“The children of the Jedi in yellow will be involved in a mission: to prevent Darth Vader, or Emperor Palpatine, from ascending the throne that he considers his.”
from italian media though i don't think marc is vader or palpatine🙃
jsadgfaiusgbvaeuyfgbeiud incredible.... though this is, surprisingly, a fairly self-conscious take
anyways i don't want any of them to be jedi, but possibly force-sensitive. with vale, i think he was like. not sensitive enough to be taken into the order, but sensitive enough to have an edge where otherwise he, a baseline human, might not have.
and when the empire comes their little world of [hover-whatever] racing doesn't even care much - it was semi-illegal in the republic, the headquarters are in the hutt space anyway, why do they give a fuck? but slowly, the empire starts encroaching. you have to cut deals. some people die (marco). and there are also rumors that they are visiting different worlds; looking for Different younglings. (it's not like the empire promised to stop with that jedi nonsense, no?) so vale starts taking those younglings under his wing - a few at first; he knows he can't save everyone - but slowly that ragtag bunch grows to include children of dissidents targeted by the empire, a couple orphans of the confederacy war... (vale did NOT plan this, but nominally what's important is that they're mad for racing.)

a major obi-wan thought on my bedtime rotation is the idea of sparring with him like that scene from miss congeniality WOAHHH another would be the interrogation with reader being a potential spy idk maybe i just find interrogations sexy.. and u cant go wrong with the classic mean obi wan taming a brat reader whose perhaps his padawan or an unruly senator under his protection ELITEEE
if you want sparring with obi-wan, you can check out my fic betrayal, that was meant to be a quick and dirty 200 words and ended up being a 17K porn novel <3 i totally agree with you on the interrogation front, i swear with the way he holds eye contact with jango in aotc i'm surprised the guy's pants didn't drop of their own accord. all that to say i've chosen the senator plotline <3
this post is 18+, minors dni.
You're not entirely sure how the Force works, but you're willing to bet that it opened its big fat mouth and told your overzealous security guard that you were trying to escape. You made sure to be deadly silent, and you'd blocked the cameras set up to monitor your bedroom, so you know he hadn't seen or heard you. Nevertheless, he stands in your bedroom doorway looking very unimpressed by the one leg you've managed to weasel through your window.
"Tell me, Senator," He calls, voice purposefully casual, like you're not bisected by a pane of glass, "Are you trying to kill yourself so that no one else gets the chance?"
"I'm not going to die." You insist, moving further still out of the window, "I'm going to take a walk."
"How many stories up are we? Two hundred?" Master Kenobi asks, this time stepping forwards into your room. He approaches your window but doesn't grab you, merely staring down at the very long distance between you and the ground.
"One-hundred-and-eight." You grunt, your strength waning the more you hang from the ledge of your window. He notices the strain in your voice, but prolongs your suffering with a thoughtful nod.
"Yes, right. I think that's a wonderful coincidence, then, seeing as how that's the number of bones you're going to break if you fall."
"I'm not going to- fall-!" You gasp at the feeling of your foot slipping against the balcony below you, but you're actually thankful for the Force now that it fuels Obi-Wan's quick reflexes. He dives to catch you, and hauls you up by only one of his hands gripping your bicep. It hurts, but you suppose he was right; it would have hurt a lot more to fall.
You're set on your feet with the expression of a tooka caught shredding its owners bedspread, but Obi-Wan meets your surly pout with an unimpressed look of his own. You're safely on the floor of your apartment, but his hand remains curled around your upper arm.
"I didn't think I needed to specify to you that staying 'out of reach' of your assassins did not mean dangling above them like a strung-up target."
"I was going to take a walk in the city," You repeat, teeth gritted, "I was going to keep my hood up, and I was going to blend in with the crowd."
"An excellent plan, truly," Obi-Wan indulges you, "I'm sure the seasoned bounty hunters that are poised to shoot you on sight would have been fooled by a cloth draped over your hair."
"I'm going crazy in here! I have to get out, I have to do something!" You gush, attempting to tear your arm out of Obi-Wan's grip. He doesn't let go, though, and he muscles it back to your side with a fleeting glint of fury in his eyes that you hadn't thought a Jedi was capable of. He walks forwards, and by extension, you walk backwards until your knees hit the frame of your bed and you're pushed down onto the mattress.
"Senator," He starts, keeping his voice tightly wound as he now looms over you, "I have a duty to protect you, but you have a duty to your own life as well. And I will not see you risk it by hanging yourself off of a skyscraper for something as menial as a stroll in the city! If you'd like to walk, you may walk into the closet and get yourself changed into your nightclothes, because the only thing you'll be doing this late at night is sleeping."
"You're not my daddy," You sneer at the man, his audacity setting something in your chest aflame, "You can't tell me what to do. I'm not going to sleep."
"I find your impression of a petulant toddler truly amusing, Senator," Obi-Wan deflects your persistent attempts at boiling him over, "But as you have a hearing to attend tomorrow, I suggest you take my advice and turn in for the night."
You bite the inside of your cheek so hard you're surprised it doesn't split beneath your teeth. He's right. You have a hearing tomorrow, and you're really only protesting sleep because he's asking you to do it. Perhaps.. perhaps that is below your station.
"Go," Obi-Wan's eyes flicker towards your dark closet, "But I would like you to leave the door open, please."
"What?" You rear your head back indignantly, any succession you'd decided on now gone as you process his request, "I'm not letting you watch me change, you freak!"
"I assure you I will not be watching," Obi-Wan lets go of your bicep, leaving a stinging ring around your skin in his wake, "But should there be any climb-able windows or secret exits in your closet that I'm not yet aware of, I don't want to be slowed down by a lock in my attempts to rescue you from your own foolishness."
"You're crazy. I'm telling the Jedi Council about this." You vow, storming off to your closet and tucking yourself into the walk-in portion so that your bodyguard can't see you as you strip down.
"You're more than welcome to, Senator. I suggest, though, that you be truthful with them about your attempts to fall from the two-hundredth-story of this building, otherwise you're going to make me look rather perverted."
"It's the 108th floor!" You snap, any patience you'd possessed throughout your encounter with Kenobi flooding out of you. It heats your skin, blazes it warm, which is perhaps why you've forgotten you're no longer clothed when you whirl around to correct the man to his face.
You're standing in the doorway of your closet now, very angry and very naked. Master Kenobi's eyes stay politely locked on your own, but one of his eyebrows raises, and a corner of his lips twitch in a barely-concealed smirk.
"Senator, if I were you," He drawls, his gaze heavy upon you despite being fixed on only your eyes, "I wouldn't tell the Council that you're giving me a strip show."

Codywan but Hanahaki disease
I just remembered that i challenged myself to write shit and the randomiser just made me angstie with this one.
Y’all know how the disease work right? If not, here is the fanlore page to explain a little.
Resume: Obi-Wan is painfully remainded that he loves too much... in multiple ocasions.
1. Quinlan Vos
2. Satine
3. Cody
.
So!
There is this disease that is just kinda normalized by the galaxie. It’s normal to fall in love with someone you shouldn’t, everyone is beautiful and gorgeous in their own way you know? So there are clinics, doctors, specialized post-surgery treatments and things like that.
But for the Jedi it’s a delicate topic. For a jedi to have the hanahaki disease is rare and not always well recived. It’s a bit of a taboo subject let’s say.
A good amount of people think that they are incapable of getting this disease. Those who know are divided. Some think it shouldn’t be treated any different than any other medical condition, other that it’s a test from the force to prove padawans or to redirect them to the light side, and the most extreme think it’s a sign of the force that they are not destined to be part of the order.
So imagine the shitshow that unfolded when Obi-Wan, not even a padawan yet, was rushed to the healing halls after spitting a flower mide training.
This unruly and loud 11 year old youngling was having a harsh time with some rather rude bullies when he got to know a chaotic young padawan that kicked their asses. Quinlan Vos was with who he would get like house on fire. It didn’t took long for both of them to become an inseparable and terrifying duo.
Obi-Wan was a goner before even knowing what that meant. So after some time, Quinlan is gone on a mission with his master and Obi is missing him crazy while trying to train (and failing) and in one of his moments of like, recalibrating his breathing he hears some classmate.
“Surely he’s missing his boyfriend”
And it is like a whiplash of emotion just colliding. The frustration from the failing training session, shock from realizing something he didn’t wanted, shame and the rage directed to the other younglings, homesickness from Quinlans absense and just plain and suffocating fear.
He felt horrible, like he’d being punched in the stomach multiple times...
He wanted to vomit...
and he did.
It would take time for everything to go back to normal. After the surgery, Obi-Wan would start being more quiet and fearful, but when everybody kept avoiding him and yet the looks and whispers still followed him, that fearfullness became anger. Anger he would lash out at anyone who was close enough to make him snap and then escape.
He wouldn’t even get close to Quinlan for years. Only when he was back from certain kriffed up planet overbeaten by a useless civil-war did he brakedown to finally get a hug from a friend.
((I will explain Qui-Gon later if someone is interested ùwu7))
The second time it happens he was 16 and in another war infested planet.
Satine was insufferable. After getting separeted from his master, Obi-Wan was condemned to protect this blonde girl that seemed to enjoy getting in his nerves at any given moment, even when they were on a clear danger scene, calling him by several... innovative names, laughing when he tripped or just hitting him when she thought he said or did something stupid.
