Felix's London apartment was luxurious. Of course, it wasn't Saltburn, but there was a lot to see and be impressed by here too. Especially the view of the Thames, which was strewn on both sides with many lights of the most beautiful sights of the UK capital. Felix and all his guests found the lights especially bright in winter, as on this late February evening.
Especially the girls. Each of those whom he brought here stopped in awe at the huge panoramic windows and looked at the views almost from the height of the flight of a city bird. If before that they had somehow not been one hundred percent fascinated by Felix and his lifestyle, then this luxurious apartment was always the final charming argument.
Y/N was no exception.
When he brought you to his place after a fun evening full of alcohol, it seems that you looked at the views of the city more closely than anyone else and even managed to point out to him some new places from afar, which he did not pay much attention to or did not know what exactly these places were.
Felix smiled warmly - he would love to admire the view of the city with you, preferably standing in an embrace. But then he wasn't interested much of it back then, rather in something else. When he returned from the kitchen with a bottle of expensive alcohol and two glasses, you barely had time to taste the drink, as you merged again in a passionate kiss, which flowed into an even more passionate night. One of the best for both of you, and oh how he would like to repeat it.
But you weren't here right now.
There was no one but Felix himself, this evening was also full of alcohol, but there was little fun in it.
And all because you misunderstood each other. Very much.
When he brought you to his house from the club that day, he didn't think that you would take it all so seriously. Kate didn't take it in. Therefore, from her friend (or whoever you were to her, or maybe you didn't communicate that close? After all, if Felix had to think about it, it was the first time he saw you there with her…) he expected the same understanding.
You had a great time at the club, and then a night at Felix's apartment. Then you started to chat online a lot, went for a brunch and for a walk in the park, where you talked for a long, long time, cheerfully chatting about everything in the world. Well, except for discussing relationships. Then another night together, no less, if not more wonderful than that the previous one. Then another brunch. And after that… You had a lot of work and things to do, while Felix had a lot of free time and his own needs.
When you found out from Kate that he had slept with a couple of girls during that time (not with Kate herself, though they stopped sleeping not so long ago), you were crushed.
And she just shrugged her shoulders and said that you should have known or guessed that Felix lives in a free relationship mode.
You didn't know. Or you didn't want to know. And the main thing was that you thought that something special was going on between the two of you, you saw it in Felix's eyes, felt the distinct warmth of his touch and a certain special thrill overall. The way you talked to each other. It wasn't just sex or an empty mindless flirt, even if the beginning of your relationship was very fast and passionate. It was all felt even after two nights and many days, evenings and nights of mutual texting and calls.
Anyway, you didn't discuss otherwise. That was the whole point. And so, when, after things suddenly got clear, you received another usual message from Felix, you ignored it for a long time, unable to respond, being numb with pain, indignation and shame. You still was processing it and didn't believe to the end (that it would happened or that you were such a fool, you weren't sure yourself, probably both). Then, after a few more of his messages, you somehow pulled yourself together and answered all of them at once, quite briefly and dryly.
After some dialogue in this manner, Felix realized that there was clearly something wrong. He started asking what was the matter, to which you answered him:
You didn't answer. Felix called. So, roughly in ten minutes of a phone conversation, you found out in raised tones that he "doesn't owe you anything nor didn't promise anything" that you "are fine as you are now, why complicate everything" and that "please, let's keep seeing each other, it doesn't mean anything special" was a real argument to him.
"As if you don't know yourself."
"Explain?"
"I don't want to, I'm not in the mood to talk to you right now. If ever at all."
"???"
You shouted into the phone "No, if you don't want to complicate things, then I do, I'm sorry! More precisely, I wanted to. I thought we were serious.… Maybe... it seemed all... special. That's it, look, I... I don't want to talk any longer. And don't call me anymore, okay?"
And so, one day had passed, then two and three. And now the fourth day was already ending, turning into the fifth. You really didn't pick up the phone anymore and didn't respond to his messages, which were getting fewer and fewer every day.
But Felix had more and more thoughts in his head instead. He has almost passed all the stages of acceptance these days:
denial - "no, it's nothing, she's going to be mad a bit and come back to me";
anger - "not coming back? Well, fuck her!";
bargaining - "please, Y/N, answer my messages already...";
depression - "have I really lost touch with her forever?..".
Except for the acceptance itself, of course. And besides the fact that he was returning to all these stages randomly from time to time.
He really did not understand, he was not used to the fact that a girl could take a relationship with him that seriously, especially so immediately. Okay, these infatuations at school and even sometimes at university, when people fell head over heels in love with him, romanticizing him without really knowing him, but now? In the adult world, when everyone should understand the "rules of the game" and that no one seriously owes anyone anything until it is discussed. That was how Felix thought about it. And that was why it was so strange to him that it could hurt you so deeply.
He contemplated about it all the time and, to tell the truth, it even began to flatter him that someone could fall in love with him so much and take him that serious from the start. If he got everything correctly. Yes, at first it surprised him, then it worried him, then it flattered him, and after that... something inside him began to hurt unpleasantly?
He wasn't lying back then. These girl didn't mean a lot to him. But did this mean that Y/N did?..
His heart and mind began to fill with deep, complex feelings that he had not experienced for a long time and, to be honest, had not realized properly and processed in an adult way, being almost-thirty.
And Felix got scared. He was genuinely scared, that was why, first of all, he was pouring alcohol into himself all evening, inhaling lots of smoke as well.
And right now, he decided to brighten up his company not only with wine, champagne and cigarettes, but also with music. He chose Bruno Mars, whose new album he has listened to quite often since its release. Fancy stereo speakers filled his apartment with the loud sounds of "24K Magic".
Felix danced to the rhythm of the songs, sipping wine straight from the bottle. Now he tried to imagine that he was having fun in a club, and not alone in a dark empty apartment, and he almost succeeded in that.
That way Felix Catton decently lifted his mood along with the level of alcohol intoxication.
He skipped the song "Versace on the Floor" because he wasn't in the mood for slow romantic songs. But when "Calling All My Lovelies" started playing a little later, Felix was unable to switch it either.
He leaned back in one of the chairs, frowning and very intently listening through a decently tipsy consciousness to the lines of the song that had begun.
I got too many girls on hold for you to be so bold
Too many on my team for you to act so mean
"Oh, yeah. Exactly so," Felix thought.
You say you wanna go and have fun, well, you ain't the only one
If I ring, don't let it ring too long or I'm gone
"That's bloody right," he said aloud and nodded slightly several times, taking another sip of wine from the neck of the bottle.
I got Alicia waitin', Aisha waitin'
All the -eeshas waitin' on me
And also Stacey, Tracey, Macey, Lacey… Had he mentioned Tracey already? In general, all sorts of -aceys were waiting for him too, and not only them.
So why you contemplatin'? Playa hatin'?
If this is how it's gonna be
I'm callin' all my lovelies (Callin' all my lovelies)
'Cause I can't get a hold of you
At these words, Felix gripped the bottle so tightly that it almost broke under the force of his fingers squeezing it. It was definitely unpleasant for him to hear from Bruno Mars things that Felix was afraid to admit even to himself. He shook his head, closing his eyes. No, that was bullshit.
Since you ain't thinkin' of me (Since you ain't thinkin' of me)
Oh, look what you're makin' me do
Sharp breath. Closed eyes. Exhale.
Honey pie, I'm far too fly to be on standby
Sendin' me straight to voicemail, suga, what the hell? (What the hell?)
That was right! What the hell was all that? You ignored him too! How long had he been texting you and even calling you? Was that fair? Why should he run after you? He shouldn't.
Ooh, you ought to be ashamed, playin' these childish games
I don't get down like that, tell me where you're at, hit me back
Yes. Come and tell him that to his face. Oh, how he wanted you to be right in front of him now. Or didn't want to. No, he actually did. And not only to talk, getting things clear, but also to repeat the night like these… His imagination had already begun to draw pictures of how he would kiss you, undress you... and then… Your sensual moans echoed in his head. He almost felt your skin with his elictrified fingertips. And after that... no, no, stop.
Mmm, I got Alicia waitin', Aisha waitin'
All the -eeshas waitin' on me
"That's it, Bruno, you understand me, buddy! Felix mentally raised a bottle of wine as a toast and drank another sip to "them boys", to "free spirits".
So why you contemplatin'? Playa hatin'?
If this is how it's gonna be
He could have called any of the girls he mentally had listed. And everyone would come to him immediately or at least as soon as possible, doing everything Felix would have wished. Ha. How do you like that, Y/N?
But for some reason he didn't want to text to any of them, much less call them.
The only voice he wanted to hear right now was yours.
I'm callin' all my lovelies (Callin' all my lovelies)
'Cause I can't get a hold of you
Since you ain't thinkin' of me (Since you ain't thinkin' of me)
Oh, look what you're makin' me do
For the second time, he couldn't stand listening to these words. Abruptly and carelessly putting the bottle on the glass table and staggering decently, Felix wandered off to get his phone. It was time to call his not-even-ex-not-girlfriend. Catton-Jr. seemed to be listening to the dial tone more on purpose, just not to listen too closely to the words of the song that went on:
Pick up the phone, pick up the phone
'Cause all this lovin' needs a home, oh, yeah
Oh, no, look at what you started, baby
Now, I'm left here brokenhearted, baby
"Pick up the phone, yes, pick up the phone, come on," he repeated, tapping his foot. The phone dropped the call after a short time, and the guy dialed for the second, then the third time and…
There's a pain in my chest, I cannot explain
I told myself I wasn't gon' cry (Oh, not gonna cry, no, no)
But somebody's gotta come dry these eyes 'cause (Dry these, ah, 'cause)
The dial tone beeps continued. Felix studied London at night under their measured rhythm. His favorite activity was to peer at passing boats and ships of various sizes, models and speed, as well as trying to count their number. He often got distracted, but still loved it.
So, he didn't notice that the beeps from the real phone had flowed into the beeps from the song. In "Calling All My Lovelies" Bruno's imaginary crush was a famous actress. Her voice "responded" in lively yet sensual tone:
Hi, you've reached Halle Berry. Sorry I can't get to the phone right now
But if you leave your name and number, I'll get right back to you *mwah*
Damn... (Bruno Mars' voice hissed back with increasing echoes and annoyance).
At this point, Felix himself clenched his teeth and threw the phone on the floor out of anger. Fortunately, the carpet was soft enough to survive the fury of its owner and continue to function in case you suddenly wanted to respond.
I'm callin', callin', callin', callin' all my lovelies
'Cause I can't get a hold of you
Oh, since you ain't thinkin' of me (Since you ain't thinkin' of me, baby)
Look what you're makin' me do
Felix almost whimpered at the realization of what a fool he had been and what a stupid situation he was in right now. Where he led himself. Why couldn't you two just talk? Why couldn't he just tell it all at once, from the start? Maybe it would have been different otherwise now. Resting his forehead against the big window, he felt its pleasant coolness, but it could not cool down his burning resentment inside. Most of all, he did not like it when the blame for the current situation could not be shifted to anyone or anything else, and this pained him incredibly right now.
Pick up the phone, pick up the phone
'Cause all this lovin' needs a home, oh
He collapsed into a chair near the window, clutching its handles tightly and stretching his long legs. If only he would…
Felix inhaled and exhaled noisily, throwing his head back and taking a pack of cigarettes along with a lighter out of his shirt pocket. The fingers did not obey a little, as the hands of their owner were shaking slightly from nerves and alcohol intoxication. He growled slightly in irritation. When the guy was finally able to light a cigarette, he took a long drag on it.
Now he wasn't in the mood for energetic and carefree songs. He skipped "Finesse".
That was how the last song from the album started playing - "Too Good to Say Goodbye":
I've made mistakes
I could have treated you better
I let you get away
There goes my happily ever after
Tell me why, why can't we try and start again?
This can't be how our story ends…
Oh, please…
He really did miss you.
And he was not right.
He wanted to win you and your trust over again. He finally admitted it with all his heart to himself. He would try. Really.
If only you could…
The phone, thrown on the fluffy carpet, suddenly came to life and started vibrating.
Releasing all the smoke from his lungs, which Felix had inhaled, at once, he abruptly bent down to the carpet.
Your name appeared on the phone screen, gleaming brightly in the darkness.

