BKDK - Highschool Romantics Headcanons

LOVE ME some good old fashioned highschool romance shenanigans so as per my brand, lets make it bkdk!! bc tbh i havent made a hc list in a while

its second year highschool! things have calmed down significantly and for class 1-A this means that its time to celebrate their teenage years like they werent able to before

this means more movie nights--more days they get to spend having fun and being regular kids like they shouldve always been

meanwhile bkdk? after confessions and apologies made on bloody battlefields and quiet hospitals at the dead of night... its almost comical how cheesy they are

deku sneaks up on kacchan during lunchbreaks, dragging him to the training fields where he serenades him with a guitar and laughs as a small crowd of their schoolmates whoop in glee

he sings songs of youthful love and friendship, awkward voice smoothing into something beautiful and charming

in return, katsuki learns new songs. he learns to draw and to play the drums even better--living for that shocked little smile when he draws doodles of deku and dedicates especially sappy songs to him during their monthly school jamming session

they arent together at this point, technically. no one knows what they are. no one can begin to label what they have either.

but its definitely good.

its bright and its beautiful and its loud, so theyll protect it with their eyes wide open but in the meantime class 1A just sits back and watches the twin stars of UA unravel like leaves in the cool mornings of fall

they go everywhere together, always holding hands. bakugou and deku have promise rings, little matching all might insignias glinting in the sun

they won those in an arcade somewhere. no one knows what the promise is, and no one really bothers to ask

katsuki really likes lending izuku his jackets. its nothing he says outright, just the fact that he's always ready—always one arm out of its sleeve—to bundle his sweaters and drop it into the lap of the unsuspecting nerd.

"geez, is it just me or is it really co—" *flop*

sometimes kirishima worries about his best friends allowance at the rate in which he has to replace all his jackets

they brawl in the hallways, rough house on the train station, cuddle when its cold and the common room is filled with people and light

deku often likes to surprise katsuki with little gifts. he sneaks spicy candies into the other boy's backpack between classes, slips giftcards and notes of appreciation between the pages of katsuki's textbooks

in return, as he does with everything, katsuki goes big. sometimes he surprises deku with a giant teddy bear, or soft hoodies that remind him of the other. he'll get the whole bakusquad in on it and fill the hallways in the morning with encouraging yells and loud boisterous laughter

sometimes, obviously, they'll still mess up. They're still teenagers, still human.

Deku will sometimes not say things that he should and Kacchan will sometimes say things he doesn't mean.

they'll fight and yell and unsettle the dorms with how charged the air becomes. sometimes Aizawa's worried they'll go back to ground beta and increase the hero course's already abysmal annual repair budget again like they used to do when they were stressed and repressed and each other obsessed

but then bakugou will sneak into dekus balcony at the dead of night, like some sort of delinquent trying to visit their goody two shoes lover at the risk of running into their shotgun father

(which in this case, bakugou supposes, would be uraraka--the metaphorical shotgun being a very tired todoroki)

and he'll knock on the window gently, trying not to smile as izuku opens the window and rubs the sleep from his eyes.

"ka... cchan?"

katsuki lets himself smirk at last and tells deku theyre sneaking out.

phrases it like a taboo secret, even as aizawa watches from the security footage room exasperated but also kind of relieved because of all things his class has gone through, a little midnight tryst is the least dangerous of them all. its not even close to the biggest secret deku's ever had, and by god he has plenty.

but he stifles his giggles into the palm of his hand and watches as bakugou precariously sits on the metal railing, clothes a mess and leaves still stuck in his hair

"Our little secret, okay?" Kacchan jokes, red eyes glimmering with something raw and perfect. "Don't tell your dad about me."

Izuku rolls his eyes and reminds him that All Might isn't actually his father, god Kacchan! You've met my real dad!

Yet still, he lets it pass.

And then, oh so carefully yet recklessly as if they weren't the most powerful duo of their generation, katsuki reaches out and slips deku's hands in his and takes him away

takes him to a beach (Dagobah, because of course it is) in the middle of the night, the stars brighter than theyve ever been because everything looks different when youre young and in love

they lay in the sand and listen to the waves and some weird beat thats been stuck in Izuku's head. Bakugou turns to watch his eyelashes flutter against freckled cheeks and holds out a pinky.

"I'm sorry. By the way. I didn't mean what I said and I want you to be happy."

Izuku hums and they talk it out. Eventually the other boy holds his pinky out too and they link together like pieces of a puzzle.

Under the stars, the two of them make a million promises. Promises that they know they'll break, promises that they know they won't, promises that leave them uncertain and guessing.

"—but you promise, though. Right? You promise that we'll still be by each other? Us against the world forever and ever even after this. Even when we grow old?"

Their pinkies stay linked together and the two boys know for sure that it's one of those highschool promises that they will keep forever.

Deku stares into pretty red eyes that remind him of juicy apples and warm bonfires beside friends who never run out of stories to tell

Katsuki stares back into clear green eyes that remind him of calming tea and lush grass he lays down on in the familiar heat of a summer afternoon

they just. stare. stare and stare and stare and maybe, they begin to think

maybe in those eyes, i can see our future.

and its good.

its really really good.

well hi! thank you for the request, it was so cool to write! now i’m assuming you mean like a quirk that works like potions and herbs/crystals and spirit summoning and spells which is the road i’m taking i hope that’s okay?

now this boy is

excited

when he first saw the mist swirling around your fingers as you fought the robots in the UA exam, a shock went through his body

what was that?

okay he didn’t mean to stare- considering he was in the middle of an exam- but the way you moved and the glints of a crystals around your body was just so cool

time passed and he got closer to you, during the dorm competition your room was the only room he wanted to see and boy did he love it

the green ivy and plants in your room, the pots and white smoke curling from diffusers and shelves full of powder and inks organised in a neat row

your room felt like a whole new world- like magic

literally after everyone had left he was still in your room looking around like a meerkat assessing it’s surroundings

fast forward; you guys are dating and he was VERY curious as to how your quirk worked, and you explained how your spells and energy came from the crystals and jewels

each crystal gave you a different energy, which converted to your power!

kirishima literally watched in awe as you pointed at all the different coloured gems and jewels and the symbols on your walls

he even asked to touch some of them and asked where you got them

he also asked to see them in battle, and asked if you had any similar to his own quirk!

the both of you engaged in LOTS of different mock battles, which almost always ended up in a play fight rather than real training- just because he ends up enjoying watching you use your quirk too much to actually focus

once you two had engaged in a long, breathless make out session against one of the walls- what can I say? you wanted to see what it felt like to kiss kirishima in his red riot form and have him melt back to normal under your touch

yeahh...it was a bad idea to do that in the school gym, where half of class 1-B caught you two mushed together against a wall

back to the hc!