He was honestly starting to question if this misssion was worth his sanity when a bad encounter gets them to bond while hiding. They where both badly hurt and without any other option, were forced to truly depend on each other.
Over the rest of the year it would grow to become something more, but it wasn’t the time nor the place to let it flourish.
They had become important for the other in that certain way that would meet the needs of both of them at the moment. But they never got to become friends in the first place. So when the moment to split came, they both knew it wasn’t meant no matter how much it hurt. And it hurt.
Qui-Gon was silent during all the farewell. He wasn’t stupid, he knew something was up as soon as they had been reunited, so he wasn’t too surprised when the flowers came. They had barely left land when the cough started and by the time they where hitting lightspeed, Obi-Wan got send to the back of the ship where his master performed a highly clandestine surgery with the help of the medical droid.
When he wakes up after the surgery, Obi-Wan proceeds to pass the 5 stages of grief. Qui-Gon is nothing but patient through the hole process.
When his padawan tries to play dumb to himself, he just remaind him of the flowers. When he gets defensive, he just projects calm and serenity through the force. When the anxiety grows to much to the point to ask to please not to tell to the counsil about it, Qui-Gon promises to never tell a soul and when the inevitable brakedown comes in, he comms Quinlan to wait for them in the landing pad.
the fifth stage would take a long time to come. In fact, Qui-Gon wouldn’t even be alive to see it happen. It would be almost two decades and it would come in the form of a person.
It would be the start of the second year of war. Obi-Wan was putting an unhealthy amount of sugar on a cup of caff when he stopped himself at a realization. He didn’t like sugar on his caff, hell, he didn’t even licked caff! So why in the name of the force did he had it in his personal space??
“General?”
His commanders voice startles him. He turns around to be comfronted with a familiar sight. Cody was only using the bottom part of his armor, one hand resting on the bed he was currently sitting on and the other holding the datapad he was previusly compiling. A worried look acompagning his slowly not so relaxed position.
“Is everything ok sir?”
Oh.
Oh dear...
The realization would come... peacefully. Of course it would be Cody. His wonderfull commander had crowled into his heart slowly and deliberately without knowing. With the reasuring presence, strategic mind and dry humor, it was just logical that Obi-Wan would fall for him... Also because he couldn’t do anything about it. They are at war, he is his superior and he had a duty to fulfil.
The jedi took a deep breath when the familiar sensation starts to fill in, only this time, he doesn’t panic and run to the madical hall. No, this time is different. This time he isn’t overcome with anything if not acceptance.
This is his commander, who he loves dearly and can’t do anything about it.
So, with a reassuring tone and adoring smile, he responds.
“It’s nothing my dear, just questioning myself about the amount of sugar I see you consume”
Cody watches him closely for a couple seconds before smirking. They both know he is lying but this is not the time to talk about it.
“Sure sir, don’t you worry about it. It’s what keeps my sweet personality alive, other wise it would be crush by tha amount of useless paperwork we are given”
Obi-Wan just chuckles covering a discrete cough and turns to finish their drinks.

House Of Memories (31/?)
Obi-Wan Kenobi x Padawan!reader
Warnings: kissing, fluff, brief nudity (idek)
Summary: It's your first morning waking up next to someone whom you know loves you.
A/n: this ones just fluffy and sweet my mom showed me a ewan movie called ghost writer and i suffered through two hours and eight minutes of it, trying not to make a big deal out of how much i wanted to touch his hair... this is purely indulgent on that
also y'all if you like the story, maybe consider buying me a coffee :)
Words: 2.1k
Tumblr media
His hands were soft, as they gently caressed your skin, down the stretch of your arms and jumping to the small of your back. They ever so slightly made a graze around your middle, coming to the front of your waist before they were back behind you, pulling you closer. The smell of him was purely blood sweat and tears, but then again, most of the Jedi were like that, now.
His lips tasted like fresh spring water, and the way they moved against your own was paradise, purely paradise. It was raw, and full of emotion, and you’d never felt stronger for another person in your life. Your signature was tangled in the comforting flow of his own, and it made your heart race to feel his passion through it.
Never before did you hear such a melodious sound in your life than when he let out a noise of satisfaction into your mouth. You couldn’t even compare it to the lovely music the people in the city made, putting on shows for an abundance of credits. It was partial to him, because it was him. You wanted everything with him, and though you knew this kind of possession and attachment were forbidden, you were so hungry for it, longing to know what it would be like to be his and only his for as long as you lived. No missions to account for with the Jedi, no duties to uphold to the people of the republic, and no rules that you had sworn to abide by.
“I love you, Obi,” your sweet whisper was echoing in his mind, several seconds after you’d said it.
“My little one,” he moved his lips to your neck, tipping your head to the side so he had full access to the untouched areas.
It was all real now, not a dream to wake up from, but the very threads of what were happening to you. It was real...
Your legs were tangled under the sheets of his bed, shifting around every once and a while to achieve a new position to lay in. As of now, you were draped over him like a blanket, hands in his unruly hair as you let out shaky breaths. He hadn't wasted an ounce of time since you'd returned to the temple, making sure you knew that you had his fully undivided attention.
The council, being the wonderful gathering of Jedi that they were, wanted to assign Obi-Wan on yet another mission right after he returned from the previous one, to which he politely declined. They had earlier mentioned their concern for your behavior recently, your rejection of gaining another Master and your darkness infused tendencies... that's why when they asked him why he wasn't accepting the republic's mission, he answered honestly, telling them that he would be spending some much-needed time with his Padawan, to help her climb out of the darkness and keep following the light. Given that Obi-Wan was now on the council, his chair gave him the power to refuse them without being horribly reprimanded. He was wise, indeed, and deserved his spot amongst them. He and Master Yoda were quite frankly the only council members that you tolerated. Perhaps tolerated was not a good word use for Obi-Wan, because what you were doing with him right now went far past the boundaries of tolerance.
"At some point, we do have to talk about this," Obi-Wan needed to be the voice of reason, and yet, he couldn't bring himself to drag his lips away from you long enough to do so. Your skin was addictive, he'd been waiting to taste it all this time, and now that he finally had it in his grasp, he couldn't get enough. He wanted more, wanted it all, wanted you, in every capacity... but he was going to take it slow. You were not like the fling of his past. He'd known you almost all your life, and you were important to him, even outside of the romantic feelings he felt for you. He loved you so innocently, so purely, and he knew that it must have been because on almost all fronts, you were innocent, and you were pure, and he didn't want to spend the first hours of your relationship, whatever it was, ruining that.
"What is there to talk about?" your sleepy eyes fell back into contact with his, and the serious look he gave you was a buzz in the moment. You wanted to simply lay here all day, wrapped up in his clothes and perched on his chest. Your hair fell in loose strands around your face as you were looking at him, and though he could just ignore everything and admire you for as long as you'd let him, he knew that as your master there were still responsibilities to be met.
"I promised the council that I would discuss with you the things which happened in my absence," he danced around the topic, not phrasing it the way you would have, but he knew you would correct him, because it was in your nature to.
"You mean during your death."
He sighed, running a hand through your hair and trying his best to keep going through with this. You were going to have the upper hand, and he knew it... but there was still concern in him, that he for once shared with the council. He had to understand what had happened to you.
"I wasn't dead, my love."
"But I didn't know that," you answered, your tone becoming a little more on the offensive side. You knew it was over, and in the past, but if he was going to bring up the feelings you'd been fighting, then you were going to bring up the reason they came to you in the first place.
"I will never forgive myself for letting you believe it," he paused, shifting to sit up against the headboard, and bringing you to sit on his lap, legs across the bed and arms around his neck. "But if I don't find out if there was anything else that had transpired to cause what happened to you, I would be a failure as your Master."
"I understand," you nodded to him, ready to listen for whatever he asked you.
He wished you'd put up a little more of a fight, he truly didn't want to go into detail about the process of your grief and what almost made you turn. This was for your sake, not for his, and he had to remind himself of that in order to continue.
"The darkness, it was taking you over... and you were letting it in," he had to stop and remember for a moment, the scene that played out on that ship, "When I saw what you had done to your saber..."
"I hate it," you admitted, your eyes finding it where it laid on his nightstand. It was right next to his, but you didn't feel it deserved to be there. "When I was younger, I wanted to be a blue saber so badly. I wanted to be like you. I remember being so disappointed when I found out it was green, but then I talked to you, and you convinced me it was beautiful. I loved it every day after that... but then I ruined it. It's ugly now, tarnished."
You were no longer captivated by the dark side, that much he could tell, which was honestly another reason for concern. Just the loss of him caused you to embrace it, what would happen if he had been gone for real? Would you turn to the Sith? Fight with the separatists?
"A bleeding Crystal can be healed," he reminded you, but you weren't quite sure you believed the old stories. They were legends, and no one had been able to do it on record, but it was still taught in every generation of Jedi. "I can help you."
You smiled at him, all the sincerity he shown on his face, and the love and compassion he held in his eyes. He was everything...
"I may need some time," you told him. You weren't unsure of your ability to use the light side of the force, what you were afraid of, was him sensing your pessimism that it couldn't work. He believed so deeply that you could, and that this brush with the darkness was going to make you even stronger. "But I will try when I'm ready."
