i’d rather have rainbow capitalism then living in constant fear of discovery. the woman in the pride flag disney t-shirt might be missing the nuance, but at least i know i can be myself. a street full of rainbow flags makes me more comfortable holding a mans hand. look. corporations aren’t your friend. they will sell to whoever will buy. but kids seeing gay everything every year is only ever a good thing, and a massive improvement in history

If you need help practicing pronouns, try using the pronouns you struggle with on your pets!
Animals have very little understanding of pronouns and human gender. They won't care if you use he, it, she, xie, bun, literally whatever - they only care about you and their food. They'll be fine! However, your loved ones will appreciate your effort in using pronouns, and using them properly. It's a win-win situation!

hiii :) do you have any binding tips for guys w/ large chests (DD+ cups) AND no access to proper binders due to parents + money :(( !! binding is so difficult and frustrating for me because none of the diy tutorials that help everyone else help me because of how large my chest is :( it's been 6 years of transitioning and I still haven't found my miracle cure... sometimes I feel like only surgery can help me which is so out of the question for me so :(
i’d look into free binder programs and getting them shipped to a friends house. here’s one that i’ve heard good things about

"I'm not calling you a bad person or a transphobe or an anti-trans bigot if you buy Hogwarts Legacy, but I will say - don't call yourself a trans ally while you do it. Because being an ally means being willing to give up something to actually stand with trans people. If you're not willing to fight alongside us or to give up something, then you're not really being an ally. You're just doing what you want anyways and just saying you listen to us when you're actively not."

I hate that whenever there's a gay ship, people immediately het-ify it. people are so obsessed with making one the "man" and one the "woman" when that's completely unnecessary, because they are both the man or the woman. It's extremely annoying. these people will completely mischaracterize a character to fit into their stupid little het roles they force on them.
for example, you don't need to make one man the "wife" and feminized him to the extreme and fit him in a traditional "woman" role so the other man can be the big strong masculine manly man. they can both be masculine or both be feminine or both be both at the same time! they do NOT need to be gendered opposites to fit het roles. crazy, I know! it's like no one considers it a possibility! or sees how good it can be to have them be equals without gendered nonsense.
when there's a gay relationship, you have the perfect opportunity for the couple to stand on equal ground. they get to be equals who are just as strong and just as soft as each other. there's no faulty power dynamics where one is above the other (because let's face it, society unfortunately deems masculinity > femininity). one doesn't need to protect the other. they can protect themsleves, fight aide by side as equals. one doesn't do all the housework. they share that duty equally. one isn't weak and pretty, while they other strong and manly. they both are strong and pretty, or masculine and weak at the same time.
equal relationships are amazing and need to be explored more and appreciated. there can be more understanding and working together. i'm bad at explaining what I mean, but I prefer these equal relationships over forcing them into opposite roles to mirror het relationships, which are usually extremely unbalanced and unequal. especially because these not het relationships! so why must they look like one? they can and should look different! so why does literally every shipper and writer out there make them so het coded?
I don't understand why people do this. do they actually believe all romantic relationships must mimic het ones to exist and thrive and purposely force that on them? or have they genuinely just not fathamed that they can be different and dont need to follow the expected het standards?
I wonder, it feels like no one actually knows how non-het relationships are meant to be and how they could work, since het ones are always forced down our throats since birth. it becomes The Standard that everyone thinks they must follow. maybe it's all people know since they don't see any other possibilities. their preferred dynamics for their ships are what we are taught and nothing different, because they don't know it can be different. i also think people might be obsessed with that whole "opposites attract" trope. but that opposite doesn't have to be the traditional het-fueld feminine vs masculine or wife vs husband characteristics. it can be other personality things like one is loud and one is quiet, one is dumb and one is overly smart, one is rich and one poor, etc. it doesn't have to be masculine vs feminine!
BREAK OUT OF THE HET NORMS!!!!! TEAR DOWN HETERONORMATIVITY!!!!!!!!! FREE THE GAYS
(disclaimer, not saying masculine vs feminine ships are all bad/shouldn't be done ever. but it doesn't need to be 100% of the time either 😅 can't think of one ship people dont do this with lol)
#cant even say its only het shippers because lgbt shippers do it too#i enjoy the ships i see more as equals. like cynonari and xingyue for example#first ones that came to mine lol#everyone feminizes the shit out of nari calling him cynos wide constantly but they're both strong leader types with a soft side#wife*#THEYRE SO EQUAL???? AND THAT MAKES THEIR RELATIONSHIP SO STRONG????#then xingyue is funny because ive seen people frame BOTH yingxing and dan feng as the “wife” at different times. proof theyre equals!#maybe not proof lmao but you cant say the arrogant craftsman and proud dragon arent equals who get along super well#they arent het opposites at all imo. not even close#i just really enjoy balanced equals over unbalanced opposites. because the feminine is always seen as lesser and weaker than the masculine#and that always bothers me a lot lmao#im probably the minority here. im giving benefit of the doubt that people just never thought about it and do what theyre taught#but if everyone actually orefers this and its on purpose.......please reconsider 🤣#prefers*#words#lee rambles#gay#lgbtq#gay ships#one relationship i felt was presented as equals (from best of my memory) was korrasami#they balance each other out and i see them as equals. one doesn't lead over the other. they're both leaders in their own ways. and carers#one reason i dont date is because most people are ovsessed with this unbalance opposite gender roles thing and i cant stand it lmao#obsessed* am tired of tag typos i miss until after i hit enter hfhfhdhdjdjsjs#this was long and rambly but i suddenly had many feelings and needed to say them#*

