Obsessed with characters who portray themselves as worse than they are. Who are lying to everyone including themselves about it. People generally assume if someone's lying about themselves they're trying to look better but sometimes they're trying to look worse. They attribute agency to where they had none, add intend to accidents, try to convince everyone that this is something they did instead of something that happened to them.

Who gets to sleep?
Since my baby was born part of my nightstand equipment is the sleep monitor so I am able not only to listen but also to see my baby and action whenever she awakes. A question that comes to my mind is: who should wake up to attend a crying baby?
It is me most of the time; my wife sometimes is too tired and doesnt even notices our baby crying. I even got a wake up statement with a shining smile: the baby slept thru the whole night! that was awesome!. My immediate response is: she woke up and cried 5 times!
She is in charge of our baby during the day but I work from home so I help during the day whenever I have some time. Still, she is the one who gets to sleep during our baby's naps while I need to continue working. Moreover, whenever WE have a rough night she shares with the family: "Our baby didnt let ME sleep... she kept ME awake... and I still need to take care of her today".
I must confess that those statements in singular person frustrates and irritates me; it is not just her waking up, some nights she doesnt even wake up! And it annoys me that she projects a wrong message on me kind of saying that I slept while she stayed awake.
Is it wrong to demand some level of credit for those hard nights? I sometimes feel she just takes for granted that I wake up and that just because she is the mother she is the one who deserves the credit.

I’m actually LOVING how Rick Riordan, and the other writers of the show, took his initial concept of a Percabeth rivalry fueled by that of their parents and kind of turned it on its head?
Now, instead of Annabeth being wary of Percy because he’s a son of Poseidon, he’s wary of her because she made a callous impression on him. They get off to a rocky start even before finding out who Percy’s father is, and when they finally do, Annabeth doesn’t care. Instead of them fighting because of who their parents are, they’re fighting over their own opposed worldviews.
Then, instead of them arguing over which of the gods is cooler and who was right in the story of Medusa, they realize that, just like Medusa, Annabeth is a victim of her mother and that, unlike Medusa, she is a far kinder and stronger person, unwilling to repeat the cycle of hurt. They realize that, like his father, Percy often acts without considering potential consequences and that, unlike his father, he is a far kinder and stronger person, willing to step up for someone he wronged and whom he cares about.
Instead of Percy and Annabeth’s rivalry being focused on that of their parents, it’s focused on who they are, themselves. But the path to friendship is still the same: a realization that they have each other’s backs, no matter what, because they’re not their parents after all.

"LOL this flip-flop wearing loser thinks he's gonna kick my ass and destroy my whole kingdom in the span of an afternoon. What an idiot"
I didn't intend for this to be a full comic, which is why it just kinda ends. Sowwy

It is not lost on me that Charlie and Vaggie were initially not doing great against Adam and Lute...and then proved Carmilla was so fucking right.
Vaggie is absolutely FUCKED here. She's been in this position before, with Lute looming over her spitting vitriolic judgment, Vaggie's blood on the ground. Back then, she couldn't stop Lute from taking away her wings, her eye, her home, and her purpose. But now? She has more than that; she has love, because she has Charlie.
When Lute threatens Charlie, everything changes. Vaggie fucks her up immediately...and shows "mercy" knowing that being forced to live with part of herself gone (her arm was CRUSHED, no way was she getting it back), the shame of defeat, and the knowledge that someone she's been looking down on so completely is responsible for it all is a fate MUCH worse than death for Lute.
And Charlie? Charlie's insanely powerful but has no clue how to use her power to its full potential because she's never had a reason or desire to fight until now. Even when she's being strangled, when she's pissed-off and vengeful, she can't really tap into that power. But then Adam comes at her dad and is about to catch him off-guard.
He's about to hurt—possibly kill—her dad, who she's finally building a good relationship with; her dad, who just showed up to protect her despite the risk of politically turning this battle from an act of defiance by a willful princess to an act of full-on rebellion by the King of Hell himself. She reacts on instinct to protect her father and stops a hit that destroyed Alastor's shield. And she does it effortlessly.
Carmilla was right. For these ladies, at least, the need to protect someone they love, no matter what kind of love it is, is exactly what rallies them to come at enemies who were just kicking their asses and absolutely dominate.

Niffty’s favorite bad boy.
I wouldn’t be surprised if at the end Niffty turned out just to be hanging around Alastor (instead of him owning her soul like Husk) just because he’s the ultimate bad boy.

Being a Dad... Where to begin?
For quite some time I have been thinking "Am I the only one feeling like this?". I sometimes find myself in an overwhelming tide of emotions during one single day, from tiredness, joy, anger, frustration, satisfaction... and this is not only towards being a father but also being a husband; I often find myself demanded attention by two important people in my life: my wife and my daughter.
I want to start sharing my experiences and my feelings, how I sometimes overcome them as well as when I can't. I am not a writer but will do my best to make this blog a funny and factious source where other dads (or whoever needs) can also find themselves accompanied in this journey.
I will be posting a first topic in the upcoming days! Have a great day ahead! Feel free to comment/ask about any particular topic you would like to read about.

demanding a series in the same vein (heh, vein) as Dexter/Hannibal wherein a prolific serial killer plays cat & mouse with the police--except the serial killer in question is a preteen schoolgirl. this would make for compelling television due to the fact that middle school frequently causes girls to become deranged, and more media should reflect this