he asks SO many questions

sometimes just sits on your bed for ages and asks one after the other after the other, to the point where aizawa has to come and send him back to his side of the dorm

let me tell you now: if you are 1) planning to get anything or 2) NEED anything, don’t let him find out

you once let it slip that you were considering getting pouches to carry these crystals, and the sweet, sweet boy went out and bought BUCKETS of bags

yes buckets because he didn’t know if your crystals would be affected by material or size of the bag or- god forbid what if it did and he ruined your quirk in battle?!

he’d never forgive himself.

ever.

like literally he’d be on his knees ready for punishment of how you saw fit because of his mistake

what can i say? the boys dramatic

but its endearing :,)

it ended up being the cutest date of you cuddled up on his bed wrapped in his blankets like you were drowning in them,

whilst he sat on the floor, presenting each little bag and pouch to you, all teleshopping style.

all of them were bought with your costume in mind and how could you not keep some of the bags? with kirishima watching you with the biggest eyes and slightly-pouting-lips-but-he-would-never-admit-it there was no way you didn’t keep the most useful ones

you asked him to return the extra bags so he wouldn’t have wasted his money, whilst you repaid his kindness with lots and lots of kisses and cuddles

sometimes it comes off that he’s not interested in your quirk in a general sense, but it’s only because he doesn’t know how to ask without seeming pushy

he gets shy (but doesn’t show it) but with time that decreases to a sort of dry affection

i’m not saying he’s a dry boyfriend but he definitely isn't as spritely as someone like Denki might be

the way you’d see that he wanted to know more was if he asked you to come and fight with him, train with him and study

this is where he asked about your quirk

he didn’t ask to the extent of kirishima, who said everything that came to mind, he asked precise questions that gave him all the information he was desperate to know because you are so cool it makes his heart burn needed

and he also knew you would add more information as you explained, which he loved because he loved hearing you talk so passionately

this time your quirk allowed you to control people to an extent, depending on different plants and herbs you used

the plants each had a special line, muttered as you dropped the herbs anywhere on your opponent for it to activate

best believe todoroki asked for one to knock endeavour out, literally out of nowhere💀

once, one night you had been laying on your bed, and todoroki had popped over to see you. it was still quite early on in your relationship so you weren’t expecting him to cuddle up beside you and tuck into your smaller body, chin hooked onto your shoulder whilst his eyes bore into yours from below todoroki loves eye contact

‘Do your plants have meanings?’

that’s it, that’s all he softly whispered in your ear

‘What do you mean?’ You whispered back

‘Like...like roses mean love...do your herbs have a meaning linked to what they do?’

okay now he was blushing, very gently because he didn’t want to annoy you, or ask you a question you’d never thought of and make you feel silly or insecure about his quirk

YOU on the other hand were smothering a dopey grin. you knew your boyfriend and his boundaries, and you knew that him asking you in such an intimate setting meant he was trying hard for you

you also knew that he’d just given you free reign to ramble however you saw fit

so you explained, how each herb did this, how if you mixed them they did that, if you made a liquid infused with them it helped with your application in battle and so much more

todoroki listened silently, but his eyes were gleaming

literally glowing in the darkness- I mean was that even possible? it had to have been considering how todoroki looked at you that night

after you were done, he replied with a similar thing about his own quirk, and both of you had a long long chat that went from quirks, to schooling, to life, to aliens and more

todoroki had the weirdest humour, he never knew he was being funny until your quiet giggles morphed into full blown laughter- and caused a knock from the next room over because you were being too loud

he would let out his own little chuckles and smirks, seeing you enjoy his company so much

it was a while after that day when something new happened

you’d sent him a message, whilst he was sitting right next to you, and your contact name flashed on his screen suddenly, catching your eye

‘my calendula’

you looked at todoroki

todoroki looked at you

you both blinked

‘calendula?’ you asked

‘yes’ todoroki replied

‘why calendula?’

‘because,’ todoroki blushed deeply, eyes flickering away from yours

‘because you said calendula means joy...you’re my joy. arent you?’

and god help anyone who tries to say you aren’t todoroki’s joy

because you would literally throw them to the ground

your heart soared at how todoroki loved you and your quirk so much

even though it wasn’t blatantly obvious, it was the little things he did for you 😍

he originally going to call you his basil until Bakugou came round behind him asking him if he was writing the dorms grocery list. safe to say that plan was aborted immediately :D

I headcanon you’re REALLY strong

like STUPID strong

Remember bakugos reactions to all the students quirks and he was like ‘shit I cant beat them 😨’

And his reaction to todoroki? yeah he’d literally see you use your quirk and just

no I’m joking

but I feel like as your s/o he’d be super obsessed with your quirk

he’d always want to train with you, he’d see it as an amazing part of you that he wants to help hone so you can be the best of the best

not better than him obviously but the best anyway

not that he’d SHOW all of this awe and pride to you, it’s normally delivered in a bunch of bakugo sentences:

‘oi your form is shit. do this instead.’

that means he’s realised a new way you can throw this punch, with much more force

‘tch, go train. you need the training.’

he wants to train with you. again.

‘....finally. took you long enough to learn that.’

you’ve just done something successfully and he’s trying so hard not to blush at how well you did it.

here your power is more destructive

you can create sigils using a your finger in the air and they create attack power

this with bakugos quirk makes a formidable duo, and if he doesn’t get partnered with you he will most likely throw a fit

but not a long fit more of a like ‘oi why is she over there we work better together’

but he realises as heroes you need to work well with anyone you meet, so he’s not too fussy

because of the fact that you draw the sigils, you have a habit of tracing out patterns and new symbols and any sort of designs subconsciously

this is done normally on any part of your skin, with a pen

bakugo being old man bakugo 🙄 got mad at you

he told you off for almost giving yourself ink poisoning and ruining your hand and making it all dirty drama queen

but throughout all of this bakugo had been clutching your hand, and best believe he wasn’t letting go

he used the hand he was holding to pull you along and sit comfortably, dropping his own palm into your lap and mumbling something that kind of, sort of, might have been along the lines of ‘use my arm dumbass’

now you had bakugos arm to scribble on to your hearts content.

you used this when you were stressed, worried that your nerves were causing you to forget things or simply because you wanted to hold bakugo close

in fact, bakugo himself had adopted this habit, and you’ll notice I said arm instead of hand

bakugo got nervous around you, and therefore sweaty, which therefore lead to tiny little explosions in his palms when you were near

but this habit had started to make him feel comfortable with his hands around you, it made him trust himself more

he knew his power was strong and he didn’t want to hurt you, your quirk was something that helped him with that

and he wouldn’t tell you that but he was grateful. VERY grateful

he once asked why you used pen, and not your finger on your skin considering the pen ink is toxic

you answered very quickly, by pulling out a sheet of people and sliding your finger across the surface in a sigil shape

promptly the paper burnt into a cinder :)

and bakugo never asked again

'heres the thing about power: people who have it think they deserve it' [shot of police car] i see u greg

