I know we get a little fixated on how Melanie doesn't even know how old Alex is, but have we ever thought about how there's possibly an in-universe explanation for it and that's how Alex is simultaneously 15 (if you ask Melanie) and 17 (if you ask anyone else)
#i actually think about this quite a bit#because we know that wilford has had audrey basically reprogram people for him before. and that they don't fully remember things after.#we also know that melanie somehow had something to do/knew of the suspension drugs by breslauer. and that those mess with your brain#and also have we considered that melanie had not seen alex in the 2 years leading up to departure. so that's a possible explanation as well.#we ALSO don't know what two years melanie forgot about. like what age alex was. so it's possible melanie just repressed those whole 2 years#snowpiercer#snowpiercer tnt#melanie cavill#anyways i think about this too much. sorry.
