G’day book lovers, I hope 2023 has been kind to you so far. It has for me. I’d love to give a huge shout-out to Jenna Moreci, bestselling dark fantasy author. After reading an ARC of SHUT UP AND WRITE THE BOOK, I was raring to go with my next novel. If anyone out there is looking to brush up their skills, or if you’re a novice trying to navigate your way through the indie writing world, then this book is for you.

As usual, Jenna injects her sarcasm and wit to bring about an easy to digest book that details everything from the planning stage, all the way up to the moment you send off your book baby to an editor.

I’ve read many how-to books in the past, but this was a comprehensive look with plenty of laugh-out-loud moments.

For that, I rate this book 5/5 stars, and I employ you to do your first book (or next; it’s never too late to learn something new) a favour by giving it a go. There is nothing you will not find in this book, and I’d like to thank Jenna for giving us an honest look at what it takes to sit down and write a compelling story.

The world needs more people like Jenna. So if you’re on the fence, then consider this a push in the right direction to turn your dreams into reality and create something truly remarkable.