5 whole panels being dedicated to booker not being able to unlock his door. booker not even seeing noriko sitting RIGHT THERE in the window at first. incredible

noriko being 24/7 horny was surprising. like wow all of the stuff i saw she did out of context was 100% equally horny in context as it was out of context. love that for her

i didnt think the 'andy + slavery' thing was handled as badly as everyone made it out to be when telling me about it. tho from the way it was talked about i had kind of figured the conflict between andy and nile re: slavery would be really racially charged (esp considering nile is a black american and would obvs have Thoughts on the subject in that regard) but like,, done in a cringey 'a-white-guy-obviously-wrote-it' kind of way? but it wasnt that. i mean. it makes sense that andy would be implicit in slavery through the years

i mean, like she says, is that not what people just did to each other in the aftermath of battles for thousands of years? and i really like how its pointed out that it was what she was raised with (in the beginning when you see her put shackles on that guy after the battle) but she also accepts responsibility for it and acknowledges that it was wrong and not just 'what people did'.

i like how from her expressions you can kind of tell baby andy knew it was off but she sets those feelings aside bc she felt angry. it explains how she felt but didnt make her out to be blameless in it. plus i mean. i dont know, the fact that andy was involved in a lot of morally shady stuff for 7000 years is not that wild for me. if you live that long youre just Going to be involved in some shit, and she didnt even have other immortals with her as positive community influences, she literally just did whatever the fuck she wanted for thousands of years

'i was worshipped as a god once' i mean, yeah no shit she wouldve been involved in some seriously fucked up stuff, gods were fucking scary back in the day

joe and nicky writing verbal fanfiction about nile and moose was iconic. 'you seeing that?' 'i am definitely seeing that'

it was also extremely funny bc that was like 60% of their contribution to the whole comic, besides kidnapping copley. they came, they wrote some fanfic, they left. kings. at least in tog1 they had an excuse to be useless bc they got kidnapped

joe just found out his old friend who he thought was dead is alive (and also probably wants to murder them) and instead of investigating with andy he stopped to help nile up. champ.

nicky shooting noriko through andy was cool. rip to the concept since it wont happen in tog2

on that note imo copley was. weirdly enough, more interesting in fm than in tog1. to me at least. the fact that andy let him live and he was so haunted by what had happened that he came back and sought them out despite knowing they would likely kill him for it bc he wanted to not only make up for what hed done but also to tell them what theyd done for the world was admittedly more interesting than andy just kind of drafting him to the cause and him going 'okie'

i like how nicky was drawn in this one. in opening fire he looks like a blob man but in fm he looks more like a very nice grampa with a very good dye job

the drowning sequence was cool

copley trying to talk to andy while she was like o_o at him was great

ive hit the picture limit but id seen that panel where nicky goes 'forgive me' as he kills a guy out of context and it was HILARIOUSLY anticlimactic for me to discover that there was literally no context to it. nicky just apologizes to random people he kills. i thought that guy was someone he knew or something. nope its just Some Guy that nicky didnt know from adam

nile's complaint that andy was especially brutal to the guys on the boat... i mean. . , how exactly does one kill a man with an axe and not be brutal about it?

it was funny how noriko kissed andy and the only people who seemed surprised by that were nile and also andy

nicky and joe's complete non-reaction to finding out noriko is alive And Evil Now is endlesly funny. they just left her on that boat and neither cared. i get book and nile not caring but joe and nicky knew her, and they just have 0 input on the subject of what to do with her

andy blowing up at nile was A Moment tho

i dont know, i get why people didnt like the ending but its. .. . it makes more sense in the comicverse. bc the squad doesnt really. .. interact outside of jobs? i mean, think of the moon landing story in ttt. that was booker and joe and nicky doing a job and andy only showed up a for a couple minutes after it was done. or the brunch in the first issue of opening fire. the squad arent as tight in the comic, and andy often seems to do her own thing outside of work, so andy saying 'i dont want to do work anymore' and the squad being like 'alright bye then' makes more sense in this universe than the movie one

also i feel like greg was Trying to set up a thing where nile becomes the Leader of The Squad after andy dies but like. its not very well done since. . . i mean, nile hasnt spoken to booker since opening fire, (and she only knew him A Day). and shes known joe and nicky all that time, but there isnt really anything that indicates that they have any relationship at all, much less one that's grown. in all the comicverse the only time nile and nicky speak is in FM, and in that scene nicky tells nile about noriko. nile goes from someone who needs to be set aside to have background knowledge explained to her to being the Leader of the group with nothing in between. it kind of... comes out of nowhere.

on the other hand tho... i felt really bad for andy thru the whole thing. well, i always felt bad for andy, but in this one she seemed so miserable, especially since it really felt like none of the others actually.... cared about her. when noriko came back no one asked andy how she was doing (big question ik, but it wouldve showed they cared at least), nobody ever expressed any concern for her, no one even really seemed to want to be around her. in opening fire everyone was more distant than in the movie of course, but there were little moments where she would joke with joe, or nicky would try and comfort her, or stuff like that, but in FM it really felt like they just didnt really care about her. & in opening fire it felt a lot like andy's relationship with nile breathed some new life into her, but in FM it felt like all they did was argue. i get theyre not *as* close in the comics but it really felt like the only person who cared about andy at all was noriko (which was probably also how andy felt) but it just seemed to come out of nowhere. honestly i was reading and i was honestly agreeing with andy that she might just be better off if she did just die. opening fire, on the other hand, never make me feel that way

tho everyone made it sound like when the squad split up it was one of those cursed 'the found family leaves each other at the end of the journey' tropes. but guys i mean,,, this is the second installment out of three. that isnt the End. theyll come back in the third one and Dramatically Reunite to fight some baddies (probably those 'others' noriko mentioned). im guessing yitzhak fits into that too somehow.

anyways it wasnt That Bad but it made me kind of sad and the only Sweet Found Family vibes in it were when they saved booker. also they shouldve beefed up that nilemoose romance, it underwhelmed me. 6.5/10

i also ABSOLUTELY understand all of greg's comments about how you couldnt make FM directly into a movie, he always said that it had no plot and. i get it now. it really didnt have a plot sdfghjkl

opinions on riordanverse ; my edition

a lot of people have been doing this so i decided why not right. probably gna lose some followers or smth but anyways. pls respect my opinions! if u disagree, thats fine, but please be polite. unless any of my opinions strikes u as morally wrong then pls point it out to me respectfully. thanks!

