What Should Be the Choice of Clothes According to Moriah Mills?

Female body shapes include inverted triangle, rectangle, regular triangle, also called pear shape, hourglass and round Dec or apple shape. Women need to make a choice of clothes taking into account these shapes. Now, let's examine how the choice of clothes should be according to your body shape.

Inverted Triangle

If you are wearing an upper half that is larger than the lower part and your shoulders are wider than your hips, you usually have an inverted triangle body shape. Also, there probably isn't a lot of Decollete space between your waist and hips.

Avoid collars such as boat collars or bardots, large suspenders, halterneck tops, large shawl collars, and larger patterns on the upper half. Instead, opt for pieces that highlight your lower half, such as a striped skirt or wide-leg trousers.

Rectangle

You have a great body type for almost any pants. If you are in shape, you can emphasize your curves with trousers that are tight and reveal your body. Mid-waisted jeans are probably your best option. Because they help to emphasize the waist more. To emphasize the waist a little more, use your jeans with a belt.

Pear

A triangular or pear-shaped body is defined by a wider lower half. Therefore, you probably have wider hips and thighs and a narrower upper half. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian and JLo both have pear-shaped bodies.

In this body shape, you should draw attention to your upper region. You can do this by choosing tops with prints and brighter colors. Wider catches like kayak catches and heart-shaped catches widen the shoulders.

Hourglass

An hourglass shape is defined by equal size at the hips and shoulders with a well-defined waist. Marilyn Monroe is the most recognizable hourglass figure there. With this body shape, you should put your waist forward. Because this area is the thinnest part of your body.   With an hourglass shape, you want to avoid shapeless or baggy clothes that will strain your frame and may even look lumpy.  If you want to be more modest or reduce your chest, you can opt for a boat neckline or a round neckline and avoid tops with a high neckline, such as turtlenecks.

Apple

The round body shape, also known as the apple body shape, is known for a larger upper body than the lower body, which does not have a specific waist. This body shape has a slim waist and great legs, but from the hips up it is not noticeable.

The easiest jean for your body type is the straight leg jean. Because while it makes your wonderful legs stand out, it also makes your waist a little more defined. To balance a casual outfit, opt for a more baggy sweater or top. Two tight pieces at the top and bottom will feel unbalanced and heavy at the top because you are missing the waist definition.