Tía Y/N (Madrigal triplets & Reader) part 2
Tumblr media
Part 1
_____________________
"GET OUT OF MY WAY!"
"I WASN’T EVEN PART OF THIS!"
"FÉLIX, I WANT A DIVORCE!"
"JULIETA, COME BACK HERE!"
“YES JULI, COME BACK!
“NEVER!”
“SHE DOESN’T HIT YOU THAT HARD!”
"BETTER YOU THAN ME!"
“YOU’RE THE ELDEST! YOU HAVE TO SACRIFICE FOR YOUR BABY SIBLINGS”
“I KNOW NO SIBLINGS BUT THE ONE WITH THE CHANCLA BEHIND US, YOU’RE ON YOUR OWN”
“JULIETAAAAAAAA”
Alma tried not to laugh and maintain a serious face, but it was quite difficult when her triplets, all 50 years old with their own families, ran as a soul that the devil carries to avoid what everyone is afraid of: la chancla.
She didn't really know what was happening, it had been a quiet and normal morning, with the whole family taking a day off to enjoy each other's company. She had been embroidering with Mirabel in the living room (she did it more and more often, in an attempt to fix the relationship with her younger granddaughter), when Isabela and Camilo had entered laughing out loud, with Felix and Luisa smiling behind them.
They did not even have time to ask what happened before three green, yellow and blue spots flew next to them, with a very angry Y/N yelling from upstairs.
Alma was no fool, she knew that you, her eldest daughter and the one who reminded her most of Pedro (at least in appearance), had long taken the role that corresponded to her in the life of the triplets. On the one hand, she was happy they had you, but on the other it hurt her heart and guilt consumed her for knowing that she was never really present in her children's life to the point where they had to turn to you for help.
She never knew when Bruno had told you that he didn't want to have his own family, that he was not interested in having a partner of any kind. She wasn't present when Pepa had run to you on the first day of her period, or in the long night talks about crushes when she met Félix. She didn't even know that Julieta liked women too.
Just a few months ago she had discovered that Pepa calmed down when she was caressed, that Bruno liked to play the guitar or that Julieta loved painting and that the beautiful pictures in your room were made by her. In truth, she didn't know her own children. But you did.
You had been with them on every step of the road, even when they took different paths, you had never let them be lost for a long time. A task that you later performed with the grandchildren as well. Isabela and Dolores had learned to walk with you, Luisa always looked up to you especially when she had a problem, Camilo told you the secrets that he could never tell his parents, Antonio still followed you around all day when he was feeling sad and Mirabel...for the girl you were the whole world. There was absolutely nothing that she didn't tell you.
You were the only other family member besides her grandmother who didn't have a gift, you understood what it was to grow up with magical siblings when there was nothing special in you, you understood the looks of people's judgment, murmurs and teasing. That was why you had made your special mission to make the girl protected from all that.
Little by little, you wove a warm blanket of love and humility, you taught her that she did not need to have a gift to be a light, to shine and be a source of comfort. Mirabel could be identical to Julieta in appearance, but she was definitely a coal copy of you in everything else.
It took her too long to realize it, but now Alma understood that the miracle, the magic, was not what united them, that it was only a feature that most of them shared and nothing else. The answer was you. Really, you were the angel who kept the family together.
...And that's why no one should mess with you, unless they wanted all of heaven's strength chasing them. Or that it was one of the triplets. 50 years and they had not yet learned not to make you angry? Or perhaps it was their way of getting your attention when they felt you were abandoning them for the grandchildren.
A silly thought perhaps, but children will always be children, and the age did not matter, they would always need even if it was just a hug from their mother. And you were definitely the triplets' mother, no matter how much it hurt her.
"What do you think happened?" Mirabel whispered, taking her out of her thoughts
"I don't know" Alma smiled "but it must have been bad if your mother is running too"
It was true. Of the three, Julieta was usually the one that was spared from your fury. It was no secret to anyone that she was your favorite sister/daughter/family/person, despite Pepa and Bruno's anger, who would always get offended when her sister avoided your scolding.
"What about Julieta?! She also helped with the joke!" they would said
"Maybe, but she looks cute doing it" you'd shrug "besides, who could be mad at this precious face?" You would add while taking your sister by the cheeks
Your younger siblings would cross their arms and looked at you with an annoyed pout while a black cloud hovered on the redhead, and Julieta simply let you use her cheeks as a squishy and fill her face with kisses (something she took from you and did with her niece, nephews and daughters too), while she smirked at them.
The only times she actually got scolded was when she wasn't taking care of her own health. So either Julieta just wanted to do exercise or whatever the hell they did was really stupid and dangerous.
"YOU'RE ALL SO GROUNDED!!" You growled when you managed to get to the first floor.
You cursed Casita for siding with the triplets and letting them run while it trapped you on the second floor, but that didn't mean they were safe. Nope, there was no escape.
"What happened, mija?" Alma asked you walking up to you
"Your mocosos share the same fried brain cell and unfortunately for them, it wasn't Julieta's turn to have It" you growled
Your mother laughed and rolled her eyes fondly. She knew that you loved your siblings more than anything and that any insult you might have for them would never come out of the heart, just from a motherly anger, and there was something she could think that this was about.
"Did they try to test Julieta's gift with poisoned food again?" She asked
"They tried to test my patience" you answered "they used arsenic, mom. ARSENIC!"
Okay, that was new. Alma felt bad for thinking it, but she could have expected something that stupid and irresponsible from Pepa and Bruno, but Julieta? She knew better than that, she wasn't a silly girl who didn't know what arsenic could do. She must have been really desperate to get your attention if she let her siblings drag her into that.
"How are they even alive?" She gasped
"Félix caught them before they could even finish the empanadas and ran to tell me" you sighed "and I'm glad he did"
"Of course, I don't want to thinking what could have happened to them"
"And because now I can kill them myself"
Alma looked at you for a moment. You were frowning and looked ready to hit whoever stood in front of you, but she was still your mother and she could see the fear in your eyes, and honestly, she felt it too. She followed your gaze to see her younger children still running and she made a note to scold them right after you.
You felt your mom's aura changing and knew she was on your side, so you smirked and took your sandal with a single move, your eyes never leaving your adorably stupid siblings.
"Who do you want me to hit?" You asked, just for fun
Alma thought about it for a second. Julieta would definitely get the worst scolding once they were back for letting the other two convince her to do something stupid, but you both knew it hadn't been her idea. It probably wasn't even Bruno's, but there was someone who had never feared death nor god.
"The middle one" she told you
You nodded and focused on your victim for a moment before your chance flew directly at her. Your smirk never left your face and grew even more when Pepa fell to the ground after it hit her right in the head. Bruno and Julieta didn't even look at their fallen sister, they just ran faster to save their lives.
"AND YOU BETTER BRING IT BACK TO ME, YOUNG LADY" You yelled at the redhead while the whole family laughed behind you.
These three would be the end of you one day, you were sure of that. But god knew you wouldn't have them any other way. Besides, they were your cute little babies, so you guessed that gave them some points too.

