Dean putting up a facade, acting like it’s badass that John leaves him and Sam alone at a motel for weeks on end. Acting like it’s super cool that he doesn’t have a curfew or any real rules. But you can see that he’s trying to convince both Amanda and himself that he’s happy with the situation. Also major props to the casting team for supernatural cause Brock Kelly looks so much like Jensen, it’s actually crazy.

Holy sh*t that picture you posted of the actor who played Sam's son Dean Jr. I always thought it was a young JDM! What a great casting job, wow! Thank you for pointing this out, now I want a Dean Jr spin off.
I've been saying forever (all of 18 months) that I want a Dean Jr spinoff.
My personal fanfiction spinoff idea is Dean Jr is not a hunter but some of his children will be. Whenever Dean Jr needs to recounts useful information or lessons or inspirations, Jared appears as Sam in flashbacks passing on the lessons to young Dean Jr, like Psych flashback scenes of young Shawn and his father that starts each episode.
Dean Jr could re-open the bunker once he realizes some of his children are going to be hunters. They are joined by Garth and his children, Sam and Cas, who are avenging the death of their mother. See how easy it is to get “Sam”, “Dean”, and “Cas” back on screen?  Sooooo easy!
Because Jensen thinks time travel is awesome sauce, then for 3 episodes Sam's adult grandchildren time travel back to 2020 to search for a valuable artifact, only to run into Sam and Dean after the event of 15x19 and one month before 15x20.  The grandchildren of course cannot tell Sam and Dean who they really are as the brothers help them find the artifact.  As the grandchildren spend more time with Sam and Dean, they come to really like Dean and want to warn him of his impeding death.  But then they realized that if Dean lives, Sam won’t leave hunting, won’t meet their grandmother, and they will cease to exist.
My dream casting for Sam’s hunter grandchildren are Brock Kelly and Colin Ford.

Absolutely nothing against Brock Kelly, but his features just aren't as "delicate" as Jensen's and he made Dean look more thuggish as a teen than Jensen would have. I think Brock's look fits how the show presents Dean more often than not, and he is still a good looking guy, got that bad boy thing down pat too, he's just not as pretty as Jensen. I have a hard time reconciling how I know that Jensen looked as a teenager with how Dean was supposed to look. So my headcanon Dean was just in denial about how fucking gorgeous he actually was, was butching it up to seem tougher, scarier. But I still picture him being this disarmingly beautiful angel of a boy.

Feral (2017)
Tumblr media
While I didn't enjoy this film, that doesn't mean you won't. No matter what I say, the people involved in this project did it: they actually made a movie. That's something to be applauded. With that established...
Generic. Repetitive. Uninteresting. Feral is a zombie movie lacking in anything that would make it memorable except for its microscopic budget. A crippling lack of funds means it doesn't even deliver what you'd expect from a zombie movie.
Alice (Scout Taylor-Compton), Jules (Olivia Luccardi), Brienne (Renee Olstead), Jesse (Brock Kelly), Gina (Landry Allbright) and Matt (George Finn) are attacked by a strange creature while camping. The survivors take refuge in a small cabin in the woods owned by the reclusive Talbot (Lew Temple). As their wounds become infected, a virus transforms them into FERAL, bloodthirsty creatures.
This movie gets just about everything wrong. Much dialogue in the opening scene details how all of the protagonists (save for one of the girlfriends) are medical students. The film does nothing with this. It appears to have been a complete afterthought on the part of writers Mark Young and Adam Frazier, as none of these people can properly bandage a wound. Similarly, Jules and Alice are in a lesbian relationship that's on the rocks because Alice previously slept with Jesse. Nothing is made of this. In theory, it's cool that their roles could've been played by a man or woman, gay or straight but you've also got to respect the principle of Chekhov's gun and avoid wasting our time with threads that go nowhere.
The picture shows its incompetence further when we finally see the monsters. Their design betrays the very fear upon which all zombie films prey. We've seen it a thousand times: Someone you love has been bitten. They're going to turn. Can you do it? Can you pull the trigger and put them out of their misery? Then there's the shock of seeing someone you love and recognize attack you. In Feral, none of the characters should be struggling with this dilemma and fear because an infected person quickly loses all of their hair, grow rows of sharp teeth, and becomes mute. They essentially turn into snarling creatures that often walk on all fours and are barely recognizable as human. When you see one of the "feral", you never know who you're supposed to be looking at. The characters do because, in theory, this would create tension and drama but the audience is never convinced.
This film has nothing to say and little to do. The bulk of our time is spent watching someone get isolated then attacked while their friend(s) go search for help. When they return, the dilemma begins. "What do we do now?" "Go get help!" It worked so well the last time, just do it again but with the cast shrinking by one every time. It certainly doesn't make you care about the protagonists, as they're basically interchangeable and only differentiated by their clichés. This makes for a boring, unscary story. I'd compliment the gore and makeup but conceptually, they're bad for reasons stated earlier.
Feral struggles to justify its own existence. When it finaly tries something new, it's only so the director Mark Young can make mistakes we've never seen before. Maybe that's a lesson some people will draw value from, but that's not the same thing as being entertaining. (May 29, 2020)

4 years ago yesterday, 𝗧𝗼𝗺 uploaded the photo with which he said the 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒎: 𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒆 𝑩𝒆 𝑪𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆 filming started, and today he gives us one of the 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒎 3 filming from when he was filming here in Spain to say that they are able to resume filming 𝑽𝒆𝒏𝒐𝒎 3 😮💓 😍💖
In the latest photo we had of him, he cut his hair a lot and I don't know if in 12 days he has had time to grow it enough to have it like in this photo and is able to film 🤔, that by the way, I love seeing him like this with completely dark and quite grown hair, I love this look 💘🔥
Thanks, 𝗧𝗼𝗺, for this 💞🙏🏻
⠀⠀⠀⠀