The person who started the Crab Post trend is a transphobe <3 /neg
Yeah and the official crab day shirt is designed by a trans man, me. Just because a dickhead started the thing doesn’t mean I can’t block them and make it my own 💖

As somebody who currently cannot afford books, thank you SO much for making yours free, even for a little while. I don't think I've ever come across another author who has done that (at most, I've seen maybe one author who explicitly said pirating their books was okay), and it means so so much that I have a chance to read it. <3
I guess I haven't seen it much myself but I think I must have- it must be more common in indie spaces, because obviously Good Angel/Bad End is self published and I own the rights. My other published book, Angel Radio, was with a small press so I technically couldn't.
With indie books*, you gotta realize you just can't like ever make any money off them either. Not enough to live off. It is nice when it can pay for food but often you're self pubbing on your own cash and can only hope to pay it back to even. (*note: a bunch of self and indie books do sell crazy well. not typically lgbt weird not-romance ones like mine)
So, the best and main way to get anything done as a self pub'd author is to hope people bother to talk about your book- put it in recc lists, mention it to friends, care about it at all. To do that they have to read it, and to do that they have to buy it, and suddenly it is extremely hard to get anyone to give a rat's ass. removing the price makes it more accessible and also clears some of the steps for it actually ever get read. I kinda just want people to read it some time if it seems like their fancy and hopefully have a good time, and word of mouth and making it free is the only avenues I got
thank you also, this was just me autistically rambling on-ish subject

The response to transphobia is not to perpetuate other forms of bigotry. It is never okay to be racist, Islamophobic, Antisemetic, fatphobic, sexist or intersexist, any combination of the above or with any other form of bigotry when somebody is transphobic.
Combating transphobia can look like admonishing transphobic arguments made by somebody, but it is never a pass to be bigoted yourself. It is just as bad to be racist as it is to be bigoted against any other group.
Trans liberation will never be achieved through stomping on other groups. It is understandable to be angry about transphobia. It is not understandable to use that anger as a justification to be bigoted. You will find trans people in those same groups - you will find Black trans people, trans Muslims, trans Jews, intersex trans people, fat trans people, literally any type of trans person because we don't have a universal "look".

if someone makes a post criticizing queer people for doing things that harm other queer people you do not need to respond with “lgbt infighting is exactly what the [x]phobes want, we need to stop yelling at each other” or “the cishets wont like you any better if you push “the bad ones” out” and it’s actually ignorant and tone-deaf to do so. not everything is about respectability politics. sometimes queer people do hurt other queer people and we need to be able to acknowledge that and discuss it instead of just acting like we’re a monolith with no internal conflict

Bisexuals don’t have any power or privilege over lesbians either. There’s plenty of statistics and studies to prove it. But that doesn’t align with your narrative so you’ll just dismiss and ignore them like always. Amazing how you complain about how bisexuals don’t show solidarity with lesbians when you can’t show the bare minimum of solidarity in turn.
nah being able to benefit from systemic homophobia & being able to pass as heterosexual & being able to get married to ur opposite sex partner & being able to experience opposite sex attraction are all privileges that homosexuals do not have. these privileges don’t come without downsides to them but they exist nonetheless

No, y'know why else we need gender neutral bathrooms? Because there's always a line for the women's bathroom and never for the men's.
Like it seems common sense to make two identical sized bathrooms for men and women but. it. is. not. Female bladders are smaller on average so women have to pee more often, not to mention the fact that going to the bathroom to pee takes longer for women usually (an urinal is a lot faster). So if there are as many toilets in the men's room as in the women's bathroom, the women will have too little space and the men too much. (And usually the men get more because of the aforementioned urinals)
Therefore gender neutral bathrooms with closed off stalls and maybe a small room with urinals on the side.
