It's so funny though that Sega ended up with the title "Sonic X Shadow Generations". I'm sure there's at least one Wattpad Sonadow fanfiction with a similar title.
My delusional ass daydreaming about meeting the love of my life when all I do is stay at home all day reading, cycling through the same 3 apps and watching films/tv shows.
I def get the complaints people(and I also) have about Vivziepop’s character design in terms of the body diversity and not just having everyone in the main cast either being tall and thin or petite.
Because shape diversity is an integral part of character designs and silhouette and also just including characters(even fictionalized demons) that aren’t all perpetuating the “common” body image is just…good. To your fanbase.
BUT I feel like complaints about Beelzebub specifically not being fat is somewhat missing the point that this portrayal Beelzebub here is using the concept of Gluttony not to mean just “indulges in food” but “indulges in vices” in general. Gluttony is not just the portrayal in FMA.
I like that she’s a fox/wolf as in the wild some are scavengers(let’s ignore how this is a heavy simplification of the role Scavengers have in animal environments). I think that with how common the troupe of “personified seven deadly sins” I like when there is some individuality about it.
So TLDR:
People should be allowed to be annoyed with Viviziepop’s lack of chubbier main characters but I feel complaining specifically about Beelzebub is counterproductive to this point.
So! It seems my post for today queued early,, so I'm putting in this little discussion/thank you in its stead. I'm so thankful for everyone suddenly appearing?? Like, words can't begin to describe how happy I am that I can share my blorbos/interests with others and that you all get to enjoy them as well. I might not post every day, since sometimes drawing inspiration comes and goes, but for now I have doodles lined up, some newer than others, that I feel confident enough in sharing so that everyone else can enjoy too. Hopefully, we can all continue to vibe and have fun! Also, if you ever have an idea you might think would be cool to try and look up or draw, or something you'd like to ask, feel free to use the ask box! That's all for now, but again, thank you!
I am somewhat interested in watching martial arts but I was never able to watch mma with women. I just could never get over their outfits. But watching that video I reblogged and older Hong Kong movies I realize I do like to watch women being cool in fights, when they wear normal non revealing non tight clothes and are without extensive make up. Because I can associate myself with them in some way and it's more about look she's cool, she can do things, I can do too. Instead of wow she has so much make up, I would never do that, I would never want to dress like that too. Makes me think that I might have avoided women sports for the same reason all along. Even with figure skating or gymnastics, I know they do cool things, but the type of dress and how feminine they are always made me feel othered and unfit bc I'm gnc. Like really, I can't watch it without internally feeling inadequate about myself. With 80s movies, they do have make up, but by modern standards it's very little ironically, I can easier write it off as job requirement. You can see pores on their skin even! Wow! In a movie!
When I realize that I am once again getting fascinated with a white male actor which I know will inevitably lead to me falling down the rabbithole of their filmography and obssessing over them.
"Does this make me a bad person? Do you think I'm a bad person?"
"I think you're a fucking monster."
"Do you really? Is that by your own free will or what you've been led to believe by other people, my love?"
"Does it matter?"
"To me it does."
Chains rattle as hands raise up, showing off wrists rubbed raw. "It's my free will." A click of teeth, a hand running through messy hair, an annoyed huff. "That's not true. Don't be so cruel to me."
A sharp laugh followed by a scoff, head whipping up to meet crazed eyes. "Cruel?! You've got some balls. You're the one who chained me up."
The cold metal of a blade presses against warm flesh, digging into skin and just barely piercing it, and a low voice beside an ear. "Come on, don't be like that. It's me and you until the end. You're with me. Forever with me, my angel."