Headcanon: Felix and Pepa's History
It turns out I really like doing these, so I'm just going to keep doing them. Anyways, this is how I think Pepa and Felix got together.
Pepa had a crush on him when she was five and he was six, but he was much too busy doing important six year old things, like learning how to spell, for a relationship. So she moved on to crushing on Romeo Florez, who was the best tree climber in town.
Felix had a crush on her when he was thirteen and she was twelve, she would have happily gone out with him, but she was a bit distracted trying to figure out how to deal with the deadly combination of puberty and weather controlled by emotions to notice he was interested. He dated Helena Pezmuerto, whose newborn sister was already showing a strange fascination with fish, because his uncle told him the best way to get over somebody was to date someone new.
Pepa had a crush on him when she was sixteen and he was seventeen, but he was already dating Etta Guzman. She started dating Caesar Serrano a week before Felix and Etta broke up.
Felix had a crush on her when he was twenty and she was nineteen, but she had just gotten out of a bad break up and he didn't want to take advantage of her pain. Juan Garcia, on the other hand, had no problem swooping in while Pepa was vulnerable. Kicking himself for hesitating, Felix dated Helena again, although neither of them were really into it. They admitted to each other they weren't ever going to fall in love, but made the "If neither of us are married by the time we're thirty" pact.
Pepa had a crush on him when she was twenty two and he was twenty three, but he was doing this whole off and on thing with Helena and Pepa managed to convince herself that meant Helena and Felix were soulmates. She listlessly considered the other men around town and decided she was content to stay single for a while.
Felix had a crush on her when he was twenty four and she was twenty three, but she was convinced he was in love with Helena and didn't want to be his rebound. He promised he would prove to her he was not, in fact, in love with Helena.
They both stayed single for a couple years, and started hanging out more. She learned all about his likes and dislikes, he figured out all the best ways to calm down her bad moods.
They both stayed "single" for another year.
They went to a party in the town square and spent the whole night dancing "as friends". Alma, Julieta, and Bruno were ready to go home before Pepa was, so Alma got Felix to promise he would make sure Pepa got home safe and sound.
(Julieta and Alma were not actually ready to go home, but Alma was hoping a moonlit stroll would nudge things in the right direction, and Julieta was happy to play along. Bruno didn't realize there was a scheme afoot, he was genuinely ready to leave the second they got there.)
After spending who knows how long dancing, Felix and Pepa took a break for some water and a snack. Pepa got some crumbs on her lower lip and kept missing them when she tried wiping them away with her napkin. Eventually, Felix just rubbed the crumbs off with his thumb.
Pepa suddenly felt absolutely ridiculous for pretending they were just friends.
She kissed him, he kissed her back.
Instead of returning to the party she asked him to escort her home. By unspoken agreement they went the long way.
They walked slowly, hand in hand, and talked about things. Pepa told him about all the times she'd had crushes on him over the years, he laughed and told her about all the times he'd had crushes on her.
They reach Casita and Pepa asks him, "What happens next?"
He grins, mostly joking, but also completely serious, "Well, if we're just going to keep coming back to each other, maybe we should just get married."
Pepa needs a second to respond, aware of the fact that he's probably teasing, but holy shit does she want him to be serious. Meanwhile the sky above her head starts filling with rainbows, which are a bit faint in the darkness, but still visible thanks to the lights coming from Casita. Felix stares up at the rainbows as they multiply and start to overlap, then makes an executive decision and gets down on one knee.
He doesn't get a word out, Pepa throws her arms around him giggling and saying yes over and over. She accidentally knocks them both to the ground but that's fine by him.
They spend the night on a couch in Casita, planning their wedding and their lives together. When Julieta comes down in the morning to start cooking and finds them there, Pepa happily announces they're getting married.
Alma's door is promptly thrown open and Alma, dressed for the day but only halfway through putting her hair up, asks Pepa to repeat herself.
Pepa does so, clasping Felix's hand close and Alma gets all excited.
By the time Bruno comes down for breakfast, wedding planning is well underway. He makes brief eye contact with Julieta, silently asking what's going on, and Julieta hands him a cup of coffee and explains Pepa and Felix are now engaged. He sits in a corner, sips his coffee, and resists the urge to ask when they even started dating.
He reads up on wedding superstitions. He reads the one about rain on your wedding day being good luck and thinks "Oh, Pepa will like that one!"
He tries sharing it with her as he gets ready to walk her down the aisle, the plan was to say "Good news! It looks like rain on your wedding day is good luck, so you don't have to hold back the tears during your vows".
The bridal march starts up before he gets farther than "Good news! It looks like rain-."
Pepa takes it as teasing and sticks her tongue out at him before they start walking down the aisle, but now she's hyper focused on not making it rain.
We know how that turns out.
When the hurricane passes Pepa playfully smacks Bruno's arm and tells him he got in her head with his stupid joke. Bruno once again tries to explain it's good luck but Pepa and Felix get pulled away to do wedding reception stuff. Bruno shrugs it off, the newlyweds are both happy and he figures they don't need to know something is good luck in order for it to work.
None of them really think about that again until Bruno disappears and being angry at him for the dumb joke he made at her wedding is way easier for Pepa than missing him.
He finally gets to explain the superstition when he comes back and Felix laughs his ass off. He can't quite put into words what is so funny but he does sling an arm around Pepa and tells her "See, marrying you makes me a lucky man."
Bruno rolls his eyes and leaves them to be shmoopy at each other. Which they happily do. They are just as taken with each other at the ages of fifty and fifty one as they were at five, thirteen, sixteen, twenty, twenty two, and twenty four.
They would have had a fourth kid if Pepa hadn't hit menopause shortly after Antonio was born.

Happy Pride!
it's been a while since I've done a headcanons post so here's some of my own sexuality headcanons for some Royal Tutor characters that I've been thinking of sharing for a while
🌈👑🌈👑🌈👑🌈
❤️Licht❤️
Hetero or possibly comphet. He's always bragging about being popular with the ladies but as the series goes on there's really not much to back up this claim. I once saw a headcanon that he might have had a little bit of a crush on Maximilian from back when they were living in town. It's not a headcanon I share but I thought that was interesting
🧡Leonhard🧡
I don't know and he probably also doesn't know. Maybe he'll figure it out one day, but it's not important to him right now. He'll like who he likes, it doesn't matter as long as they get along and can have fun together. If I were to give a label I think aromantic pan demisexual could fit
💛Bruno💛
Similar to Leonhard, I don't know and I think he has not stopped to consider it because he's too occupied with other things. He'll probably like someone who shares his academic interests, and he probably thinks it's a given that he'd marry a princess for practical diplomatic reasons. I like the idea of him developing some sort of relationship with Smerdyakov but I'm not sure how old he is so I haven't given it much thought. I'm not sure if sapiosexual (or sapioromantic??) is an ok thing to call him, so if I were to give a label I like greyromantic demisexual
💚Kai💚
Aroace with strong aesthetic and sensual attraction to any gender. I'm not sure if this makes him very compatible with Beatrix's expectations (and I think she also might be comphet) but I think they would be quite understanding of each other and able to work something out
🩵Eins🩵 (WARNING spoilers for vol. 15!!)
I think he also hasn't given it much thought because he's always just assumed he would marry a princess and that's the set path for him in life. But Princess Matilda meant a lot to him after he got to know her, so I think he could be demi hetero
💙Ernst💙
Definitely definitely gay for Eins I could almost say this is canon and the tragedy is delicious
💜Herr Mitter-Meyer (aka Felix Sommer)💜
I find it funny to think what if he was straight and just has no time to date, but I also like to think that he and his bartender/manager friend Herman Koenig have something going on, and he did seem very focused on Viktor's looks the first time they met. Actually I have no headcanons for this I just wanted to put this here
🩷Viktor🩷
Biromantic and possibly also bisexual
♥️Heine♥️
Demiromantic gay ace (possibly greysexual) with strong aesthetic attraction regardless of gender. Maybe this isn't super related but I also headcanon that his favourite thing to read during his free time is girl-meets-guy romance novels varying from the cheesy type to Jane Austen. I also like the idea that he's trans but I'm not sure if I would call it a headcanon for me
👑🌈👑🌈👑🌈👑
These are just my headcanons for fiction, based on what I can remember about the characters right now and I feel like I've forgotten a lot, so they can change any time and for any reason, and also sometimes I have multiple different headcanons existing at the same time
I'm probably also projecting somewhat and I'm not super well versed in all the ways we can identify, so I'm curious to know if anyone else also shares these headcanons. I've seen some pretty nice ones out there, let me know what's yours!

I always like the idea of the unexpected happening. Everyone always has these MiraBruno stories where a great deal of the conflict is centered around people assuming Bruno must have groomed Mirabel or forced her in some way to be with him, but I find the opposite more gripping; what if most of the family saw it as Mirabel taking advantage of her socially inept, mentally unwell, feeble old uncle, maybe claiming she had ulterior motives for pursuing him (such as using him for his gift).
Take it a step further, how would those who blamed Bruno clash with those who blamed Mirabel? Who would side with who? Does it tear marriages apart? Pit siblings against each other? And if there are those who would support Mirabel and Bruno, would this family feud keep them silent?
Oh, very interesting! This is not a scenario I have ever considered. I guess I haven't viewed Bruno as overly vulnerable, and I really like to put him through more emotional torment than Mirabel. But this could work.
Because you're right. His isolation does make him emotionally vulnerable. He could easily fall into the category of being manipulated by the first person who gives him positive attention and care. And Mirabel still doesn't have a tangible gift, so I could see some family members making the argument that she is manipulating him so then she can have power over a gift.
I know I'm basically just rewording what you said here, but I think I need to really think about this before bringing anything new to this idea.
But, okay; this is interesting. Who would blame who? Off the top of my head, I think Alma might lean towards blaming Mirabel. After all, Mirabel not getting a gift is what caused Bruno to leave in the first place, and she later brought the house crashing down.
I could see Pepa also leaning towards blaming Mirabel. I have a headcanon that Bruno and Pepa were close as children. She goes in to hug him first at the end, and she's the one besides Alma who shows the most vitriol towards him when he is estranged. As they say, hate isn't the opposite of love. Even when he is estranged, she still feels a strong emotional connection to him, even if it is negative.
And Bruno is technically her younger brother. She might recall how emotionally vulnerable he was as a child. She might see how emotionally vulnerable he is now and feel some guilt over that. Yes. I'm more and more convinced that if anyone would be blaming Mirabel, it would be Pepa.
I'm not sure where Felix would land in all this. I think he'd want to back Pepa, but I also think this would be pretty conflicting for him.
I'd think Julieta and Augustin would blame Bruno. After all, Mirabel is their daughter. So that would create an interesting dynamic. The triplets would be completely splintered in this scenario. But you did bring up marriages...and I think Julieta could be pretty torn up about this. Hm. I think you could convince me either way on this one.
I'm having a harder time sorting out the grandchildren.
I'm still rather attached to my headcanon that Camilo doesn't trust Bruno and therefore would be on the side of "Bruno is a groomer." But that is totally a headcanon that isn't overly based in canon, so it can really go either way.
I still think Dolores is a neutral party in this. She would probably have the most objective view of their relationship, given her gift.
As usual, I don't have a ton of thoughts regarding Antonio. He's just too young in the film for me to have a clear indicator of which way he'd go. Though, Mirabel is his favorite cousin, so that might be worth something.
That leaves Luisa and Isabela. This is where I'm at a complete loss. I think that after all they went through in the movie ("It's a dream when we work as a team"), they'd probably blame Bruno more than anything.
But you could probably make the argument that Isabela is at least a little suspicious of Mirabel's motives. Given their interactions pre-"What Else Can I Do?" AH! I don't know. It physically pains me to even say that, but it is definitely an argument you could make.
As for Luisa, I love Luisa, and I want her to be on Mirabel's side. She's so protective over Mirabel in "Surface Pressure." I personally can't see her not taking Mirabel's side. And because I have such a soft spot for Luisa, I think I see her as one of the first people to be, at least secretly, supportive of Mirabel and Bruno. But I'm undecided on that part.
Plus, I think I'm open-minded enough that like Julieta, you could probably convince me either way for Isabela and/or Luisa.
Hmm. This is scenario introduces so many variables. I'm really going to have to think about this.
I am VERY interested to hear what your thoughts on the topic, if you are willing to share!
Very cool ask. Thank you!