He nodded in reply of your agreement, and brought you closer to him, arms around your waist. He kissed the side of your head and began to move you off of his lap. You were unsure why he was leaving, because as far as you knew, there was nowhere else he needed to be but here, with you.
"Where are you going?"
He chuckled at how upset you seemed, just for lacking his embrace after five seconds.
"Well, the fresher would be a good start, I've not showered in days... I'm quite surprised you haven't noticed," He stood to his feet, and scrunched up his face to show his slight disdain.
"Oh, forgive me, I was distracted by you being alive."
Your joke was meant to be more sarcastic than it came out, but you did mean it sincerely... and to be completely honest, you really hadn't noticed he'd not showered. He smelled the same as he usually does, just stronger, which you could hardly complain about. You had missed his scent so much when he was gone, and the pillows you clung to were not much help. You had come to a realization about that, though. The pillows, though well absorbed with his scent, were also infused with yours, making the small one of you both, together. A product of some sleepless nights, when he would hold you after a nightmare, or let you simply lay beside him because he'd been on a mission and oh, how you missed him. It was a realization that came suddenly one night, and you loved the way it sent your heart soaring every time you thought about it hence forth.
"Even still," he chided, walking over to his bench that sat before the foot of the bed. He grabbed his robes that he'd only barely worn once since being back, and out of habit, he didn't think twice before taking the shirt he had on off.
You watched with a fixed stare, every move his body made, each muscle, unrestricted by clothing, and you wondered what it might be like to touch his bare skin. You'd touched his bare chest once, out of impulse while putting him back together on a mission. This was so entirely different. You wanted to feel him, to softly caress the exposed areas, to understand the exact way his chest expanded and fell with each breath. You wanted to run delicate fingers over the broadness of his shoulders and feel the pink lines that were left over as scars from his past experiences. Every touch would be purely out of an instinctual need that formed in the back of your mind.
"I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable, little one... I just forget that-" he had noticed your stare, but refused to invade your thoughts that occurred simultaneously, so his instant response was to think you'd somehow been made to feel unsettled.
"You didn't," you stopped him in his rambling. You loved the man to the moons and back, all four of them for the case of Coruscant, but sometimes his obliviousness was wild. "I was just looking because..."
What were you even planning to say? You'd stopped speaking, so clearly you had no kriffing idea.
"Because?" he furrowed his brows, completely unexpectant of the words you'd finally found to finish your sentence.
"Because I think you're beautiful."
You grew timid when it passed your lips, but you weren't the only one with the slight embarrassment worn on your face. His cheeks turned pink, and he had to duck his head in order to fully process what you'd said. You'd confessed your undying love already, but there was still so much new territory that you both had yet to come across. This would definitely be considered as a new territory for him, as you'd had to be the first person to simply tell him he was beautiful.
"I'm sorry if I'm the the one who made you uncomfortable."
He shook his head and walked around the bed to where you sat on the side of it, gently shoving you back into it and collecting your lips in one more kiss. Your mouths were just messily brushing up against the other, for he couldn't stop smiling from ear to ear. You, in the past day, had made him the happiest he'd ever been. It was partial to you, because it was you. You were the one who had made him so happy.
"As much as I would love to stay here with you, I really need a shower."

We Might Just Get Away With This
Hidden feelings do nothing but build tension, and when Y/n is almost lost, Obi-wan finds that his passion can no longer be contained.
obi-wan kenobi x jedi! reader
she/her pronouns
TW: mentions of violence, choking, secret relationship, anxious feelings, the tiniest bit of angst, it gets a little spicy but there’s no smut.
A/N: This is set between AOTC and ROTS. Also! I watched the first two episodes of Kenobi and I am simping respectfully
star wars masterlist
Tumblr media
Jedi aren’t supposed to have attachments, but after a particularly tense encounter, two jedi aren’t sure they can continue to uphold the code.
———————————————————————
It was stupid, and quite possibly the worst thing that Y/n ever could’ve done.
She was a jedi, and so was he; Jedi don’t fall in love.
Nevertheless, here she was, tossing and turning in her bed over the man who had singlehandedly claimed her heart. It wasn’t a recent development, Y/n had been growing attached to Obi-wan since they were padawans, but for a long time she had denied her feelings over and over again. Recently, however, it had been becoming more and more difficult.
It was entirely Y/n’s fault really; Obi-wan was not a flirtatious man, and he was respectful almost to a fault. But whenever he was close, or he made contact with Y/n, or even when he just looked at her, it made her heart race. It wasn’t like Y/n could avoid him (though she wouldn’t really want to) because the Jedi assigned the two of them on every single mission together. Even when they were at the temple, Obi-wan and Y/n meditated together, trained together, sat next to the other on the council, and even ate together. To the entire world, the two were the best of friends, but every moment Y/n felt herself falling deeper and deeper into love with Obi-wan.
It was fruitless and futile; Kenobi was practically the poster child of the Jedi having adopted next to none of his late master’s rebellious ways. He was a perfect jedi, acting in accordance with the code and doing his best to help his unruly padawan and friend do the same. Sometimes Y/n found herself envying Anakin and Padme, who despite being very prominent people, were happily married and carrying on their secret relationship. Y/n’s lips were sealed, but sometimes she wanted to say to Obi-wan, “If they can do it, why can’t we?” But Obi-wan was the Sun and Anakin was the moon, and there was no way the former would ever do something so completely out of line and crazy.
Despite her ever growing affections, Y/n had managed to keep them relatively under control; until today. Obi-wan and Y/n had been assigned to go to a Republic planet and investigate rumors of Sith terrorizing the locals. Everything seemed routine and nothing out of order, and there appeared to be no signs of actual Sith. Just as the pair were returning to their ship, however, they were ambushed.
Blaster fire hit the door as Y/n reached for the panel, and immediately she turned in sync with Obi-wan as they ignited their lightsabers. Blocking the blasts, Y/n took to the right side of the group, throwing the main firer against a nearby tree. After taking care of the first couple of attackers, the rest of the group ran off, clearly seeing that attacking a jedi was not as easy as they had thought. Y/n was about to see if Obi-wan needed help, when suddenly a harsh strike to her wrist made Y/n drop her lightsaber. Turning quickly, Y/n didn’t have time to react as a large hand grabbed her neck and squeezed. Y/n gasped, the pressuring crushing her windpipe and making it hard to breathe; terrified and not thinking clearly, her hands clawed at her attacker, desperate to breathe again.
A gasp escaped the attacker as a lightsaber blade went through his sternum, the blue light reflecting on his contorted face. With a push, Y/n ripped his hands from off her neck, gasping to fill her lungs with air as she watched him fall to the ground. Looking to her savior,  Y/n saw Obi-wan; his blue eyes were dark, and there was an indiscernible look that Y/n had never seen in her friend before.
“Are you alright?” Obi-wan’s voice was low as he stepped close to Y/n, and if she hadn’t been so close to dying she might’ve swooned.
“Yeah, I’m okay.” Swallowing hard, Y/n froze as Obi-wan’s hands reached out to her. His fingers softly moved along her neck, gently brushing over where bruises would surely eventually form. He was so close that Y/n could see every detail;  his forehead was furrowed in concentration, and there was a faint scar above his eyebrow, evidence from a previous battle. Y/n was sure Obi-wan could hear her heart beating loudly inside her chest; despite the pain in her throat, she found herself longing to succumb to Obi-wan’s touch. The energy between their two bodies was like lightning, and the tension was palpable in the air.
Then suddenly, Obi-wan dropped his hands and turned around, walking into the ship. Y/n’s chest rose and fell, a rollercoaster of emotions rushing over her. Trying to clear her mind, Y/n retrieved her lightsaber and followed after Obi-wan. The two said nothing during the entire journey back, and Obi-wan had refused to look at Y/n during their debriefing. He had proceeded to make himself scarce for the rest of the day, and now Y/n found herself pining over Obi-wan as she sat alone in the darkened glow of her nighttime lamp.
A soft knock on the door interrupted Y/n’s racing train of thoughts, and it was so quiet that she thought she had imagined it. Yet there it was again, so very gentle but still there. Getting up, Y/n opened the door, only for it to reveal a very disheveled Obi-wan. His hair was out of place, and he was dressed in loose black pants and a v-neck shirt. Somehow Obi-wan managed to look as gorgeous as ever, but Y/n tried to remain focused on why he was at her room in the middle of the night. Y/n stepped to the side to allow Obi-wan to enter the room. He cautiously entered, walking straight back until he reached the window. Y/n shut the door behind him, and again the tension from earlier returned. Y/n remained quiet, waiting for her late-night visitor to say something.
Obi-wan turned, and once again Y/n saw that dark look in his eyes. He opened his mouth to say something, only to close it again. Taking a deep breath in, Obi-wan was about to say something, only for him to was again remain silent. Looking at the ground, he crossed his arms over his chest.
“How are you feeling?”
That was it, the most basic question in the galaxy. Deciding to also ignore whatever the heck was going on, Y/n went with the casual conversation. “A little sore, but I’m alive so I can’t complain.” Nervously she laughed, trying to lighten the conversation.
Obi-wan nodded, but is was obvious his mind wasn’t really there.
