4. Historic Time ~ won’t you stay with me, my darling, when my walls start burning down? (x)
I have so many thoughts about Aziraphale and the Library of Alexandria (which, as a friend explained, should actually be translated to Alexandrea). I definitely think he was there when it burned. I also think it could’ve been the first time (one of the only times) Crowley touched him without thinking, and maybe one of the reasons he decided to run a bookshop! I am unwell. Aziraphale would’ve been devastated when that library burned.

*The Bentley wakes up to see the man who spoke to her before, @totally-a-sheep, racing to his bicycle. Down the road is a Rolls Royce with someone familiar at the wheel. Next to her is a giant wall of hellfire.
It's a nightmare but it's real.
She begins to silently scream.
It takes her a few minutes of trying not to look at the fire, waking up completely, and doing the windscreen-wiper anti-panic techniques she learnt from @goodomenstherapist, before she regains enough of herself to be able to move.
She takes off, and comes to a shuddering stop next to the Silver Wraith.
In the driver's seat is Crowley.
//(actually it’s not - it’s @samael-your-guardian-angel - but the car don’t know that!)//
But something is seriously wrong. This isn’t Crowley - this is an angel! Unless… it is Crowley?
No this isn't Crowley, this cannot be Crowley.
Crowley has a car. It’s her. Crowley would not get a new car while she was still roadworthy… unless.. he did?
He wouldn't.
But there was no denying that the driver of the Silver Wraith had her driver's face.
And where was Aziraphale! Why wasn’t Aziraphale there! Unless…
The Bentley did a slow and shaky 3 point turn, and stopped again next to the other car. She idled stationary in the road as she once more faced the giant wall of fire.*

Honestly, this is stupid, but I still cannot get over they blew up the Bentley for real. I mean ...
Is this a rarity? Or not? How many functioning oldtimer Bentley is out there? They didn't even manage to find two matching one, not to mention finding two from the same year, and they just destroyed one of them o.O
I truly had a moment when I came to know this "fun" fact.

I want to point out something I noticed
when crowley bluffs threatens to sell/give away the books
the bentley itself speeds up
aziraphale gets anxious, but he doesn't move his foot, he doesn't have a chance to
the mere mention of aziraphale losing what he loves more than anything again it's more than enough

I cannot believe I am doing this because hearts are my least favorite shapes ever, but here we are. Truth is, every time I watch Good Omens I wonder the same thing when I get to this scene.
Why is Aziraphale's contact picture in Crowley's phone, fire?
While thinking about it and looking at the picture I saw the suggestion of heart shapes hidden between the flames. Are these intentional or just a happy coincidence?
Now as to why is the picture fire? I understand that it wouldn't be smart to have his actual picture there, what if the bosses see it? Wouldn't it make more sense to have a picture of books for example? Probably. But Aziraphale's name is spelled out so hiding him from the bosses might not be the actual reason. Then what is it?
In this scene, Crowley is rushing towards the burning bookshop. Could it be possible that the phone is showing him the current state of the bookshop? That it normally shows the shelves or maybe Aziraphale himself? Unfortunately we don't have any other shot of Aziraphale's contact to see if it shows the same picture or not, but it is an interesting thought.