- i actually liked drew. im so sorry to everyone who hates her but full offence, why. think about it this way ok, first of all drew became hc because silena died. silena was the traitor, the one who betrayed chb, yet after she died campers celebrated her as a hero? and then drew suddenly has to replace her and live up to idk that legacy she left behind,, when all of a sudden this girl named piper swoops in and takes her place. idk abt u but i wld be salty abt that too. not only that, but as an asian, the chances of drew having faced racism/bullying as a child is pretty high (she studies at brooklyn academy). which means that when she finds out shes a demigod, and arrives at chb where most of the campers are white (this is an assumption btw), she’d obviously be scared of being bullied for her skin color right?? so the first thing she wld do before the campers get to bully her is to bully them before they can do so. (sentence structure here is wack i apologize) ofc this might not even have happened, drew could have had a perfect childhood && was a b1tch for no reason, BUT EVEN THEN HER ROLE AS A BULLY WAS PRETTY VITAL BECAUSE THAT FURTHER SHOWED THE CONTRAST BETWEEN HER AND PIPER,, HIGHLIGHTING PIPER AS A HERO//GOOD CHARACTER,, AND THEREFORE MAKING READERS LIKE PIPER MORE. anyway stop hating on drew please. ALSO WHY IS THIS SO LONGA SDFJHG

- jason isnt bland, the fandom just kinda erased his backstory (thanks to @pjohoo-memes for the phrasing lol)

- reynabeth wouldnt have lasted/would have broken up several times. idk i just see them as two extremely powerful characters who have firm opinions and will definitely clash at some point. in a platonic relationship,, i can see them as really good friends but as lovers? idk i just think theyll break up

- the fandom needs to stop hating on octavian while worshipping luke. if u hate luke and u say u hate octavian too, then okay. but if u tell me ure a luke stan but u despise octavian?? imma disagree w u. luke was worse than octavian im sorry. first of all, octavian being a dick was kinda justified. hes been after the praetor position for so long, and everyone keeps saying to “wait for jason” when suddenly this dude, whos a son of NEPTUNE (neptune wasnt liked much by romans), and the camp decides to make him praetor?? dude i would be pissed off big time. and then afterwards, he finds out that greek demigods are real and the dude they made praetor is greek. AND THEN GREEK DEMIGODS COME TO CJ AND ONE OF THEM BOMB IT UP?? octavian has been told all his life that greeks are scum and this dude called leo valdez attacks cj. sure it was an accident, but did octavian know that? no. so it was honestly justified that he was such a salty prick im just saying. also some of yall be hating on octavian for cutting a teddy bear open and thats the funniest shit ive ever heard i swear

- luke didnt go to elysium

- travis and connor stoll r way too underrated. the two have been head counselors of the hermes cabin since luke was revealed as a traitor, can u imagine the stress? luke, the person they probably looked up to as a brother, betrayed them. and they didnt even have time to process this when they were thrown the roles of being hcs. that would have been so stressful and i would probably have broken down if i were them. the stoll brothers taking turns to wake up at ungodly hours because a new camper is crying and homesick and terrified, the stoll brothers having to comfort and take care of new campers, having to deal with the amount of people in that cramped space because not enough campers are being claimed fast enough. having to resolve issues between campers in the hermes cabin all the time. the stolls arent just comedic relief, and we need to stop treating them as such

- tratie shldve been canon idc idc

- demigods of the demeter cabin arent talked about enough and i love the fact that meg was demeters kid. like she isnt the child of one of the big three yet shes so powerful.

- we need to hype clarisse up more her character arc was phucking amazing

- rachel is overhated. sis found out greek gods exist and regularly come down to earth to fuck around and went “ok cool”. queen shit behavior methinks

- the floor 19 crew of mcga is srsly underrated. like do u even remember halfborn gunderson, mallory keen, tj, etc??? bc i feel like we only remember samirah, magnus, alex, and sometimes blitz and hearthstone

- sadie (tkc) was kinda annoying at first. i like her more now tho but i rmb not liking her for a phat while

- tkc and mcga need more love

- carter kane and jason grace arent boring. theyre just really sweet boys who are too good for this world and yes yes yes

- hazel and frank (especially frank) need to be hyped up more. i hardly ever see anything about them. also yall seem to forget that frank was literally made praetor and that even hecate admired hazel and was willing to fight beside her because of how powerful she was

- frazels age gap is kinda sketch but i still think theyre really cute

- nico definitely had trauma from going to tartarus on his own

- GROVER IS PERCYS BEST FRIEND

- annabeth isnt smarter than leo but neither is leo smarter than annabeth. ive seen a lot of discussions about who is smarter and heres my hot take on it: neither. theyre equally smart, just in different ways. leos a genius mathematically speaking. he has no issues solving math problems meant for people much, much older than him. annabeth on the otherhand, is great at strategies etc. she can make an army of 1000 more powerful than the enemy, even if theyre outnumbered. so in my opinion, both are equally as smart//u cant compare their intelligence, because their talents lie in two different areas.

- while i do agree rick riordan isnt a god and that hes bound to make mistakes,, AND that hes given us a lot of representation,, if the representation offends the people its sposed to represent, then theres a problem. im talking about piper as a poc and wearing feathers in her hair. im not a poc, so i cant speak for them on whether or not its wrong, because i dont know either. HOWEVER, i have seen multiple posts BY pocs talking about how they didnt really like rick’s representation of piper, and thats an issue. pocs have been and are still oppressed and discriminated against by many. as a white cis man, we cant really blame him for not knowing (tho he could have done a research,, asked some pocs,, idk), but by representing pocs in that manner, hes influencing impressionable kids/teens into thinking “oh pocs wear feathers in their hair all the time” etc, which isnt true. the pjo/hoo series is extremely successful, and kids who read the books will probably start forming inaccurate opinions on pocs. the amount of fan art that depicts piper with feathers in her hair dont help either. “but rick said so in the books, so its canon” yeah well rick isnt a god and he can get some things wrong at times. im not saying we should cancel him, im saying we should start educating ourselves and not spread false info like pocs wearing feathers in their hair all the time. also that snake song shit where she sang Summertime was just- yeah. bc heres the thing you can be racist, and still include minorities, but portray them in a racist way. And even then, ignorance isn't a thing to admire. Getting those facts wrong still has a major impact. It continues to perpetuate racist stereotypes.

- the fact that most of the strong female characters in the series refuse to be “girly”, and ngl i dont really like that. just because ure girly doesnt mean u cant be strong.