“Is everything al-”
“I’m sorry.”
Y/n was taken aback by the abrupt apology. “Excuse me?”
Anxiously Obi-wan ran a hand through his hair. “I should’ve been there, I should have been more prepared, none of this should’ve happened.”
“Hey hey hey, stop that.” Y/n walked closer to the distressed man and placed her hands on his shoulders, rubbing them as she tried to sooth him. “There was nothing more you could’ve done, it was a surprise for both of us. What matters is we made it out okay.”
“But you’re not okay, your neck-”
“Like I said, I’m still alive; and in this line of work, that's more than I can ask for. You saved me, and I thank you for that.”
“He touched you.”
Y/n shook her head, trying to understand. “What?”
Obi-wan stepped forward, his body so close that Y/n could feel the heat radiating off of it. “No one is allowed to touch you.”
Obi-wan felt like he was loosing it, barely able to concentrate when Y/n was so close. He internally struggled, trying hard to keep his gaze on her eyes when her top’s strap was falling off her shoulder and the neckline followed the curve of her breasts. Obi-wan knew he had no right, but everything about Y/n drove him crazy. She was never not the most gorgeous woman he had ever seen, and every day he had slowly fallen more and more in love with her. Obi-wan had felt absolutely feral when he saw that man’s hands around Y/n’s neck, almost taking away the most precious thing to Obi-wan. It was wrong, oh it was so wrong, but after today Obi-wan didn’t care.
“Do you know how much I have suffered because of you?”
Y/n blinked rapidly, trying to understand what Obi-wan was saying. “I have never meant to caused you pain, Obi-wan. You are my dearest friend and-”
“Don’t say that.” Obi-wan’s chest rose and fell rapidly, and he looked positively heartbroken. “It has never been your fault, it’s me, I have behaved atrociously, oh maker.” Running a hand over his face, Obi-wan desperately tried to compose himself. He knew he wasn’t saying it right, he knew he was making a mess of things, but he found himself at a loss for words.
When his gaze returned to Y/n’s, Obi-wan found nothing but concern and adoration in her eyes. Gather his courage, he softly spoke in a rush. “It is I who should be apologizing. You have given me nothing but the greatest of friendships, and I have allowed my personal feelings to overcome logic. I have not only compromised myself, but also you, especially here tonight. For too long I have tried to contain my emotions, to snuff them out, but instead they have consumed every part of me. When I realized how close I was to losing you today, I became acutely aware of the fact that I could be stuck with my silence forevermore. It is deeply unfair, but I ask for your patience as I unburden myself of these innermost feelings. I expect no return, but they must be put out in the open or else I fear I shall die from them.”
Anxiously Obi-wan searched Y/n’s face for any sign of discomfort or repulsion, but she seemed almost welcoming to his intentions. Taking this as a sign to continue, Obi-wan proceeded with his speech.
“For as long as I can remember Y/n, you have been my greatest friend; somewhere along the way, however, my feelings for you shifted from platonic to romantic. Despite my best intentions, I continue to fall in love with you every day. You are absolutely perfect in my eyes, and indeed you are the most brilliant, intelligent, caring, and dare I say beautiful person I have ever met. There is no where that feels more like home than you, and I do not think all the spice users in the galaxy could be more addicted than I am to you. I would give up the sun for your laughter and my own life for your happiness. Every moment I spend with you is more incredible than the last, and every day I must be apart from you is complete agony. You are the object of all my desires and the person I wish to devote myself completely to. Our code would have me cut you out of my life, but never before have I felt more right than by your side. If you said the word, I would leave the order right now and never look back.”
Here Obi-wan took a deep breath, overcome with the strength of his own feelings. “If any of my words or affections have been offensive to you, I apologize from the bottom of my heart.  If my feelings have repulsed you, say the word and I will leave you at once, and never again will I discomfort you as I have tonight. I only ask that you put me out of my agony and make your own feelings clear now.”
While Y/n had remained silent during the entirety of Obi-wan’s speech, inside she felt her heart swell and her body flood with joy. The very affections that he was now professing was the same that Y/n had harbored for so long.
With tears threatening to spill over, Y/n smiled at Obi-wan. “I have loved you from the very first day Obi-wan, and I do not think I could ever stop loving you.”
A smile grew on Obi-wan’s face, and he practically beamed with joy. Taking Y/n in his arms, he spun her around and around until they were both laughing. Setting her back down, he kept his arms around her waist and just took her face in. Y/n slid her hands up from Obi-wan’s neck to his cheeks, holding his face between her palms. Unsure of who leaned in first, their lips connected, and immediately sparks ignited within their souls. Softly and gently they kissed, neither having had this contact with another person before. Carefully they explored the sensation, enjoying the feeling of their lips touching.
Obi-wan pulled away, looking over Y/n to see if this was okay. Gently she brushed his nose with her’s, letting him know that she was fine with the direction this was taking.
Suddenly Obi-wan’s hands slid down from Y/n’s waist to her thighs, and he pulled at them. Following his direction, Y/n jumped and wrapped her legs around Obi-wan’s torso, her arms wrapping around his neck. Once again Obi-wan pressed his lips to Y/n’s, this time more assured and confident in his actions. This time, there was no hesitation or caution; over and over Obi-wan kissed Y/n, this time their mouths moving together in tandem. Caught up in the sensation, Obi-wan walked forward until Y/n’s back hit the wall. She gasped at the contact, but she quickly reconnected her lips to Obi-wan’s.
His fingers dug into Y/n’s thighs, gripping onto the them tightly without hurting her. She was wearing sleep shorts, and Obi-wan enjoyed feeling the texture of her skin as his fingers splayed over her thighs. His touch sent goosebumps along Y/n’s skin, the sensation of the skin to skin contact thrilling her.
Obi-wan’s lips left Y/n’s, moving to press kisses all over her face; first her cheek, then brushing along her nose, to her eye, to the corner of her mouth, and then Obi-wan trailed his lips along Y/n’s jaw, pressing kisses all the way down to her chin and then up the other side. Y/n’s back arched at the contact, her head tilting back to give easier access.
For a moment Obi-wan pulled away, his lidded eyes looking over the woman he loved. Gently he guided her legs back to the ground, and he let her go with a smirk. As he backed away, Y/n felt a little bit of a fire and boldness within her chest; moving towards him, she pressed her palm against Obi-wan’s chest and gave him a gentle push. The back of his knees hit the edge of the bed, buckling and forcing him to sit. Climbing on top of him, Y/n straddled his hips as it was her turn to tease him. Carefully she hovered her lips over his own, so close yet not quite touching. Obi-wan made a noise and tried to claim her lips, but Y/n moved back just in time. She bit her bottom lip, trying to contain the smile that was growing.
Y/n softly squealed as she felt Obi-wan grab onto her hips, digging his fingers into the soft skin as he pulled her impossibly closer. Her cry was cut short as he pressed his lips to hers; sighing deeply, the two relaxed into the touch, enjoying having the other so close.
Suddenly Obi-wan fell backwards, pulling Y/n down with him. Laughing, she curled up into his side, head resting on his chest. Obi-wan’s fingers ran over her hip, tracing invisible patterns on the cloth covering them. Y/n’s hand clutched onto his shirt, feeling the fabric beneath her touch.
“I’ve just made your life a whole lot harder you know.”
Rolling her eyes, Y/n huffed as she propped up onto her elbow. “My life was hard enough trying to not be in love with you, I hardly think keeping a secret relationship with you will be any harder.”
Obi-wan smiled at Y/n’s declaration, but still his eyebrows pulled together in concern. “We interact with some powerful jedi every day, if they sense any indication of our affections, we could be in some serious trouble.”
“Then we’ll figure it out together. My life has been infinitely better since knowing you, and I can only imagine it will get better now that I get to love you too.”
Obi-wan’s smile grew as he felt his beloved’s lips press a kiss to his bearded cheek, and he sighed in contentment as he allowed himself to relax into her mattress. “If Anakin ever finds out about us, I’ll never hear the end of it.”
“About that......how do you feel about double dates?”
“WHAT-”

501st Battalion’s Nightmare Repellent
The first time Ahsoka fell asleep in the barracks was while comforting a shiny after a hard campaign. The next time was after being practically dragged there by a certain set of trouble making twins intent on making sure she got rest. After that it became more common for Ahsoka to find herself in the barracks.
Soon the members of Torrent began to notice how much better they slept with the little togruta around. Some found that they were finally able to fall asleep, others found that they were finally able to stay asleep, rarely waking up from nightmares. It didn't occur to them that this was a Force ability she used, most of the time unconsciously, until she’d had to give Denal a sleep Force suggestion after he’d woken up in a panic and couldn’t calm down. She was soon given an unofficial designated bunk.
That bunk regularly had a shiny curled up in it beside the little togruta, sometimes 2 would cram in. Other times an older member could be found there. Ahsoka had grown used to falling asleep by herself and waking up with someone at her back. She had also grown used to waking up in an entirely different bunk. Hardcase had a habit of snatching her off her bunk and carrying Ahsoka to his own bunk to sleep. If there was a shiny with her, he'd haul them both to his bunk. Fives had also taken up scooping her off her own bunk and carrying her over to Echo’s bunk to sleep, he was usually too tired to haul her up the ladder to his own bunk.
