TS4 Bookish Club Ideas

Current count: 47

I never cared about clubs other than my own (for hacks in skill building and challenges) but ever since I added these, I had fun seeing the clubs hanging out whenever I go to community lots, or marrying a townie and then finding out they’re a Poisoner (thanks MCCC. if you follow my story acct on ig, it’s griffin!).

So, here goes the list I use in my base save, but a few warnings, if you put mischief, they will cause chaos and can be annoying. If you put "Cast Spells”, you’ll see some overcharged spellcasters.

These are just suggestions and mostly stereotypes. Feel free to tweak it to your own preference. You can also add club perks and vibes to your own liking. If I didn’t add a specific hangout, feel free to add one so they’ll end up automatically gathering when you load in a lot. No hangout in my list means I had a hard time trying to match it in the books.

Suggestions and feedback are welcome. I’d love to hear if you put bookish clubs in your games too.

TS4 Bookish Holiday Ideas

Holidays are annoying most of the time but this definitely helped me when I get bored of the game. Sometimes, I would have no idea what to do for a certain sim day or I get bored of a save file because I don’t have any story or nothing was happening. Lo and behold, a holiday comes up and forces me to do something with my sim. It forces me to actually travel out of my home lot to do some fun things.

I do have a lot of custom holidays in my game, including those inspired from tv shows and movies as well as real life holidays. But this will be focused on some holidays I added that are heavily inspired by books I’ve read.

This will be separated into 3 sections: vanilla, mod optional, and modded.

*Boxed items are mods.
