the GTX 1650 Super, GTX 1660, GTX 1660 Ti, GTX 1660 Super, RTX 2060, and RTX 3050. AMD manages with more seasoned items, similar to the RX 5600 XT and Radeon RX 580. However you could find a reasonable plan on a specific spending plan AMD card, Nvidia's contributions are all the more generally accessible and typically a superior worth.
This classification is close, however Nvidia takes the success. It faces AMD on the top of the line, yet gives a superior scope of choices through the spending plan and mid-range sticker costs. AMD's choices are extended excessively far.
The Winner is Nvidia

AMD vs. Nvidia – Ray tracing performance
Nvidia carried ray tracing to PC gaming with the send off of the RTX 20 series in 2018. AMD required a couple of years to make up for lost time, yet the organization conveyed equipment ray tracing speed increase in the Radeon RX 6000 series.
This has helped Nvidia out. AMD's best video cards, like the Radeon RX 6950 XT, RX 6900 XT, and RX 6800XT, have  ray tracing execution more in accordance with the more affordable Nvidia RTX 3070 and RTX 3070 Ti. Nvidia's best video cards depend on 50% than AMD equipment while  ray tracing is on.
And game similarity? Fortunately, virtually all games that help ray tracing  are viable with both Nvidia and AMD equipment. However, this isn't totally general. Godfall at first just upheld AMD, however it has since gotten an update for Nvidia RTX support. In any case, ray tracing special features are an exemption for the standard.
The Winner is Nvidia
AMD vs. Nvidia: Gaming laptop performance
Tumblr media
The qualities that lead Nvidia to wins in both general and ray tracing execution are rehashed in gaming laptops.
AMD and Nvidia both proposition numerous  laptop graphics arrangements, and most contend intimately with one another. Be that as it may, Nvidia has an observable lead in the financial plan and slight and-light market, where the GTX 1650 versatile and RTX 3050 are broadly accessible. Laptops with AMD discrete graphics, similar to the HP Victus 16 and Asus ROG Zephyrus G14, are incredibly intriguing.
There's more rivalry in the mid-range gaming laptop market, however Nvidia stays the pioneer. AMD's RX 6700M and RX 6800M are speedy however tracked down in a couple of laptops, like the Asus ROG Strix G15.
The absence of AMD equipment passes on Nvidia to win this class naturally. There's in a real sense many extraordinary gaming laptops with Nvidia equipment which, thusly, implies you can shop in light of cost to catch a more ideal arrangement.

The Winner is Nvidia
AMD vs. Nvidia – Upscaling
Tumblr media
Upscaling is requesting even on the world's most impressive customer video cards. AMD and Nvidia remunerate with upscaling highlights that essentially render games at a lower goal and afterward upscale the outcome to your screen's native resolution.
AMD's innovation is called FidelityFX Super Resolution (FSR 2.0). It's an open-source innovation accessible to both AMD and Nvidia equipment as well as others, like Intel. Its most memorable manifestation was a spatial upscaler that could utilize information from each casing. The new variant, FSR 2.0, is a worldly upscaler, and that implies it can utilize information from different casings over the long haul. FSR 1.0 is accessible in north of 100 games. FSR 2.0 is fresher and just support two or three dozen games (up to this point).
Nvidia's DLSS is further developed. It utilizes AI to upscale a game past its render goal. This strategy is more fit since it adds new information to each casing. This isn't open-source and just deals with Nvidia equipment. More than 200 games and applications support DLSS.
This is one more win for Nvidia, as the picture nature of DLSS is many times better than FSR. Remember, nonetheless, that it's just applicable assuming you like to mess around with ray tracing empowered. The greater part of games accessible today, including new games, don't support ray tracing, FSR, or DLSS.
The Winner is Nvidia
AMD vs. Nvidia – Adaptive sync
Tumblr media
Also read :New NVIDIA 16 Series GPU: What to Expect-GAMES sport
Adaptive Sync is one of the main highlights of present day video cards, laptop graphics, and PC gaming displays. It permits a gaming screens and gaming TVs to refresh in sync with the output of a your graphics card. This keeps movement smooth and stops screen-tearing. AMD FreeSync and Nvidia G-Sync offer adaptive sync when paired with a compatible display.
The two standards are more comparative than they are unique. All forms of AMD FreeSync, and Nvidia's "G-Sync Compatible" rendition of G-Sync, are based on VESA's open AdaptiveSync standard. As a matter of fact, most screens that are viable with one will work with the other - however this isn't ensured except if support is promoted.
Nvidia's G-Sync and G-Sync Ultimate are an alternate story. These versions of G-Sync communicate with G-Sync equipment in compatible displays. This empowers versatile sync over a more extensive scope of refresh rates, however G-Sync and G-Sync Ultimate shows just help adaptive sync with Nvidia video cards.
AMD and Nvidia neglect to take a lead here. Nvidia's G-Sync and G-Sync Ultimate are in fact unrivaled, yet just barely. G-Sync and G-Sync Ultimate showcases are likewise interesting and costly. Most gaming screens sold today stick to AMD FreeSync, Nvidia G-Sync Compatible, or both.
Winner: Tie
AMD vs. Nvidia – conclusion
I'll be obtuse: Nvidia beats AMD, and it's way off the mark.
This isn't to say AMD is sad. AMD designs can do well overall execution tests, particularly beneath 4K resolution, and an assortment of AMD cards can give great bang to your buck.
Nvidia takes a major lead in ray tracing, however, and has an unrivaled upscaling arrangement as DLSS, which makes ray tracing playable on an extensive variety of Nvidia equipment. Nvidia additionally rules the gaming laptop field.
Also read :RTX Mode in GTX Cards: How to Get the Most Out of Your GTX 1080Ti ?-GAMES sport
This decision isn't a shock. The most recent Steam Hardware Survey shows more than 75% of all players on Steam use Nvidia equipment. AMD is in a far off second with a hair under 15% of the Steam client base. That is a monstrous hole - and additional evidence Nvidia holds the crown.

