Hajime's warm hand moved gently over Nagito's back, showing he wasn't fully asleep. His fingers moved tender and curious, tracing the contours of Nagito's spine and igniting a shooting waving of pleasure that cascaded down Nagito's back.
As Hajime's fingers wandered, they brushed inadvertently against the jagged texture of a scar on Nagito's shoulder blade. The feather-light touch felt like a jolt of electricity, and he flinched instinctively, recoiling from the touch.
The sudden movement broke the spell of the moment. Hajime's hand paused mid-air, hovering in a moment of hesitation. His eyes, half-open, mirrored a mix of sleepiness and dawning realization. Confusion flickered across his features as he propped himself up slightly, trying to read Nagito's face in the dim light.
"Did I…?" Hajime's voice was a groggy murmur laced with concern. He was more awake now and aware of the sudden shift in the atmosphere.
