Seems to be in vogue to shit on attending university/college but I will say the most important and life altering thing that college gave me was giving me the opportunity to meet a wide variety of people; many of which I previously would have had no contact with or would have had the opportunity to meet.

#for context i grew up in a very cishet white and catholic background #so college honest to god was the first time i was able to meet and really get to know people who weren't white cis straight christians #it was great #blew my mind