- piper would have been a great way for him to start making the strong characters act girlier, but instead he went with the “I’m not like other girls” trope which is quite obnoxious to hear constantly, and I don’t think it’s necessarily great for younger girls to read that idea growing up. the closest we've ever had to a strong female character who was also into "girly" things was Silena. when I was younger I admired Piper's "I'm not like other girls" thing, but then I got older and realized that the whole mentality of "not like other girls" is super obnoxious, and a little bit toxic

Don't know if it's boring, but I can't stop thinking about hc's for Slytherin!reader, who ends up being really good at quidditch and joining the team. ash and cal (I can't pick their houses) are super into her because she's so cool and powerful, and they're always trying to show off in the games against her, but end up being super distracted all the time. And then one day the reader gets hurt in the game just to open her eyes and find the two waiting for her to wake up ending with poly!cashton

-this concept is a mood so im so happy you sent it in babe

-okay so Slytherin!Reader

-Slytherin Ash ( @irwinkitten convinced me on this, more on it to come later)

-and fuck it lets go Hufflepuff Cal because i’ve never written him as a squishy lil puff

-okay, so from year one it was obvious you were going to be a force to be reckoned with on a broom

-we’re talking you being team captain, chosen for first line and you being on the pitch for almost the entirety of every game

-you are breathtaking to watch

-you really push your team to be the best it can be, and on the flip side, teams you play against really make an effort against you because you’re the one to beat

-Ashton plays his absolute best because he loves the way you praise him after a good match

-the two of you are probably the best players on the team and your house is completely in love with the both of you

-Hufflepuff!Calum is also a team captain

-he respects you a lot because even he has to admit you’re amazing

-whenever he’s not playing and you are, he watches from the stands, eyes on you the entire game because you’re just brilliant

-and whenever he’s playing against you, he kind of lives for post match talks as the two of you walk to the change rooms because as captains, you’re both really civil and it’s important that you are sportsman-like

-its game day, Slytherin vs Hufflepuff

-you and Ash walk into the great hall and sit at your table, the table erupting in a small cheer because their two star Quidditch players have arrived

-Cal watches you from the Hufflepuff table with Hufflepuff!Michael and Gryffindor!Luke

-breakfast continues, Cal’s eyes shifting to you every now and again

-as you and Ash are leaving the great hall you stop by the Hufflepuff table, “hey Cal, hope you’re at your best today, I think it’s going to be a good one.”

-he grins, a blush rising in his cheeks, “hope you’re feeling at your best, you’ll need to be to beat us today.”

-”ouch, a Hufflepuff with teeth? im shocked.” you laugh, leaving with Ashton who is somewhat indifferent to the whole thing

-after all, you and Cal are captains so the fact that you’re civil is, again, not a shock

-it reaches game time and all of you shake hands before the match

-(i just realized, i dont know if this is a thing in other places? in Canada we do this before soccer games? or after? i don’t know. lol. go with it i guess.)

-Cal’s hand shake lasts a little longer, his smile a little bigger

-as soon as you’re all on your brooms you’re in game mode and you are sexy as fuck

-the game starts and you were right about it, this game is definitely the kind of game that has everyone on the edge of their seats

-you’re racing around and Ashton gets just a tad too distracted. it’s never happened before. he’s a little off his game since the morning when you talked to Cal, he tried to make it seem like it didn’t bug him but he had to admit the Hufflepuff!captain was getting under his skin

-and then it happens

-a bludger barrels towards you, you swerve and it narrowly misses a full impact but still clips your broom, sending you off balance and falling towards the ground

-the entire crowd screams and as you hit the ground everything goes black

-the next thing you know you’re waking up in a hospital bed

-you let out a groan and this signals the guys on either side of you to speak, “Y/N don’t try to move-” “Y/N it’s all my fault.”

-”one at a time.” you say, your team captain voice emerging even in your state

-you blink away the blurriness to see Ashton on your left and Cal on your right

-”what happened?” you ask

-Calum opens his mouth to speak but Ashton gets there first, “a bludger knocked you from your broom. it’s my fault. i should have been watching you. you hit your head and went unconscious. i’m really sorry Y/N.”

-”it wasn’t his fault.” Calum tries to explain, “we all know Hufflepuff has one of the best beaters in the school. you couldn’t have gotten there in time mate.”

-Ashton looks to Calum and his expression softens, as does his grip on your hand that you hadn’t realized he had

-they both have one of your hands

-”who won?” you ask.

-this makes them both laugh in relief, because of course that would be your next question.

-”you fell and got escorted off the pitch, everyone was really distracted after that, Slytherin just couldn’t play without their captain-” Calum begins to explain.

-”Just say it Cal, you caught the snitch.” you laugh slightly before wincing, pulling your hand away from Cal to touch your head, finding a bandage there, “is a bandage really necessary?”

-”Pomfry says you’ll be fine in an hour or so.” Ashton answers, taking a bit of enjoyment in the fact that you let go of Cal’s hand not his

-you sigh, putting your hand down again on top of Calum’s and Ashtons enjoyment fades

-”thank you both for being here, Calum you did your duty as opposing Captain so if you have better things to be doing, i understand.” you say finally

-”i’ll stay… if that’s okay with you.” Calum says

-so they both stay and you try to kill time while waiting for the hour to be up so Pomfry will let you leave

-”so what’s with the two of you holding my hands?” you ask, “sorry i’m still a little loopy.”

-”liar.” Ashton laughs, avoiding the question

-Calum’s thumb starts to rub the top of your hand and this soft Hufflepuff is just like “i don’t know about Ashton, but i’m holding your hand because i think you’re a bad ass but even bad asses need comfort sometimes.”

-and of course Ashton needs to say something but like: “well how the fuck am i supposed to follow up after that?”

-you all laugh

-Pomfry telling you you’re good to go and can change back into your clothes out of the hospital gown

-you leave to go do that and while you’re gone Ashton and Calum are both just like “you’re into her arent you?” “yeah you too?” “yeah.” “fuck.”

-”well i’m in her house-” “opposites attract.”

-”i’m going to ask her out.” “me too.” “okay.” “sort this out later?” “yeah.”

-but as soon as you get back Cal is like “Y/N let me buy you a drink at The Three Broomsticks to celebrate your recovery.” and Ashton rolls his eyes like “easy for the match winner to say. i’m coming too.”

-the three of you walking down to the Three Broomsticks

-you almost slipping on ice and they both steady you immediately, grabbing your hands

-you all laugh, “maybe you hit your head harder than we thought, i’ve never seen you this clumsy.” Cal grins

-”and you spend a lot of time watching me?” you tease

-him and Ashton both stop laughing immediately and you know you’ve hit a nerve

-”okay what is up with you two today?” you laugh, “i mean the hand holding, and the bickering, and now drinks?”

-”we both like you.” Ashton sighs, causing the Hufflepuff to flush completely

-”both of you?”

-”yeah.”

-realizing you’re still holding both of their hands

-both of their hands

-how the fuck would you choose when having both of them just feels right?

-”polyamory.” you blurt. they both stare at you, “you know, dating two people?”

-they look at each other then at you and you’re all surprised when Cal says “i could be okay with that.” “me too.”

