people love to talk about invincible for it's over the top gore and violence, but i really do think the show's writing is at it's best when it's just two people have a conversation
#LIKE UGH#this scene + 'you dad. i'd still have you' are probably my two fave scenes in the entire show like WOWW#the casualness...the familiarity.....the intimacy........like wow#you can tell just how much rex and eve care for each other despite the fact that rex has hurt eve so deeply#and you can tell how much rex regrets hurting eve just based on how he talks about all of the stuff that eve went through on her own#and how rex was given the opportunity to grow and change because of her LIKE!!!!!#also all the references to the rex splode prequel comic...rex hiding in her room for a year...eve showing rex her family portrait#(which didnt happen in the comic so i am assuming their gonna add it to their eventual adaptation of the comic plz)#AND EVE my beautiful princess who deserves the world and then some#atom eve#rex splode#invincible#shut up birdy#that one oomf who doesnt play abt rex and eve

I'm a trans man

Lol so I figured out my sexualty, finally allowed myself to love women, and now my gender has come into question.
I realised because I was talking to one of my trans friends, best friend really, and they started talking about how it felt growing up 'diffrent'
I listened the them, then halfway through clicked on to the fact that we shared a lot of the same feeling growing up. Not wearing the 'correct' clothes, acting out of the perseved gender norm, someone referring to 'she' and feeling physically sick, stomach rolling, head aching ill from it.
But I wasn't 100%, so they said 'hay have a binder, I've never used it, see if it changes anyhting'
I put the binder on.
And then proceeded to cry cuz I was flat.
It felt like a peice of me had clicked into place, the fact that my chest was just, gone, it made me feel like ME.
It was lot to unpack, and I was still unsure (sociaity, religious family members, repressed feelings made me want to not accept it I guess)
Then, I bit the bullet at said 'hey, here's my new name, and I wanna go by he/him for now' not to anyone but my friends and college, but I'm 19 so they won't contact my home.
The last week?
Teachers called me he, my friends said him and I just.
Something has clicked, I finally feel comfortable in my own freaking skin.
I no longer feel like I'm 'off'
It hard to explain, but when people say she and her for me it feels......wrong, so wrong and I never questioned it! I thought it was 'normal' to look in the mirror and want to rip your body apart.
Apparently it's a trans thing. It makes sense now.
So yeah, that's how my week's been.
Idk I just wanted to share to see if yall had any advice I suppose

This story is a crossover between a Tenessee Williams story, Cat On A Hot Tin Roof, and Elvis Presley’s life. The character in the story that Elvis fills the shoes of is called Big Daddy, which is the hashtag I came up with for Elvis in the mid 70's era, and I'm so happy the Fandom has embraced. That kind of kickstarted this whole thing. In the film (which you should see because its really good!) everyone, and I do mean everyone calls this guy Big Daddy. I'm not sure we ever hear his given name.
Billy is not his son, but a member of the Memphis Mafia. Same with Jerry and Steve and Charlie.
Brick was adopted by Big Daddy as a young child, more details will be made known in the story.
That being said, if you have any more questions, I'd be happy to post an explanation and a cast list of sorts to the series masterlist.
