don’t reblog my fucking frank posts if you’re gonna act all sad in the tags about him being beefy/bigger than he was when he was younger i’ll fucking kill you.
gaining weight is not bad!! for ANY reason. frank’s body is a) doing what it needs to for him b) his own fucking body and c) fucking hot not that that even matters because what i think of his body is inconsequential at the end of the day
get fucked

Tbh every time I see someone start explaining the experiences of "skinny people" being treated with more idk...basic dignity regarding their body, I notice that they are inevitably wrong about the claims they make about what never or doesn't happen to thin people. And there's really no way to be like "actually, people do pathologize my appearance immediately and unprompted, this has happened all my life." Without derailing whatever point they're making.
I don't want to argue that skinny people are treated worse by society than fat people. I do wish people would stop making points about the insidiousness of fatphobia by declaring that skinny/thin people never experience xyz things when like...I have explicitly experienced them. That kinda sucks to hear.
"They never have to center their entire physical checkup around their weight or eating! The doctors don't ignore diagnosis of X or Y in favor of discussing their weight!" False, lol. Almost every single new medical professional I deal with has a lengthy interrogation about my weight, my eating, and what I eat. Every time. I also have to convince Drs that my weight is not a reason to refuse prescribing me medication I need. So.
"No one ever pathologizes their weight or appearance or assumes they're unhealthy based on sight alone!" Also false. Please tell that to the absolute unhinged weirdos who have diagnosed me with various eating disorders on sight TO MY FACE.
"people don't feel as entitled to making comments about their body, appearance, or clothes; they're not seen as a bad example for existing!" Again super false lol.
Hell, forget just comments! people would just grab me constantly from elementary through like, high school purely because of my size.

Oh you think they had Austin on steroids for Dune? I’m clueless to that kinda stuff.
lmao They absolutely did. Most male actors with any sort of muscle are using PEDs.
Masters of the Air was filmed in 2021 and Dune in 2022. and I'll give Austin credit he is pretty fit. You can see he has nice arm definition and abs here
but to go from that to this
in the span of a year is bonkers bananas. His pectorals alone are such a heavy difference. They've also got him probably on a super low cal diet here (think chicken breast and white rice every meal) and dehydrated af (the vein pops happen when your body doesn't have enough water)
and he CAN put on muscle really nicely like you see on Shannara
But you can tell this is probably a way more natural physique for him rather than all that loaded muscle he's got as Feyd. (Won't rule out he wasn't also juicing here but it seems less likely to me. or at least he wasn't as heavily
It's really hard to get the perfect combo of Leanness, size, and strength that Austin has as Feyd and do it naturally. It's always a balancing act (I have size and strength but lack the leanness)
Other things to consider/Disclaimer: I'm not seeing him relaxed as Feyd. He's flexing, posing, sucking in his stomach ,and maybe even holding his breath in these stills and shirtless scenes. And all those things DO make you look more built
Ex. with some progress pics i took recently of me flexed and not flexed

been barely eating this month and ive been noticing that i’m having to wear a belt with stuff i didn’t have to before/ cinching belts tighter with things and getting compliments from family and today i was on the phone with my gf and realized my regular pants looked a little ridiculous on me and felt shitty about it so i said “i think ive lost weight” and my gf said “hey.. that’s ok :(” in a very comforting voice that was definitely like “i know this is not news you’re happy to give me” and idk it felt really nice that she treated it as a neutral thing that she recognized was negative for me instead of trying to pose it as a good thing

the thing is that i'm not usually attracted to like big and beefy masculine men but tpz is objectively so fucking gorgeous even though he is big and muscular and i realized why. it's because he looks so healthy. he doesn't look emaciated to show muscle. he has genuine meat on his bones. he jiggles, you know? i feel like ofc i know nothing about his relationship with his own body but since he has talked abt being happy with it, i feel like he genuinely is and that makes it more attractive idk of this makes any sense but he's just so hot.
