The post I made about my friend's boa imperator became one of my most popular posts, well I guess you'll like to see what it ended up with then

I finally finished working on that precious animal, here you can see its skeleton finally assembled in its wood and glass urn ready to be delivered to its owner, the skin is also being tanned and I will possibly do another reference post when it is ready

The skeleton was prepared and cleaned by dermestid, it was degreased and finally whitened, reinforcing each joint with glue and finally glued to its urn to make a unique piece of collection and decoration, It really portrays the beauty and greatness of what it once was, a beautiful imperator boa 1.37 meters long, without a doubt a beautiful animal both in life and in death

Anyway, this is technically the first skeleton I've ever articulated so let me know what you think :D

my pride and joy a button buck i found on a walk several years ago. i thought she was a doe at first and i just had to name her. Henrietta echoed in the back of my mind it just felt right- and it still does. she gets an opportunity to have a second life. to transition into something entirely new..something beautiful... nature and art coming together as one. i had a hard time loving the results at first, but the more i look at her, the more proud i am of myself ive never articulated bones before and my original plans didnt work out because of a oversight i made, so i also had to improvise last minute (with the intent to display her locally). for what its worth i actually think i did a pretty fine job. im looking forward to making more projects like this in the future. its all ive ever wanted