-your grip tightens around their fingers as the two of you walk to get drinks

-you all just talk, mostly about Quidditch

-a few people in The Three Broomsticks coming over to see how you are because practically everyone was at the game in the morning

-Gryffindor!team captain Luke and Hufflepuff Michael walk in and immediately come over, “Y/N, glad to see you’re doing better.” Luke beams, “just wouldn’t be the same kicking Slytherin ass next weekend without you leading the uphill battle.”

-Gryffindor!team captain Luke is a cocky shit

-”keep talking Hemmings, that way when we kick your ass it will be even funnier.” Ashton grins.

-”ouch.” Luke says, taking a seat at the table, “you sure about that Irwin?”

-”you can’t sit with us.” Calum states. shocking all of you again.

-”wow Puff, you letting these Slytherins corrupt you?” Luke laughs

-”don’t call him Puff.” Ashton interjects

-Luke looking between the three of you and then he realizes, “this isnt just a friendly post match drink is it?”

-Ashton opens to his mouth then closes it, he looks at Cal and they both look at you

-”we’re on a date.” you state.

-”the three of you? are on a date?” Luke repeats, looking between all of you, i mean he kinda guessed it but hearing you say it is a whole other ball park

-”yeah. and what about it?” you ask, crossing your arms. Ashton laughs, crossing his arms too and finally Cal crosses his arms and you all stare down Luke

-two snakes and a badger staring down a Lion

-”well i’ll leave then.” Luke says, finally breaking and standing to leave

-as soon as he’s gone you and Ashton turn to Calum, “wow, look at you Puff, who knew you could be so intimidating.” Ashton grins.

“i thought you said not to call me Puff.” Calum asked.

-”i’m allowed to call you Puff.” Ashton states ”how did you even end up in Hufflepuff?” Ashton asks, “besides the tendency to blush.”

-Calum shrugs, “guess i’m just a softy. you’ll see.” he winks at you

-the three of you laugh and the bill comes…. so who pays? both of them pay for you which means the tip is enough to buy an entire extra drink

-this is an interesting triad

-because Ash is a dom but he’s not the Slytherin team captain, you are

-and Cal is a dom, a little softer, but he’s the Hufflepuff team captain

-and you are a force to be reconned with as the Slytherin team captain

-so a lot of different power dynamics

-you and Ash walk Cal back to his dorm

-you go in for a hug and kiss his cheek but as you both pull away slightly you find yourselves going in for the full kiss

-its soft, very Hufflepuff, pure and sweet

-smiling when you pull away

-him saying goodnight to you and Ashton

-Ashton’s arm going over your shoulders as you walk, “aw, you’re blushing Captain. didn’t realize you’d have such a soft spot for a Hufflepuff.”

-”you seemed pretty sweet on him too Ash.” you point out

-Ash scoffs but remains silent

-walking past some Slytherins and they all whistle because you and Ash have been the Slytherin Ship for ages

-he walks you all the way to your room and he pulls you to his chest, “gotta admit, seeing you and Hood was kinda hot.”

-”just kinda?”

-he laughs, one hand coming up and cupping your face as his lips press against yours. his other arm wraps around your waist as he clutches you close, hand sliding down to your bum and making you giggle as you pull away, “okay Ash, that’s enough.”

-he grins, “you sure you’re feeling okay?”

-”yeah my head’s fine i think. Pomfy fixed me up.”

-”okay, but if you need anything or you can’t sleep, come grab me okay?”

-another quick kiss and then you enter your dorm

-the girls you share a room with are all freaking out, “so you were with Ashton and Calum?!” they all scream

-”yeah, my head is fine, thanks for asking.” you laugh

-”that poor Puff, he’s going to be crushed when you choose Ashton.” one of them sighs.

-”he won’t because i’m not choosing.” you state, collapsing in bed

-a thousand questions. the Slytherin girls all think Calum is hot, i mean, everyone does, but he’s a Hufflepuff? they are shook

-And Ashton is cool with it? they are shook

-you, Ash and Calum meeting up the next morning for breakfast and Calum is kinda just like “is it bad i’m happy you got injured? i mean, i’m not happy you got injured but you got injured and now-”

-”we get it Cal.”

-he blushes so much

-he’s so soft

-you have a bit of a headache but you’re a strong Slytherin and you’re not about to go to the infirmary so your guys walk you up to your dorm room, all your room mates are gone so you all just chill

-lying on the bed with your legs dangling off the side so the three of you can fit

-Ashton teases the shit out of Calum

-and Calum kinda takes it but you see him coming more and more out of his Hufflepuff shell to reveal a few Slytherin traits buried underneath

-”i know a great cure for a headache.”

-one thing leads to another and soon you’re pressed between them as Ashtons hands wander your bum and Calum’s unbutton your shirt

-Ashton takes the dom position which is actually kinda funny because you and Cal are the captains

-”just for the record, i am not calling either of you Captain.” Ashton says as hes helping you wiggle out of your pants

-”yeah, i’m more into Sir. or Daddy.” Cal agrees

-you and Ashton being shocked by him

-he just keeps shocking you both

-your sweet, soft, Hufflepuff is dirtier than either of you imagined

-Cal’s kinda a Slytherin in the sheets a Hufflepuff in the streets?

-like and and Ash riff off of each other and it’s mind blowing

-so there’s like no space on the bed after but you all somehow manage

-this is where Soft Hufflepuff Cal comes out

-running his fingers over your skin

-sweet kisses

-but Ashton is a Slytherin so he just watches

-he thinks it’s sweet af

-you all hearing your room mates coming up the stairs and you all freak out, Ashton is fastest throwing clothes on so he jumps out of the bed and goes out the door to intercept them

-your room mates all freaking out at seeing a shirtless Ashton Irwin in front of their bedroom door

-but they’re Slytherins and they can be savage, “aw, did your Captains send you out here to play guard dog?”

-ouch, that one hurts

-Ashton opens the door for them and Cal is still looking for his shirt, he freezes at the group of Slytherin girls ogling him

-he picks up a shirt and throws it on and runs away with Ashton laughing

-Ashton comes in and is more comfortable with it, finding his shirt, then he realizes “that damn Puff took the wrong shirt.”

-that shirt becomes the shirt you all share

-so Ashton is a typical Slytherin and he is loyal as fuck

-no one can rip into Calum ever again

-or Ashton will fight them

-and Calum is the softest muffin so he brings so much love and warmth

-a bad ass but super soft triad

-and ya’ll are a force on the Quidditch Field

-the three of you using the Quidditch change room for sinful things

-practicing Quidditch together

-good luck kisses

-good luck kisses followed by “break a leg.” “you’d like that wouldn’t you?” “yeah cuz then we’d win.”

-but always being happy for whoever wins when you play against each other

-and amazing post quidditch match sex after winning games

-aggressive, pent up, angry sex after losing games

-your teams getting super rowdy about love bites and scratch marks

-the Hufflepuffs being kinda weird about the fact that their golden boy is dating two Slytherins

-Hufflepuff hearts breaking everywhere the day Cal first refers to you as his girlfriend and Ashton as his boyfriend

-also hearts melting though

-the Slytherins being kinda like “wtf.” about it because you’re dating not only a Hufflepuff, but a super sweet team captain Hufflepuff?

