Whoever invented lye bretzels surely did this with malicious intent, right? No way they just went "let me pour this caustic substance over my dough to enhance the flavour"

My new postcard, featuring my own very special brand of Shadoks : the Shadoks from Alsace !!

The Shadoks come from a series of the 60s, and are very, VERY stupid birds. It's a classic here, and I adore them. You can watch the whole thing on Youtube !
