2. 5 favourites of your own work?

5?????? uhhhhhh idk man fuuu hold on.. def some my favs are ones I haven't finished yet haha but maybe these idk I think there are others I like more but they're in sketchbooks only and not easily accessible images online & I'm lazy. one I haven't posted yet so I can't post it here but it's in the discord! :D (for anyone who may be reading this I can send u the link if u want in! I post everything there first & behind the scenes type stuff)

8. What do you like most about your own work?

I really feel like u picked all the hard questions haha. that's hard to answer uhh. yeah damn idk how to answer that. people have described some of my stuff as visceral and also as like not sexual but like sensual. like y'know a lot of mushrooms look uhhhhhh like other stuff wink wink. there are a whole lot of personal and symbolic reasons I pick the subjects I do. I mean not all of them sometimes I just paint stuff because whatever but some of it definitely is intentional and I feel like I'm just barely on the edge of starting to be able to really communicate what I want to. I feel like some future pieces I have planned will really illustrate what I mean. but mushrooms definitely have a lot of symbolic stuff to them that really just perfectly demonstrate a lot of the themes I wanna communicate in my work. beyond that I really love ink and pigments. I like dark lines and texture and colors and ahhhh. some of my stuff hasn't been as successful as I'd like but I think I'm getting there. I think I'm starting to understand my media of choice and be able to combine them in the right way. stay tuned I think there's cool stuff coming (if my hands & brain cooperate and let me get it onto the paper haha)

17. What inspires you?

haha I think this one might be obvious tbh, nature for sure. nature & natural shit always inspires me the most and always resonates the most with me. like it's funny when I go through art museums and stuff it's always more nature dominated/inspired stuff that I like the most (and there's so little of it in a lot of them. it's mostly people and buildings and abstract shit and I'm like ewwww haha). but also obviously like spooky/dark/creepy/sad stuff. cryptids/monsters/creatures. fantasy. mythology. witchy stuff. seasonal stuff. space. cartoons. folk art. art nouveau. queer shit. gender. sensuality. sexuality but usually explicit stuff that's not overtly explicit. gross stuff. mortality. nighttime. and I'm a big believer that you should find inspiration everywhere so lots of music, movies, books, etc. but sometimes I'm just inspired by the color of something or the texture or the shape or the lighting or the vibe or the mood or feel or whatever.