-but no one would ever accuse you of going soft

-if anything, you and Ash are even more hard core because you have someone (someones) to protect so fiercely

-Ash is the king of being sneaky so he always finds places for quickies

-people getting used to seeing Ashton dragging you dragging Calum through the halls

-Quidditch afterparties where the three of you are waaay too rowdy

-Ashton loves PDA, Cal is not as into it because he always becomes a blushing mess but that just leads to more kissing and face squishing

-closets barely fit two let alone three

-Calum falling out of broom closets more than once

they think about adopting a girl and within a month of confirmation, they’re finally able to bring her home (and shes a lil toddler and they’re both just so in awe and in love with her already)

they decide to name her Sol (in honor of Sanasol, of course)

they had an extra room in their flat so they decorated it all nice and they had so much fun while doing

especially isak, he was so excited to be a parent with the love of his life right beside him the whole way

the first night is a bit hectic but they manage to pull through bc even made her some mac n cheese and she loved it and shes already so attached to isak and never wants to leave his arms

a few months after isak is trying to teach her how to walk and even is just sitting on the couch watching the whole thing and smiling and thinking wow this is my family. i have a stable and healthy family.

isak barely gets any sleep bc of Sol never wanting him to leave her but eventually he gets her to sleep after a few hours after he bed time and he is whooped so he just climbs into bed with even when hes done and even just holds him and they fall asleep together

unfortunetly sol is an early riser so they have to be up and ready at around 7:30 which is before she throws a hissy fit at 8 if they arent awake by then

even loves cooking up a lil breakfast for Sol such as mini pancakes with small smiles and scrambled eggs and they all just eat at the table together as a family with evens and isaks legs tangled underneath the table

for one of her birthdays they invited everyone over, the balloon squad, the boy squad, the girl squad, eskild, linn, isaks parents, evens parents, and absolutely everyone brought gifts for sol bc they were so in love with her

flash forward a few months and its time for Sol to start school and isak and even couldnt be prouder

bc isak was able to braid her hair into two little pigtails and even picked out the cutest outfit

‘now be careful and dont run around on the playground, you might trip and hurt yourself, okay?’ is all isak could keep saying to her bc he didnt want his little baby getting hurt

‘dont share foods or drinks, that can give you some bad stuff’ and isak just kept giving sol so many tips on what not to do that could effect her healthwise and even just laughed about it

but they were both still pretty emotional and missed her a lot during her first day

when it was time to pick her up sol was so happy and wouldnt stop talking about her day but what got isak and even the most was when sol said

‘we had this thing where we had to say something about ourselves and i said i had two daddies and everyone was like thats so cool and they were really happy for me’

that really struck isak the most bc hes always been so cautious about others finding about his relationship with even but that just struck a soft spot in his heart forever

sol has troubles falling asleep at night bc shes been so hyper all day from her first day and all isak and even had to say to her to fall asleep that the next day she could go back and have way more fun and just like that she was out like a light

on a friday night, they decide to let Sol stay up a little later but she crashes at around 10 so isak carries her to bed and tucks her in

isak and even eventually just sit on the couch in the living room drinking wine and just holding hands and isak just has to say it

‘im so glad i have you and sol in my life. i couldnt be happier. i have the best job, the best apartment, the best husband, the best daughter. how else could it get more perfect’

even smiles, shrugging, ‘i can say just the same about you. i love you. and sol. so much.’

they kiss, of course, but they end up having to stop themselves bc they know now that they have a child they need to be aware of

eventually they run out of wine bc there wasnt much in there anyway and they crawl into bed together and they know tomorrow is going to bring so much more happiness

FROM ONE PIKACHU TO ANOTHER sidenote do they play pokemon in the au do they have fave pokes. also i can't wait for alex and maggie to meet and realize they're soulmates and to be like "ok but i'm still mad about the trex and feathers thing" and then forl ucy to come in like "guys theyve been dead for years"

oh oh dude okay so I hadn’t really thought about it in context of the soulmate au specifically so it hasn’t been mentioned and it probably won’t be but they totally do and on valentines day when Magie is like 6 she doodles a pokeball and some cheesy shit like I choose you to be my soulmate and it’s adorable.

Also that is totally like an ongoing ‘fight’ Alex and Maggie have, like Maggie actually took some paleontology classes for funsies and as an adult she actually thinks it’s really cool the kind of strides we’ve made in science and the hows and whys T-Rexes probably had feathers but then there’s the little kid nostalgia and Alex gets so worked about science facts so Maggie just ‘nope 15 years later and it’s still lame’ and they bicker endlessly about it

And when Lucy is like ‘guys guess what? they’ve been dead for years, technically none of them have feathers anymore.’

Maggie looks up at her with the biggest saddest eyes and Alex pouts because she was going to get Maggie to see reason this time but now look at how sad she is and Lucy is just jfc how did I end up with such nerds for soulmates and she has to go put on Jurassic Park 2 and cuddle with them(Jurassic Park is Maggie’s go to comfort movie but Jurassic Park: The Lost World is Lucy’s ‘I fucked up by saying the dinosaurs were extinct to end an argument so now we have to watch a T-Rex rampage through San Diego to balance it out).

Sooooo….I got so carried away with various pokemon hcs that I had to put it under a cut….

I have so many poke hc’s for them in general but like I tend hc Maggie as a gamer, little Maggie growing up and she can’t afford to collect the cards but she loves the anime and eventually saves up enough to get a gameboy color. Her first game is red and she plays it so many times she practically wears out the cartridge. She’s the first person (and only for awhile) in blue springs to catch Mew. She eventually collects and plays all the games and she’s a complete expert on all the glitches and secrets.

Alex was more of a casual fan she watched the anime sometimes but Vicky liked playing the games so Alex asked her parents to buy her a gameboy color and trading pokemon on the playground is probably the most social Alex ever was without alcohol.

She did really REALLY get into collecting the cards though and at one point Maggie and Alex visit Eliza in Midvale and Alex’s room is as she left it. Maggie is having fun poking around and teasing Alex for her Xena memorabilia and Dana Scully and BtVS posters(seriously Danvers, Faith is practically eye-fucking the camera in that one across from your bed how did you not know) when she finds the three thick Pokemon card binders and freezes. Alex notices and grabs them like I totally forgot I had these and she starts flipping through one reminiscing and handing another to Maggie and Maggie almost shits herself because Alex has a first edition base set holo Charizard, she has all the starters, she has all the original 151 cards in various editions from different series and collections , She has holos, she has Japanese cards, she has shining cards. Kara ends up stopping by because I could hear Maggie’s erratic heart rate from National city and ‘holy shit is everyone okay?’