Julieta and Agustín headcanons
So I wanted to write this sooner before I forget. (Not part of my encanto headcanon series since this one is only for both of them)
• They met as young adults since Agustín spent most of his life in the city
• It is already obvious they first met because of a bee sting
• Julieta healed him dozens of times and never got sick of him and slowly got interested in him
• As usual, they wanted to be friends first to get to know each other
• Just like Pepa, the Madrigal women always does what it takes to get what they want and Julieta lives by it too.
• Agustín can sometimes be a flirt and she secretly likes it
• Agustín made friends with Pepa to get some tips on how to ask Julieta out
• He tried to follow all her advices but ended up giving up because he is to nervous
• Julieta made the first move and asked him out because she saw some girls talking to him just because he is from the city
• Their first date was memorable (as usual) even though Agustín had some bee stings and injuries
• People in town sometimes criticize their relationship but they did not mind because they know they are the perfect match✨
• Sometimes the criticism is too much for Agustín to the point that he says that Julieta is better off if she broke up with him
• Julieta said to not mind about those because they just want what they have
• They dated for 4 years
• The day of their proposal, they both proposed to each other
• They were engaged a few days before Pepa and Felix's wedding day
• Pepa is jealous that their wedding day was better than hers because there was no hurricane occurring on that day
• Alma gave the blessing after Julieta said that he is more than just an accident prone man
• Agustín tried his best to impress Alma but they are not really having a good in-law relationship
• Agustín's family on the other hand adored Julieta
• They would sometimes go to the city to see his other family members
• Julieta does not like the city because it was too traffic, noisy, and the mountains of the Encanto were more peaceful. She sometimes wonders how people even sleep in those noise
• When Alma did not give her blessing, Agustín asked if they could just live with his family instead
• Julieta said that she would see who he is on the inside and that he was just misunderstood by her
• During Bruno's leave, Julieta told him that she should have listened to him and lived with his family in the first place
• But then he said that this all is just a misunderstanding
That's it! I hope you like it💟

Dweller AU | Bruno’s Escape
Tumblr media
Bruno picked at his plate, keeping a vague ear out on if his name was called but so far, the conversation between his sisters and mother had been about duty… or the boys that the two were trying to date.
Mama wasn’t fond of Julieta’s choices but Bruno had already done his work; to see if the guy was interested in Julieta for the convenience of her gift. Seeing a man dodge the plaza when Julieta was working her stall with a bee-swollen face had been somewhat entertaining and more so when Julieta noticed and ran after him with an Arepa until the guy tripped over his own foot and broke a rib. It sold it to him that he saw her more than just her gift if he avoided her on ‘mundane’ things as bee stings. Agustín went to her with breaks but he saw that as somewhat reasonable to visit in comparison.
Pepa was seeing a guy but Bruno knew that relationship wasn’t going to last; he didn’t need his gift for that but he had seen another guy, Felix, waiting for his opportunity. He seemed respectful so Bruno was more willing to see how his attempts would go without trying to creep the guy out.
“Bruno.”
He zoned back into reality swiftly at his mother’s words, his head turning automatically to meet her stern gaze.
“Si, mami?” He asked carefully.
“I heard today you gave a few visions today.”
Bruno’s nose wrinkled at the reminder but his shoulders sank “I know, Mami.”
“Is the woman’s death truly unavoidable?”
Both Pepa and Julieta paused in their plates before he felt their soft gaze.
“Nothing to be done.” He confirmed because… he hated those visions. He knew he gave bad visions but this was one of the worst; a death that couldn’t be changed.
Mami set down her cutlery thoughtfully, “Did your vision indicate when this accident will occur?”
Bruno shook his head. “No, but…my gut feels It’ll happen before the week is up.”
Mama nodded. “I’ll see that no one asks for visions for the next month,. An anticipated death will not look good, Bruno’”
His shoulders sunk but he nodded. Mami made sense and he could agree; it made him look very bad. He was already well aware people didn’t like his visions given it wasn’t showing them what they wanted. Who got blamed; him.
A slither of green ticked at his eyes, his vision swirling for a moment as the low ebs of an ache echoed.
“Bruno?” Julieta asked, her hand coming to his arm.
“Tomorrow night.” He blurted out.
“Wait you just said it was before this week is up!” Pepa pointed out.
“Not now, Pepa.” Mami spoke sharply, rising to her feet. “Julieta, why don’t you cook up some extra food? I’ll drop some off tomorrow morning so it seems like we’re trying. It may give Ava Lopez a chance if they already have food at hand.”
Bruno sunk lower into his seat, finishing off his plate quickly before they were dismissed and he took straight to his room.
Thankfully, the steps weren’t too long, or many but he had noticed the few extra every so often over the last 15 years since getting his room but he didn’t think it meant much; He hoped it stopped at some point; he’s hate to climb a whole room of steps for miles just to get to bed.
That said; it’d make it harder for his mother to vent at him for not accomplishing as much as his sisters if she had to go up the steps; the only silver lining.
Bruno dusted the sand from his feet before he happily slipped under the covers, though froze as he heard a squeak.
“Sorry, Chico.” He pulled the disgruntled rat away and settled him on his chest, letting him scuttle about before he slipped into the warm spots.
Tomorrow, a woman would die. Leaving three sons, two daughters without their mother and a husband without a wife. The husband, Adrian Lopez had only come for a vision about the upcoming birth of a grandchild…
Why did visions not go as planned? Why couldn’t the future be what it was wanted; sure the baby girl would be healthy and sure, the loss of Doña Lopez would be sad but which one was going to be remembered here?
Mama was smart; she knew this would back to bite him, after 15 years of it, how could she not know. But… she didn’t see it as he did or like how they saw it.
He was a messenger getting shot and she only wondered why he had the bad messages. Sooner or later, people were going to get worse if he kept giving those types of visions. He could feel it.
A soft knock pulled him from his mind. Bruno sat up, forgetting about Chico who squeaked once again in indignation as he was once again disturbed before he jumped from his bed and scurried away with his complaints.
“Bruno?”
He relaxed, swinging his legs back over the edge of the bed. “Come in, Juli.”
His sister’s face peeked around the door first before she entered.
“I’m sorry today didn’t go as planned,” Julieta said, coming to settle down. “Mama’s going make us all busy trying to help…”
“At least she knows in advance.” Bruno fidgeted, “I hate death visions.”
Julieta sighed, her arms wrapping around him. “Don’t worry. Stay inside. Me and Pepa can handle the crowd.”
“You shouldn’t have to.” He should be better at standing up for himself, he was a man; he could do that himself. But…. All he had was his sisters and mother. No father to look up to, no male role model. He was…just a sign of bad luck and he couldn’t shake that image no matter how many visions he tried. He should probably look into helping with that…salt was a good place to start.
“You’re my little brother.”
“We’re triplets.”
“If I remember correctly, I’m 27 minutes older than you.”
“Ugh.” He poked her stomach playfully, “will that Well ever dry up.”
“Nope.” Julieta laughed, “You’re stuck being the youngest forever!”
Bruno rolled his eyes. “Fine, rub it in. By the time you’re wrinkly old hags, you won’t be rubbing it in because… I’ll be fresh as a daisy and you’ll be jealous. ”
Julieta flicked him on the ear, “Tomorrow breakfast, I’ll make something special.”
Bruno perked up. “Yes please.” Some joy in the bleakness waiting for him tomorrow would be good.
Julieta’s face remained bright for a moment, “I have to go now. I’ll cook some more food in case you get hungry in the night, I doubt Mami would want you sneaking what’s for the Lopezs. I saw you picking more than eating.” She gave him a stern look, rising off the bed fluidly
Bruno smiled, giving a nod and soon he was left alone. Much more alone now Chico had deserted him.
  -
Green filled his vision, waking him from slumber sharply as his heart raced and adrenaline coursed through his veins but he couldn't move, transfixed; the sand around him swirling and he couldn't fight the images that plagued his mind.
Bruno grunted, struggling in the grip of a man that had him in a headlock, dragging him through the outline of trees.
Away from Casita; his home flickering in changing of images that indicated distance before the treeline concealed it away; dragged closer and closer towards a large tree; a noose hanging ready…
“No”
“You got our mother killed, this had gone far enough! We won’t let you kill anyone else!”
“I didn’t—“
The vision ended, the sound of glass breaking echoed but a new vision hit just as quickly.
Bruno was sat, huddled with his mother and sisters; Casita’s walls shut and hostile; her tiles rapidly moving to deflect the outburst of thrown bottles; one lit with flaming material.
The next flicker showed Casita burning under a clear sky. Tiles rippling, trying to fend off the group forcing their way inside, stepping over Pepa’s still form.
“Bruno!” His mother was helpless as he was dragged from her side. A gun held to her face; keeping her there was she held onto Julieta’s wounds. Agustín dead at her side; having shielded his date-to-be from the worst of it.
“Mama!”
Then it cut off.
Glass breaking as he once again failed to catch the vision.
Then a third; more painful but different.
Bruno was hurriedly filling his bags with clothes, Personal items and raiding Julieta’s kitchen. A donkey outside, he loaded it up swiftly. Bruno was standing in front of his mother’s window, staring at the candle, reaching out in hope.
The candlelight flickered and grew. Then Casita shuddered. A hole opened up further away from Casita.
Bruno walked along down the street, waving once at a townsperson as they closed up for the night.
Underground now, Bruno was surprised to see a grand opening to a deeper cave system. Water rushing through…a bedroom; a field of wheat, the outlines of others…
Hope.
Bruno gasped as he was finally released, barely catching the last tablet that formed but he didn’t bother looking; he damn well knew which future he intended to take. He tossed it off the side of the bed, untangling his body from the covers.
His heart thumped and he could feel the fear in his chest. He couldn’t stay here. If he stayed, he’d die. If he hid, he’d be found; his sister would be killed… Julieta would be hurt. They didn’t deserved that. Mami didn’t deserve to see him dragged away to his death. It had been 20 years since she saw his Papi die; he couldn’t do that to her.
No.
He sucked in a heavy breath; trying to dampen down the beat of his heart; to think. Rushing off wouldn’t help him. Not… not yet. He had time. The other two visions.. that wasn’t tomorrow. But it would be soon if… if he didn’t leave. Where was he leaving to?
Bruno’s hand shook, clenching them tightly into his night-shirt before he turned his gaze to the images on the floor.
The broken image of being dragged to the noose, the broken image of behind dragged from his mother’s side, the broken image of him with the loaded donkey in the pitch of darkness; a lantern in one hand.
A lump formed in his throat, forcing him to take measured breaths. The idea of leaving his siblings…his family…His home. It ached at his heart. He didn’t want to go…
He slipped his feet back into his sandals, burying his face into his hands before he found his palms wet and his breath becoming ragged.
“¡Mierda!” He roared, his palms muffling the pain in his voice.
   -
His heart thudded in his chest as he clambered up onto the roof. His mother’s shutters were open; the candle was on display like it usually was. Carefully, he straightened up, staring for a moment at the tinkling magical specks that drifted from its wick.
On the inside, he could see his mother asleep on the bed, curled up but otherwise deep asleep with a slight frown on her features but looked otherwise peaceful. It tugged at his heart; this would be the last time he’d be seeing her. At least, he’d have a pleasant memory; they didn’t depart on bad terms. It would be easier on her too.
Bruno took a deep breath, turning his gaze back to the candle. A candle that granted his mother a miracle; he needed one now. He reached forwards placing his hands against its warm body as he had done 15 years ago.  Its warmth spread through his body and it almost felt soothing; pressing away some of his fear.
I need a refuge to escape from those out to hurt us. He begged, not willing to speak aloud and wake his mother, I need a place to protect me and others that are at risk. Encanto it not safe. We are not safe. He wasn’t sure if the magic could respond, green flickers echoed for a moment through his mind before he felt the whole casita give a shudder.
Bruno let go and dropped out of sight as his mother’s breath caught, the sound of her waking. Casita groaned and he jumped off the edge of the roof; Casita’s bannisters caught him before he ducked to his door frame and stopped.
Soon, the Casita’s shudders stopped and fell still.
Bruno stayed in place for a good five minutes before he felt safe to move, poking his head out to see the candle moved and the shutters to his mother’s room shut.
A close call.
He swallowed thickly. A few tiles under him wiggled. He looked down, seeing the ripple of tiles guesting him away, he followed until he got to the doors then the tiles along the roof edged him onwards outwards and along.
He followed again until he found himself staring at an opening in the ground beside his tower; the one he saw in the vision. It would lead him down; refuge.
“Thank you, Casita.” He whispered, “Give me ten minutes.”
   -
With a newly stolen donkey, Bruno pulled her along, his back on her back and walking down the centre of the road, he gave a few nods and waves to the lingering few still out and prepping for bed.
Good. He was seen to be leaving. It made sense to why; if he just ‘disappeared’ it’d look to the assailants like he’d be hiding in Casita. He had to be seen leaving to convince them he was truly gone. It was solid; no one would think to question it anymore. The family would react accordingly; believable.
They’d be fine.
He paused as he entered a deserted area, taking the long route back up towards Casita before he had to tug the reins to get the donkey to go down the opening but after they crossed the threshold, it began to close up behind them.
Safe.
Hidden.
Bruno could live with that.