I can’t believe I gave up on console gaming after trying and failing to enjoy overwatch for a year and a half because a friend at the time was really into it. as if overwatch was the peak of all gaming experience and I was doomed to hate every game that was not within my usual 2 genres forever. I may lack the fine motor skills and coordination to be competent with a controller but at the very least I’m a dedicated friend.

THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND WHILE BUYING A BUDGET GAMING PC
If you want to play today’s level of games on your PC, it is important to pick out a gaming system with dedicated hardware for gaming purposes. While a regular PC may run some basic or older games, you need a dedicated graphics card and more powerful hardware to be able to play the latest titles. Today’s top-tier games are among the most computationally complex tasks a computer can do.
A gaming PC is a desktop that is often custom-built for the purpose of increasing performance in modern computer games that may require an increased graphical and processing power. One of the most significant differences between regular and gaming machines is video processing. There are numerous specifications that you would want to add to your gaming machine to make it as powerful as it can get.
It is essential to get a balanced gaming PC, from ensuring you have the best storage for your gaming PC to getting the right specs in place for your needs. Listed below are 5 major gaming PC specifications to consider when buying a gaming PC:
COST
It is possible to spend thousands on a budget gaming PC, and it is also possible to spend some lakhs on a high-end gaming PC in India. Ultimately, it is down to what you can afford as to how much you want to pay. The more you spend, the more likely it is you will be investing in top-quality components. That means a gaming PC can be expected to last longer, so for future-proofing purposes, it is smart to spend a bit more upfront. If you are on a budget, you can still make a good investment and have a great PC for gaming. With any purchase, only spending what you can afford is crucial, but with something as expensive as a gaming PC, it is easy to get carried away.
GRAPHICS CARD
Graphics cards are the heart of what enables you to play games at high resolutions and with as many graphical features enabled as possible. Look for a card that is suitable for playing 1080p resolution at minimum with 4k resolution an option depending on the budget. The most powerful GPU processor you can afford. The most GPU RAM you can afford.
PROCESSOR/ RAM
The processor is essentially the brain of your computer as it is responsible for interpreting and executing pretty much all of what unfolds on your screen. Computer RAM works much like VRAM, but rather than assisting the graphics card’s processor, it helps the main CPU instead. The more RAM you have, the better your system can retrieve temporary information, improving speed and performance.
HARD DRIVE
SSD storage is one of the easiest ways to make your gaming PC perform faster. You can read files more quickly through SSD storage, reducing game loading times for you and generally improving performance. It is essential to make sure you buy as much SSD storage as possible.
Additional Tips on buying the best gaming PC:
Before you dive into buying a gaming PC, there are a few other things you might want to consider:
Do you need a gaming PC?
A gaming laptop might be a better choice
Don’t forget the aesthetics
Optimize your budget
The goal of buying a gaming PC
Even if you are a casual gamer or streamer, an experienced gamer who likes to mod, Kryptronix has got all the mean gaming machines with envious specifications that make your preferred custom rig PC most powerful.
