I 18 Quadri Più Pagati Nella Storia Dell'Arte
Negli ultimi anni alcuni quadri hanno raggiunto valori economici inimmaginabili, sia in asta che in transazioni private. Ecco gli esempi più significativi.
Sapreste indicare quali sono i quadri più costosi al mondo?
Sono sicuro che subito vi balzeranno alla mente nomi come Van Gogh, Picasso, Chagall, Monet, ecc.... Ed è effettivamente così, anche se con qualche doverosa eccezione. Un'opera economicamente assumerà un valore economico pari alla cifra che una persona è disposta a pagare per acquistarla.

Nel 2006 David Geffen, cofondatore della DreamWorks, ha ceduto il dipinto al miliardario Steven A. Cohen per 122 milioni di euro.
3. Jackson Pollock, No. 5, 1948, 1948
L'opera è stata venduta nel 2006 dal magnate David Geffen, al prezzo di 125 milioni di euro. Secondo il New York Times il nuovo proprietario è il tycoon messicano David Martínez.
4. Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Bal au moulin de la Galette, 1876
Il quadro fu venduto da Betsey Whitney a Ryoei Saito nel 1990 alla cifra, rivalutata ad oggi, di 127 milioni di euro.
5. Francis Bacon, Three studies of Lucian Freud, 1969
Nel novembre 2013 il trittico è stato battuto in un'asta alla cifra di 130 milioni di euro circa, divenendo il quadro più pagato fino a quel momento. L'attuale proprietaria è Elaine Wynn, ex moglie di Steve Wynn, cantautore americano.
6. Pablo Picasso, Il sogno, 1932
Il dipinto è stato venduto nel 2013 per 138 milioni di euro, a Steven A. Cohen.
7. Vincent Van Gogh, Ritratto del dottor Gachet, 1890
Nel 1990 il mecenate giapponese Ryoei Saito ha speso 82,5 milioni di dollari per comprare il quadro dalla famiglia Kramarsky. Tenendo conto dell'inflazione, l'esborso corrisponde a circa 138 milioni di euro.

8. Gustav Klimt, Ritratto di Adele Bloch-Bauer I, 1907
Il quadro è stato acquistato da Ronald Lauder, erede delle società 'Estée Lauder, nel 2006, per circa 140 milioni di euro.
9. Roy Lichtenstein, Masterpiece, 1962
E'un dipinto pop art del 1962 di Roy Lichtenstein che usa la sua classica tecnica a punti e fumetto. Nel 2017 il miliardario Steve A. Cohen acquistò il dipinto per 150 milioni di euro
10. Amedeo Modigliani, Nu couché, 1918
Nel 2015, l’opera realizzò 158 milioni di euro, spesi dall’investitore miliardario Lui Yiqian.
11. Rembrandt van Rijn, Pendant portraits of Maerten Soomans and Oopjen Coppit, 1634
Nel 2015, il Rijksmuseum di Amsterdam e il Louvre di Parigi hanno raccolto 160 milioni di euro per le opere, stabilendo il record di prezzo più alto mai pagato per le opere di Rembrandt.
12. Pablo Picasso, Donne di Algeri, 1955
Il quadro passò in asta nel 2015 e venduto per la cifra di 161 milioni di euro. Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber Al Thani, ex primo ministro del Qatar, lo comprò.

Il miliardario Dmitry Rybolovlev se l'è comperato nel 2014 per 165 milioni di euro, acquistandolo da un privato.
14. Paul Cézanne, I giocatori di carte, 1893
5 versioni ne sono state dipinte. Una è stata acquistata nel 2012 dalla famiglia reale del Qatar circa 175 milioni di euro.
15. Jackson Pollock, Number 17A, 1948
Il finanziere Kenneth Griffin acquistò questa stupenda opera nel settembre 2015 a circa 177 milioni di euro.
16. Paul Gauguin, Nafea faa ipoipo (che significa: Quando ti sposi? ), 1892
Il 6 febbraio 2015 il collezionista d'arte svizzero Rudolf Staechelinè lo ha venduto per circa 200 milioni di euro ad un acquirente sconosciuto collegato a un consorzio di musei del Qatar.
17. Willem de Kooning, Interchange, 1955
Quando quest'opera passò all'asta, nel 2015, per circa 270 milioni di euro, Kenneth Griffin l'acquistò, e stabilì il record per il dipinto più costoso mai venduto. Il motivo per cui egli pagò una tale somma è che l’opera segna l’importante momento di transizione all'espressionismo astratto di De Kooning.
18. Leonardo Da Vinci, Salvator Mundi, 1500 c.
Nessuno avrebbe potuto immaginare che nel novembre del 2017, il quadro di Leonardo Da Vinci “Salvator Mundi” sarebbe stato venduto per quasi 382 milioni di euro. Dopo 19 minuti di agguerrite offerte e controfferte, il dipinto andò al dipartimento di cultura e turismo di Abu Dhabi e finirà sulle pareti del Louvre di Abu Dhabi.

Hello dear, your blog is fantastic! It’s the main reason i joined the royal fandom in fact. I was wondering if you would maybe do a post (if you haven’t already) dedicated to golden tiara’s instead of silver/platinum. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much, that’s so nice to hear! Most tiaras on here are made using gold, you just don’t notice it. Jewelers are excellent at what they do and usually they want to highlight the gemstones so they set them in a way that the metal is not very noticeable but that’s not always the case, sometimes the metal is the star of the show. This is especially true in modern tiaras because gemstones are very expensive so you can buy a slightly cheaper tiara if more metal and fewer gemstones are used.