Pirate au Character focus: Pepa Madrigal
- Captain of the Casita, and leader of the Madrigals.
- Has more control over her powers than her canon counterpart. More doesn't mean perfect control, but she can direct large swathes of weather when she's concentrating, and push away small clouds without having to rely on 'clear skies'. This is mostly due to having more cause to utilise her powers instead of being stuck with them, and as such Pepa's confidence is much greater too.
- Pepa had always been favoured by Alma. Having control of the weather with a ship based life was hugely powerful, and Alma ensured Pepa was always learning the most about running a ship (starting on how not to damage the ship with her storms). Pepa in her own right has also always been a mama's child, staying closer to her than the other two, which made the breaking of their relationship even more hard for them. Pepa may not have been the older sibling, but she was always the one primed for captaincy (it was decided Julieta's gift was far to useful to risk her as much. also she would have much less time to devote to ships business with the need to cook as well. Bruno was considered lazy (more chilled out/introverted and needed more rest than the others due to his visions), and showed no interest in leading)
- Pepa took over as captain from her ma whilst in her twenties, leading the other two in stealing the casita away when Alma retired. Everyone knows that story, and that the command of the ship changed, but there is obvious and continued bad blood between Alma and her daughter. Their present relationship is strained, or nonexistent. Most people can tell that something serious went down between them, but no-one knows exactly what, and the triplets remain tight-lipped about the details. There are some rumors that Alma disapproved of her daughter's relationship with a merman, but it's hard to judge that aspect of it because Pepa's (and thus Felix's) physical and emotional distance doesn't help with building a familiarity or rapport (these are mostly rumors).
- Pepa is fiercely protective of her family, almost to a fault. Numerous incidents have drawn Pepa to keeping her family close, almost leaving them stuck on the ship with her. Not everybody is happy with that, but they have all been instilled with a strong sense of duty and obligation to stay and use their gifts to help. There is also a little bit of fear in the mix, because even though she wouldn't deliberately terrorise her family, Pepa is a pretty scary and terrifying person at times. She will certainly give no quarter in dealing with those who mean her family harm, and has gained a fearsome reputation for that in addition to her prowess on the seas. She may have lightning and weather on her side, but she also prefers to get 'hands on' at times. A punch can convey a lot more than an otherwise random bolt of lightning.
- Pepa is smart, and cunning in her own right in planning how to protect and bolster the Casita's resources so they can all have the most comfortable life. She also knows how to utilise her families gifts and natural abilities- she draws her brother into planning routes and charting weather courses not just because of his access to visions, but because he can understand the weather interactions better than her. But the pressures of running the ship have pushed Pepa to almost reducing her family to their gifts and what they can do for the ship. She is often blind to their own needs and desires, too focused on preserving what they have. (Pepa is the equivalent of canon Abuela in this au)
- Pepa loves all of the family, but is biased towards favouring her own side of the family, and her closer family members, even though it's more of a subconscious thing than an active attempt to elevate them. It'd be small things, like prompting Julieta to take one of her own daughters with her on a mission, even though Dolores would be the best choice. Pepa is very good at finding reasons to justify her choices like that, but the end effect is the cool colours getting more work, and the warm colours kids getting more bored/at a loose end. Agustín, Mirabel, and, surprisingly, Dolores are all very aware of this discrepancy in treatment. Isabela knows it too, but only in the context of having to keep up with Dolores, who has to do a lot less to get the same sort of attention and praise. On all fronts, Pepa is too embedded in her ways to address this behaviour, so they put up with it.
- Pepa is still firmly entwined with her emotions, has her canon counterpart's love of music and dancing, (and Félix). She also loves sailing, and being out on the sea, and would do anything to live her life on the waves.

Just want to talk about Agustín and Bruno because they probably had an epic bro relationship before Bruno left.
The biggest implication for this is the scene when Agustín finds Mirabel with the jade square. The way Agustín reacts implies that he’s also clearly familiar with Bruno’s bad reputation and knows how the rest of the family, especially Abuela, will react to the square. But there’s no evidence that he ever treated or viewed Bruno according to that bad reputation - instead, when Agustín shows up to help set the table in We Don’t Talk About Bruno, he’s the only one who doesn’t join in on the singing. He was probably one of the few people who recognized that Bruno didn’t cause bad things to happen; Bruno just happened to see a lot of bad things.
Bruno and Agustín also share a lot of similar traits. They’re both somewhat clumsy/uncoordinated, have bad things consistently happen to them (Agustín, physically; Bruno, reputation-wise), and are very caring and protective about those they love.
He felt close enough to Bruno to include himself in the triplet hug when Bruno returns. It’s possible that Bruno and Agustín spent a lot of time together, especially if Bruno hung around Julieta when he wasn’t hidden away in his vision cave and when Julieta was home.

Would you be able to do a polyam ship between Papa, Felix and the Reader? Just like a bunch of head canon, Sorry if that's out of your comfort zone.
This request is quite interesting! Thanks for asking! I’ll totally do it! And don’t worry about it being out of my comfort zone! I did he/him pronouns for the reader, I hope that’s okay!
•Both [Name] and Felix were married into the family
•It was confusing to Abuela when Pepa brought home two men but she got used to it eventually
•The children love having two dads! Especially since they both are such a comedic relief!
•Julieta and Agustin both love that Pepa ended up being so open minded and did a polyamory relationship
•The we don’t talk about Bruno song but [Name] is included
•Pepa ranting about Bruno during the song while Felix and [Name] are dancing with each other in the background, just laughing along and adding sound effects, not taking the song seriously which gets Pepa frustrated!
•”It was our wedding day!” [Name] sang as he was dancing with Pepa
•”No clouds allowed in the sky!” Felix stole [Name] away
•”Bruno walks in with a mischievous grin!”
•”Thunder!” The husbands roared
•”You telling this story or am I?”
•”Im sorry, mi vida, go on!” [Name] kissed Pepa’s cheek and continued to dance with Felix
•[Name] doesn’t have a gift, just pure luck
•Never stubbed his toe once
•Never got a paper cut
•Never stuttered over his words
•Felix and Pepa are envious of that
•Whenever Pepa gets too crazy, [Name]’s famous tea is always calming her down
•”[Name], mi amor!”
•”Sí, Felix?”
•”Bring the tea! It’s urgent”
•Pepa doesn’t know what it is, but his tea always calms her down, “Thank you, mi vida”
•Always fanning Pepa with Felix
•Bringing her [Name]’s coat when she’s snowing
•Keeping a spare umbrella when she’s drizzling, Bruno tells him that opening umbrella inside is bad luck
•Cooking with Julieta
•Playing Go-Fish with Felix, Agustin and Bruno
•[Name]’s luck comes into play and he wins
•Every.
•Single.
•Time.
•They also play poker and get black out drunk except for [Name] since he keeps everyone in line
•[Name] never had any biological children since 3 was enough but the kids love him as much as he loves him
•Reads Antonio to sleep
•Invented these special noise cancelling earbuds for Delores
•Pulls pranks with Camilo
•One time, [Name] had woke up on the wrong side of the bed
•Literally
•He woke up on the floor
•So he was in a bad mood all day
•Then, the power of his luck
•He found a 100$ bill
•Money can buy happiness
I’ll do another one of this if this gets the right attention! Thanks for asking!