After difficult campaigns Ahsoka would usually sleep in the area with the most shinies, dragging thin mattresses to the floor so more troopers could join her. Her gentle presence helped calm them after days running on adrenaline, her stories of old Jedi and old wars kept their mind from the terrors they had just witnessed, her shoulder to cry on made them feel human. More than once Anakin has gone to the barracks looking for his padawan and been unable to find her due to her being hidden by a trooper’s wide shoulders.
If Ahsoka knows that she will not make it down to the barracks she sends a message so no one stays awake waiting up all night.
After a few months with the 501st, Ahsoka began to spend more time in the med bay as well. Once she learned how to block out other people’s pain better, she made herself useful to comfort those injured and offered her limited knowledge of Force healing to keep others alive. For particularly unruly members she would just climb into the bunk to keep them in place. She also learned that it took more stress off of the medics, and having had Kix end up in her bunk more than a few times, she knew they needed the support.
When Ahsoka herself needed comfort, she would usually clamber into Echo, Rex, or sometimes Kix’s bunk as they were the closest bottom bunks for her. Echo in particular usually woke up when she settled in, shifting her over to the wall side so he could block out the rest of the world from her.
After the Citadel, the only person able to get Fives to sleep was Ahsoka. They’d usually curl up on Echo’s old bunk and shake themselves to sleep. He’d cling to her as if at any moment she would slip away too. If Fives was having a particularly bad night Rex would climb in because he was strong enough to hold the ARC still when he woke up thrashing, while Ahsoka worked to calm his mind and send him back to sleep.
The 501st didn’t notice just how much Ahsoka did for them during the night until she was gone. Quite literally gone, disappeared seemingly without a trace. The only evidence she had been on Felucia at all were her poorly hidden lightsabers. When they had finally returned to the Resolute after 2 full days and nights of searching the planet for their lost commander, they were all exhausted. Jesse, Fives, and Hardcase fell asleep on her bunk, trying to find any comfort in her absence. Rex and other older members were woken multiple times by their own nightmares and the shouts of other troopers who needed comfort. Only after they had returned to Coruscant and the barracks were almost empty, most of the 501st out drinking, did Rex curl up on Ahsoka’s bunk. He prayed to whatever gods would listen to protect his little sister where ever she was in the galaxy. When she finally returned to them, Torrent didn’t bother fighting over who got to stay with her, they just piled the mattresses up on the floor and stuck her in the middle. Anything that wanted their vod’ika would have to get through them. For the first time in a week and a half, they all slept.
After Umbara Ahsoka was worried that her men wouldn’t want a Jedi in their bunks and opted to keep her distance to give them time. She also wasn’t sure she was ready to face the now empty bunk of yet another one of her closest brothers. This was quickly changed when Jesse showed up at her private quarters door still visibly shaken from a nightmare and asked if he could sleep in her bunk. With Jesse completely curled around her that night, it really began to sink in for her how young they all really were, despite fighting in a war no one asked for. The next night she carefully approached the barracks only to find multiple people already hunkering down around her bunk.
One shiny in particular (well she couldn’t really call any of them shinies after Umbara) had a tendency to curl up in Fives bunk. However, it wasn’t long before the ARC was called out again for a mission. The next night Ahsoka woke up to hear someone shouting and promptly shook the trooper named Tup awake. He stared at her in fear and she had no doubt that he’d been dreaming up Krell. After a few coxing words he followed her back to her own bunk and settled down. The next morning she woke up to find the younger trooper curled into her front with his head tucked into her chest. He soon became a regular occupant in her bunk.
Not long after Kadavo Ahsoka had to drag Rex from the training rooms to her bunk because she knew he had hardly slept since the mission (She hadn’t either but she wasn’t going to admit anything was wrong). Mindful of the still healing wounds on his back she promptly sent him to sleep. When he woke a few hours later she gave him the painkillers Kix had left with her and sent him back to sleep. She did that the rest of the night and the next night until he finally began to look less like a walking corpse.
During the investigation into the temple bombing Ahsoka didn’t stay in the barracks as much, the night that they found the real culprit the 501st’s little vod’ika crashed into her bunk and didn’t wake up for 12 hours. That was the last night she ever slept in the barracks.
The 501st hardly slept at all after Ahsoka was arrested and chased through Coruscant. Their battalion was locked down in the barracks lest they go out and impede the search because they had a ‘bias’ against her, though it was probably warranted given the look on Fives’ and Jesse’s faces when they heard she was being pursued. After she was captured again they expected the Jedi Council to give her a trial and let her go, because they all knew there was no way in the 9 Corellian Hells Ahsoka Tano could have been the one behind the bombing and the deaths of the prisoner and the troopers. To hear that she had not only been found guilt but thrown out of the Jedi Order itself sent icy fear through all of them. How could their little commander, their vod’ika, the one that slept in the barracks and rocked terrified shinies to sleep, that chased away their own nightmares so that they could finally rest, do something as terrible as this?
The battalion as a whole listened in on her trial, and they had never been so relieved to hear their general’s voice cut in to save her. She wasn’t guilty, no she was betrayed. They all knew that the Jedi would have to let her back in, they would need to atone for their own betrayal of their commander. But then the little togruta had arrived at the barracks, arms wrapped around herself and only a small sack around her shoulders. She was leaving she told them through barely contained tears. She was leaving and she was sorry.
The battalion was devastated, but they understood why she was leaving. She had been betrayed by the very family that had raised her. She said goodbye to each trooper, saving Torrent for last. She wiped away Tup’s tears and winced slightly at the sheer force of Jesse and Fives’ hugs. Rex held out a pack full of credits and ration bars and finally let the depth of his grief show. He clung to his vod’ika for a long time before finally releasing her.
The days following they didn’t sleep. When they had to ship off to their fist mission without Ahsoka, the void left in her wake was apparent. The medics noted how much more sedative and painkillers they had to dispense now that Ahsoka’s calming presence was gone. The veterans were woken up more often to go help their vod with nightmares. General Skywalker was doing poorly as well, it didn’t surprise Rex much when he showed up in the barracks looking like he hadn’t slept in weeks. He didn’t help much with nightmares but it was more the sense that they were all grieving together at made them rest a little easier.

Hi I love your writing!! Can I request something with obi wan? like how did him and the reader meet? How did she get along with anakin? Anything like that thanks!!!
domestic jedi bliss(?) with our favorites
Pairing | Obi-Wan Kenobi x Reader
Word Count | 1,736
Warnings | obi-wan is very lightly injured
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Anakin," You say, quirking a brow. "Sit still."
The boy is ten now, and you can tell he is trying his very hardest to settle beside you, cross-legged and hushed. Sand-colored hair sweeps across the blue of his eyes like the shore meeting the ocean, and he fidgets and sways as the waves often do. You cannot help but smile, despite the frustration the other masters hold for this unruly boy.
"Anakin," You repeat, cracking your eyes open to glance his way. The young Padawan is grinning at you when your eyes meet, his braid swinging wildly down his back.
"Yes, master?" Anakin responds. You are little more than twice his age, which is not very much, but the title still feels foreign. You have no Padawan of your own- rare, but not inconceivable- instead devoting most of your time to the Halls of Healing. And Anakin.
"Don't look at me like that," You laugh, but his little smile has already won you over. "Fine, Ani. Let's see if Master Kenobi has sent any word."
You take Anakin to Dex's, where the familiar Besalisk greets you with a warm welcome and a warmer plate. Delighted, Anakin launches into a thousand questions while you fetch your communicator, scanning the lines of Aurebesh as Dex chuckles and answers the young boy's infinite queries.
"And how did you meet my master?" You catch Anakin asking, sipping on something made with the blues of Bantha milk. He'd always said it reminded him of home, when the other masters weren't around to disapprove of his attachments.
"This fair one here?" Dex asks, gesturing with one of his four hands to you. Anakin shakes his head.
"No, Master Kenobi."
Obi-Wan. He had been your closest friend and confidant since your shared years as a Padawan, when he was once every bit the rebellious and spitfire youth Anakin epitomizes now. His master's death and Obi-Wan's sudden appointment as Jedi Knight had mellowed him, but you found the copper-haired man no less interesting. In fact, the companionship had only grown; watching Anakin when Obi-Wan is called away on duty is commonplace now, and not an unpleasant experience.
"Ani, don't talk with your mouth full," You absently remind the boy, leaning your head into your hand. Your communicator is silent in its position beside your elbow, awaiting any news on Obi-Wan's mission. He was set to return today, after all, but you'd heard nothing so far. Even your colleagues from the Halls of Healing had nothing to tell, as they sometimes revealed when Obi-Wan returned from secrecy battered and bruised.
Anakin devours his meal and you leave a handful of credits behind, ushering the sandy-haired boy out of the diner before he can convince the other patrons that they absolutely must see this new trick he's learned. You're halfway to the speeder when your communicator begins its tinny call, but it is not Obi-Wan's face written in holographic blue.
"Knight," Mace Windu titles you respectfully, even if his voice always seems anything but. "Young Skywalker is being requested for lessons at the Temple. I understand you are guiding him today in Kenobi's stead."
"Yes, Master Windu," You reply. "We'll be back at once."