Alex’s attachment to the cards is more nostalgia than anything so she’s like you can have them if you want, Maggie almost has a heart attack. Of course she refuses those cards are worth more than she makes in a month but Alex brings them back to National City and they just kind of end up ‘Maggie’s’ anyway.

Lucy collected the cards too but she actually played the trading card game. Being an army brat could be isolating but pokemon in the 90s was inescapable and it was something to do on any base, in any school she ended up in for awhile. Lucy played to win and for keeps and she ended up with her own pretty decent collection of cards even though hers aren’t nearly in the kind of mint condition Alex’s are in. Maggie still hyperventilates sometimes if she catches sight of the 5 card binders on the bookcase(Alex organized Lucy’s collection from an old shoebox into binders of their own).

For her birthday Lucy and Alex get Maggie an unopened special edition pokemon gameboy color from the yellow bundle. She cries because she had wanted that one more than anything as a kid but couldn’t afford it and they spend the night cuddled up together playing pokemon on their gameboys like the nerds they are.

Maggie and Winn stay up all night outside gamestop for the 20th aanniversary red and blue 3ds bundle.

Maggie’s ultimate fav is Bulbasaur she remembers watching the anime and wishing she had one to protect her from the bullies and eventually she gets older and decides she may never have a Bulbasaur but she can be one for others.

She has a bunch of favorites though including pikachu (she will physically fight anyone who says something about anyone not being a ‘real fan’ because pikachu is too famous or popular a pokemon), Aerodactly, Kabuto(her first body on the beach she sees a horseshoe crab and has to try really hard not to lose her shit because she’s from landlocked nebraska, and she is looking a kabuto and basically it’s an effort to remind herself that she is a newly promoted detective that needs to get her shit together) Tauros, Nidoqueen, Donphan, Tyranitar(basically if it’s vaguely dino-like she has a soft spot but dragons can go either way stemming from her childhood belief they arent as cool as dinos), Mightyena, Groudon, alright I’m going to stop but she develops favorites in each gen.

Alex meanwhile is staunchly first gen and she and Maggie bicker about constantly.

Alex tended to favor water pokemon but not exclusively some of her faves Lapras, Vaporeon, Porygon, Starmie, Dratini, Ninetails, Abra/Alakazam and Onix. She also has a secret soft spot for Togepi as well as Espeon and Umbreon who she thinks of kind of like her and Kara, sun and moon and argues that they still technically count as 1st gen because they’re eevee evolutions.

Lucy is mostly only really familiar with the first gen and some of the second but she doesn’t really care either way and will choose sides based on maximum amusement for the moment. Some of her favs include Squirtle/Blastoise, Arcanine, Pidgeot, Nidoking, Machamp, Lickitung, Gyarados, Flareon.

And well Alex is a BIOengineer and she studies alien physiology and genetic engineering and if anyone was going to ‘accidentally’ create real life pokemon it would be her okay.

(mostly I just really think J'onn needs a Ditto…..)

And I was talking about this with nerdsbianhokie ages ago and they pointed out that Alex has seen Jurassic Park enough times to know to not create large creatures that can kill humans and would probably go with the mini-zoo variety and then they blessed me with the mental image of a tiny little Ditto riding on J'onn’s shoulder.

Vasquez would end up making obligatory pocket size jokes that they don’t even pretend aren’t about Maggie and Lucy. They’d only stop when Alex threatens to withhold the actual mini pocket monsters from them and even then only when They’re within ear shot of Alex.

The spacefam ending up with mini-pokemon protectors. Maggie gets her fucking Bulbasaur and everyone cries.

And then my dude I have not even touched on pokemon go hc’s

Kara blowing an entire paycheck on upgrading her pokemon storage because she can’t bring herself to turn any of her duplicates into candy and she needs to catch every single pokemon she sees. She has like a thousand pidgeys at this point.

Nerdsbianhokie was like but Kara being upset that she flies too fast for the app.

And Alex/Maggie/Lucy? Pokemon go would be terrible and awesome for those competitive nerds. They have zero shame.

Lucy exploits her military contacts, her and Alex abuse DEO resources, Alex makes Kara fly her around the world to get the region locked pokemon.

After Lucy came back from a ‘work trip’ in Asia with a Farfetch’d, Alex made Kara take the day off and wouldn’t let them go home til she had multiple Farfetch'ds, Kangeshkans, and Mr. Mimes.

Maggie tries to keep up but detecting only gets her so far. She does have a network of ppl who are the type to text the location of a Lapras at 3am.When Kara realizes the edge Lucy and Alex have she starts exclusively helping Maggie.

Alex is completely overdramatic like my own sister, MY OWN SISTER pretending to pretend to make a huge production about loyalty. And Kara’s just like ‘I’m just being fair besides Lucy and Maggie are my sisters too at this point’ and Alex just melts. She also gets Winn to build her a long range Jet pack into the kryptonite suit in an attempt and get back on top of the game but she’s melty while doing it.

Winn Mr.tech genius manages to get himself banned from ‘suping’ up his account and has to start over at level 21. He cries.

As repayment for not commenting upon the melty-ness during the jet pack building Alex takes his phone with her on flights since he had to start over. Of course, being Alex she doesn’t actually say this she just sort of punches his arm in thanks, steals the phone and drops it back into his lap later with a few eggs hatched, some new pokemon and a full items inventory.

Lucy realizes she’s the only one currently unable to fly which oh hell no so she starts scheming.

‘Director Lane, did you requisition military resources for a video game?’ 'Of course not, it’s an app.’ (via nerdsbianhokie)

Vasquez is the first to get the original 151….All of them… no one understands, they have no obvious hacks, seemingly haven’t left North America, Ditto is still a spoty rumor at that point and Mewtwo is confirmed as not yet available or even programed and yet… Vasquez has them. When anyone asks They deflect and says you should see my wife’s.

Erin is level 48 way too early in the game.She has a Mew. Everyone is kinda of scared of them after learning about it, the true power couple.

No one ever figures out how they did it.

J’onn just wants his agents to behave like professionals and bans non-related phone use during working hours after seven agents ran away from their posts to catch a Charizard. He’s in the middle of lecturing them when Lucy and Alex stroll in like did you guys see that Charizard?!

(Kara downloaded the app to his phone and J’onn totally caught the Charizard)

James takes pictures of the gang doing absolutely ridiculous things while trying the catch pokemon and it becomes a meme.

There’s a gym (The D.E.O was also accidently made a gym what no Vasquez and Winn had nothing to do with that what are you talking about) accessible from Alex’s apartment and it’s a bloodbath because they’re all on different teams, Maggie-Instinct, Lucy-Valor and Alex-Mystic.

Just yea……uhmmm this all got away from me *shrugs sheepishly*
