The sheer glee Adaine has talking about kipperbaby cunterscuttle with Aelwyn is so deeply relatable to me. "OH tell me EVERYTHING about it" "so she's STUPID as well this is GREAT" like there is truly no greater high than getting petty dirt on someone you fucking hate.
So somebody's gotta talk about Sally watching Barry adoringly while he does the Macbeth monologue in the biopic, yeah??? How Hollywood takes a woman's accomplishment and hands it to a murderous and violent man they'd rather paint as a hero? How uncomfortable it was as an audience member to watch them give Worst Actor On Earth Barry Block one of the hardest monologues in Shakespeare as if Sally would EVER be happy for someone else's success???
All the other adult actors in It Chapter 2: I was so excited to be in this movie. I absolutely adored part one, so I was thrilled when Andy reached out to me. I love my kid counterpart and we have such a good connection.
The reason Fuches & Barry hit so hard is that they aren't biologically linked, they are essentially chosen family. Fuches chose to be Barry's father and is still like this. The love was there and it was strong, but it didn't save anyone.
I can’t with this show. Every time I think I know what is going on they throw a insane curve ball at you like episode 4???????? HELLO?? Barry fucking Berkman.
My autoimmune king at the Emmy awards. Although he didn't win I'm still so f***ing proud of him I could cry. The hug that he gave to Suds, his fellow allum, was everything wholesome that I needed today. 💛
something so beautiful about the direct change in atmosphere between the first and last two seasons of barry. i’ll talk about it a million times but it’s so fucking cool how you can see the exact moment bill hader’s vision for the outcome of the show warped into this disastrous and depressing situation. it’s so obvious !!!something about binging this show and seeing the characters go from these very alive and strong people to genuinely miserable and gloomy souls within the sixish months between season 2 and 3 is so jarring and terrifying. and with this show being as directorially advanced as it is, watching it cling onto this isolating and incredibly eerie atmosphere honestly makes it go from a fun absurd action comedy with good performances to genuinely some of the best television i have ever seen because the two concepts juxtapose eachother so idiosyncratically. such a tonally distinctive show that i cant think of anyone else who could possibly even begin to craft it