No but like, if they ever make the Encanto series they really need to explore more about Camilo and his own issues, very heavily (they need to compensate the lack of his character in the movie alright I dont make the rules)
And I think the best way to do it is by having him go through the transition of the new family dynamic after the movie and not knowing how to deal with it. (Yes the shapeshifter has trouble adapting to new stuff fight me)
He was always the smooth, relaxed, rebelious funny guy of the family Madrigal, and knew exactly how to imitate and copy everyone around him. He was the perfect chameleon ready to lighten the mood.
But now, everyone's personalities have shifted a lot, and he doesn’t know how to mimic them like before.
Luisa now relaxes a lot more, even goes to play and talk with the children of the village and making friends her age too. Isabela is now the rebellious of the family and goes around no longer as a model of perfection, but just as an adventurer ready to learn what many other plants could she create.
Dolores no longer feels pressured to be the one listening to all of the people's troubles and struggles, she can now focus on herself and on her new relationship with Mariano; she doesn’t really pays attention and just talks really smoothly and passionate with her amorcito. Mirabel went from outcast to towns favorite really quick, teaching them how to fix dresses and ruanas, how to make plushies and so on, she is now the beacon of the fun times for everyone.
Julieta and Pepa are more vocal now about their own emotions. Julieta now leaves the cooking to Agustín and then she adds the magical touch. Pepa's storms are actually manageable since she doesn’t bottle up her emotions anymore (Felix couldn't be more delighted about his love's new freedom).
Tío Bruno went from mysterious and terrifing to actual sweetheart, and its a whole new person Camilo hasn't seen enough about to actually know him.
He isn't the true copycat of anyone. everyone changed so quickly that everything he learned about their mannerisms and personalities doesn’t matter anymore.
Neither he is the most relaxed, the most rebellious, the smoothest or the funniest of the family Madrigal.
What exactly is he now?
Has he spend so much time learning about others interests and clicks, that he totally forgot to find his own unique self?
(If anyone has a fanfic about this or wants to write it Im begging send it straight to me so I can get some of that fan content por favor)

•This lovely moment of his life take place after the movie, now he was with the family again, he was happy again, but something was missing.
•He was looking Pepa and Julieta and realize that they have a beautiful "familia", but more important they find true love, with Felix and Agustin.
•For that reason he started think that it was too late for him, like he never gonna find someone special. But that was until he meet you.
•You are Mariano's cousin and you are new on the town when you start living with Mariano and his Mother. The Madrigals made a beautiful dinner to celebrate the relationship between Dolores and Mariano.
• He saw you and almost fainted, he wasn't the most social guy, but he never saw somebody so beautiful as you.
—Oh, you must be Bruno, Dolores talk me about you, im Y/N, ¡your powers are awesome! In fact, all here its awesome, people its so kind, ¡oh, and you family and your casita its so cute!
He just lost in your eyes
—I..im..Bru..Bruno..
—Tio, she already know that...—say Camilo
• He though that he probably just think you are cute. But i wasn't just that.
•You started a beautiful friendship with Dolores and Camilo, so you started to go so often to the house of Madrigal.
• You are always helping others, like if you are one more on the family. Also you were so kind with everyone, and so funny.
•That make you also started talking so much with Bruno, and spend time with him and the rats. You think that he's sweet, and a cute man who could be really interest.
•He show you everything on his tower, and the rats love you so much.
•But he wasn't sure about show you a prediction or something even when you tell that the predictions wasn't a problem to you.
• —Bruno, are you listen me?—you ask, you two are on his tower just talking about life.
He blush
—Yeah,yeah...sorry, im was just looking you..you are so bonita.
Now you are blush
—Rea...really?
Then he just realize what he say.
—I MEAN...¡NO! I DIDN'T MEAN THAT..I MEAN, IM NOT SAYING THAT YOU ARE UGLY, YOU ARE SO PRETTY ACTUALLY BUT...BUT..
You laugh, he was so cute.
He saw you laughing, and he almost have a heart attack, he just feel how his heart almost explode.
•And in that moment was when he realize that he fall in love with you.
—¡WHAT IM GONNA DO! SHE' SO MUCH YOUNG, AND I IM JUST THE CRAZY OF THE PREDICTIONS WITH THE RATAS, OH MY GOD
The rats look at him very confused.
And Dolores hear that very clear from the kitchen.
—Uncle Bruno its in love with Y/N!—she say and Mariano look at her very confused.
—Yeah?...well in that case they have to marry !
—Mariano,amor...that's i doesn't how a relationship work...
•He's gonna started be more nervous around you, blushing a lot when he's talking with you.
•If you say him a compliment he's gonna melt, will start to stutter.
—You look so cute when you smile
And Bruno look just like a tomatoe
—Uncle Bruno, why are you so red? You have fever? Maybe you need one of the amazing Arepas con Queso of Aunt Julieta...—says Antonio very inocent.
•And one day he just can't pretend anymore that he's not in love with you. That he's heart star beating so fast and his eyes sparkling so much when he's looking at you.
•Then he started to ignore you, just a little because he was scared, he was in love and you are so cute, so beautiful so brilliant and so young and he..he was shy, ugly, clumsy.
You already notice that something its wrong
—Sorry, Camilo you know where is Bruno?
—Oh, your boyfriend? Yeah, he is on his tower.
—What?
—Oh, don't tell me that you don't notice that he is loquito por ti...—he look at Dolores who has next to you
—Im a grave—She say making a move with his hand on his mouth, like if she closed a zipper— ¡hm!—and then she go away with his brother.
• —Bruno?—you ask very gentle and he scream
—¡T/N!—He look nervous and he was, because now he knows about his feeling for you and being in love its never easy.— i was about to leave right now, you know im very bussy, ¡Im Hernando and i need to do a lot work—he say putting the hood of his poncho on his head.
—Bruno...
—IM JORGE, AND IM GONNA HELP HERNANDO WITH WORK—Now he have a bucket on his head.
—¡BRUNO!—You scream—so..sorry..i just want to talk—you say now gentle while you take off the bucket and puting on the floor.
—Yeah...you..you are right, we need to talk, dulzura...
You two sit, in front of each other on a couch that Bruno put on the tower now that he was back.
—Bruno...why are you ignoring me? Di..did i something wrong? Or...
—¡No!—he say taking you hands—¡No! I...i..im who is doing something wrong ignoring you...i think that im just...afraid..afraid of what im feeling..
You heart started beating fast.
Could be posible?
—Bruno...—you started saying— Dolores told me that...after he and my cousin started on a relationship, when he's gonna marry with Isabela, she was totally in love with him, even if he's were to be the husband of Isabella and he was interested on her...she was in love with Mariano...—you got up and he did it too, but without separating his hand from eachother— why im trying to say, its that...you can't choose for who you fall in love with...you..understand?
He look at you, you can see a little bit of fear on his eyes. He was afraid of loving you because he spent a lot of his live being "the black sheep", being judge for people about his powers and being feared for others. But now he have the love of his family and more important, now he was in love with you.
—Yeah...i just im afraid and..you are so cute and...—you interrumpted hin with a big hug, hiding your face on his neck, he put on of his hands on your back, tracing shapes with his fingers and with the other on your hips.
You two slowly parted.
—Do you want to go to the town...? Maybe we can...just walk...
—¡Yeah!—He reply with a smile— that would be fantastic...
—Fine..lets g...
And suddenly, Casita move the floor, pushing Bruno and making that you two kiss each other.
He was blush, you are blush and the rats were very happy, jumping and doing a little dance of celebration. He though for a second that you're gonna refuse the kiss, but no, you just put your arms around his neck and he on your hips.
It was a short kiss but very important.
•And after that, all the insecurities just go away, he never though that you feel the same. And of course, there's a age gap between you two, but that doesn't care you, you are in love with bruno and he was in love with you.
•Now, the loco of the rats, have someone on his heart, and its gonna protect and love you for the rest of his life.

