blue lock men and what i imagine their cologne smells like!

you can click on each of the examples to read more about their notes and be just as delusional as i was when i was imagining this. be advised that the website i used functions like it's ancient so it will temporarily stop working if you spam open tabs!!

characters: rin, sae, barou, bachira, isagi

itoshi rin: warm and spicy, something more mature. initially hits you with a sharp, alluring woody smell before melting into something a bit sweeter.

example: man in black by bvlgari (notes: rum, tobacco, iris, guaiac wood and benzoin. woody and warmly spicy. sophisticated, seductive, and smooth.)

itoshi sae: sweet and calming with a spicy finish. thinking along the lines of a delicious dessert that your nose follows before you’re smacked in the face with the warmth and intensity of it. it completely wraps up all your senses in the best way possible.

example: noir extreme by tom ford (notes: vanilla, amber, sandalwood, jasmine, orange blossom, cardamom. sweet and spicy. complex.)

barou shouei: definitely something that gets everyone’s attention the second he’s in the vicinity. he wants all eyes on him, after all. strong, classic and rich.

example: fahrenheit absolute by dior (notes: amber, smoky, violet flower, balsamic. woody, floral, and musky. deeply rich and dark.)

side note: was an avid axe body spray user when he was a kid

bachira meguru: bright and fresh. when he walks by heads turn to follow. reminiscent of warm summer days and golden sunshine, citrusy and crisp - like a glass of ice cold lemonade on a hot day.

example: acqua di parma colonia by acqua di parma (notes: lavendar, rosemary, citrus, rose, jasmine. citrusy, aromatic, and freshly spicy. juicy and summery.)

isagi yoichi: elegant and masculine, also into the classics. isagi is just him. the moment. imagining something clean and sharp that mellows out over time into a softer aromatic scent.

Hey 👋👋 Since you’re educated on all things Daniel Brühl, I’ve noticed he has on this necklace in a lot of his films, do you know if there’s anything behind that? Does he not like to take it off or does it have some kind of personal meaning to him? I’m curious, and wondering if you might know.

Hey, I've actually been wondering about that, too. But I have no information about it, just observations. (1) I've only seen him wear it in the last 5 years or so and (2) it seems like a personal and meaningful item, something he keeps on if he can get away with it (e.g. fashion shoots or a movie he's also directing not just starring in). Best guess is it's a gift from his wife.

Here's another photo to add to that collection. Fun trivia? That is apparently the cologne that Daniel wears. The one that got Sebastian and Anthony all excited shooting their scenes together (or at least that's what I inferred from this interview). I'd like to think it's the very same one that had Dame Helen Mirren biting him in the neck.

Okay this might be a really weird ask so I'm sorry in advance but- what does Sera smell like? Does she smell like feathers because she has wings, like Vincent? (Again hope this isn't weird..)

Not weird at all! Lol a few people have asked before, you're all good.

Birdpeople have notoriously weak noses. Their sense of smell (and taste by proxy) is pretty dull as a result. It's partly how Ser's food is always plain and Vincent smells like a SAW-scented teen who's been tarred and feathered. Sera doesn't particularly care about expensive perfumes like someone (cough Sonia) but she does like floral scents.

She smells like Lavender (Body wash/Shampoo) and baby talc powder. (Powder keeps her wings nice, dry, and itch-free.) When she's not working she uses a rose perfume Nate gave her.

i listen to music everyday and am very particular about making playlists. generally i'm fairly organized about it and like to study whole albums, listen to them in order, research similar artists etc. ofc it depends on how much time i have on my hands but not a day goes by without using the spotify app

perfume (i'm not normal about this)

i like making all kinds of flavourful cocktails and fun drinks, i love drinking out of beautiful & varied glassware. i enjoy making drinks for my friends. tea enthusiast. latte fiend. if it's colourful, i want it.

late night walks in the bustling city with the night owls and the loud music of the open bars or in quiet parks when the veil between the worlds lifts and the picturesque lends to contemplation. either way, the wheel keeps turning.

fashion, makeup, beauty accoutrements. i like trying out different aesthetics, braiding my hair in different styles, having my nails done. own too many skincare products. capitalism's no 1 shooter & casualty. there's always someone yapping on in the background about glitter while i contemplate my own mortality (there's always a siren singing you to shipwreck). the things we love destroy us every time, cosmetics are an extension of the will etc