Anakin grins like he's been caught doing something he isn't supposed to, even though going for a break at Dex's isn't prohibited. He hops into the passenger seat before you can tell him twice and you hope, with a silent smile playing on your lips, that he will never grow out of his excitement for everything.
---
Anakin waves as you leave him with the other younglings, the training helmet falling over his blue eyes as you turn away with a laugh. The Temple is alive underfoot, each step bringing you closer to the dormitories. As bright as Anakin's presence is, you've been up since the early hours of the morning with the boy and it's starting to catch up. His master's departures always affected him strongly, though he'd begun to grow out of the worry that each would be the last time he'd see Obi-Wan. Still, Anakin had been unable to fall back asleep after Kenobi's hasty goodbye, leaving you to entertain the boy far earlier than expected.
Your Knight quarters are far more spacious than the ones you'd been given as a Padawan and as such, you'd finally been able to make your room yours. Trinkets from various worlds and missions litter the space, shaded from the light and noise outside by slotted curtains that hang down from the roomy ceiling. You frown, not quite recalling pulling them down this morning, when suddenly, you are alerted to another presence.
Obi-Wan is sprawled across your settee gracelessly. His legs are not laid up over the arm, but rather spilling out over your floor as his torso crumples into the cushions. His hair covers most of his face now, soft and coppery in the faint, golden light.
"Obi-Wan," You gasp, the breath wrenched out of you. His robes are torn at the sleeve that does not touch your cushions, the fabric stained a deep red. You move to open the blinds, casting your hand out to use the Force, but Obi-Wan's soft groan stops you.
"Please don't," He mutters. "M'head hurts."
You rush to his side, lifting his legs over the rest of the divan with no small effort. You tuck yourself beside him even though there is barely room to sit, brushing the longish locks away from his face. Obi-Wan's eyes are closed, and though the laceration at his arm is clearly paining him, you can't find any other obvious wounds.
"It's not that bad," He sighs. "I'm just tired, really. I wanted to see you before the Council demanded my report."
You fix him with a withering look as he opens his cerulean eyes, blinking wearily in the faint blades of light.
"Obi-Wan," You try to be stern. "I thought you were seriously hurt. Your arm-"
"I bandaged it, see?" He rotates his shoulder and you notice that there is indeed a strip of white underneath his tattered sleeve. To your surprise, it was even done up rather well. "Don't tell me you hold such little faith in my capabilities, darling."
"You still should've gone to the Halls of Healing. You don't know if it's worse than it seems."
Obi-Wan might've rolled his eyes a year ago, when he was still a sharp-tongued Padawan with a wit almost as fiery as his hair. Some of that still remains in the irritated huff of breath that escapes his lips now, though his eyes are soft for you.
"The blaster bolt barely grazed me and- and the blow to the head after barely even hurt," He insists, sitting up suddenly. He winces, having forgotten his headache, and instead folds into you. "I wanted to see you," Obi-Wan repeats softly, turning so his lips brush your neck.
Perhaps Anakin is not the only one who experiences loss at every parting, for you can feel the Jedi's posture soften as you slip your fingers into his silken hair. Your nails scratch gently over his scalp with each stroke, separating the long strands adoringly. It had not always been like this in the same way that his hair had not always been so lengthy.
"Do you remember when we first met, just before your mission to Pijal?" You ask softly. Obi-Wan stiffens again, and you know he is thinking of his teacher.
"Yes," He swallows. "I was... upset that Master Qui-Gon was considering the Council. Despite my reservations regarding his lack of faith in the Code, I did not want him to pass me along to someone else."
Obi-Wan had painted a sad figure, you'd thought then, as one solitary frame in the Room of a Thousand Fountains. You'd sat beside him until his words spilled out like the streams coursing about you, pumping and thriving like the Force itself. He'd been a spark in the sea of continuity that was the Temple and you had been drawn in from the start, forming a quick and lasting friendship. Neither of you could pinpoint exactly when it had boiled over to something more.
"He would be proud of you," You whisper, and you think you can feel Obi-Wan sag forwards into your embrace. "Qui-Gon didn't just want you to complete the trials so he could take Anakin on, you know. He'd known you were ready for a long time. I think... I believe he just didn't want to let you go- until it was necessary."
Obi-Wan mulls over your words. You can feel the way he thinks even if his face is hidden in your robes, his fingers settling delicately at your waist. You can tell he appreciates the sentiment in the way his legs curl up to your body, touching you wherever he can in the confines of the settee. You smile, brushing through his hair one last time, before pulling away gently.
"Obi-Wan, you need to sleep."
Your words are no more than a breath as you catch his cheek in your hand, studying the dark circles under his cerulean eyes. He moves to protest and you know he is thinking of Anakin, so you silence him with a brush of your lips over his. His lashes flutter even after you pull away, tugging him to his feet.
"Anakin is in a lesson with the other younglings," You assure Obi-Wan, steering him towards your bed. The sheets are a cool, silky white and he falls gratefully onto them with only the softest noise. "I'm sure they'll contact me to gather him when it's over, considering no one else knows you're back yet. Really, Kenobi, you act like such a proper Knight- and then pull something like this."
"M'sure they saw me approach," Obi-Wan mutters, facedown against your pillows. "Nothing escapes the Council."
"Then be thankful they're allowing you a moment of respite and take it," You laugh softly, following his form into bed. You're reminded of your own exhaustion as soon as your boots are kicked off, reaching to pull Obi-Wan into your embrace.
"I bet I'll get commed first," He grumbles, but there's a mischievous touch to his voice that you haven't heard in months. You smile, bringing your hand back to his hair, and shush him half-heartedly.
In the golden, misty light of the filtered afternoon, you could swear he is nearly glowing.

Satine gives Obi wan a haircut… 🫢😏
- Sharp Object -
"Keep still, would you?'
Satine runs her hands through his damp hair, doing her best to finger comb away any tangles she may have missed.
"Apologies." He says, "Though it is rather difficult when you're yanking every which way on my hair."
Behind him he hears Satine chuckle lightly.
"Surely the man who engaged in more battles than I could count isn't being bested by a haircut."
A life of exile required a certain amount of anonymity; meaning that despite her initial protests about his beard he was able to keep it without too much resistance. Hiding his face came in handy when trying to blend in.
His actual hair, however, was another matter entirely. While Satine understood him leaving it a bit longer than he has in the past for the sake of masking his identity, she had finally told him it was getting too long for her liking and he was due for a haircut.
"I won't make it too short, if that's what you're worried about." She says, retrieving the scissors from the table.
"I trust you," He assures, "There aren't many people these days who I would allow so close to my neck with a sharp object."
Its meant as a joke, but even he hears the slight melancholy within his teasing tone.
Satine hears it too, but doesn't comment. Instead, she leans over his shoulder and presses a kiss to the underside of his jaw.
Having her here made it better. Navigating his grief was a daunting task, but Satine's presence takes the edge off of it. After all, she had her own losses to cope with.
"Don't move." She instructs.
He hears the scissors cutting before he feels the hair fall down his back and onto the floor. He debates asking her where she learned to cut hair, given that her royal title resulted in having a personal stylist. Then again, she had changed so much in the time between her exile from Mandalore and her arrival on Tatooine. Really, what did he know anymore? They had both changed immensely over the last year.
"Tilt your head forward a bit.”
A shiver runs down his spine when he feels her fingers graze against the nape of his neck.
For her part, Satine had also let her hair grow out longer than he had ever seen it. The entirety of the time they have known one another her hair had barely reached below her shoulders. The short hair suited her, but he would be lying if he said he didn't have an affinity for her longer hair.
And though she would never voice it aloud, he knew it was a comfort to her when he would play with her hair. She too had been plagued by her own set of nightmares and he found more often than not the action would lull her to sleep.
It was precisely for those reasons he vocalized his desire for her to keep it long.
Out of the corner of his eye he can see her shift slightly to the left as she trims carefully around his ear and then repeats the motion on the other side.
A memory flashes briefly through his mind; one of a younger Satine tugging on his Padawan braid and vocalizing her disdain for it. Had she been presented the opportunity he's certain she would have cut it off entirely.
"Okay, look straight again."
When he does he feels her run her fingers through his hair once more and ruffles it at the roots.
"There," She says, "Now you don't look like an unruly hermit."
Obi-Wan stands and brushes the loose hair from his shoulders, "And here I thought you liked the scruffy look for me."
"Scruffy I find to be rather charming," She teases, coming to stand in front of her, "Destitute, however, is another matter entirely."
"Far be it from me to look unkempt in the presence of nobility."
Satine laughs and its a beautiful sound.
"Not much nobility left I'm afraid." She remarks.
He leans forward and presses a kiss to her forehead.
"I'm fond of you either way."
Satine smiles widely.
"I'd hope so."