Tumblr media
—S..Si..tienes razon, debemos hablar, dulzura...
Tu corazón comenzo a latir fuerte

ENCANTO: SPOILER EDITION
Be prepared!
Took me long enough, right? But, now that it’s on Disney+, I feel it’s time to finally get around to going into more details...under the cut!
-This movie feels...so different from any animated Disney movie I’ve ever seen. A good deal of this comes from the family dynamics. The closest example of such unconventional dynamics I can surmise is Lilo and Stitch (2002), but it is so much more in the spotlight here. The conflict doesn’t come from any tangible, full on antagonist, but from displacement, generational trauma, and a lack of healthy communication between . Despite all of this, it’s obvious this there is a lot of love and affection in this family!
- The character design is one of the biggest reasons I was drawn to it in the first place: From skin tones to body types, the family Madrigal is a diverse bunch! Good job, Disney!
-Lin Manuel Miranda does it again: All of the songs slap! ALL OF THEM!  My favorites are “Surface Pressure” (An absolute bop in which Mirabel’s sister, Luisa, opens up about the ‘pressure’ to appear ‘strong,’ both physically and emotionally), “What Else Can I Do (Mirabel’s annoyingly perfect sister, Isabela, finally lets loose (with Mirabel’s encouragement...can I just say Diane Guerrero is absolutely *ahem* PERFECT as Isa?!), and “Dos Oruguitas,” one of two songs not sung by any characters, where Abuela Alma and Abuelo Pedro’s relationship is played out in the emotional climax of the movie.
- Mirabel is more than an ‘OhSo QuIrKy UwU” protagonist.  The difference is that she is up front about the fact that she doesn’t quite fit into her family.  Her feelings are genuine, from her optimism, to her love of her family, to her desire to be not special, but helpful; as Bruno says, she is “just what this family needs.” Also, thank you for giving us a bespectacled heroine, Disney!
- Speaking of, LET’S TALK ABOUT BRUNO-NO-NO-NO-NO-*shot* ..sorry...anywho...Bruno is a quirky recluse, but not in an obnoxious way.  He obviously loves his family, but his gift serves as a double-edged sword, thus causing him to become misunderstood, even feared at times.  So, it makes sense that Mirabel connects with him.
“I don’t think [your gift is] bad. Sometimes, the family weirdo gets a bad rap.”
-I like that Alma is not the villain of this story, but made complex due to trauma and the determination to protect her family.  I guess when you are so focused on keeping your family safe for so long, you become cold and stern out of necessity (The issues between the grown-ups might have been wrapped up rather briskly for this kind of thing, but with a 90-minute movie, that’s par for the course. I choose to believe over the course of rebuilding their casita, they were able to talk...like, really talk).
-My animation instructor at Exceptional Minds explained an interesting layer about a caterpillar’s metamorphosis: it has to literally break down its body and reform as a butterfly. “Dos Oruguitas” is about two caterpillars in love that must separate to form into butterflies. Therefore, Casita’s foundation, the literal and figurative foundation of the Family Madrigal, must break down in order to reform...That’s deep, y’all! DEEP!
-Some thoughts about the characters:
- Luisa: MY BELOVED! That is all.
-Isabela: Her arc is just beautiful! I love  her willingness to experiment further with her gift.
- Pepa and Felix: I love this dynamic! Pepa is a bundle of nerves. Felix is the life of the party, and together they are like Peanut Butter and Chocolate)
- Dolores: aka Breakout Character of 2021! An inversion of a gossip: quiet and sweet, but can’t keep all she hears to herself...just too much! Poor girl!
- Camilo: Such a theater kid (also accurate depiction of a 15-year-old-boy...trust me...I’ve had teenage boy cousins)
- Antonio: Cinnamon roll. That is all.
- Julieta and Augustin: Standout parents! Despite Alma’s iron grip on her granddaughters, they are not afraid to stick up for their girls (Also nice to hear Wilmer Valderrama in anything ever)
- Mariano: aka Señor Himbo (no one has Might Guy beat for me, but y’know...) He is genuinely sweet and romantic, and not just in it for the privilege of becoming a Madrigal. And you know what? Thank GOODNESS. I was so dreading that we’d have another Hans on our...um, hands.  But this is so much better!
If you have a chance to check out this movie, DO IT!

How the slashers would react to watching Encanto.
this is my first time writing a out them so sorry if it sucks lol
Characters: Michael Meyers, Jason Vorhees, Chucky, Tiffany
Tumblr media
Some of them are out of character.
Michael Meyers:
-i feel like he wouldn't care in the begging and he would pretend he doesn't want to be there but really appreciate it that you want to have quality time with him.
-once he sees it's a cartoon he would huff and try to get up and walk away, you ofc wouldn't let that happen tho. bc you would nag him and whine to him about watching it.
-ofc he gives in to shut you up, once he hears the music he will lightly groan in annoyance, but would watch anyway bc he already did his duties today.
-once it gets to the best parts he will get more interested, he won't show it but internally he is at the edge of his seat bitting his lip waiting for what's next.
-he feel sympathetic for Mirabel, growing up Michael didn't have anyone and was left out a lot. and seeing it happen to Mirabel it brings back memories of it all, and it leaves him feeling somewhat better that he wasn't the only one who went through it.
^^^even if it was a cartoon.
-he HATES Abuela and is irritated by her, he thinks that she is a hypocrite bc she doesn't even have magic so she shouldn't be rude to Mirabel.
-he loves Bruno and thinks he's funny when Hernando and Jorge came up. he huffed at the jokes but tried not to show any amusement. (his heart panged a little at the plate scene)
-he thinks Antonio is adorable and loves how fluffy his hair is, he also thinks that Pepa and Felix relationship is comforting.
-over all he liked the movie and would watch it again but ofc you would never know and don't even mention him liking it bc he would walk out the house.
-9/10 just bc he is angry at Abuela but most of the part he's ok.
Jason Vorhees
-this baby boy would watch anything with you doesn't matter (as long as he's not busy)
-but knowing him he would drop everything just to watch it with you.
-he sits down on his makeshift recliner and pulls you in his lap. as you watch it he's interested in all the colors and different people.
-he loves the music he will tap his fingers on your arm and wiggle his foot to the best. (his favorite song is "Family Madrigal" in the beginning)
-he doesn't like Abuela bc it reminds him of the kids when he was younger and sympathies with Mirabel bc he was the "outcast" and Mirabel was the "outcast" as well.
-he loves Bruno, he thinks he's funny and he will giggle at Hernando and Jorge. he thinks the rats are cute. (he teard up at the plate scene)
-he wants a little kid like Antonio, he thinks he's the cutest little kid ever. Pepa and Feliz relationship is someone he wants to have with you❤️.
-in the end he loved the movie so much and 100% would watch it again and again. he loves the music too. whenever he's doing his woods duties he would hum the song. and bop his head a little bit.❤️❤️
-10/10 he loves it so much and it's his new comfort movie.
Chucky
-he would throw a whole fit if you try and make him watcha cartoon. I mean curse words and f-bombs getting thrown left and right.
-he may not show it but he's a big softy for you, so when he walks out the room but sences he made you sad he will com back in and sit next to you.
-"I'm here now so hurry up and play the damn movie already." (Chucky rn 'me as an empathy sences you are sad')
-he doesn't like the music or the colors. he complains about getting a headache and won't shut up about how dumb it is.
-"ughhh doll can't we watch something else it's to childish", "I swear I'm going to get a headache" or "just stop being a bitch and blow out the candle already🙄"
-in the end he's drooling asleep, don't ask him nothing he doesn't like the movie fell asleep like 20 minutes in.
-he tried to stay awake but couldn't it wasn't his cup of tea. don't reccomend watching anything that isn't horror.
-1/10 don't reccomend, waste of time, annoying and all but he tried I mean at least he stayed in the same room as you 🙂
Tiffany
-she was so happy when you asked if she wanted to watch a movie with you. she sat right next to you and y'all cuddled🥰
-she loves the music and colors, she will wiggle her hips to the beat and smile. she also comments here and there about Antonio and about Julieta and Augustine's relationship.
-she HATES Abuela and I mean with a passion, Everytime she came on the tv Tiff would glare and HARD at the tv. (if looks could kill the tv would be up in flames)
-she just wants to squish Antonio's cheecks she loves him🥰. Julieta and Augustine's relationship is top tier to her. (she wants that domesticated relationship)
-she finds Bruno funny, she giggle and kinda pitys him. she feels bad that he was treated that way. Hernando and Jorge are definitely funny to her. (the plate seen had her in tears)
-10/10 really relaxing and therapeutic for you both. you guys now have movie night every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. on those days you watch Disney.❤️❤️

If your requests are open, can I please request a yandere Pepa imagine/hc list for a jealous Pepa seeing reader be friendly to someone in the village and deciding to punish both of them? Can’t get enough of obsessed dangerous Pepa! :3
So I'm not sure if you wanted either a platonic or romantic Pepa soooooo I made both but I hope you enjoy
Romantic: In this, the reader is the same age as Pepa, you both grew together in Encanto and while everyone had thought you would not get along due to how contrasting your personalities were, you got along incredibly well, while you had always been reserved with your emotions, the way that Pepa was so open with them helped you come out of your little shell, that is until Pepa got her gift and had to start controlling her emotions and hiding them away, so it was your turn to help her, this dynamic made you closer as the years passed and made you both rely on each other in some kind of way.
You both became incredibly possessive of each other, one couldn't talk to anyone with the other, especially strangers, who knows what they wanted from you of her, you honestly could never take it when she entered in a relationship with some new guy, and you had to admit it irked you that any time you got any kind of interest towards someone she would not only give you the silent treatment and get angry at you as you had betrayed her until you apologized and cut off any communication with the person, all while she went in and out of so many relationships, but of course, you didn't sit still during those relationships, you were the main reason most if not all of those relationships failed and when Pepa came running back crying, you would receive her with open arms.
But there were punishments, many, when you "betrayed her" and she was in a previously bad mood, she would stop seeing you altogether knowing that this was torture for you and even if you didn't know her entering so many relationships was another kind of punishment, although if she could get away with it she would give you some bad food to sicken you.
As for you, you would always console her after another relationship burned down at your hand, but you would also begin to tell her how it was all her fault, how only you could tolerate her, and stuff of that nature which if it wouldn't bother that many others, it was as if stabbing her in the stomach multiple times, and you would threaten her with the fact that one day you won't tolerate her anymore.
This became a routine for the both of you until a certain young man came to Encanto and managed to unintentionally charm both you and Pepa, he never even mentioned Pepa's cloud or anything and he never pushed you or demanded brode shows of emotion that so many even your family demanded of you, one night you and Pepa began talking about this charming young man and the way that you both not only thought that he would be good for each other, but to the both of you, the mere thought of him going away or ending with someone else was unbearable, but it is easily fixable.
Felix Madrigal, it has quite the ring to it, he will fit in just wonderfully.
Platonic as friends/siblings: For this part, I decided that Pepa will be younger than the reader by like three years, so you will have met little Pepa since she was a tiny little baby and due to both Alma and your mom being friends, you were both raised not only together but you would take an older sibling role for not only her but Bruno and Julieta too, but even so Pepa had always been attached to your hip to the point where you would have to ask Alma for help since you still had to get home.
You helped her when she started any relationship and was always supportive even if you thought the guy was a jackass, if only this behavior had been reciprocated, any time you began any kind of romantic relationship Pepa would throw tantrums and go as far as dirtying the person's image for you to stay away from them, even your friendships were not safe from her jealousy since she would take as much time as you had, making it hard for you to have any kind of social life, and even if you tried to explain to her that you would never leave her or even tried to set boundaries she would guilt-trip you like there was no tomorrow until you thought you were the bad guy of the situation.
Her punishments wouldn't be many, since you were her big sibling and she didn't want to hurt you, but breaking your things was another story, she once even teared the skirt that your late granma had gifted you for getting a bit to close to a guy and for trying to distance yourself form her.
You are HER big sibling and NO ONE is ever going to take you away from her, no matter what.
Platonic as mother figure: She met you when you had been playing with Camilo and she immediately fell in love with the brightly smiling child that you were, of course, she didn't snap for a big chunk of your life, but even then there had been small glimpses of not only a sort of obsession and overprotectiveness but also she slowly became very controlling of what you did, she always thought that a child should enjoy their youth and explore their surroundings, but she didn't want to see you hurt EVER, so the fact that you were not only prone to small accidents since you were always looking around for adventure, you loved flying away from the safety of her arms so much, she almost felt you were actively searching for danger, and the fact that one of your friends encourages you doesn't help, she will make you stop seeing that friend altogether and give you something that will sicken you and made you bedridden so that she can take care of you.
This won't do, even if she loves you curiosity for everything, you need her to keep you from danger, so she will, even if that means having to cut your wings, it is for your safety, can't you see that this is only because she loves you?

