I just read a published book that was SO FUCKIGN BAD that even my worst writing is better than that. because at least I had some passion when I produced dry and unreadable fiction, this book just fucking took some of the best material it could have been handed and turned it into the dust under my bed: grey, boring and easily overlooked

#I could never say this about fanfiction cause at least people either like or hate whatever thing they are writing about #like or *dislike #instead of this indifference and refusal to show or portray any emotion #besides fucking DIALOGUE TAGS LIKE 'called out' like bitch is that really the hieght of your emotion?#are you fucking kidding me #uh huh 'he cried' and what about the way his shoulders slump and he avoids eye contact and then picks at his book to keep his hands busy #what is he thinking #show me his thoughts #bitch make me care dont just fucking describe it like I am watching it through the window from half a kilometre away #this fucking post has more emotion than this entire book and someone literally fucking died in that book #ARGH