“reverse padawan/master loses so much of the obikin flavor dynamic to me tbh but padawans obikin? more experienced 25 obi-wan who is assigned to work with an unruly 18 year old anakin?” Saw this tweet of yours and I need you to expand on it! Pleasepleasepleasepleasepleasepleaseeeeeeeeee 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺
YES HELLO HI! for the record i don't care if anyone likes reverse aus and they're more than welcome to explore them. i just personally don't care for them for the reason mentioned. JUST THOUGHT i'd say that since some people take someone's dislikes personally sometimes. and that goes for anything <3
anyways disclaimer out of the way.
i LOVE LOVE the idea of putting padawans obikin together. obi-wan who is just right on the brink of being knighted + eighteen year old anakin who kind of thinks he has ALOT to prove, so he always jumps into something quickly without thinking about it. obi-wan is entirely stressed out because anakin can't watch his mouth (i imagine obi-wan constantly reminding anakin he's a senior padawan) and anakin does NOT care.
i personally also think about the two of them yanking on each other's padawan braid to be annoying and it turns into this whole fuckin' thing. i bet their sparring is just insane to witness also!! anakin always wants to come out on top and young obi-wan doesn't have the same patience he has originally, so yes they definietly wrestle sometimes.
also anakin has the biggest crush :/ obi-wan with the alex law long hair? rip anakin.

Also for same age au: anything with anakin fixating on obi wans padawan braid!!! (IN A WORLD WHERE ANAKIN ACTUALLY GETS TO HAVE THAT INSTEAD OF JUST THE OLD CLIPPING OF IT IN THE FUTURE IN THAT AMAZING FIC YOU WROTEEE) It could be like aakin lovingly tending to it and rebraiding it for him and refusing to let obi wan or even qui gon do it… or just you know pulling on it constantly putting it in his mouth and just being crazy and horny hehehe
I TRIED TO MAKE THIS SHORTTTT BUT ITS NOTT I'm gonna....write a longer fic about this, inevitably.
---
Obi-Wan fidgets. Tells himself not to touch it—he’s already done it three times within the hour, someone will notice—but its all wrong. He can feel that its wrong. His hair has grown out a bit in the last few days, but he plucks compulsively from his Palawan braid frequently enough there are short bits as well, and they come loose from the plait as he moves and trains and he can feel the stray hairs tickling against his jaw. Even if they are not technically there he will imagine them there all the same, and it's distracting enough he must slide the elastic from the end and rebraid it furiously, just so that he can focus on whatever Master Qui-Gon is even saying.
But he cannot get it right without a mirror. It itches, and Obi-Wan quakes with phantom pain. He fixates and waits for Qui-Gon to turn his full attention to Anakin so that he can have a quick moment in private to attempt to fix the braid. He knows it is a matter of time before he's temporarily ignored—he always is, eventually. Anakin is Qui-Gon’s clear favorite between the two of them, everyone knows it. This truth used to bother Obi-Wan, he used to feel jealous over it but…he doesn’t anymore, somehow. Maybe because Anakin is impossible to hate. Or maybe because it allows Obi-Wan these moments of being invisible, where he can complete the rituals he feels compelled to complete: Deft fingers plaiting and unplaiting, unruly hairs smoothed to submission. Or, almost smoothed to submission. Not quite. Never quite. The itch remains unscratched, and Obi-Wan is tugging at it again even as the lesson ends, dreaming of slipping away to a fresher so he can at lest see what’s going on and attempt to remedy it.
After the lesson Anakin jogs to catch up with him, brushes his fingers down the back of his arm and makes him jolt. “Hey! Obi-Wan,” he says breathlessly, grabbing his elbow to slow him down. “Wait up.”
“Sorry,” Obi-Wan says, always an apology, his default reaction to literally anything when he's in this state of mind. He tugs his arm away, cheeks burning. “I—“ but he stops himself. He doesn't know what to say. Sorry I'm rushing, but I have to fix my braid? It sounds absurd, when he knows Anakin has seen him do as much so many times today already, when he has felt the burn of his gaze.
Anakin is nothing if not perceptive, though, so he must sense his discomfort. He backs off, lets go and falls in stride beside Obi-Wan. They walk to the dormitories together, and only once their inside does Anakin speak.
“Can I ask you something?” he says, flopping down onto his bed.
Obi-Wan sits gingerly on his own, trying to quell the urge to excuse himself to the fresher, because he knows it would look odd, right now. The only thing more uncomfortable than the phantom-itch of his messy or maybe messy braid is looking odd, so, that impulse wins out. “What?” he asks.
Anakin sits up, cocks his head and studies Obi-Wan with such warm, attentive scrutiny it makes his stomach drop. Master Qui-Gon never looks at him like that. No one but Anakin ever looks at him like that. “Why do you fidget with your braid al the time?” Anakin asks, idly touching his own. “It looks fine, you know.”
Obi-Wan clenches his fists in his bed sheets to keep from reaching for the braid with compulsive self-consciousness. He can’t lie about why, not to someone like Anakin, so--there’s nothing to do but explain himself, and try to find the words that will make the weird truth seem as un-weird as possible. It’s a challenge, so he chews his cheek for a long time, and Anakin watches all the while, kicking his legs, face carefully blank and patient.
“It. It’s not about how it looks,” he finally explains, toying with the ends of the braid, frowning. “It’s that it feels wrong,” he says. “I can’t describe how exactly, but. It just does.” He shrugs helplessly, refusing to look at Anakin. Int will only hurt—Anakin is not only Qui-Gon’s favorite and good at everything, but also painfully handsome. It makes Obi-Wan’s eyes burn on a good day if he looks too much, too hard. “I never get it right, though,” he admits.
“It sounds like it sort of drives you crazy, then” Anakin says. “You don’t want to redo it, but you feel like you must, so you do?”
Relieved at the concise reflection, Obi-Wa nods furiously. “I wish I could forget about it all together, actually. But I can't.”
Just like that, Anakin is hopping off his bed, striding across the few meager feet between their bunks. He reaches out to touch Obi-Wan’s braid, then thinks better of it, clutching at the air in front of him instead. “What if I—I could do it for you? Braid it when you felt like you had to braid it. It might not be perfect, but you wouldn’t have to know, because I would be the one doing it," he offers, like this is a simple alternative.
Obi-Wan flushes, something pure and animal leaping in his chest and thudding against his breastbone, yearning towards Anakin. Anakin’s sure fingers that take apart and rebuild droids. That grip the light-saber hilt with absolutely unshakable confidence. He shudders, shifting his seat. “You don’t have to.”
Anakin makes an impatient, wordless sound in his throat, reaches for Obi-Wan’s shoulders and shakes them gently. “Look at me,” he begs, and so Obi-Wan does, trying his best to ignore the wobble in his stomach, the electric crackle of their eyes meeting. “I want to,” Anakin says, very sincerely. “I notice how much you touch it, and you shouldn’t have to—you shouldn’t have to worry so much. I'll do a good job, too! I can braid. It’s easier to braid on another person than on yourself, anyhow.”
And yes—that's true, that's logical. Obi-Wan likes truth, likes logic. He can convince himself that’s what is appealing about this solution, and not the idea of Anakin touching his hair. “Fine, alright,” he finally concedes. “Thank you.”
Grinning, Anakin hops onto Obi-Wan’s bed. “I can touch it?” he asks, politely brushing against the very ends of the braid without reaching for the plait just yet. Obi-Wan wouldn’t mind—it’s a relief to relinquish obsessive control over this single thing. Especially to Anakin, who makes most things look easy. “Yes, go ahead,” he says, tilting his head, providing access.
Anakin’s breath gets a little shaky as he takes it, brushing his knuckles against Obi-Wan’s throat in the process, inching the elastic out and untwining the plait. “It’s a really pretty color, you know,” he mumbles, almost under his breath. “Your hair, I mean.”
Obi-Wan blushes violently, hating the way heat rises sudden and incriminating to his cheeks. If Anakin notices, he says nothing, but Obi-Wan squirms and burns up all the same. "Thank you," he says again, just as awkward as the last.
Taking his time, Anakin finger combs through the long strands, studying them thoughtfully before smoothing his fingers up to Obi-Wan’s scalp, kneading there. It’s dreadfully intimate—Obi-Wan tries to breathe, tries to keep his heart and breath steady as Anakin divides the hair into three segments, and begins weaving them tightly together. “Would it help,” he murmurs, “if you never had to touch it? If it was just me?”
Obi-Wan’s heart is pounding so loudly Anakin must be able to hear. He swallows, and his throat clicks. “Maybe,” he says weakly. And then, as he inhales and smells the sweetness of Anakin’s breath—“Yes.”
“Ok,” Anakin says. “I can be on permanent, forever braid duty, if you want. Then you wouldn’t have to get upset or distracted during training.”
“Is it so obvious?” Obi-Wan mumbles miserably, thinking about all the times he thought he was being subtle about the ritual. Anakin clearly noticed—did Qui-Gon notice, too? Did he think Obi-Wan was a freak? Did Anakin think that?
“Maybe not for someone who doesn't look at you all the time,” Anakin says, finishing the braid, pinching the ends together to tie them off. “So…just for me, then. Ta-dah! It’s done," he announces, the finality of the declaration smudging out everything else he just said, leaving Obi-Wan to wonder if he heard it right, if he understood. Hr sits there, dumbfounded, and Anakin shoots him a pleading look." Do you like it?”
Obi-Wan reaches up, smooths his fingers down the braid, and tries to school a smile. It is tidier and tighter than he can do himself without a mirror, but also—Anakin did it. Anakin’s touch is all over it, hot and thrumming and wonderful. He called his hair pretty. He looks at him all the time, apparently. It feels very good to realize these things, to touch them in the careful notices of the braid. “I love it,” he admits, too raw, too real.

