Miles is so her safe person that she CANNOT SENSE HIM. Her body physically cannot register him as a threat. Her spider sense does not tell her he’s there when invisible because HER BODY CANNOT BE ON GUARD WITH HIM. GRRRRR.

She can sense him across universes when he’s in danger but she can’t sense him when he’s five feet away because his intentions are so…not malicious. And she feels so safe with him. And trusts him so completely. That she literally can’t sense him.

I think it's all about care, in the end. How is it that every time you write something, a ramble, a passing thought, a mention, of Trey I am reduced to a giddy mess. And for every post you make of him, you make me realise what my ideal man is and how down bad I am for this man. YES OMG...... it's actually so embarrassing how one mere thought of Trey is enough to have me doubled over. OTL I am down atrocious for him. This is just the Trey Effect. >_< I think it might be due to how smooth he is??? How the concept of domestic bliss applies so nicely to him. How completely safe and "normal" he appears compared to the other more suspicious individuals in the twst cast. How seamlessly he can manipulate you without appearing so obvious about it. He seems so sweet and caring and responsible (and he is), but he's also incredibly sneaky and you wouldn't even realize it.

Aaaaaa orz he absolutely is the type of boyfriend to keep you out past curfew and then use the excuse that the both of you were having so much fun that you didn't even realize the time had passed so quickly. But Trey's family is very trustworthy, as is Trey himself, so your parent(s) or guardian(s) can rest well knowing you're in good hands for the evening. And those hands are very good, so good at working you open, at prying your lips apart so you can suck on his fingers, at gripping your hips when he bottoms out in one thrust that has you seeing stars.

He's the type to fuck you just hours before your wedding, promising he'll be quick and it won't be too messy, competing with time just for the fun thrill of it. And he'll tease you with little things of what he'll do to you on your honeymoon, where the two of you can pick up where you left off just before the ceremony. >:)

Omg and if you're staying at the Clovers' house, you have to be quiet when he fucks you so you won't wake his siblings or his parents who are sleeping just a few doors down. AAAAAAA he brings you down to the bakery and fucks you against the counter so you can be just a little louder. You might assume he would be so boring and vanilla from a first glance assessment, but appearances are often deceiving. Trey continues to surprise and amaze.

Post-invasion, Mikey sneaks into Leo’s room and when asked by Leo what the problem was, Mikey just smiles and says since he’s awake and knew Leo would be too, he didn’t want either of them alone. Leo laughs and lets Mikey stick around, both of them clumped together on Leo’s bed, watching grainy compilations of old Lou Jitsu commercials on Leo’s phone.

Technically, Mikey didn’t lie. He just didn’t explain everything that led him to Leo’s room. He didn’t explain the nightmare of his arms burning up too bright, too fast, destroyed before Raph and Donnie have a chance to help. He didn’t explain how he woke up with a wail caught in his throat, phantom pain in his arms and chest alike chasing away any semblance of exhaustion. He didn’t explain how his mind made sure he knew, vividly, that if one thing went wrong with his portal, then he would have never seen Leo again.

He didn’t explain, and he didn’t have to. Leo knows his brothers better than he knows himself, and Mikey has always been easy to read. So it’s no trouble to let Mikey know that he’s still with them, that Leo is here and alive with everyone else. And when Mikey finally regains his exhaustion and falls asleep leaning against Leo, Leo simply maneuvers him into a more comfortable position and stays by his side.

He doesn’t move, doesn’t go to sleep - not that he could, anyway. He just mindlessly scrolls on his phone, the soft snores of his little brother filling the room. He stays in place, awake, because he wants to be sure that when Mikey wakes up again it’s to the immediate sight that Leo is alive and well and home.

And, if Leo’s bring honest, that’s a reminder not just for Mikey’s sake.

But honestly, no... It's not really about my characters to me. I love my characters, of course, and I love telling stories, and I hope to keep making art of my characters every day until I die.

But it's not about them! They're not REALLY what I love, what I love is people! And I hope I can leave the world with a hundred different love letters so my readers can feel how much I love them for even one day longer than I am here.

My characters are a conduit through which I can give that to people. I want nothing more than to make someone feel a little more loved, a little more seen, and a little less alone. And my characters are the best way I know how to do that.

So for that, they're incredibly important to me... But they're not for me. They're for you!

A trend in Astarion fics that I find bizarre is the idea that he's never been treated gently during sex. This is difficult to believe for one simple reason: some of Astarion's victims were virgins.

Astarion: You were handsome. Shy. You'd never been kissed. Sebastian: You taught me how. And then you destroyed me.

I get the desire to make his current partner special by having their sex be good and wholesome in comparison to his other trysts, but this is a flawed sentiment. The cutscene of that first night together is incredibly tender from the kiss to laying on the grass - the only outlier being if you offer your neck - and if you sleep with Astarion but keep it at that night, Astarion himself says he will never forget you. Not because the PC was uniquely gentle with him in bed, but because they were the first person he ever slept with of his own free will. It's his choice that makes that night special to him moreso than anything the PC may or may not have done during that time.

Whenever I think about your Keir I think about Bethany telling Anders he reminds her of Malcom. I’m sure that won’t ever affect Keir ever.