You Are The Prototype (100 Follower Celebration Fluff - Felix (SKZ) x Reader
Tumblr media
What the heck yinz guys?! How did I hit 100 followers?! I don’t even think I got that far when I first started writing fanfiction on tumblr like 10+ years ago.  This random drabble means a lot to me for a couple reasons lol....first, its my 100 follower celebration! Second, I am a very shy bean these days when it comes to writing real people.  I’m not sure why, since one of my most incredibly popular fics to date was a full length + sequel series of a Bruno Mars Vampire AU I wrote in 2010 LOL (its still out there in the tumblr-verse if you can find it LOL!).
I guess the world has grown more sensitive to these kinds of things so I tread lightly; but with the help of my new friend Kai, I’ve been introduced to this fantastic human (and many others!) and would appreciate it if you guys would allow me to celebrate 100 amazing people supporting my writing with this bit o’ fluff.
One more thing! I have some WIPs now (how exciting!), so if you’re interested, here’s what I’ve got in the works to be posted soon:

I hope that you’re the one...
If not,
You are the prototype.
Prototype by OutKast (piano cover)
Raucous sounds of combined laughter filled your duplex.  You were certain the neighbors next door could hear everything going on and were likely wondering what prompted this kind of boisterous fun on a Tuesday evening.
You had to work in the late afternoon, so you felt it was reasonable and necessary to succumb to your cravings at 11pm for the chocolate chip pecan cookies you used to love as a child. Besides, your boyfriend was a pretty damn good cook and a bit of an insomniac himself.  He’s sitting atop the edge of the kitchen table, beaming down at you, all freckled and brown-eyed; his bleached golden hair tousled over his head.
He watches you as you happily ramble, speaking entirely too fast and too loud. Anybody else might have tapped out by now, but Felix remained steadfast, instinctively drawn to your bright, bubbly personality, enamored by every excited word that fell from your plump lips.
He’s holding a big, white ceramic bowl of wet and dry cookie mix ingredients, stirring the wooden spoon every so often as he nods to let you know he’s still with you on every word of your speech.
You finally take a deep breath, coming to the end of your roundabout explanation.
“So, can you help me? Pretty please?” You add on the last part, hoping the bat of your lashes sealed the deal for you.  Little did you realize, Felix would’ve done nearly anything for you.  He loved you.  You two had fell into the natural rhythm of your relationship two years ago.  What you were asking was simple of him; you were a theatre major in college and needed to complete a final speech for dialect class.  You chose Australian.  You were good at faking a believable high British dialect, could it be much different?
Instead, the subtle nuances proved to be more challenging than you had anticipated; so it made sense to ask your Aussie boyfriend to help you out. Who else was there to ask, after all? You didn’t think it would be this frustrating when you picked it up to begin with.  You’ve heard him speak to you all the time—over the phone, in person, Facetime; it even came out in a strangely sexy way during intimacy.  You thought you could mimic it with no qualms, but your mouth just refused to cooperate with your brain.
“Do I ever say no to you?” He asks with a lopsided grin, plopping a dollop of cookie dough on your nose.  “What’s your speech about?”
“Well...” You giggle, trying to lick your nose, “It’s gonna sound really dumb and simple–”
“Try me.” He grins, leaning forward to take care of the work for you, swiping the cookie dough off with a flick of his tongue.
You’re standing between his legs that dangle mid-air off of the table.  You place your hands on his thighs, rubbing back and forth a few times before you give a deep sigh, “I just told the story of how we got Doobie.”
Doobie was the dog you both shared, sleeping peacefully in her bed across the kitchen.
“You make the biggest deal out of nothing, you know that?” He leans down and kisses your nose, pushing himself off of the table so he can continue with the baking process.  “You made it seem like you were going to ask me to have sex with you for a show and tell project or something.” He chuckles as he sets the bowl on the table and begins to pick up dollops of cookie dough out of the bowl, rolling it between his clean palms, rounding the cookies out into perfect shapes and placing them on the cookie sheet.
“Now that is quite an idea…” You know it could never happen, but goodness, just the thought of your boyfriend spreading you out on a desk for all of your classmates to see–
“Bring it back here, Y/N.” He snaps greasy, flour dusted fingers in front of your face, lifting a brow.  A kind, simple way to nudge your focus back on the task at hand.  He had a unique way of being incredibly sweet, but taking control of you when necessary.  “The speech?”
“Right!” You bring your attention span back to the present for a moment.  You begin your speech, trying the best Australian dialect that you can muster.  Felix tries to focus on the cookies being placed on the sheet; but when you get to the third sentence, his can’t help the laugh that breaks through his tightly closed lips.
“Shit..is this for a grade, Y/N?” He finally looks up at you from the cookie sheet, his brown eyes locking onto your own, twinkling in amusement.
You nod slowly, “Is it that bad?”
Felix is rubbing the dough between his palms, smoothing out the final cookie.  “If your teacher knows anything about dialects, that’s a solid C-.” he places it on the sheet before looking at you, “I might be being generous since I love you.” He’s trying to not laugh again, as he places a few stray pieces of pecans atop the cookies that lay on the sheet.
“C’mon baby, I’m serious.  It’s due in three weeks!” You pick up the tray, carrying it across the room to place into the pre-heated oven.
“Alright, alright.  I get it.” he becomes a bit more serious; but before he begins, he asks, “Is the timer set?”
You set your phone onto the table, counting down from 14 minutes.  “Ready when you are.” You sit at the kitchen table, pulling out your phone notes with the full speech inside of it.
“Let me see it.” He grasps the phone from you, his free hand dropping onto your knee.  He strokes the fabric of your pajamas with his thumb absentmindedly as his lips silently move, eyes narrowing as he focuses on reading all of the text you had written down.  He starts typing into the notes, thumbs moving quickly and efficiently.  You want to ask what is he up to, but decide to just be grateful for the help instead.  A minute or two passes, and Felix hands your phone back to you.
“Try to read it now.” He suggests, watching you intently as you scan over the phonetics he’s added to help with pronunciation.
You sound as if you’re reading a foreign language for the first time as you sound out the first sentence, “The car ride to the farm didn’t give me a single clue to what the future held.” You speak in a staggering manner, dropping the “r” at the end of car, adding emphasis to the “u” in ‘future’ (which was sounding a bit more like fee-you-cha).  The e’s became i’s, and the i’s became oi’s, so on and so forth, phonetically speaking.  Finally, you look up at Felix for approval.
You’re about to smack fire out of him when you see he’s about to laugh again.
Noticing your impending frustration as your brows knit together, he leans forward out of his chair to give you a kiss of encouragement before he pulls his chair closer next to yours, taking your phone and pointing out the lines to you.  “You’re thinkin’ about it way too much.”
“It’s my final exam for this class and 50% of my grade.” You give him a defeated look, “I can’t stop thinking about it.”
The smell of freshly baked cookies begins to waft throughout the air.
His eyes flit across your face for a moment.  He’s thinking of what to say to make you feel at ease, a little better.  Felix heard you practicing your dialects all day, nearly everyday for this advanced level class ever since the semester began.  He knew you had it in you to learn something so simple; but you always got in your own way with the imposter syndrome that was eating at you from the inside out.  Felix was always good at that–at making sure you felt as capable as you truly were.
“Baby, you’re gonna kill this.  I know it.”
Ding.
The cookie timer begins to ring.
You turn the notification off as Felix ambles over to open the stove, grabbing oven mitts and pulling the tray out and setting it atop the stove.  He waves his hand over them, purely out of habit, and takes a whiff, his eyes closing in pure bliss.
Suddenly, he turns around to you excitedly.  “I have an idea.” he says, his complexion begins to flush with reddened nervousness that he tried not to show, instead, displaying masked determination.  “Your exam is in three weeks, right?”
“It is…”
“What if–” He places his hands out, trying to get you to not jump further than where he was headed in the conversation.  “What if, I took you to meet my family finally?” He finally blurts, waiting on your reply with bated breath.
You feel a combination of shock and excitement climbing your nerves.  “Y-You want me to meet your family, Felix?” You repeat.
He rolls his eyes, “Yes that’s what I just said!”
“I mean–” Your heartrate is climbing at top speed with anticipatory anxiety, “Yes?” You say it again to sound more sure of yourself, “Yes! Yes…I would…I would be honored.” Your voice softens.  You feel stupid hot, fat tears welling in your eyes.  Both of your past relationships had never given you the opportunity to meet their families, let alone in an completely different country.
“ ‘I would be honored’ ” Felix mocks you lovingly with soft tone, “Just relax baby, they’re gonna adore you.  And...” he kneels down in front of you, reaching up to wipe a tear before it gets to fall down your cheek.
“I’ll make sure you pass your final with flying colors.” He smiles at you, “You know I love you, right?”
A few relentless tears drop anyhow.
“I love you too, Felix.”