The Senator's question catches Melakeni off-guard. Over the months, they have often spoken to one another plainly as women rather than by their chosen professions. If asked her opinion, the young knight might suspect that the Senator wishes she were closer to her sister. Or had a less political sense of sorority with her friends, her allies. Or perhaps, and this one might be conspiratorial, she simply wants an unfiltered opinion. There are many things that the Temple has taught Melakeni, but lying is not chief amongst them. They walk through the garden. The grass beneath her feet reminds her of home, a word she does not use often. She misses her both of her fathers. She misses the real sun on her skin. She cannot miss her home-world, any more than she is allowed to miss anything else. So she pushes the feelings down deep. Stirs her thoughts for something she might say to satisfy the query posed to her. Of all the Jedi, she is most close to those of her youngling clan. The youngest fears he will not be chosen by a Master. He fears his understanding and ability to channel the Force is not enough to secure his future in the Order. She has offered him close embraces and soothing kisses to his brow. Sweeping back the thick, unruly waves of his hair. She tells him the stories she remembers from her earliest memories. To say she has the softest place inside her for him is an understatement. If she had the power, she would take him under her wing. She would be his Master, but she has not yet earned the right to take on a padawan. The next face that rises almost makes an uncharacteristic smile rise to her face. The very idea of kissing him is preposterous. At best they are competative with one another. Each easily egging the other on as they are both Consulars. Whether it is healing or fostering life on even the most dismal and barren of worlds, they are nearly peerless. But as much as their natural antagonism shines through, so too, is their deepest understanding. They might share things few others would be able to empathise with. But she suspects if they were to even attempt to press their mouths together, they might both shatter like glass. And then there is Anakin. His mouth is soft. It is sweet. Their kisses are desperate in a way that might defy explanation but she knows it is because there are so very few moments they might spend together. There is every expectation that the next time they are parted, it will be the last. Every moment they are away from one another it feels like a part of her is missing. So of course their reunions are equally as passionate, equally as raw. But she will not tell this to the Senator. She cannot tell anyone. Sometimes not even Anakin himself. "Were I to kiss someone, I assume I would, my lady. Tongue and teeth, and breath drawn deep within. I would wish to communicate the depths of passion within my being. I would want to taste the Living Force as it clings to their soul. Just as I would think they would wish to know the same of me." And of a sudden, Melakeni comes to a stop. Arms withdrawn into the sleeves of her robes, she puts herself in the Senator's path, and gravely those brilliant green eyes search the taller woman's face. "Pardon me for having the audacity to postulate…but…are you simply curious about intimacy in regards to the Jedi, or….is it possible, Padmé, that you wish to kiss…me?"

Ahsoka and Teen Rebellion
Here’s a really interesting fact about good ol Papa George Lucas. He’s a hippie-a scion of 50′s hot rod culture specifically- who loves teen rebellion.  No Seriously.
“My father thought I was going to turn into a beatnik….I’ve always had a basic dislike of authority figures, a fear and resentment of grown ups.”
https://lareviewofbooks.org/article/politics-behind-original-star-wars/ Before SW, George directed American Graffiti: an early 60′s teen comedy that celebrates-and critiques-greasers, street racing, underage drinking, pranks, and rock n roll.
Tumblr media
During that movie, a teenager, played by Ron Howard, tells his teacher to kiss a duck…without consequences.
Also, George let’s another teenager-played by Richard Dreyfuss, to vandalize an occupied cop car without consequences.
ANH is about a bunch of college hippies sticking it to the man…in space.
During Jedi, Obi tells Luke he has no choice but to kill Vader, to resolve conflict with violence. Rather than obey Obi, Luke disobeys him, chooses to save Vader with peace and love and succeeds!
So what does any of this have to do with good ol snips?
To begin with, GEORGE assigned Ahsoka to Anakin.
“[With Ahsoka] I wanted to develop a character who would help Anakin settle down. He's a wild child after [Attack of the Clones]. He and Obi Wan don't get along. So we wanted to look at how Anakin and Ahsoka become friends, partners, a team. When you become a parent or you become a teacher you have to become more respnsible. I wanted to force Anakin into that role of responsibility, into that juxtaposition. I have a couple of daughters so I have experience with that situation. I said instead of a guy let's make her a girl. Teenage girls are just as hard to deal with as teenage boys are.”
https://gizmodo.com/george-lucas-spills-all-about-clone-wars-at-skywalker-r-5033398
If we interpret  Snips’ story through the context of George’s perspective, something becomes clear. I don’t think a single Star Wars character, save for Hayden’s version of Anakin, embodies George’s  love of teen rebellion-and his resentment of grown ups as well as Ahsoka.
Ahsoka is hotheaded, impulsive and of course defiant. She hates being treated like a kid, fears punishment, and constantly butts heads with the adults in her life. She constantly trash talks adult authority figures-Anakin, Grievous, Hondo, Tarkin, Palpatine, Obi wan, Vizla etc.
During Malevolence, Ahsoka saves Plo by defying the council. During cloak of Darkness, Snips saves Luminara by defying her. During heroes on both sides, she agrees to break the law with Padme for the sake of peace. During that same episode, one could say she metaphorically sneaks out of her home-the republic-and meets a boy in the process-Lux. She saves the citadel mission by defying Anakin. During the Padawan lost arc, she kills an aggressive father figure. During the youngling arc, Ahsoka straight up tells the kids “sometimes doing the right thing means bending the rules”. All of this subtext climaxes during her big arc in season 5. In this arc, she runs away from and defies a system of adult authority that wants to “unfairly” punish her. During this arc, Ahsoka defies Anakin when he tells her to come back. And the arc ends with her individuating from her primary caregiver-Anakin.
In my opinion, this rebellious subtext gives Ahsoka’s heroic feats a truly awe inspiring quality. As a kid, watching her made you feel like even the world’s biggest “brat”-an unruly child-could step up to the plate and deliver.
Unfortunately, all of this subtext only works when you are a teenager. Growing up means realizing that your actions have consequences and that all the rules teens stereotypically hate exist to keep people safe. Therefore, impulsive hotheaded, “rebels” like Ahsoka, or Korra, or KLK’s Ryuko Matoi, or LWA’s Akko, simply don’t fly in the real world.

one thing rebels did really well is making ezra do stupid shit with his lightsaber. obviously this kind of behavior was discouraged in the old jedi order, what with padawans being taught to respect their weapons, but ezra makes it a blaster, uses it as a flashlight, and bothers Zeb with it frequently. his way of using a lightsaber in seasons 1 and 2 is unique and unruly, just like he is.

Hope could not be happier to hear that she was to be placed with General Kenobi. All the other padawans had coveted the idea of being the apprentice to the chosen one and were jealous of Ahsoka's placement. But Obi-wan had become a personal hero to the girl since she was saved from the clutches of the sith who had ripped the fore sensitive from her mother's clutches only hours after birth. A gentle hand wrapped on the door to the apartments of the fellow ginger force user. The last thing she needed for this situation was to walk in on him or make him uncomfortable. Ahsoka had teased her for being so snarky to everyone and still craving the approval of the adults that she respected. It wasn't like the general was incapable of dealing with Padawans who's fire blazed wild on the light side and were prone to trouble than his cool, calm placid lake. When the door open, she shuffled only slightly through the door way. Cheeks nearly as red as her auburn hair. His confused face perplexed her. Had he not been informed? It was a sense of pride that her midoclorian level was one of the highest in the youngling classifications though she had hoped he had asked of her or been proud of this placement. A gentle hand ran forward to twirl the braid that would continue to take prominence in her features for years to come "Master Yoda sent me to speak with you. I am your new Padawan. It seems they think you are the tamer of unruly, sassy Padawans. "

🖊 your choice!! @fives-girlfriend
Oooo!! Well I totally just want to gush about how Sa’dyra lost her arm.. it’s not the most lighthearted thing.. but it’s a cool story..
so when she was a padawan many years ago, when she was 17.. her and Plo Koon went to a droid factory during the early years of the rise of the separatist party. As her and Plo Koon investigated the factory, they were ambushed by the newly fashioned Droidekas.. causing her to fall from a great height onto the conveyor belt.. her arm was encased in metal (just like the scene with Anakin in attack of the clones) however with her situation.. her arm was melted off from the elbow joint and encased in the metal. Plo koon searched for her.. but assumed his padawan was unfortunately dead.. she was later found by the separatist leader of the factory. She was imprisoned and eventually sold to the techno union (This is where they got their ideas to torture echo in my AU) they gave her a cybernetic arm as well as experimented with the their new internal cybernetics.. such as giving her cybernetics along her spine and her leg joints.. giving her more strength and speed.. but Sa’dyra didn’t let this happen without a fight. She was eventually encased in carbonite for being an ‘unruly prisoner’ where she stay encased for 5 years on another separatist planet..when she was presumably 22 years old.. she was discovered by Qui-Gon Jinn and his then padawan.. Obi-Wan Kenobi. Having been awoken 5 years later Sa’dyra Went through struggles.. the times has changed, she was older, her old green saber was gone.. and she needed to get a new one.. after going to caves, she climbed to the highest point of the cave.. using the changes in her body to her advantage and pulled out a yellow kyber crystal.. a true sign that she had changed in many ways.. but was still the strong, brave Jedi she was those years before her imprisonment..
